대학 졸업예정자들의 직업탐색활동의 변화와 개인적 특성의 영향에 관한 연구

  • Job search research has been criticized for failing to study the dynamics and change of the job search process. A lot of previous researches have used cross-sectional designs and treated job search as a static process. As a result, job search research has failed to examine how job seekers' behaviors change during the course of their search. This paper examined changes In job search behaviors(preparatory and active job search behavior, and job search intensity) and the effects of individual difference variables(self-esteem, self-efficacy, extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, openness) on job search behaviors. Data were gathered from 404 university students who had not found employment at the time of beginning of second semester The results of t-test pairs indicated that job seeking students increased their preparatory job search behavior and active job search behavior, but didn't job search intensity. The results of multiple regression showed that self-efficacy had strong relationship with preparatory and active job search behavior, and job search intensity, but self-esteem had not any relationship with them. Among big-5 personality, extroversion had relationship with active job search behavior and job search intensity, and agreeableness only with job search intensity.

창업·취업교육이 대학생의 창업·취업의도 영향요인에 미치는 효과 (Entrepreneurial·Job Search Education's Effects on the Antecedents of University Students' Entrepreneurial·Job Search Intention)

  • This paper explores antecedents of entrepreneurial and job search intentions based on the theory of planned behavior. Additionally, it examines the impact of entrepreneurship and job search education on these antecedents of entrepreneurial and job search intentions. The research model has been validated by analyzing 1,432 responses from undergraduate students in South Korea. The results of analysis provide several findings: First, entrepreneurship attitude, entrepreneurship subjective norm, and entrepreneurship self efficacy showed significant positive effects on entrepreneurial intention, but their effects on job search intention were insignificant. Second, while job search attitude showed significant positive effects on both intentions, job search subjective norm showed a significant effect only on job search intention, and job search self efficacy showed a significant effect only on entrepreneurial intention. Third, entrepreneurship education increased all the antecedents of entrepreneurial intention, and reduced job search attitude. These results imply that entrepreneurship and job search education should be managed comprehensively, considering their cross-effects on the antecedents of entrepreneurial and job search intentions.

구조방정식을 이용한 대학졸업예정자들의 구직의도 영향요인 및 인과구조 분석 (Analysis of Structural Equation Model on Affecting Factors and Causality of Job Search Intention among Expectant Graduates from University)

  • 본 연구는 대학졸업예정자들의 구직의도에 영향을 미치는 선행요인들을 밝히고, 요인들간의 구조적인 관계를 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 지방 국립대 4학년 재학생 231명을 대상으로 구조방정식 모델을 검증하였다. 통계분석은 SPSS 20.0 프로그램과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하였다. 구조방정식을 이용한 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 구직효능감은 구직네트워크와 구직제약성의 구직의도에의 효과에 매개역할을 하고 있었으며, 구직명료성은 구직의도에의 직접 효과는 없었지만, 구직효능감을 통한 정(+)의 간접효과를 보여 주었다. 둘째, 구직태도와 구직효능감은 구직의도에 정(+)의 효과를 나타냈다. 셋째, 구직 제약성은 구직태도에 부(-)의 영향을 주고 있으며, 구직네트워크와 구직제약성은 구직효능감에 유의한 정(+)적 효과를 나타내었다. 넷째, 구직네트워크와 구직효능감의 향상은 구직명료성을 상승시키는 효과를 보여주었다. 다섯째, 본 연구결과를 통하여 대학졸업예정자들의 구직효능감 향상과 긍정적인 구직태도의 함양 및 구직관련 사회관계망의 확보가 요구됨을 확인할 수 있다.

실직기간 구직활동이 실직자의 재취업에 미치는 영향분석 (The Effects of Job Search Behaviors on Re-employment of the Unemployed in Korea)

  • Although economic crisis is allaying in Korea, the more effective unempoyment policies are requried in this present. So in this paper, we analyze the effects of relevant factors, especially job search behaviors of the unempyoed on reemployment and look for implications to the improvement of unemployment policies. Major findings are as follows: First, we find that job search behaviors, especially the effectiveness of job search activity and job search attitude are significantly different between the unemployed and the re-employed. Second, we find that the variables of job search behaviors - the effectiveness of job search activity (number of job offers), job search attitude (reservation wage), positive use of job search methods - significantly affect the re-employment of the unemployed from logistic regression analysis results. These findings' implications are as follows: First, the approach based on search theory may be useful in finding out determinants of re-employment. Second, the effects of job search behaviors on the reemployment and their implications should be actively accepted to policy makers in order to improve the effectiveness of un-employment policies. It meams that the effects of job search behaviors must be carefully considered in making or restructuring unemployment policies and their administrations.

The Job Seekers Model: Comparison of the General Search Model and the Unified Approach Model

  • Purpose: Unemployment in its general form is a result stemming from the decisions of workers to search for a new and better paying job. In this study, the view that unemployed workers were not simply desiring any job, but one that would maximize their expected future outcome, was examined. Research design, data, and methodology: In order for collection of data and analysis, the panel dates of individual applications for job openings on job search websites were utilized to examine search effort and period for individuals. Results: It was found that the number of applications sent by a job seeker declined over their period of job searching, and that job seekers over a long duration of time tend to send relatively more applications per week throughout their entire search period. The latter finding contradicts the implications of the standard labor search effort models. Conclusions: It can be observed that these job search models fail to capture several key elements in search efforts, and that the search time for an offer is not entirely predetermined by the labor market conditions and socio-economic (individual) characteristics of the searcher. It can be shortened as he or she intensifies their job search efforts.

여대생의 퍼스널 이미지 만족도와 구직효능감과의 관계에서 외모관리행동의 매개효과 (Mediation Effect of Appearance Management Behavior on the Relationship between Satisfaction of Personal Image and Job Search Efficacy among Female College Students)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate mediation effect of appearance management behavior on the relationship between satisfaction of personal image and job search efficacy. Based on previous studies on components of personal image, appearance management behaviors, and job search efficacy, questionnaire items were developed. For this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey among 422 students from women's university in Seoul. Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS 23. Results are as follows. First, there were positive and moderate bivariate correlations among satisfaction of personal image, appearance management behavior, and job search efficacy. Second, satisfaction of personal image was found to have a partially significant effect on job search efficacy while satisfaction of internal image, visual image, and social image had a positive effect on job search skill. Satisfaction of internal image had a positive effect on job search strength. However, satisfaction of visual image or social image did not have a significant effect on job search strength. Third, fashion management behavior among components appearance management behavior could partially mediate the relationship between satisfaction of personal image and job search efficacy, indicating that satisfaction of internal image and visual image among components personal image not only has a direct effect on job search skill among job search efficacy, but also has an indirect effect on job search skill by affecting fashion management behavior. These results suggest that it is important to build personal image effectively and increase satisfaction with oneself through active appearance management behavior to improve job search efficacy.

여대생의 외모관리행동이 구직효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Appearance Management Behavior on Job Search Efficacy among Female College Students)

  • This study investigates the effects of appearance management behaviors on job search efficacy among female college students. Based on previous studies on appearance management behaviors and job search efficacy, the questionnaire items were developed. For the study, we conducted a questionnaire survey among 312 students from women's university in Seoul. The statistical analyses were performed using SPSS 23. The results were as follows. First, three types of appearance management factors have been identified: 'fashion & hair,' 'skin care & plastic surgery,' and 'body shape'; the reliability and validity of these factors were proved. Second, the appearance management behavior of female college students found to have a partially significant effect on job search efficacy: fashion & hair factor had a positive effect on job search strength; fashion & hair factor and body shape factor had a positive effect on job search skills. While skin care & plastic surgery factor had a negative effect on job search strength and job search skill. Third, between academic years, there were differences in job search efficacy but not in appearance management behavior. By majors, there were differences among skin care & plastic surgery factor, body shape factor, and job search strength factor. These results suggest that to improve the job search efficacy, proper appearance management through fashion and hair, and body shape management is necessary. In addition, it suggests that it is important to improve the effectiveness of employment by establishing the appearance management strategy that matches the characteristics of each major.

  • 연구는 체육계열 대학생이 인식한 경력개발지원과 구직강도의 관계에서 구직효능감의 매개효과의 관계를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구대상은 서울, 충남, 경상권에 소재한 대학교의 체육전공자 중 3, 4학년을 대상으로 223명의 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 설문지의 신뢰도와 타당도검사, 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 경로분석은 AMOS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체육계열 대학생이 인식한 경력개발지원은 구직효능감에는 통계적으로 정적인 영향을 미치고, 구직강도에는 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 둘째, 체육계열 대학생의 구직효능감은 구직강도에 통계적으로 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 체육계열 대학생이 인식한 경력개발지원과 구직강도 사이에서 구직효능감은 완전 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

청년들이 생각하는 좋은 일자리 조건과 직업탐색행동이 취업에 미치는 영향 분석 (Analysis of the Good Job Condition of Which Young People Think and the Impact of Job Search Behavior on Employment)

  • 본 논문은 청년들이 생각하는 좋은 일자리 조건과 직업탐색행동이 취업에 주는 영향을 실증적으로 연구했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 성과변수로는 취업여부와 더불어 구직성과를 설정하였다. 본 연구의 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청년들이 생각하는 좋은 일자리 조건으로는 기업측면에서는 임금·급여, 환경측면에서는 직업안정성, 개인측면에서는 일과 삶의 균형으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직업탐색행동이 취업여부 및 구직성과에 영향을 주는 핵심변인인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청년들이 취업을 준비하는 과정에서 구직스트레스는 취업에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 일에 대한 경험은 취업 및 구직성과를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 청년들의 취업성공률을 높이기 위해서는 무엇보다 청년구직자의 적극적인 직업탐색행동 빈도를 높여주는 다양한 지원이 필요하다. 이를 위해 청년 눈높이에 맞는 맞춤형 청년정책 서비스 모델개발과 체계적인 서비스 제공이 필요함을 시사한다.

Job Shop 일정계획을 위한 Tabu Search (Tabu Search for Job Shop Scheduling)

  • Job shop scheduling with m different machines and n different jobs is a NP-hard problem of combinatorial optimization. The purpose of the paper is to develop the heuristic method using tabu search for job shop scheduling to minimize makespan or mean flowtime. To apply tabu search to job shop scheduling problem, in this paper we propose the several move methods that employ insert moves in order to generate the neighbor solutions, and present the efficient rescheduling procedure that yields active schedule for a changed operation sequence by a move of operations. We also discuss the tabu search techniques of diversifying the search of solution space as well as the simple tabu search. By experiments, we find the appropriate tabu list size and tabu attributes, and analyze the proposed tabu search techniques with respect to the quality of solutions and the efforts of computation. The experimental results show that the proposed tabu search techniques using long-term memory function have the ability to search a good solution, and are more efficient in the mean flowtime minimization problem than in the makespan minimization.
