최근 영화나 드라마 같은 미디어 데어터가 폭발적으로 증가하면서, 다양한 언어로 번역된 자막 데이터도 증가하고 있다. 이러한 자막은 대부분 화면 하단이나 우측에 위치가 고정되어 나타내는 방식을 취하고 있다. 그러나 이 방식에는 몇 가지 한계점을 가지고 있다. 자막과 등장인물의 얼굴이 거리가 먼 경우, 시청자의 시선이 분산되어 영상에 집중하기 어렵다는 점과 청각장애를 가진 사람의 경우 자막만으로는 누가 말하고 있는 대사인지 혼동이 온다는 점이다. 본 논문에서는 만화에서 대사를 전달하기 위해 사용하던 말풍선을 동영상의 자막을 나타내는데 사용하는 새로운 자막 시스템을 제안한다. 말풍선을 사용하면 말꼬리로 화자의 위치를 가리키고, 시청자의 시선을 화자의 얼굴 근처에 집중시킴으로써 기존 자막이 갖는 한계점을 개선시킬 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과물을 검증하기 위해 사용자 평가를 실시했고, 기존의 자막 방식에 비해 시선의 안정성과 흥미성, 정확도에서 더 낫다는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

본 논문에서는 프레임 블록화와 Otsu 임계값 설정 방법을 이용한 샷 전환 탐지 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 연속된 두 프레임을 일정 크기의 영역으로 분할하여 두 프레임 간 대응되는 영역의 히스토그램 차이를 이용해 샷 전환을 탐지한다. 또한 각 영상마다 Otsu 임계값 설정 방법을 이용하여 자동으로 임계값을 설정한다. 제안 방법의 실험은 영화, 드라마, 애니메이션 등 다양한 영상에 대해 테스트되었으며, 기 연구된 샷 전환 탐지 알고리즘과 비교 시 우수한 탐지율을 보였다.

The Korean wave contents such as Korean TV dramas and K-pop are sweeping over foreign countries. This Korean wave has improved positive national brand image and also brought up interest across Korean culture. Due to expansion of Korean wave, some Korean education contents started to be made by using Korean wave contents. These kinds of Korean educational online contents induce interest in studying Korean by using Korean wave contents. Furthermore, people can indirectly experience Korean culture. so we need to come up with more effective application plan. However, contents which has produced currently still have insufficient part. Based on that, current state of Korean education online contents by using Korean wave contents will analyze into especially a series of 'Pit-A-Pat Korean' from Nuri-Sejong school need to be proposed a review of the limitations and improvement conclusion in this paper. The K-drama produced by effectively utilizing the planning and the Korean educational content. This will reveal to the culture and traditions of Korea, as well as a simple information transfer. So we expect to be a valuable activity that is responsible for a stem to improve the country's image as one item K-culture itself.

This paper deals with the relationship between cultural factor and economic factor in the spread of Hallyu(Korean Wave). To do so, the paper defines the traditional Hallyu items, drama and K-Pop, as 'cultural Hallyu' and other Popular industrial products such as electronics and mobile products as 'business Hallyu'. Based on this definition, the paper analyzes the relationship between the two Hallyu's in Thailand. The analysis has been conducted as follows. First, the paper describes the history of 'cultural Hallyu' and 'business Hallyu' in Thailand by reviewing their introduction and current situations in Thailand market. Secondly, using various aggregate data, the paper analyzes the causality of the two Hallyu's, focusing on the period of their Popularity and growth in Thailand. In addition to the macro-level analysis, the paper researched individual opinions of Thai people about the influence of Hallyu on the success of Korean companies, as well as about the influence of the Korean business companies on the success of Hallyu. This analysis has been conducted using the results of focus group discussion(FGD) of 17 Bangkok people. In both macro and individual level analyses, we found that the 'cultrual Hallyu' has influenced on the success of the 'business Hallyu' rather than vice versa. For further research, it is necessary to analyze the reciprocal influences and synergy effects between the 'cultural Hallyu' and 'business Hallyu'.

The main concern of the study is the playwrights' perspectives toward the relationship between society and individuals rather than specific cultural or social circumstances. This study is justified in that the similarities of both playwrights not only provide an opportunity to bridge two different cultures, but they also help readers understand another culture and deepen the understanding of their own culture in the map of international literature. In their plays, both Miller and Cha express an individual's or a family's frustration, conflict, pleasure, and hope as reflected in the social circumstances. The characters take ideas and values from their social world and thrive or fail. Specifically, I have focused on three elements--obsession, generational value systems, and alienation. With three common features, I examine how closely Miller and Cha deal with ordinary people's tragedies.

과거 드라마로 인기를 끌었던 전격 Z 작전에서 키트는 우리에게 자율주행 자동차라는 환상을 심어주었다. 이러한 자율주행 자동차가 이제는 꿈이 아닌 현실로 다가오고 있다. 자율주행 자동차에 대한 정의를 내려보면 운전자의 개입 없이 주변환경을 인식하고, 주행 상황을 판단하여, 차량을 제어함으로써 스스로 주어진 목적지까지 주행하는 자동차를 말한다. 이러한 자율주행 자동차는 교통사고를 줄이고 교통 효율성을 높이며 연료를 절감하고 운전을 대신해줌으로써, 편의를 증대시킬 수 있는 미래 개인 교통수단이 될 것으로 기대된다. 본고에서는 자율주행 자동차의 기술 구성 요소와 관련된 기술 개발 동향에 대해서 기술하고, 자율주행 자동차가 실제 적용되기 위해 필요한 법적인 문제와 향후 전망에 대해서 살펴본다.

뮤지컬 문화공연 시장 규모의 확대로 인해 다양한 뮤지컬 작품을 관객들은 원하고 있으며, 이에 뮤지컬 문화공연 콘텐츠의 OSMU의 활용이 중요하다. 이러한 활용방안으로 첫째, 뮤지컬 문화공연 콘텐츠는 역사, 설화, 문학, 국악, 영상(드라마), 영화, 무용, 댄스 등의 다양한 소스(작품)들의 상호 조합으로 새로운 멀티 유즈로의 활용이다. 따라서 뮤지컬의 문화공연 콘텐츠의 OSMU의 활용을 위해서는 다양한 뮤지컬 소재의 발굴과 함께 문화공연 작품의 창작 활동이 중요한 것으로 생각된다. 둘째, 이미 작품화 된 뮤지컬 문화공연 콘텐츠는 다양한 부가가치 가지므로 공연 관련 상품을 가공, 판매를 하는 OSMU로의 활용이다. 이에 공연 기획 단계에서부터 부가 상품 판매에 대한 체계적인 마케팅 전략을 별도로 수립, 티켓 판매만이 아닌 다양한 부가 상품 개발을 통해 뮤지컬 문화공연 콘텐츠를 다양한 상품의 형태로 재 판매하는 OSMU 활용 방안이 필요하다.

방송유통이 중요하고 방송시장의 과제이다. 드라마외에도 다큐멘터리가 꾸준히 수출이 증가되는 추세이다. 콘텐츠 부가가치 창출과 고용확산을 위해 방송사와 제작사는 국내외 유통에 눈을 돌려야 하는 게 맞다. 여기서 흔한 질문 하나. "독립제작사가 어렵다고 하는 데, 수출 유통을 하면 쉽게 부가수익을 창출하지 않을까? 왜 안하지?" 그건 배고픈데 빵이 없으면 쿠키를 대신 먹으면 되지 않을 까하는 질문과 같다. 저작권을 방송사와 소유하는 것도 중요하고, 그 보다 사전기획과 제작을 해서, 수입이 생길때까지 회사가 '버텨내야 한다'. 유통한다고 수익이 바로 입금되는 것은 아니다. 한국의 방송콘텐츠 기획은 훌륭하다. 인구 5천만명의 나라에서, 한국어를 쓰는 나라가 많지 않음에도 우리 모국어로 많은 나라에서 보고있다는 것은 대단한 것이다. 또한 세계 거리에 싸이와 소녀시대가 울려퍼지는 것은 대단하다. 그것은 미디어를 염두 해둔 한글창제자부터, 대중산업을 이끄는 모든 한국 제작자들은 훌륭하다. 지금은 방송사와 제작사가 해외진출에 눈을 돌리고 있으며, 많은 성과를 내고 있다. 향 후 방송콘텐츠산업의 부가가치 향상과 발전을 위해서 좀더 많은 작품이 해외에 나가야 한다. 그렇게 하기위해서 해외에 더욱 적극적으로 진출을 모색하기 앞서, 글로벌 기획을 할 때 염두하여야 할 점을 정리해보겠다.

This study examined the storytelling characteristics of the super-compressed web drama "72 seconds". By analyzing all seasonal episodes of "72 seconds" and applying the various storytelling methodologies and related theories, this paper derived the main storytelling characteristics of "72 seconds" as follows. First, through the composition of the microscopic non-plot, the story value of empathy and fun is maximized, even though there is no dramatic composition compared to the general movie or drama. Second, by the specialization of everyday life, it leads to the transition from everyday experience to the new context. In other words, it provides a consensus through the cognitive expansion and interest by unfamiliarity of the ordinary experience to the audience. Third, based on the characteristics of super-compression and short theme, it utilizes fully stylistic narration like rapping. This makes the audience feel novel and further enhances the branding effect of content. And finally, based on various hybridity and variation, it uses remediation actively in all respects, especially comedy genre and comic factor.

본 논문에서는 MPEG 압축 비디오 상에서 얼굴 영역을 추출하고 이를 인식하는 방법에 대하여 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 크게 MPEG 압축 비디오의 처리를 위한 축소된 DC 영상의 구성 단계, 축소된 DC 영상에서의 얼굴 영역 추출 단계, 그리고 얼굴 영역이 추출된 프레임에 대한 압축 복원 및 얼굴 인식의 3단계로 구성되어있다. DC 영상의 구성 단계에서는 압축 복원 없이 DCT 계수의 DC 값과 2개의 AC 값만을 사용하여 부분적인 2차원 역 DCT 변환을 이용한 방법을 사용하였으며, 얼굴 영역 추출 단계에서는 DC 영상에 대해 얼굴의 색상 및 형태 정보를 이용한 얼굴 후보 영역 추출 방법과 K-L 변환 및 역 변환의 오차에 의한 얼굴 영역 추출 방법을 사용하였다. 얼굴 인식 단계에서는 얼굴 영역이 추출된 프레임에 대하여 GOP 단위의 압축 복원을 수행한 후 고유 얼굴 영상을 이용한 방법으로 얼굴 인식을 수행하였다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 뉴스와 드라마 MPEG 비디오를 대상으로 실험을 수행하였으며, 실험 결과 제안된 방법이 효율적임을 알 수 있었다.
