사이드스커트와 보트테일을 이용한 대형화물차량의 연비개선 효과 및 온실가스 감축량 추정 (Estimation of GHG Emissions Reduction and Fuel Economy Improvement of Heavy-Duty Trucks by Using Side Skirt and Boat Tail)

  • Recently, the need for technology development of commercial vehicle fuel consumption has emerged. Fuel economy improvement of transport equipment and transportation efficiency, and increasing attention to the logistics cost reduction measures. Increasing attention to the logistics cost reduction measures by fuel economy improvement of transport equipment and transportation efficiency. In this study, we have installed aerodynamic reduction device (side skirt, boat tail) to 14.5 ton cargo trucks and 45 ft tractor-trailers. And the fuel consumption was compared installed before and after. Fuel economy assessment for the aerodynamic reduction value device was tested by modifying the SAE J1321 Joint TMC/SAE Fuel Consumption Test Procedure - Type II test in according domestic situation. Greenhouse gas reductions were calculated in accordance with the scenario, including fuel consumption test results. When the 14.5 ton cargo trucks has been equipped with side skirts and boat tail, it confirmed the improvement in fuel efficiency of 4.72%. One Heavy-duty truck's the annual greenhouse gas reductions value are $6.86ton\;CO_2\;eq$. And if applying the technology to more than 50% of registered 15 ton trucks, greenhouse gas reductions are calculated as $686,826ton\;CO_2\;eq./yr$.

  • In this study, coupler on the safety of meeting the requirements and construction and economy to satisfy the number of parts to minimize an LK-DK coupler has been developed, affordability existing reinforcing bar joint, welded joint, mechanical joints, compared with a favorable one to the understanding, and also facilitate the construction and logistics, etc. I've found that there is no additional pay because the amount of product performance through the tensile test after test, if commercialization is expected to be greater ramifications.

  • Improving fuel consumption, particularly that of commercial vehicles, has become a global concern. The reduction in logistics cost has been a key issue in efforts to improve fuel economy and efficiency of transportation equipment. Typical technologies for reducing reduce fuel usage include air resistance reduction technologies, tire rolling resistance technologies, and idle technologies among others. Air resistance technology is a highly effective method that can be easily applied in a short period. As with air resistance technology, several devices involving side skirt, boat tail and gap fairing have been developed based on an analytical 3-D modeling technique for reducing air resistance attributed to the vehicle configuration. The devices were on a 45 feet tractor-trailer and the emission test was done using PEMS equipment. Fuel economy was evaluated by introducing several devices to reduce outer air resistance. The test was conducted by changing the experimental method of SAE J1321 Joint TMC/SAE Fuel Consumption Test Procedure - Type II test. As a result, air resistance decreased by at least 15 % and fuel economy improved by at least 13 %. This study sought to reduce greenhouse gas and improve fuel economy by applying several devices to a test vehicle to lower air resistance.

  • 이명박 정부는 새로운 과학기술기본계획에서 지식기반경제 시대에 창의적 기초원천연구의 산실인 대학을 세계적 연구개발거점으로 육성하고, 학연 협력을 강화하는 것을 주요 내용으로 포함시키고 있다. 또한 출연(연)의 중장기 연구사업에 대학을 참여시켜 기초원천연구를 강화하고, 대학 출연(연) 공동연구 활성화를 꾀하고 대학과 출연(연) 간 인력 교류 활성화를 위한 법령을 정비하고 있다. 항공우주분야도 타 기술분야와 마찬가지로 대학의 혁신주체로서의 역할이 강조되고 있으며, 따라서 학-연 협력의 필요성이 증대하고 있다. 학연협력의 유형은 공동연구, 석박사인턴십, 교수-연구원 교류, 공동연구센터, 공동대학원 과정 등으로 나누어 볼 수 있으며, 미국, 브라질, 독일, 프랑스, 일본, 한국 등의 사례를 살펴보았다. 학연협력이 성공하기 위해서는 연구주제의 높은 상호의존도, 연구역량에 대한 상호신뢰, 풍부하고 유연한 자원능력이 요구되고 있다.

한국 의료서비스산업의 규모 및 범위의 경제와 그 정책적 시사점 (The Economies of Scale and Scope in the Medical Service Industry of Korea and Its Policy Implications)

  • 본 연구는 최근 빈번하게 진행되고 있는 국내 의료서비스기관들의 대형화 및 집단화 움직임에 대하여 동 산업이 규모 또는 범위의 경제(Economies of Scale and Scope)를 실현할 수 있는지를 전위로그비용함수 추정을 통하여 분석하였다. 추정결과 계수에 따라 다소 차이는 있지만 여타 서비스의 생산수준의 변화에 의해 영향을 받는 특정 서비스 생산의 한계비용을 나타내는 계수들 모두 통계적으로 유의함을 보였다. 추정된 단일생산물 규모의 경제(Single-Product Scale Economy: SSE)계수들 뿐만 아니라 전반적인 약 규모의 경제(Ray Scale Economies: RSE)값 모두 1보다 작은 수치를 나타남으로서 한국 의료서비스기관들의 서비스생산에 규모 경제가 존재함을 보여주었다. 범위의 경제 존재여부의 분석을 위한 상호 서비스생산에 있어서 비용의 상보성 추정에서도 모두 90% 이상의 통계적 유의수준을 보였다. 특히 외래환자와 입원환자 진료서비스 간, 입원환자 진료서비스와 제 증명서발급 및 기타 서비스 활동 간에 있어서는 범위의 경제뿐만 아니라 비용의 상보성이 존재함을 보여주었다.

Sharing Economy: Generation Z's Intention Toward Online Fashion Rental in Vietnam

  • The last decade has seen the emergence of the idea of "sharing economy" as people are more aware of environmental issues. Although clothing businesses applying the model of sharing consumption have emerged recently, less research effort has been invested in this topic, especially in investigating young consumers' intention. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors driving Generation Z consumers' behavioral intention toward online fashion rental. In this research, a conceptual framework is proposed based on the Theory of Planned Behavior and Technology Acceptance Model. To test the research model and hypotheses, a survey of 375 students and pupils was conducted in Vietnam. All the scales' reliability and validity were assessed through Cronbach's Alpha and confirmatory factor analysis. Structural equation modeling was used to assess the relationship among constructs. The study results showed that attitude toward behavior, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control were positive contributors to Gen Z's intention to use online fashion rental. Besides, the positive relationships between attitude and two other factors - perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use - were also highlighted. Moreover, the findings provided empirical evidence for supporting the positive impact of interpersonal influence, e-WOM, and influencer e-marketing on subjective norm.

해외 주요국의 디지털 통상 정책 및 무역 협정 규범 동향 (Trends in Digital Trade Policies and Trade Rules in Major Overseas Countries)

  • Digital trade rules are crucial in supporting the digital economy as the rules effectively reduce unnecessary trade barriers. This study introduces various approaches that major countries take regarding digital trade policies and rules. Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership has introduced comprehensive rules on e-commerce, including binding articles on the free flow of information, location of computing facilities, and source code. More recent e-commerce provisions or digital trade agreements cover wider range of issues, from cyber security, artificial intelligence, and data innovation to electronic invoicing and payments. Multilateral negotiations on digital trade rules, including the World Trade Organization E-commerce Joint Statement Initiatives and Indo-Pacific Economic Framework, are in progress. Thus, countries involved are expected to respond to new digital trade issues with long-term strategies considering domestic policy objectives.

개혁개방 이후 중국 은행산업의 구조와 성과: 국유은행과 주식제 은행의 차이를 중심으로 (The Effect of Market Structure on the Performance of China's Banking Industry: Focusing on the Differences between Nation-Owned Banks and Joint-Stock Banks)

  • Purpose - This study applies the traditional Structure-Conduct-Performance (SCP) model from industrial organization theory to investigate the relationship between market structure and performance in China's banking industry. Design/methodology/approach - For analysis, financial data from the People's Bank of China's "China Financial Stability Report" and financial reports of 6 state-owned banks and 11 joint-stock banks for the period 2010 to 2021 were collected to create a balanced panel dataset. The study employs panel fixed-effects regression analysis to assess the impact of changes in market structure and ownership structure on performance variables including return on asset, profitability, costs, and non-performing loan ratios. Findings - Empirical findings highlight significant differences in the effects of market structure between state-owned and joint-stock banks. Notably, increased market competition positively correlates with higher profits for state-owned banks and with lower costs for joint-stock banks. Research implications or Originality - State-owned banks demonstrate larger scale and stability, yet they struggle to respond effectively to market shifts. Conversely, joint-stock banks face challenges in raising profitability against competitive pressures. Additionally, the study emphasizes the importance for Chinese banks to strengthen risk management due to the increase of non-performing loans with competition. The results provide insights into reform policies for Chinese banks regarding the involvement of private sector in the context of market liberalization process in China.

  • Recently due to repeatedly occurrence of flood, a lot of Chinese cities accept new design criteria for their protective project Most of them calculated by a certain type of probability distribution. In order to meet the demand of development economy the return period of design criteria is changed more longer and longer even 1000years, but the data which the calculation dependent on is only about 30-40 years.   • A joint economic ordering problem between supplier and customer has been formulated where a supplier has to pay the freight cost which follows the principle of economy of scale. An algorithm is given to determine order size and price simultaneously which give gains to both parties. A scenario is presented within which both parties come to a mutual agreement on the revised order size and price by utilizing quantity discount schedule.
