A study on the curing characteristics of polyimide thin film fabricated by vapor deposition polymerization (진공증착중합법에 의해 제조된 6FDA/DDE 폴리이미드박막의 열처리에 따른 특성에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, thin films of PI were fabricated VDPM of dry processes which are easy to control the film's thickness and hard to pollute due to volatile solvents. From FT-IR, PAA thin films fabricated by VDP were changed to PI thin films by thermal curing. From AFM and ellipsometer experimental, the higher curing temperature is, the films thickness decreases and reflectance increases. Therefore, PI could be fabricated stable by increasing curing temperature.

  • Railway in Japan has been changed every apr. 20 years as follows, since the war ended in 1945. Shinkansen which was the first high speed train in the world began to revenue service in 1964, and a national railway authority was privatized segmentally in 1987, and after 20 years later from then, the ticketing service using IC card was accomplished. In this research, we review these changes in Japan in the administrative aspects on railway technology, and R & D aspects of the Railway Technical Research Institute, JR East and JR West which are railway corporations. Also we introduce the present status and future of railway technologies in Japan which railway experts diagnosed. In the twenty-first century, the needs of the times for railway have been enormously changed due to a low birth-rate, an aging society, environmental pollution and energy problems and etc. Because we have very similar problems to them like Japan, we could get lessons from Japanese cases in setting the direction for the development of railway technologies.

  • In this paper, $TiO_2-V_2O_5$ thin films are fabricated by Sol-Gel method and their humidity-sensing characteristics have been investigated. The microstructure of specimen is porous. The humidity-sensing characteristics of thin films are good according to increasing heat treatment temperature and decreasing measurement frequency.

  • The dielectric and electrical properties of $Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-PbTiO_3-BaTiO_3$ have been investigated. Perovskite crystalline phase of the specimens is confimed by XRD. The curie temperature decrease with increasing $BaTiO_3$ and hysteresis phenomena decrease with increasement of $BaTiO_3$. The strain vs. applied voltage characteristics exhibit nonlinear relationship and the specimen. of 0.9PMN-0.08PT-0.02BT shows the largest strain.

  • The paper discusses numerical analysis of tensile notched specimens with the use of Gurson - Tvergaard - Needleman (GTN) material model. The analysis concerned S235JR and S355J2G3 steel grades, subjected to medium stress state triaxiality ratio, amounting 0.739. A complete procedure for FEM model preparation was described, paying special attention to the issue of determining material constants in the GTN model. An example of critical void volume fraction ($f_c$) experimental determination procedure was presented. Finally, the results of numerical analyses were discussed, indicating the differences between steel grades under investigation.

  • Most control system design problems involve finding state feedback gain for good response by the pole or characteristic polynomial assignment. In this paper, the characteristic polynomial assignment using PID controller for discrete 2-dimensional system descrived by the Fornasini-Marchesini's 2nd model (F-MM II) is considered. This method it not only available to F-MM II but also to Rosser's model.
