작업장에서 사용 가능한 방독마스크 정화통 교체주기 프로그램의 개발(I) - 폐정화통을 이용한 파과시간 예측 실험 (Development of exchange period program for chemical cartridge feasible in the work spot (1) - Experiment of estimated breakthrough time using discarded cartridges)

  • Many researches for service-life of chemical cartridges of respirators have been performed in many countries. On the result of these researches a few softwares programs were eventually developed to be used. In spite of that, it is difficult to apply these researches and softwares practically in the work spot because of too many factors that influence on service-life of chemical cartridges. This study was the first of two conducted for the purpose of developing program for estimating exchange period or service-life of chemical cartridges available feasibly in the workplaces. Collecting plan of cartridges discarded after use is in principle that three cartridges from three workers at a time, three steps of 1/2 exchange time due to smelling, just routine exchange time and 1.2 to 1.3 expanded time of routine exchange, total nine cartridges are collected in the same job site. 33 cartridges for organic vapor were collected in paint spray process of ship yard and paint factory, and 6 cartridges for acid were collected in plating process. These cartridges were analysed the remaining breakthrough time in 3M Innovation Center. Challenge vapor and breakthrough concentration were complied with Korean regulation for chemical cartridge respirators. Estimated breakthrough time was determined from previously used time plus breakthrough time for the remaining. Exchange period of cartridge would be the shortest time among three estimated breakthrough times. On the result breakthrough time for organic vapor was found to be relatively easily estimated, but that for acid aerosol or vapor was difficult to be confident. Even though this method was difficult to be precisely predicted exchange period of cartridge, it could be an alternative program practically available in the job site.

  • Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it seems to have been impossible to run offline training courses. To overcome this situation, online training courses has been emerged. Just moving the educational environment from offline to online instead of re-designing the curriculum, however, is not effective for trainees. To maximize educational effectiveness, it is necessary to re-design the curriculum based on constructivist appoach which gives trainees experience on skills and knowledge about their job. As for re-designing the curriculum into real-time online practical learning based on constructivism, learning satisfaction and work efficacy of trainees may have been increased. From these results, HRD professionals in an IT company should need to consider how to structure the curriculum when they design the real-time online practical learnings.

범용 위험도 평가서를 이용한 조선업체 작업에서의 누적외상성질환에 대한 인간공학적 분석 (An Application of a Baseline Checklist for Risk Assessment of Cumulative Trauma Disorders in Shipyard Workers)

  • Cumulative trauma disorders(CTDs) have been a growing problems for US and European industries with higher incidence rate every year. The increase and their associated costs has led companies to form committes and implement programs to address this problem. In our country, we have just started to recognize and to work on the problems in industry. This study conducted an ergonomic analysis for typical jobs of ship building industry which was not usually surveyed for CTD problem. A baseline CTD checklist which was supposed to do a risk assessment was developed and applied in this study. Initially, we considered five major parts in the checklist which consisted of personal, frequency, posture, force, and miscellaneous information. Most jobs in ship building industry were much different from typical assembly work and VDT work that have been major part of the previous CTD studies. Specifically, job characteristics in terms of frequency and posture were quite different. There were relatively long cycle time, awkward postures for whole body (not just for upper extremities). Also, CTD risk scores based on checklist were a lot higher than the scores for VDT jobs which was a case of preceding application of the checklist. Specifically, grinding jobs turned out to be the most risky one in terms of CTDs. In conclusion, usual CTD prevention guidelines are not likely to he effective in this type of industry. An individual job based interventions are strongly suggested to have a good control of CTD problems in ship building industry.

웰에이징 : 노년의 삶에 대한 여헌 장현광의 성찰 (Well-Aging: the Yeoheon Jang Hyun Kwang's meditation on the old age)

  • 조선시대 유학자였던 여헌 장현광은 '노인' 혹은 '노년의 삶'을 학술적 영역으로 끌어들여 '주제화'화고, 그러한 노년시기에 노인은 자신이 수행해야 할 사업이 있다고 본다. 그것이 '노인사업'이다. 노인이 삶에 대한 주체적 자각을 통해 자신의 책무를 수행해 가는 과정은 '삶으로서 자기완성의 시간'이라고 할 수 있다. 그 시기가 바로 노년의 시기이다. 필자는 장현광이 제안하고 있는 것처럼 노인이 자신의 직분을 수행해 가는 노년을 '삶으로서의 자기완성의 시기'로 보며, 이 과정적 시간을 '웰에이징'으로 파악한다. '웰에이징'은 '자기완성을 위한 존엄한 노년'인 것이다. 웰에이징은 단순히 안티웨이징(anti-aging)과 같이 육체적 노화 혹은 늙어감에 대한 거부가 아니라 늙어가는 것 그 자체를 수용하면서 노년의 시기를 긍정적인 자기 변화의 시간으로 받아들이려는 삶의 양식과 태도이다. 장현광의 물음은 한 마디로 압축된다. 곧 "노년의 시기에 인간으로서의 '노인'은 무엇을 할 수 있을 것인가?"이다. 장현광은 노년기는 생물학적으로 '황혼기'에 들어섰지만, 그러나 '의지적인 존재로서 인간의 사명'이 아직은 남아 있다고 본다. 그것을 장현광은 노인사업이라 하고, 그 사업을 통해 '도를 보존할 것(存道)'을 제안한다. 장현광이 제기하는 것처럼 노년기는 담담히 자신을 완성해가는 과정이자, '노인으로서의 개인'이 '자기 존재감'을 유지해야 한다. '활동적인 노년'(active aging)을 통해 '누적된 경험적 지혜'를 활용함으로써 '노인에 의한 사회적 기여'도 가능하게 된다. 이러할 때, '노인'은 '고령화시대의 노년기'를 보내는 존재가 아니라 '인간으로서의 노년기'를 보낼 수 있게 된다. 자신을 완성해 나아가는 존엄한 인간으로서 노인의 시간을 맞이하게 된다. 장현광이 '노인사업'이라고 하는 철학적 성찰을 통해 우리에게 제시하고 있는 것은 바로 노년이란 '존엄한 존재'로서의 자신에 대한 재발견이자 자기 실현의 시기라는 점을 재확인해주고 있다는 점이다.

Teachers' Needs and Implications to Design of an Electronic Performance Support System(EPSS)

  • Technology use can dramatically enhance teachers' performance in teaching and administrative tasks. An Electronic Performance Support System (EPSS) is a versatile tool that could provide just-in-time and on-the-job training when teachers need it. In order to design an effective EPSS for teachers, it is critical to identify their needs. This study used interviews to identify teachers' needs for technology by asking them about their workloads, the difficulty and time demands of tasks, and useful technologies. The implications of the findings for the design of an EPSS are discussed, including the necessity of an adaptive design of the EPSS.

반도체 검사 장비를 위한 지능형 전자 성능 지원 시스템 (An Intelligent Electronic Performance Support System for Semiconductor Testing Equipment)

  • 본 논문은 HELPS라는 반도체 검사 장비를 위한 전자성능지원시스템(Electronic Performance Support System)에 대하여 기술한다. 본 시스템의 목적은 운영 지원, 훈련, 지식 기반 고장 진단 및 수리를 위한 just-in time. on-the-job 멀티미디어에 기반을 둔 정보를 제공함으로써 오퍼레이터의 생산성을 향상시키는데 있다. HELPS는 운영 모듈과 고장 진단 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 운영 모듈은 사용자에게 장비에 관한 자세하고 쉽게 접근이 가능한 정보를 제공하기 위하여 멀티미디어와 하이퍼미디어를 사용한다. 멀티미디어는 정지 화상, 동화상, 에니메이션, 텍스트, 그래픽, 오디오를 포함하는 다매체 형식을 통합한다. 하이 퍼미디어는 계층적인 정보 구조를 통하여 숙련된 오퍼레이터에게는 작업을 수행하는데 필요한 특정한 정보만을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 초보 오퍼레이터에게는 자세한 시스템 안내와 정보를 제공한다. 고장 진단 모듈은 오퍼레이터가 장비의 고장을 진단하고 수리하는 것을 자원하기 위하여 전문가 시스템과 멀티미디어를 통합하여 구성하였다. 전문가 시스템을 사용하여 진단한 다음, 멀티미디어에 의한 어드바이스가 텍스트를 포함한 정지 화상이나 음성을 포함한 동화상에 의해 제시된다. HELPS는 훈련 시간과 고장 진단 및 수리 시간의 측면에서 평가되었고, 본 시스템 사용 전에 비하여 약 30%이상의 시간을 절감함으로써 생산성 향상에 크게 도움이 된다는 것을 확인하였다. 앞으로 본 시스템은 ICAI와 가상현실 기법 등을 이용하여 확장된다면 더 많은 생산성 향상을 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Applying JIT(Just-In-Time) production system to strength competitiveness power and renovate managent has problems. This study is proposed to solve one of the problems, that mother company has different production system with subcontractor, in order to connect production system of mother company with subcontractor. In the view of the Pull System, production system of mother company, it is possible that the more smoothed production planning is established by developing the algorithm the smoothed production planning preserving the LOTproduction system and comparing the existing research. Also, in the view of subcontractor taking Push System, the possibility of keeping delivery and improving productivity is proved using simulation technique by changing Job shop to GT Cell production system because demand is fluctuating.

  • 현재 기존 철송 시스템에 있어서 문제점인 출발지와 목적지 사이 발생하는 복잡한 작업 프로세스(job process)를 간소화하여 철송 운임비감소와 물류운송의 체계 개선 및 활성화에 기여할 수 있는 시스템으로 DMT(Dual Mode Trailer) 시스템을 들 수 있다. 이에 본 기술의 국내적용 및 개발을 위해 기술동향 조사 및 국내 적용시 고려사항, 국내 적용 접합 모델 도출 등 그 기술성을 분석하였다.

  • Just as costumes reflect the spirit of the time, hair styles echo the social changes and even facilitate them, being used as a means of communication. In short, hair styles reflect the cultural life of the time dynamically. In our modern times, fashion is moving very fast, and such a phenomenon is more conspicuous in hair styles. While individuals are eager to pursue their own individuality, hair styles play a leading role in fashion, excelling the costumes. In this sense, we need to note that hair styles may be related with individual, social and psychological factors. As people are more interested in hair colors, the scope of hair color selection becomes wider. People visit beauty shops to have their hair colors changes rather than have their hairs cut. Selection of a hair color seems to be deeply related with individuals' psychological states. Since hair colors have much effects on their facial images, hair designers need to have an empathy with their customers. Each person has his or her own unique image, and his/her selection of hair colors is affected much by external environment as well as his/her traits. With such basic assumptions in mind, this study was aimed at analyzing the preferences of hair colors by those in their 20's, 30's and 40's who are more interested in their hair colors. To this end, their preferences of or tendencies for hair colors were surveyed by sex, age group and job.

스웨덴의 부모보험제도와 여성의 경제활동 (Parental Insurance and Women's Economic Activities in Sweden)

  • Parental leave in Sweden is a part of the health insurance in national social insurance system. It has two kinds of benefits. One is parental cash benefit paid for both husband and wife on the occasion of child birth, currently 450days for each child. The other is temporary parental cash benefit when a child under the age of twelve or a caretaker for him is illness, which is six months for a child a year. Parental insurance in Sweden permits parents to take care of their children just after birth at home with the amount of 80% of monthly income for 360 days and 60 Swedish krone each day for 90 days more. It also permits parents with children under the age of eight of part-time work and return to former job at full-time base when they want. It consequently entourage women's economic activity in her whole life and contributes to promotion of equality in sex roles between husband and wife. This insurance scheme is beneficient in that it enhances individual and family welfare and also secures labour force. This case study on Swedish parental insurance offers implication how to resolve the conflict between women's increased demand for economic activity and maternal role.
