RAPD test and the observation of morphological, cultural characteristics of fourteen selected entomogenous fungi were conducted to investigate the analysis of their internal relationships. Paecilomyces tenuipes showed snow flower form attached to numerous white conidiophores, produced globular and semi-egg types on the club types of phialides. Cordyceps militaris formed globosely conidiophores, dark yellow fruiting body on pupa. The phialide as on Acremonium-type in global conidiophores. Beauveria bassiana covered with conidia was not formed fruiting body and adhered conidia on conidiophore of zigzag type. The PDA and SDAY medium were confirmed as an optimum growth of them. P. tenuipes showed to velvet and plane types in several media whereas C. militaris was belong to centrally raised and floccose in the morphological type. In contrast, B. bassiana covered with conidia on velvet shape. The size of amplified products were analyzed by RAPD using URP primer and were from 100 bp to 2.0 kb with $10{\sim}14$ geuomic DNA. Total similarities of two groups were by dendrogram of UPGMA analysis. The homology of P. tenuipes groups was 94.8 to 100%. It also showed 70.1 to 96.6% in C. militaris group and B. bassiana was higher similarity than any other. The internal change of C. militaris, produced telemorph fruiting body, was higher seperated in species than P. tenuipes and B. bassiana in the RAPD.

The gametogenesis, reproductive cycle, frequency distribution of egg diameter and fecundity of spotted sea bass Lateolabrax maculatus were investigated by histological observation. The samples were collected at Goheung, Jeonam from December 1996 to November 1997. Gonadosomatic index (CSI) was appeared less than 1.0 in female and male from December to July and began to increase from August and reached the maximum values of female 7.50 and male 2.98 in October. Hepatosomatic index (HSI) was appeared annual maximum value of female 1.97 and male 1.64 in March and then decreased from April. The annual reproductive cycle of this species can be divided into four successive stages: growing stage (July to August), maturation stage (September to October), ripe and spawning stage (October to November) and degeneration and resting stage (November to July). According to the frequency distribution of egg diameter, the development mode of egg was not seperated, formed one mode for the maturation and spawning season, The individual absolute fecundity ranges from $1,726,242\~17,822,576$ eggs, and individual relative fecundity ranges from $29,458\~214,730$ eggs in total length (cm) and $938\~3,363$ eggs in body weight (g). Female and male of L. maculatus were matured when total length were over 50.1 and 45.1 cm, respectively.

In this study, the stone used for three storied pagoda of Bulguksa Temple, which is easy to access due to works for dismantle and restore will be analyzed on the basis of petrographic study, magnetic susceptibility, and ${\gamma}$-ray spectrometer, and identify petrographic characteristics. Also we will select candidate areas of fresh rock to change the stone used for three storied stone pagoda as from its provenance is presumed. According to the results of visual inspection, the stones used for the three storied stone pagoda are similar to the features of Namsan granite, which is distributed around Gyeongju-si, and when it comes to the section of the stupa finial, the features of all the parts from the stupa finial is similar to Namsan granite except for the section of Jeweled cover. On the other hand, the color, the composition, and the mineral size of the stones in the section from the part of jeweled cover are similar to Tohamsan granite. As a result of none-destruction inspection, it seems that the stones used for the three stories stone pagoda except for the section of jeweled cover are similar to the values for the magnetic susceptibility and the ${\gamma}$-ray spectrometer. On the other hand, Jeweled cover and the values of Tohamsan granite are alike. Namsan granite is appropriate in case that the stone used for three storied stone pagoda must be replaced to fresh rock because of damage by weathering. Meanwhile, Namsan granite is seperated from Yangsan fault. Due to this fact, Namsan granite appears to not only Mt. Namsan in Gyeongju, but also Dongcheon-dong, Gyeongju, and Huenggok-ri, Pohang. As a result, these two areas are suitable to the candidate area to change the stone used for three storied stone pagoda.

For reconstruction of the bony defect, various artificial substitutes were developed. Among them, there has been a study of calcium phosphate coated bone substitutes for increasing attachment of osteoblasts in vivo. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of serum and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on calcium phosphate coated culture plate for the initial attachment, proliferation and activity of osteoblasts. After sampling the blood from white rats and concentrating by centrifugation, the amount of attachment of PDGF-BB and $TGF-{\beta}$ on the calcium phosphate coated culture plate was measured. Cultured HOS and ROS 17/2.8 cell was measured on attachment level and proliferation rate of osteoblasts. Alkaline phosphatase activity of HOS and ROS 17/2.8 cell was measured for studying on the activating rate of osteoblast. 1. Counting the amount of platelets of seperated plasma and PRP, the average number of platelets was 177,003 $cell/{\mu}l$ in plasma, and 1,656,062 $cell/{\mu}l$ in PRP, which was about 9 times as high as in plasma. 2. Amount of PDGF-BB deposited at calcium phosphate coated plate had increased by the total amount of plasma and PRP on the culture plate, whereas $TGF-{\beta}$had been deposited on the plate only when treated by $50{\mu}{\ell}$ of PRP(p<0.01). 3. After plating serum and PRP for 3 hours, we attached with HOS and ROS17/2.8 cell for 1 hour and 4 hours. There were no significant difference of the attachment between serum and control group, whereas there were significantly difference of the attachment between depositioning of PRP and control group. 4. After attaching plasma and PRP for 3 hours, cell number has much increased when HOS and ROS17/2.8 cell had been cultured for 48 hours(p<0.05). 5. After attaching plasma and PRP for 3 hours, concentration of alkaline-phosphatase has increased when HOS and ROS17/2.8 cell had been cultured for 48 hours(p<0.01). These results suggested that PRP affected on initial cell attachment rather than proliferation and activation of osteoblasts at calcium phosphate coated plate.

The solvent extraction of trace Bi, Cd and In in seawater samples using ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate(APDC) as a complexing agent was studied. The pH of sample solution, the amount of APDC, the type of solvent and the shaking time were investigated together with back-extraction conditions. After the pH of 200 mL seawater was adjusted to 4.0 and 5.0 mL of 1% APDC was added, analytes were extracted with 10.0 mL of MIBK by shaking for 35 minutes. The organic phase seperated was washed with a 0.05 M NaOH 10.0 mL to remove HPDC. The analytes were stripped by the back-extraction of 5 minute shaking with 5 mL of 4 M HNO3 containing 150 ㎍/mL Pd(Ⅱ). Detection limits of Bi, Cd and In were 0.038, 0.0057 and 0.023 ng/mL, respectively. Both of Bi(Ⅲ) and In(Ⅲ) were not detected in two kinds of water samples of the East Sea and the contents of Cd(Ⅱ) were 0.018 and 0.016 ng/mL. The recoveries of over 90% showed that this procedure was applicable to the determination of such trace elements in seawater samples.

Dentinogenesis imperfecta is an example of an inheritable dentinal defect originating during the histodifferentiation stage of tooth development, with involvement of the primary and permanent teeth. Shields, Bixler and El-Kafrawy proposed three types of Dentinogenesis imperfecta : Type I, II, III. Witkop reported a prevalence of 1 in 8000 with the trait, and no significant difference between male and female. Affected teeth have red-brown discoloration often with distinctive wearness of occlusal surface of posterior teeth and incisal surface of anterior teeth. Once enamel seperated from underlying defective dentin, the dentin demonstrates significantly acclerated attrision. Radiographically, the teeth have thin roots, bulbous crown, cervical constriction, and obliteration of the root canals and pulp chambers. In primary dentition periapical lesions or multiple root fractures are often observed. In successive generations the phenotypes of discoloration and wearness of teeth occurred, and one of the patient's subships, 10 year-old sister, showed general discoloration of her teeth and mild wearness. In this case, a 4 year-old male reported to the Yonsei University Pedodontics clinic, with a chief complaint of discolored teeth. The teeth showed generally yellowish-brown discoloration and moderate wearness. In radiographic features, obliteration of pulp, bulbous crown, and short roots were observed. It was diagnosed as Dentinogenesis imperfecta. The posterior teeth were restored with Stainless Steel Crown, and defective incisors including left upper primary central incisor which was extracted due to a root fracture with Open-faced Stainless Steel crown.

In order to achieve the object of the study, The research structure is following. 1) analyzing a movement path of the LCL cargo occurring in Pan Yellow-Sea. 2) analyzing the problems to handle LCL cargoes in Pyeongtaek Port. The basic data for analyzing the movement path of LCL Cargoes utilize the data of the Customs Service. and the problems of LCL freight handled suggested from forwarder, carferry liners, and bonded warehouse companies by interview. In this study, We use Fuzzy-AHP as the methodology to analyze the importance of attracting major improvement for LCL shipments in Pyeongtaek Port. As the result, The expansion of inspection equipment and personnel was presented as the most important improvement too solve the clearance problems that is the most serious problems in Pyeongtaek Port. and The realization of incentive payments that local government pay for Profitability of related companies are needed.

The compositional characteristics of polar lipids in the brown and polished adlay were studied. Total lipids of brown and polished adlay were extracted, purified and fractionated into neutral and polar lipids by silicic acid column chromatography. The glycolipid(GL) and phospholipid(PL) of polar lipids were seperated by thin layer chromatography and quantitated by scanner. The fatty acid composition in polar lipids were determined by gas chromatographr. The contents of GL and PL in brown adlay were 5.67% and 1.83%, and their contents on polished adlay were 5.49% and 1.78%, respectively. Of the GL in the brown and polished adlay, monogalactosyl diglycerides+esterified steryl glycosides and digalactosyl diglycerides were the major components, but cerebrosides+steryl glycosides were also found as the minor component of GLs. Of the PLs, phosphatidyl choline and phosphatidyl ethanolamine were the major components. Phosphatidyl inositol, lysophosphatidyl choline and phosphatidyl serine were also present in the PLs. The major fatty acids of GLs were linoleic, oleic and palmitic acids. The fatty acid composition in the PLs were similar to the pattern in the GLs, but PLs contained the lower percentage of linoleic acids than the GLs.
In order to improve the solids and protein concentration and their yields in sea mustard extracts, HCl, sucrose, NaCl, EDTA, and SHMP were added during aqueous extraction and studied their effects on quality characteristics of the extracts. The extracts were prepared by 2 hours of boiling of ground sea mustard and centrifugation. Addition of HCl at $0.1{\sim}0.5N$ level was found that the solids and protein yields was significantly improved along with the ratio of supernatant seperated. The maximum solids and protein yields obtained were 52.48%, 36.73%, respectively, while those values of the aqueous extract without HCl were 23.20%, and 4.87%. Viscosity was reduced from 450 cps to less than 20 cps by HCl addition. When NaCl, sucrose, SHMP, and $Na_2EDTA$ were added in the concentration of range of $0.5{\sim}3.0%$, solid concentration and yields were also significantly improved by the order of $Na_2EDTA-SHMP-sucrose-NaCl$ in their effect. The highest solid yield of 55.0% was obtained from 3% addition of $Na_2EDTA$. Viscosity and turbidity were also reduced by addition of SHMP and $Na_2EDTA$.

Mulberry fruit is common to keep a frozen storage because of the very high water content. Because freezing-storing cost is generated before the processing or sales, farmers of mulberry fruit production are weighted in financial burden. In addition, mulberry fruit has difficulty in expanding consumption by made in the simple processed products like the mulberry jam, mulberry juice, mulberry enzyme, alcohol, etc. Recent, frozen fruits including frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, frozen mango, frozen rich, frozen mulberry fruit has been started to sell in the large discount stores and convenience stores. However, there is restricted sales in only special place that have the frozen distribution facilities. So, for the income improvement and consumption promotion of mulberry farmers facing these difficult situations, we developed the processing method of semi-dried mulberry fruit using the vacuum freezing dryer. The frozen mulberry fruit which was stored below $-40^{\circ}C$ is to dry in a vacuum freeze dryer, at $30{\sim}35^{\circ}C$, 23 ~ 24 hours. Semi-dried mulberry fruit seperated respectively. It had soft texture, and maintained shape, size and flavor. In particular, semi-dried mulberry fruit can be stored at room temperature.
