소비자 가치와 스포츠웨어 추구혜택 및 속성평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Consumer's Value, Sportswear's Benefit Sought and Attribute Evaluation)

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate the relationships between consumer's value and sportswear's benefit sought/attribute evaluation, and to examine how sportswear's benefit sought were influenced by consumers' value and demographic variables. Subjects were 468 males and females in their teens to 30's in Seoul. Consumer's value was classified into four dimensions by using factors analysis: materialism, achievement orientation, traditionalism, and other consciousness. The value of materialism and achievement orientation had positive relations with brand orientation, fashion, appearance attraction, enterprise image, and brand advertisement of sportswear in both male and female. Achievement orientation had, in case of the male, positive relations with economics, practicality, fabrics, and quality of sportswear. In case of the female, traditionalism had positive relations with economics and practicality, and other consciousness value had positive relations with brand advertisement. Materialism was the most important in predicting brand orientation, followed by social class in both male and female. Age was the most important in predicting practicality, followed by achievement orientation in case of the male. Materialism(-) was, in case of the female, the most important in predicting practicality, followed by traditionalism, achievement orientation, and age.

취학 전 자녀에 대한 부모의 유아복 소비가치에 관한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on the Consumption Value of Preschooler Clothing by Mothers)

  • Due to the growth of the preschooler clothing industry, significant research has been conducted on the pursued benefits, purchase behavior, and purchase intension related to preschooler clothing; however, reports on the consumption value of preschooler clothing remain limited. This study provides a consumption value for preschooler clothing through qualitative research. A total of 15 mothers of preschoolers aged 1-6 years old were interviewed on the consumption value of preschooler clothing. The subsequent consumption value of preschooler clothing consisted of 9 major factors (vicarious satisfaction value, social display/image value, safety value, convenient value, economic value, distinguishable value, expressive-aesthetic value, fashionable value and conditional value). In addition, the vicarious satisfaction value, social display/image value, safety value, and convenient value were new-expressed values that differed from previous reports on the consumption value of adult clothing.

옴니채널 특성이 소비자들의 지각된 가치와 태도 및 이용의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Omni Channel Characteristics on Perceived Value, Attitude, and Intention of Consumers)

  • This study investigated the characteristics of Omni Channel and examined the influence of them on consumers' perceived functional value and emotional value as well as the effect of perceived functional value and emotional value on user's intention of use through Omni Channel. To verify the research model, the questionnaire survey was conducted on 20's to 40's men and women residing in Seoul and the metropolitan area by convenience sampling. The number of copies used for data analysis was 696. To verify the research model, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and structural equation model analysis were performed using AMOS 20.0. First, Omni Channel characteristics consisted of four factors: instant connectivity, location-based provability, interactivity, and entertainment. Second, the instant connectivity, location-based provability and entertainment positively influenced functional value and emotional value; however, the interactivity was significant only to the emotional value. Third, consumers' perceived value of Omni Channel characteristics had a significant effect on attitude. Fourth, the more favorable the attitude toward Omni Channel is higher for the intention to use Omni Channel.

Relationship of Parenting Style and Perceived Value of Characterized Children's Fashion Products

  • In the children's market, characters are applied to products to stimulate children to buy a product directly or to implore their parents to buy it for them. To sell characterized products, marketers consider both parents and children. This research was designed to identify which parenting style factors affect the evaluation of characterized children's fashion products and to test how parenting style affects the evaluation of value importance of characterized children's fashion products. The parenting style factors studied were first categorized as communication, children's social acceptance, educational involvement, and media exposure. Responses from 259 parents residing in Woodbury, MN, and Ellicott City, MD, were used for data analysis. A factor analysis and canonical correlation analysis were conducted. Parents with high "Susceptibility to child peer pressure" attached importance to "Social Value" when buying characterized products. On the other hand, parents who were highly involved in their child's life and frequently intervened in their "Child's TV-viewing" attached importance to educational value. Educational value was a unique contributor to the evaluation of characterized products as compared to other fashion products. Marketers can therefore leverage both the social and educational value of characterized products.

남녀 대학생의 가치관에 따른 의복행동 및 의복구매행동 연구 (A Study on Clothing Behavior and Clothing Purchasing Behavior based on Value of University Students)

  • This study was intended to examine factor structure of value and clothing behavior and the effects of value on clothing behavior, to investigate clothing behavior and clothing purchasing behavior of the groups segmented by the value factors and the difference of those between male group and female group and to provide useful information for establishment of marketing strategies. The subjects were 575 university students. A total of 575 questionnaires was analyzed with factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, ${\chi}^2-test$, regression analysis, and correlation analysis. The results were as follows: 1. Value was composed of 2 factors: personal orientation value and social orientation value. Clothing behavior were composed of 9 factors: interest, fashion, statue symbol, individuality, psychological dependence, comfort, aesthetic sense, economical efficiency, and social approval. 2. Clothing behavior and clothing purchasing behavior were significantly different among 3 groups segmented by 2 value factors. 3. The effects of value on clothing behavior was significantly different. 4. The effects of value on clothing behavior, clothing behavior and clothing purchasing behavior between male group and female group were different.

쪽 色素에 의한 絹纖維 染色에 관한 硏究 -발효 염색에 대하여- (A Study on the Silk Dyeing With Natural indigo Extracted from Polygoum tinctorium -On the fermentation dyeing-)

  • Colorants were prepared by extraction of natural indigo which was harvested just in the blooming season(in the late of July). 100 g of fresh leaves soaking in 1 ιwater was kept at 3$0^{\circ}C$, 30 hours. A solution of 3g/l calcium hydroxide was added into it to precipitate dye substance and it was freezing-dried into powder form. The fermentation and dyeing conditions were investigated. The results obtained are summarized as follows; K/S value of dyed silk fabrics of fermentation conditions was higher at 95$^{\circ}C$ for 20 min. than at 4$0^{\circ}C$ for 20 hours. Furthermore, K/S value of dyed silk fabric was raised by the addition of 5g/l of glucose and 5g/l of NaOH. K/S value of dyed silk fabric was raised by the addition of 5g/l of glucose and 5g/l of NaOH. K/S value increased as extending of dyeing time when dyed till 2 hours at 3$0^{\circ}C$. K/S value decreased in order of 3$0^{\circ}C$, 4$0^{\circ}C$ and 5$0^{\circ}C$, at the various dyeing temperatures and dyeing concentrations, and colour fastness ranged from 4 to 5 grade in terms of washing, perspiration and light fastness.

나르시시즘성향에 따른 소비자유형과 의류제품 및 화장품 소비가치 (Consumers' Type According to Narcissistic Orientation and Consumption Value of Apparel Products and Cosmetics)

  • The primary purposes of this study were to classify consumer's type according to narcissistic orientation of consumer and then to reveal consumer's perception differences on consumption value of apparel products and cosmetics subject to the types. Data were collected from 194 female college students in Ulsan. It was analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis and MANOVA, ANOVA using SPSS Win 12.0. The results were as follows: First, consumer's types classified according to narcissistic orientation were non-narcissist, high-narcissist, leadership and self-absorption. Second, in the consumption value of apparel products case, there were significant differences in effective value, symbolic value and sensitive value among the types. Third, in the consumption value of cosmetics case, there were significant differences in sensitive value and effective value among the types.

소비가치와 경험적 제품평가가 희소성 메시지 효과에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of the Consumers Value and Experience Quality on the Effects of Scarcity Message Types)

  • The major aim of this study was to find out that the relation between consumers value and experience quality toward purchase intention in addition to the influence of the consumers value and experience quality on the effects of scarcity message types collaboration using limited edition in global SPA brand. As a result of an empirical analysis, it shows that consumers value and experience quality are co-related to the intention of purchase, especially, brand familiarity and reputation influenced scarcity valuation in the affirmative and both emotional value and epistemic value influenced the intention of purchase under scarcity message. The moderating effect of consumers value and experience quality however, turns out to be not significant although its effect is directionally supported that is purchase intention was high when scarcity message is shown. Moreover, emotional epistemic group was influenced by scarcity message so we found that consumers value is changed to emotional with subjective. This result indicates that we need the scarcity message type reflecting the characteristics of consumers value and experience quality to increase customer's purchase intention.

정보통신산업(ICT)의 글로벌 가치사슬구조분석 (Global Value Chain Structure Analysis for ICT Industry)

  • This study describes the accounting approach of separating the value chain components that occur between the origin and destination of a country's total exports, and applied this analysis to the nation's information and communication industry. As a result of this study, the analysis results of ICT's global value chain for the United States and China, focusing on Korea, are as follows: First of all, the value added standard was relatively lower than the export amount standard for the information and communication industry. In particular, the gap was starkly visible in the information and communication manufacturing sector, where global vertical specialization was developed relatively. As a representative sector, the computer-related equipment sector exported to China became more specialized vertically than other information and communication industries. Next, the method of participating in vertical specialization of Korea's information and communication sector and its relative position in the global value chain came from domestic products (0.25/35.16) whose total exports, which were double calculated in the case of the U.S. market, returned home. On the other hand, about 32.68 percent returned to the Chinese market. Finally, in the global value chain level, the SW sector occupied a medium vertical culture location for the information and communication equipment sector and the information and communication service sector.

  • Companies must capture value for sustainable growth. Capturing value is a critical task for companies, particularly when operating own businesses and organizations or starting new business. The business strategy of many companies focuses on capturing the maximum value from customers and other stakeholders. Even though a wide range of studies on value creation and appropriation has been conducted in the strategic management field, most of studies are still conceptual and theoretical. Thus more empirical studies are required to suggest future-oriented value strategy. This study reveals the value creation and appropriation elements in the aviation industry of Korea. The purpose of this study is to understand the trend of value creation and appropriation in the industry. In addition, the relationship between the elements and firm's performance are tested. The firm's performance is defined by that past and future point of views. The sample were collected from Korean Air and Asiana Air. The empirical test shows that the elements of value creation-appropriation have significant impact on firm's performance. Further, the element of value appropriation to customer has a positive impact both on firm's past and future performance. Our results show that investors acknowledge a value-based strategy as a sign of stock valuation. The results of this test correspond with the earlier one, showing that maximizing customers value rather than shareholder value does deliver impressive returns. The finding suggest that companies need to change their strategy to efficiently manage performance. With the test results, we propose a value-based strategy to maximize firm's future financial and stock performance.
