Effect of Electro Convulsion Therapy (ECT) on the Human Growth Hormone (HGH) response was observed in 32 cases of various mental illness. The patients were fasting overnight and ECT was induced in the morning by application of $90{\sim}120V$ for a period of $0.1{\sim}0.5\;sec$. In all patients, venous blood samples were taken prior to simultaneously with 1 and 4 hours after the ECT. Plasma was immediately seperated and stored in $-20^{\circ}C$ refrigerator. HGH concentrantion was determined by means of radioimmunoassay Results were as follows: 1. Application of electric current was not followed by a significant change in mean plasma HGH of 52 cases. 2 Increases of plasma HGH following ECT were observed in about half cases showing low initial level but in 20 other cases with high initial level of plasma HGH, reasonable decreases after therapy were not found. 3. Plasma concentration of HGH one hour after application of current were always higher than just after the current. 4. There were no differences between HGH responses to a 1st, 2nd or 5th ECT. 5. Discussions were made on the possible modification of HGH response following ECT by the autoregulatory control mechanism.

Confusion of network traffic is increased by increasing of internet user and large of network. Specially olded one and one communication caused loss of bandwidth because redundant packet by increaseing video conference and internet broadcasting. Thereupon multicast technique, method reducing loss of bandwith, for multimedia data transmission was proposed. This paper verify efficiency after analysis about seperated tree management and multicast traffic transmission method for removing complexity of multicast protocal.

In this paper, theoretical basis of stereoscopic display is investigated and programmed to shaw the application which could be used in the Virtual Reality (VR), especially for ship design. Stereoscopic is based on the seperated view point of left and right eyes on the screen and making 3 dimensional image. There different stereoscopic methods such are red-blue, interlacing, side-by-side and above-below are imvestigated and implemente to shaw the simple ship model and inside of ship. To shaw the 3 dimensional view, OpenGL is used to make program by implementing the logic of stereoscopic. Simple models and ship design are implemented to survey the applicability of stereoscopic for ship design. The best way is to use two projectors to emit interlaced shape. It is expected to imply this technique in the VR application for ship design.

Using trace etching method in this study, we measure the energy of argon ions generated in VEBA System which is composed of Marx Generater and Pulse Forming Line. In this system the electron beam of 240 kV, 30 kA, 60 ns is generated. Argon ions are formed through the electron beam ionization of a gas cloud injected by a fast puff valve. Thus argon ions are accelerated into vacuum drift tube by a virtual cathode and seperated with electron beam, consequently, they heat the trace etching plates made of aluminum thin films. The energy of argon ions are determined by the number of aluminum thin films penetrated by the ions. This experimental value corresponds with the theoretical value.

The essential oil of Artemisia apiaceae Hence was extracted by simultanous distillation-extraction and steam distillation and analyzed by GC and GC-MS. The oil content of Artemisia apiaceae Hance was 0.23% when extracted by steam distillation and 0.37% in case of simultaneous distillation-extraction and sensory analysis of the oil indicated camphorous and herbal characteristic notes. the experimental results confirmed the presence 34 volatile components, the major components were camphene, camphor borneol and caryophyllene. 5 fraction have a good aroma character among 11 fraction were seperated by using silicagel column chromatography. This can is used for the pharmaceutical industry because of amedical action.

This study is carried out through ecological situation of native Bupleurum latissimum habitats and the research of environmental conditions for conservation of native sites, restoration of alternative habitats and preliminary data for application of useful medicinal plant. Native Bupleurum latissimum habitats were distributed on lower and middle part of the mountain from Altitude 54m to 185m, and the directions of slope were researched as usually northen and western slope. As a result of phytosociological research in 12 stands of native Bupleurum latissimum habitats, they were seperated to two communities(Bupleurum latissimum typical community and Bupleurum latissimum-Galium spurium community) in accordance with containable rate of the organic matter and soil hardeness. Soil condition is usually constituted as loamy sand and clay loam. Bupleurum latissimum is propagated in valuable soil conditions. Bupleurum latissimum lives with Morus bombycis, Reynoutria sachalinensis in Bupleurum latissimum typical community and Thalictrum aquilegifolium, Stellaria media, Hedera rhombea etc. is appeared with Bupleurum latissimum in Bupleurum latissimum-Galium spurium community. Especially, companion species were researched as Aster glehni, Dystaenia takeshimana and so on. The flora of vascular plants in this study is 44 families, 88genus 82species, 2 subspecies, 14 varietas, 4 forma and total 102 taxa. Plants of compositae occupied 10.78% among whole of them.

In this study two sets of experiments were undertaken. Firstly, the embryonated eggs and first-stage larvae, sprayed in disinfected soil, were exposed to different temperatures. Then, the viabilities of them were weekly determined by inoculating the soil to earthworms, Eisenia foetida. Secondly, the infective larvae, seperated from the earthworms and suspended in tap water, were also exposed to different temperatures and their viabilities were checked microscopically at weekly intervals. The results were summerized as follows: 1. The maximum longevities of embryonated eggs and first-stage larvae were determined as 1 week at $35^{\circ}C$, over 36 weeks at $25^{\circ}C$, $15^{\circ}C$, and $5^{\circ}C$, 32 weeks at $-5^{\circ}C$, and under 1 week at $-15^{\circ}C$. 2. The mean numbers of infective larvae detected from the test earthworms were greatest at $5^{\circ}C$, and decreased with rise or fall of the temperature. 3. Infective larvae freed from the intermediate host were able to survive for 2 weeks at $25^{\circ}C$ and 3 weeks at $15^{\circ}C$. However, they lost their viabilities in a week at $35^{\circ}C$, $5^{\circ}C$, $-5^{\circ}C$, and $-15^{\circ}C$. 4. The number of living infective larvae at $15^{\circ}C$ was greater than at $25^{\circ}C$.

The results are as follows. 1. Oriental medical terms which express abnormal sensations are Bulin, Mamok, Mamokbulin. 2. Bulin, Oriental medical terminology, was used from Naegyeong's era to the Song Dynasty era and expressed as one of the symptoms in Jungpung(Stroke), Bi syndrome(Obstruction syndrom of Gi and Hyeol), Wi syndrome(Flaccid paralysis of the limbs), Hyeolbi(One of the Bi syndroms). But since the Keum Dynasty era, Mamok or Mamokbulin were more used than Bulin and that was refered as seperated disease. 3. Ma is paresthesia or dysthesia on the skin and the limbs, and the symtoms are not itchy, patients are felt like insect's crawling or bite. Mok is a stubborn symptom , the patients are felt like tree, which don't know pain and itching sensation. And therefore Ma is similar to positive phenomena and Mok is similar to negative phenomena in clinical aspect. 4. Mamok is GiHyeol(Gi is functional activities, Hyeol is blood) and Gyeonglak(Meridian system)'s disease. It's main causes are Giheo(Deficiency of Gi) and Hyeolhel(dificiency of Blood) and inducing tactors are Pung-Han-Seub(pathogenic wind-cold-dump) and Damtak(Phlegm-turbity), Eohyeol(Stagnated blood). 5. Mamok is induced from mononeuritis, multiple mononeuritis, polyneuropathy in the peripheral nervous lesions and also induced from cervical spondylosis, spinal tumour, multiple sclerosis, cerebrospinal vascular disease in central nervous systems.

1. The traditional view of nature in oriental medicine originated with a horizontal relation between nature and human. But the Sasang Constitution Medicine is based on the thought that ethical value is due to nature and at the same time nature could be transformed by ethical inclination. 2. The Sasang Constitution Medicine is not only a clinical medicine, but also a nature-philosophical system which implies the korean general view of nature. 3. We must examine a thought critically, four seperated physical structure were indeed deterministic. A deterministic understanding is false, because it is based on the recipiency of western philosophical ontology without reflection. 4. Korean view of nature is not kept in the fixed structure, and then can be opened and transformed by personal doings (practical acts). It is important that Sasang medicine is the pathology centering on man which is embodiment of ethical judgements.

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of family structure(parentral marital status and socioeconomic status), parental communication, academic problems, and peer relationship on juvenile delinquency. The participants were 1009 middle school and high school students in Seoul city and Gyeonggi Province. The major results were as follows: 1) Parental marital status(divorced/seperated) had both direct and indirect positive effects and lower class in socioeconomic status had an indirect positive effect on academic problems and peer relationship on juvenile delinquency rates. 2) Open maternal communication had a direct negative effect on juvenile delinquency rates. However, open paternal communication had both direct and indirect negative effects. 3) Academic problems had both direct and indirect positive effects on juvenile delinquency rates. 4) Peer relationship had a direct positive effect on juvenile delinquency rates. 5) The level of effects that each variable had differed by delinquency types. Based on these results, implications for preventing juvenile delinquency were discussed.
