Background and Purpose : Effects of smokers's jogging exercises on oxygen uptake, ventilation, heart rate, and vital-capacity of normal adults have not been studied in details on. In this study, people that had completed the established jogging exercises was selected for the study. We could examine the effects of imposed jogging in smokers who might be considered by an experienced physical therapist to be well practiced and proficient in this exercises. Subjects and Methods : A total number of 24 young healthy subjects participated in a randomized crossover controlled study and completed the study. The subjects of this study were divided into jogging and controlled groups which were composed 14 people respectively. The members of exercise group had jogging exercises 50 minutes a day, five times a week, for 5 weeks in same conditions, otherwise controlled group did not. Results : The results of this study were as follows. The jogging group demonstrated significant increases in cardiopulmonary function, vital-capacity and exercise capacity, compared with control group, which demonstrated no change in baseline measurements of 5 weeks. Conclusion : Jogging exercises can increase cardiopulmonary function in people after they have undergone successful PA. These results suggested that it was improved on cardiopulmonary function and lung capacity, since jogging exercise had. The results of this study could be applied for valuable criterion cardiopulmonary function. It is necessary to selects in various groups of the purpose of enhancing confidence in of this research.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of wearing sweat suit on sweating rate during jogging. 4 healthy female students served as subjects in the experimental chamber which was controlled 22$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$, 60$\pm$10%RH and no wind. The experimental clothes were Sweat Suit (SS) and General Suit (GE), SS was the product of R sports wear company which was consisted of long-sleeved jumper (100% polyester) and full length trousers (100% polyester) and GE were consisted of long sleeved shirt (100% cotton) and full length trousers (100% cotton). The subject wore same socks and shoes in both experimental clothes SS and GE. The subject reported at the experimental chamber at the same time on each experimental day. exchanged their clothes to the experimental clothes SS or GE, wore all sensors for the physiological measurements and had a rest in a sitting posture about 40 minutes. After rest, the subject carried out 30 min jogging on the tread mill with the speed 3.6miles/hour and during the jogging rectal temperature, skin temperatures (7 sites of the skin surface), heart rate, VO2, and evaporative weight loss were measured continuously and compared between two experimental clothes SS and GE. The major findings were as follows : The increase in rectal temperature during 30 min jogging was higher in experimental clothes SS than in GE and mean slim temperature kept higher in SS than in GE. VO2 and heart rate were a little bit higher in the later period of jogging in SS than in GE. The evaporative weight loss was greater in SS than in GE. These results indicate that the thermophysiological responses and sweating rate differs according to the wearing suit even though the subject performed same exercise.

Recently, the problem of hypoxia caused by jogging is attracting attention. To solve this problem, this paper proposed a new solution. This paper proved that as a vocalization method of reading aloud, it is possible to increase air intake and activate lung function to exchange more air and obtain more oxygen. Then, blood oxygen saturation was used as an evaluation index for the body's oxygen content level to prove its effectiveness. A photoelectric pulse oximeter developed on the basis of different light absorption principles in blood was used to test blood oxygen saturation. Experimental results show that a certain degree of hypoxia is induced when a lot of oxygen is required due to jogging. Therefore, it was proved that the new vocal breathing method by reading books can increase the blood oxygen saturation of the body and improve the hypoxia of the body. Reading vocal breathing is a simple and efficient oxygen saturation recovery breathing method.

The main purpose of this thesis was to provide a basis to investigate the effectiveness of regular exercises on basic physical fitness for middle school students. 40 second graders from a middle school were chosen randomly and divided into 4 groups-wrestling group, basketball group, jogging group, and control group. The first three groups have been trained 4 times per week for 18 weeks after class to be compared with the comparison group. Pre and post measurements of physical fitness of the subjects were processed by means of the SPSS program. The average and the standard deviation of the measurements of each group were covered with the ANOVA test, according to the periods and the types of training. Duncan's Multiple Range Test was performed to identify the significance of the relationship between training period and improvement in basic sports ability. The conclusions as follows; 1. In the 50 meter sprint, only the wrestling group showed statistical significance, while the other groups showed gradual progress in general. 2. In the standing long jump, there is no group that showed any improvement. 3. In the forward flexion of the trunk, no significance was to be found. 4. In 30-second sit-ups, the wrestling group showed statistical significance. The wrestling group made greater progress than the other groups, and the basketball group and the jogging group also showed rather great progress. 5. In push-ups, statistical significance was found in the groups of wrestling, basketball, and jogging. And the wrestling group came in first, the basketball group second, and the jogging group third on the progress level. 6. In the distance run, the jogging group showed statistical significance and the jogging group made considerable progress. Steady improvement was to be found in the groups of wrestling and basketball.

The health is defined as 'a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity' by WHO. It is very important to know that which level is one's physical strength and what is adequate quality and quantity of one's exercise. Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, many countries have made the obligation to wear masks normal. Wearing masks in public places has become a must. At present, wearing a mask to participate in sports makes it very common. People seek to gain health through exercise but ignore the potential respirato-ry health threat. That is, wearing a mask will cause a decrease in oxygen content in the body. This neg-ative impact becomes more prominent as the wear-ing time and oxygen consumption increase. To pro-tect people from viruses and enjoy a healthy life. This paper proposes a breathing pattern that im-proves blood oxygen saturation while wearing a jogging mask and walking. Namely, shouting breathing pattern. Use a pulse oximeter to measure the blood oxygen saturation of running at different speeds and compare the normal breathing pattern and the shouting breathing pattern. The results show that the shouting breathing pattern has a sig-nificant improvement in the blood oxygen satura-tion of low-speed walking and medium-speed jog-ging.
The purpose of this study was to compare muscle activity in the lower extremity during walking wearing jogging and roller shoes. Twelve male middle school students (age: 15.0 yrs, height 173.7 cm, weight 587.7 N) who have no known musculoskeletal disorders were recruited as the subjects. Seven pairs of surface electrodes (QEMG8, Laxtha Korea, gain = 1,000, input impedance >$1012{\Omega}$, CMMR >100 dB) were attached to the right-hand side of the body to monitor the rectus femoris (RF), vastus medialis (VM), vastus lateralis (VL), biceps femoris (BF), tibialis anterior (TA), and medial (GM) and lateral gastrocnemius (GL) while subjects walked wearing roller and jogging shoes in random order at a speed of 1.1 m/s. An event sync unit with a bright LED light was used to synchronize the video and EMG recordings. EMG data were filtered using a 10 Hz to 350 Hz Butterworth band-passdigital filter and further normalized to the respective maximum voluntary isometric contraction EMG levels. For each trial being analyzed, five critical instants and four phases were identified from the recording. Averaged IEMG and peak IEMG were determined for each trial. For each dependent variable, paired t-test was performed to test if significant difference existed between shoe conditions (p<.05). The VM, TA, BF, and GM activities during the initial double limb stance and the initial single limb stance reduced significantly when going from jogging shoe to roller shoe condition. The decrease in EMG levels in those muscles indicated that the subjects locked the ankle and knee joints in an awkward fashion to compensate for the imbalance. Muscle activity in the GM for the roller shoe condition was significantly greater than the corresponding value for the jogging shoe condition during the terminal double limb stance and the terminal single limb stance. Because the subjects tried to keep their upper body weight in front of the hip to prevent falling backward, the GM activity for the roller shoe condition increased. It seems that there are differences in muscle activity between roller shoe and jogging shoe conditions. The differences in EMG pattern may be caused primarily by the altered position of ankle, knee, and center of mass throughout the walking cycle. Future studies should examine joint kinematics during walking with roller shoes.

GRF data were filtered using a 20 Hz low pass Butterworth. digital filter and further normalized to the subject's body weight. For each trial being analyzed, five critical instants and four phases were identified from the recording. Temporal parameters, GRFs, displacement of center of pressure (DCP), and loading and decay rates were determined for each trial. For each dependent variable, paired t-test was performed to test if significant difference existed between shoe conditions (p <.05). Vertical GRFs at heel contact increased and braking forces at the end of initial double limb stance reduced significantly when going from jogging shoe to roller shoe condition. Robbins and Waked (1997) reported that balance and vertical GRF are closely related It seems that the ankle and knee joints are locked in an awkward fashion at the heel contact to compensate for the imbalance. The DCP in the antero-posterior direction for the roller shoe condition was significantly less than the corresponding value for the jogging shoe condition. Because the subjects tried to keep their upper body weight in front of the hip to prevent falling backward, the DCP for the roller shoe condition was restricted The results indicate that walking with roller shoes had little effect on temporal parameters, and loading and decay rates. It seems that there are differences in GRF characteristics between roller shoe and jogging shoe conditions. The differences in GRF pattern may be caused primarily by the altered position of ankle, knee, and center of mass throughout the walking cycle. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of wearing roller shoes and jogging shoes on kinematic characteristics in lower extremity during walking. Eight male middle school students(age: $15.0{\pm}0.0^{\circ}$ yrs, height $175.9{\pm}6.6cm$, weight: $616.3{\pm}84.9$ N) who have no musculoskeletal disorder were recruited as the subjects. Temporal parameters, step length, stride length, center of mass, velocity of CM, angle of segment, angular velocity and range of motion were determined for each trial. For each dependent variable, paired t-test was performed to test if significant difference existed between shoe conditions(p < .05). The results showed that stride length and velocity of CM in wearing roller shoes were significantly less than those found in wearing jogging shoes. These indicated that walking patterns may be changed by different shoe conditions and unstable braking condition because of wheel. Angle of ankle joint at LHC1 and LHC2 in wearing roller shoes was greater than the corresponding value for wearing jogging shoes. It seems that the ankle joints are locked in an awkward fashion at the heel contact to compensate for imbalance. Otherwise, dorsi flexion was not produced at the heel contact point in wearing roller shoes.
This study examines three different relation effects of air pollution on health in Seoul city during 1988-90 : an effect on respiratory disease mortality, the frequency of hospital in- patients for asthma, and jogging in the morning. The results seemed likely to show positive association between respiratory mortality and asthma in- patients and ozone concentration. It also suggested that jogging as morning exercise was not recommended in the morning because of the highest concentration of major pollutants in the morning 7 : 00-8'00 a.m ). The epidemiological and statistical investigation of air pollution on health effects to be studied in further detail since these findings have provided some limited conclusions.
