The purpose of this study is to explore how security science graduates in casinos are socialized into the workplace. Participants for this study were seven security guards who work for two of three casinos for foreign customers in the city of Seoul. All the participants majored in the security science in colleges. They had 1 to 5 years of work experience. Their main job responsibilities were deterrent to crimes and watch for impending danger in the casinos. A variety of qualitative data collection techniques for this study included formal and informal interviews, stimulated-recall interview, observations, and field notes. Analytic induction and constant comparison were utilized to analyze data. Triangulating and member checks were employed to enhance trustworthiness. The findings of this study were as follow: Firstly, In acculturation, sports experience and media attraction were revealed as factors. Secondly, In professional socialization, college education and senior students in the program were found. Lastly, organizational socialization, Difficulty of relationship, lack of risk management training, lack of team cohesion, pride himself as a security guard, and unclear evaluation system. In conclusion, a variety of influential factors appeared through his occupational socialization even though there were negative and positive factors.
Clinical nurses have tendency to change their job while providing care to patient, experiencing extreme stress with shift work, increased demands for technique, and heavy workload. At this point, it is time for investigating resilience in nursing part, and resilience affect to increase organizational commitment and decrease stress and exhaustion at organization. This study is a correlation study to investigate effects resilience on stress, exhaustion, and organizational commitment of clinical nurses. The results are as follows; The participants' resilience level is 3.38(${\pm}.38$), at the maximum of 5, stress level is 3.73(${\pm}.50$) at the maximum of 5, burnout level is 2.74(${\pm}.68$) at the maximum of 6 and organizational commitment level is 4.22(${\pm}.68$) at the maximum of 7. Ftom this study, resilience, stress, and burnout showed negative correlation, and resilience and organizational commitment revealed positive correlation. In order to decrease the clinical nurses' stress, burnout and enhance nurses' organizational commitment, nurse managers have to manage nurses' resilience. For increasing resilience of nurses, nurse manager has to develop resilience program, and training for managing nurses' stress and burnout.
Most universities have been concerned about Liberal Education; whether is it on universal truth, or on training job-specialists? In consequence, the curricula have been reformed and promoted diversely. In this aspect, has been developed as convergence education. I selected two easy and short texts and tried to make the students practice and memorize the dialogues as many as possible. At the end of the class, the students presented given assignments, with theatrical performance. This study carried out the research of students' presentation and theatrical performances on the basis of group study, together with a survey of the results of questionnaires and lecture evaluation. Therefore it was a exploratory study to check out significance of variables through the correlation analysis. The students' questionnaires showed the improvement of their English ability, together with their knowledge about literature and drama, cultivating humanities through the theatrical performance. It may be said that has achieved multi-functional effects of English class converged literature, theatre and humanities even for one semester.
The conservative treatment for impingement and rotator cuff tear includes rest, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), local steroid injection and physiotherapy depending on the purpose to relieve the pain and inflammation, in addition, stretching exercise to recover flexibility and strengthening exercise to recover the function could be used. When these conservative treatments are divided into multiple steps, the first one contains pain relief, modification of daily activity and stretching exercise. Second step includes strengthening exercise of the anterior/posterior cuff and peri-scapular muscles and eventually. The third step includes training program to return to job, housework and hobby activities and maintain. Thus, the key of these step wise approach for the treatment of impingement and rotator cuff tear is exercise program. Understanding of various exercise program and apply to the patients properly is most important for the conservative treatment of impingement and cuff tear.

This study was conducted to investigate the fitness of major courses according to the development and application of new curricula based on the NCS (National Competency Standards) of health-related departments at junior colleges. To accomplish this, 300 students of the health-related departments at junior colleges were surveyed from March 11 to March 30, 2016. The overall findings showed that their awareness of NCS, intent of integration and understanding of curriculum contents had a significant effect on the fitness for linkage and combination with existing education. Competency unit elements based on the newly developed NCS (job, work, qualification and training standardization of major courses) were linked with existing education. And students - who accept this - are rapidly assimilated into the new curriculum contents. In particular, they have a high understanding of the integrated development of standardized curricula between three major departments, unlike existing textbooks. In conclusion, the high perception and understanding of knowledge integration education are expected to have a positive effect on healthcare education, establishing an early health-related NCS system in the future, and improving site fitness for development of the contents of NCS.

Digital manufacturing (DM) technology helps engineers design products promptly and reliably at low production cost by simulating a manufacturing process and the material behavior of a product in use, based on three-dimensional digital modeling. The computing infrastructure for digital manufacturing, however, is usually expensive and, at present, the number of professional design engineers who can take advantage of this technology to a product design accurately is insufficient, particularly in small and medium manufacturing companies. Considering this, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) and H University is operating a DM track in the form of Industry-University-Research Institute collaboration to train high-performance-computing-based DM professionals. In this paper, a series of courses to train students to work directly into DM practice in industry after graduation is reported. The operating cases of the DM track for two years since 2013 are presented by focusing on the progress in establishment, lecture and practice contents, evaluation of students, and course quality improvement. Overall, the track management, curriculum management, learning achievement of students have been successful. By expediting more active participation of the students in the track and providing more internship and job offers in the participating companies in addition to collaborative capstone design projects, the track can be expanded by fostering a nationwide training network.
Purpose - The convenience store business sector in South Korea has contributed to economic growth and job creation, and the growth potential of this market segment remains very high. In addition, service value is a more important factor than price in determining purchase intention. Research in the convenience store market is relatively very low compared to other retail sectors. In particular, research on service quality for the convenience of retailers who examine and analyze customer behavior and service quality factors used in the convenience store side of the situation is very inadequate. We have investigated the relationship of store service quality, service satisfaction, and store loyalty. In addition, we have examined the way service value moderates the relationship among these variables. Research design, data, and methodology - The questionnaire was developed using modified and supplementary questions based on the KD-SQS and RSQS models. The study suggested a theoretical model composed of 15 hypotheses on the relations between theoretic variables, and surveys conducted with consumers in discount stores in the Seoul and Gyunggi Metropolitan area in order to verify the hypotheses. We used the SPSS/PC statistical packages to analyze the results. The number of surveys used was 227. Moreover, a structural equating model was also used to analyze the reliability and validity of the composing elements and to verify the suggested hypotheses. Results - The overall results of this study are as follows. First, all service quality elements have a significant effect on service satisfaction. Second, all service quality elements have a significant effect on store loyalty. Third, service satisfaction has a significant effect on store loyalty. Finally, when the participants were divided into high and low service value the results of the multiple regression analyses showed that only the relationship between policy of service quality and satisfaction, and human interaction and policy of service quality and loyalty were significant. The implications are discussed based on the findings of the study. Conclusions - First, through direct hypotheses testing, we confirmed that the convenience service quality positively impacts the service satisfaction and loyalty of buyers. In particular, the reliability, origin benefit, and promotion were found to have more influence on satisfaction and loyalty of consumers of a convenience store. Further, for the service quality of the convenience for the consumer loyalty, greater human interaction was a high-value and statistically significantly higher than the degree of improvement in consumer loyalty. This underscores the importance of education and human services management of employees working in a convenience store. In particular, frequent changes in personnel generate results that negatively impact loyalty with customers. These results may lead to a serious problem in the economics of the store. Therefore, it should enhance the value of services through the establishment of training and compensation for employees. In addition, a certain educational level is required as well as a basis for compensation and retention.
This study aims to find out what affects on performance of private security service guards' duty regarding the security service martial arts. To achieve its goal, object of this study was set as private security service guards of private security service enterprise. Here are some conclusions that have been found. First of all, it was revealed that Hapgido, Judo, Taekwondo, kumdo and fencing are in order of the martial arts that help security service the most. Second, the relation of the ability to perform private security service guards' duty between the security service martial art of security guards and the types of them appeared that ones who had been trained were found to be more affirmative than ones who had not, and showed a significant difference. On the other hand, there was no significant difference found on the type of performance of private security service guards' duty. However, ones with a longer career seemed to be more affirmative on the side of work quality and duty, and it also showed a significant difference statistically. complishment relation between the security service martial art of security guards and the types of them appeared that ones who had been trained were found to be more affirmative than ones who had not, and showed a significant difference. Complex ethical issues of Emergency Medical Techinician (EMT) out-of hospital emergency medical scene and the ER (Emergency Room) behaviors were studied. The survey was conducted by 500 EMT group members working in the field of ambulance work and general hospital and it was about their work ethics, discussions and solutions about the transferred patients, and ethics regarding Do Not Attempt Resuscitate (DNAR). The survey includes work ethics, awareness about the target job, a discussion on the transfer of patients, measures, and deathbed. Discussions about the patient's condition and diagnosis results were majorly absent during patient transportation at the emergency care scene. More than 90% of emergency care transfer were inappropriate. Sometimes, EMT working in the field facing morally unethical problems beyond their responsibility. When EMT, who can not make death diagnosis, received deathbed related DNAR issues, they gone through severe ethical conflicts. The institutional support and therapy for EMT was weak. In Korea, especially in the accident site, ethical issues education is more needed than DNAR prevalence of education and guidance. If ethics training and guidance are given to EMT, a lot of moral errors in the field can be resolved.
