A Study on E-business Possibility through the Characteristic Analysis of Smart Phone Market in South Asia : Focusing on Vietnam

  • Purpose - This paper suggests approaching methods for a way of strategies for traditional market extend and new ebusiness, market development, and plan of new product in the future and develop a way of method for cooperation through analysis on the smart phone market trend in different culture, effectively. Research design, data, methodology - As research design, data, and methodology, this paper suggests new idea and approaches from comparing characteristics analysis of smart phone market in different culture in AEC. This paper takes data to analysis from ITU, World Bank, AEC, and IMF. These organizer's data can be trusted as official society in the world. This paper can prove market and the characteristics of society through the corresponding results. Results - This paper can suggest the novel idea on market development and the big possibility depend on ACE country and can describe the possibility on new market because of low smart phone market penetration and low digital market penetration. Conclusions - This paper concludes to develop e-business, culture friendly ship, linking with education, development of appropriate technology depend on country, and should develop new strategy for market extend to low penetration.

차량속도에 따른 연성 포장의 최대인장변형률에 관한 연구 (A Study on Maximum Tensile Strain of Vehicle Speeds in Flexible Pavement)

  • This study presents a viscoelastic characterization of flexible pavement subjected to moving loads. A series of field tests have been conducted on three pavement sections (A2, A5, and A8) at the Korea Expressway Corporation (KEC) test road. The effect of vehicle speed on the responses of each test section was investigated at three speeds: 25km/hr, 50km/hr, and 80km/hr. During the test, both longitudinal and lateral strains were measured at the bottom of asphalt layers and in-situ measurements were compared with the results of finite element (FE) analyses. A commercial FE package was used to model each test section and a step loading approximation has been adopted to simulate the effect a moving vehicle. Field responses reveal the strain anisotropy (i.e., discrepancy between longitudinal and lateral strains) and the amplitude of strain normally decreases as the vehicle speed increases. In most cases, lateral strain was smaller than the longitudinal strain, and strain reduction was more significant in lateral direction.

A Simple Power Management Scheme with Enhanced Stability for a Solar PV/Wind/Fuel Cell Fed Standalone Hybrid Power Supply using Embedded and Neural Network Controller

  • This paper propose a new power conditioner topology with intelligent power management controller that integrates multiple renewable energy sources such as solar energy, wind energy and fuel cell energy with battery backup to make best use of their operating characteristics and obtain better reliability than that could be obtained by single renewable energy based power supply. The proposed embedded controller is programmed for maintaining a constant voltage at PCC, maximum power point tracking for solar PV panel and WTG and power flow control by regulating the reference currents of the controller on instantaneous basis based on the power delivered by the sources and load demand. Instantaneous variation in reference currents of the controller enhances the controller response as it accommodates the effect of continuously varying solar insolation and wind speed in the power management. The power conditioner uses a battery bank with embedded controller based online SOC estimation and battery charging system to suitably sink or source the input power based on the load demand. The simulation results of the proposed power management system for a standalone solar/WTG/fuel cell fed hybrid power supply with real time solar radiation and wind velocity data collected from solar centre, KEC for a sporadically varying load demand is presented in this paper and the results are encouraging in reliability and stability perspective.

  • This paper presents the electrical properties of SiGe HBTs designed with bottom collector and single metal layer structure for RF power amplifier. Base layer was formed with graded-SiGe/Si structures and the collector place to the bottom of the device. Bottom collector and single metal layer structures could significantly simplify the fabrication process. We studied about the influence of SiGe base thickness, number of emitter fingers and temperature dependence (< $200^{\circ}C$) on electrical properties. The feasible application in 1~2GHz frequency from measured data $BV_{CEO}$ ~10V, $f_r$~14 GHz, ${\beta\simeq}110$, NF~1 dB using packaged SiGe HBTs. We will discuss the temperature dependent current flow through the e-b, b-c junctions to understand stability and performance of the device.

불순물 첨가에 따른 $Al_2O_3$세라믹스의 구조적 특성 (Structural Properties of $Al_2O_3$Ceramics with impurities)

  • The $Al_2$O$_3$specimens were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method with addition La$_2$O$_3$, Bi$_2$O$_3$. The specimens were sintered at 15$25^{\circ}C$, 5hr., in air. The structural properties of the specimens were investigated by XRD and SEM. The $Al_2$O$_3$ceramics with dopants had hexagonal structure and didn't show secondary phases. In the case of specimens with 0.25wt% La$_2$O$_3$and 0.25wt% Bi$_2$O$_3$bulk densities and lattice parameter of c/a were 3.818g/cm$^3$, 3.783g/cm$^3$and ca=2.725, c/a=2.723, respectively. The bulk densities of $Al_2$O$_3$ceramics were decreased with dopants.

Acceptance of Social Media as a Marketing Tool : A Quantitative Study

  • Purpose - The purpose of current paper is to identify features of advertisements at social media that generate the ad-click and to further identify if these advertisements lead to purchase. If no purchase is made, then reasons for not making purchase are identified. Users' purchase experience after users clicked at advertisements are also studied. Research design, data, and methodology - Research design followed is exploratory research, where various factors leading to ad-clicks and generating purchase at social media platform were explored. Raw data was gathered by means of survey among a sample of 185 respondents in India using online structured questionnaire. GLM model and multinomial regression were used to analyze the data. Results - Several factors including endorsement by friends, advertisement aesthetics, product reviews, and aggressive pricing played major role in generating ad-clicks. Major impediment to purchase on were product misrepresentation in advertisement, false discounts, and site security. Female users clicked more on social media advertisements and made more purchases compared to their male counterpart. Conclusions - Social media advertisements have significant positive effect on buying behavior of online customers. Transactions culminating from social media ad-click generated significant positive experience for social media users. Thus, social media can be effective marketing tool.

인방보에 마찰형 감쇠기가 설치된 전단벽의 제진효과 (Control Effectiveness of Shear Walls Connected by Beams with Friction Dampers)

  • 휨거동을 하는 전단벽을 대상으로 동일한 총 단면적을 갖는 1개의 전단벽과 마찰형 감쇠기로 연결된 전단벽의 내진성능을 수치해석을 통해 비교하였다. KBC 2005 설계스펙트럼을 근거로 축소 조절한 7개의 지진파를 입력하중으로 마찰형 감쇠기가 설치된 전단벽의 평균응답을 분석하였다. 마찰형 감쇠기의 중요한 설계변수인 기준 마찰력인 슬립하중은 각층의 마찰형 감쇠기 위치에 생기는 수직방향 전단력의 총합의 5, 10, 20, 30, 60, 90%값으로 하여 슬립이 특정한 층에 편중되지 않도록 하였다. SeismoSturct 프로그램을 이용해 비선형시간이력 해석을 수행하여 밑면 전단력, 에너지 소산량, 1층 벽체곡률, 최상층변위 측면에서 마찰 감쇠기의 제진성능을 분석하였다. 기준마찰력의 30%이하 수준의 총 마찰력을 갖는 마찰 감쇠기가 우수한 제진성능을 보였다.

Blended Learning을 활용한 건축공학CAD 수업 사례연구 (A Case Study on Engineering Education of Architectural Engineering CAD Using Blended Learning)

  • 건축을 전공하는 학생들에게 있어서 건축물을 그림과 기호로 표현하는 것은 자신의 의견을 글이나 발표로 표현하는 것과 같다고 할 수 있다. CAD (computer aided design)는 건축물을 표현하는 방법으로 실무에서도 많이 사용되고 있으며, 건축 관련 전공에서는 거의 개설된 과목이다. 건축공학교육인증(KEC2005)에서도 시각표현적인 과목으로 기초과목으로 요구하고 있어서 CAD를 인증교과목으로 개설하고 있다. J대학교 건축공학전공의 건축제도및CAD 수업은 2학점 4시수로 편제되어 있다. 4시간의 수업시간을 가지고 있지만 실습수업이므로 다른 과목에 비하여 상대적으로 적은 편이다. 본 연구는 부족한 수업시수를 보완하고 학생-교수 사이의 피드백을 활성화하기 위해 오프라인(off-line)과 온라인(on-line) 수업을 결합하는 블렌디드 러닝(blended learning)을 적용하고 그 사례를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 블렌디드 러닝을 위해 온라인에 수업 카페를 개설하고 과제를 제출함으로써 학생들은 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않을 수 있었으며, 교수도 장소와 시간에 상관없이 피드백을 제공하고 활성화할 수 장점을 확인하였다.

Si1-xGex 층의 건식산화 동안 Ge 재 분포와 상호 확산의 영향 (Effect of Ge Redistribution and Interdiffusion during Si1-xGex Layer Dry Oxidation)

  • We have studied the Ge redistribution after dry oxidation and the oxide growth rate of $Si_{1-x}Ge_x$ epitaxial layer. Oxidation were performed at 700, 800, 900, and $1,000\;^{\circ}C$. After the oxidation, the results of RBS (Rutherford Back Scattering) & AES(Auger Electron Spectroscopy) showed that Ge was completely rejected out of the oxide and pile up at $Si_{1-x}Ge_x$ interface. It is shown that the presence of Ge at the $Si_{1-x}Ge_x$ interface changes the dry oxidation rate. The dry oxidation rate was equal to that of pure Si regardless of Ge mole fraction at 700 and 800$^{\circ}C$, while it was decreased at both 900 and $1,000^{\circ}C$ as the Ge mole fraction was increased. The dry of idation rates were reduced for heavy Ge concentration, and large oxiidation time. In the parabolic growth region of $Si_{1-x}Ge_x$ oxidation, the parabolic rate constant are decreased due to the presence of Ge-rich layer. After the longer oxidation at the $1,000^{\circ}C$, AES showed that Ge peak distribution at the $Si_{1-x}Ge_x$ interface reduced by interdiffusion of silicon and germanium.

스마트하이웨이 테스트베드에서의 WAVE 기반 V2X 통신 성능에 대한 실험적 분석 (Experimental Analysis of V2X Communication Performance based on WAVE at the SMART-Highway Test-bed)

  • 전 세계적으로 도로 상에서의 교통사고를 줄이고 교통 효율을 향상시키기 위한 많은 연구가 수행되어 왔으며, 최근에는 특히 C-ITS(Cooperative Intelligent Transportation System, 협력형 지능형교통체계) 기술을 기반으로 한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. C-ITS 기술의 핵심은 인프라, 차량, 사람 등 도로시스템을 구성하는 요소들이 서로 간에 정보를 공유하고 재생성함으로써 도로안전 및 교통효율의 향상을 도모하는 것이며, 이를 위해 차량용 무선통신기술인 V2X(Vehicle-to-X) 통신기술이 적용되고 있다. 국내에서는 스마트하이웨이 연구를 통해 V2X 통신기술에 대한 연구가 진행되어 왔으며, 실제 고속도로 환경에서의 기술성능을 검증하기 위해 테스트베드를 구축하여 운영하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트하이웨이 테스트베드에 대해 간략히 소개하고, 테스트베드 상에서의 성능 분석 절차 및 결과에 대해 기술한다.
