그리드 네트워크에서의 QoS 보장방법 구현 (A Method on the Realization of QoS Guarantee in the Grid Network)

  • 그리드 컴퓨팅은 컴퓨팅 자원을 비용편익 측면에서 가장 효율적으로 만들 수 있는 능력을 가지고 있으며, 클러스터링 등의 기술로는 해결하기 어렵거나 시간이 오래 지체되어지는 대량의 컴퓨팅 능력을 요구하는 어려운 문제들을 풀기에 더 없이 좋은 방법 중에 하나이다. 이러한 그리드 컴퓨팅을 효율적으로 수행하기 위해서 지리적으로 분산되어 있는 고성능 컴퓨팅 자원을 실시간으로 상호 연결하기 위해 Grid Application이 필요하게 되었고, 이에 미국의 ANL(Argonne National Laboratory)를 주축으로 하여 여러 대학의 연구진에 의해 Globus가 만들어지게 되었다. 그러나, 이러한 Globus상에서 Grid Application을 실행시켜 일정의 Job을 네트워크를 통하여 주고받을 때, QoS가 보장되지 않는 문제점이 발견되었다. 그리하여 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 GARA(Globus Architecture for Reservation and Allocation)가 ANL에 의해서 개발 되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 GARA의 성능을 테스트하기 위하여 Testbed를 구축하여 GARA의 자원 예약 명령을 통해 자원을 예약을 수행하고, 그에 따른 적용 결과 및 추후 연구방향에 대하여 논하였다.

잉여 여유시간을 이용한 연성 비주기 태스크들의 효율적인 스케줄링 (Efficient Scheduling of Soft Aperiodic Tasks Using Surplus Slack Time)

  • 마감시간이 있는 주기 태스크와 마감시간이 없는 비주기 태스크가 공존하는 결성 실시간 시스템에서는 주기 태스크의 마감시간과 비주기 태스크의 빠른 응답시간을 보장하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 비주기 태스크 처리에 효율적이면서 잘 알려져 있는 알고리즘인 Total Bandwidth Server(TBS) 보다 향상된 알고리즘인 Enhanced TBS(ETBS)를 제시한다. ETBS는 Earliest Deadline First(EDF) 스케줄링 알고리즘을 사용하는 단일처리기 시스템에서 주기 작업의 단위 수행시간마다 확보할 수 있는 잉여 여유시간을 이용해 온라인으로 비주기 태스크에 마감시간을 부여하는 알고리즘이다. 제시한 알고리즘은 주기 및 비주기 태스크들이 처리기의 이용률을 모두 이용할 수 있게 하며 주어진 주기 태스크들의 마감시간을 보장한다. ETBS 알고리즘은 TBS와 같은 계산 복잡도 O(1)을 가지면서도 TBS보다 좋은 응답시간을 가짐을 이론적으로 보였고, 정량적인 응답시간 차이는 모의실험을 통해 보였다.

LDBAS: Location-aware Data Block Allocation Strategy for HDFS-based Applications in the Cloud

  • Big data processing applications have been migrated into cloud gradually, due to the advantages of cloud computing. Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) is one of the fundamental support systems for big data processing on MapReduce-like frameworks, such as Hadoop and Spark. Since HDFS is not aware of the co-location of virtual machines in the cloud, the default scheme of block allocation in HDFS does not fit well in the cloud environments behaving in two aspects: data reliability loss and performance degradation. In this paper, we present a novel location-aware data block allocation strategy (LDBAS). LDBAS jointly optimizes data reliability and performance for upper-layer applications by allocating data blocks according to the locations and different processing capacities of virtual nodes in the cloud. We apply LDBAS to two stages of data allocation of HDFS in the cloud (the initial data allocation and data recovery), and design the corresponding algorithms. Finally, we implement LDBAS into an actual Hadoop cluster and evaluate the performance with the benchmark suite BigDataBench. The experimental results show that LDBAS can guarantee the designed data reliability while reducing the job execution time of the I/O-intensive applications in Hadoop by 8.9% on average and up to 11.2% compared with the original Hadoop in the cloud.

실리콘웨이퍼 평탄도 추정 알고리즘을 위한 디지털 컨덴츠에 관한 연구 (A study on the Digital contents for Estimated Thickness Algorithm of Silicon wafer)

  • 반도체 집적회로를 만드는 토대가 되는 실리콘 웨이퍼의 표면은 고품질 회로를 구성하기 위해 극도의 평탄도가 요구되므로 평탄도는 양질의 웨이퍼를 보증하는 가장 중요한 요소이다. 따라서 실리콘웨이퍼 생산의 10개의 공정 중 거칠어진 웨이퍼 표면을 고도의 평탄도를 갖도록 연마하는 폴리싱공정은 매우 중요시 되는 생산라인이다. 현재 이 공정에서는 담당 엔지니어가 웨이퍼의 모형을 측정장비의 모니터에서 육안으로 관찰하여 판단하고 평탄도를 높이기 위한 제어를 하고 있다. 그러나 사람에 의한 것이므로 많은 경험이 필요하고 일일이 체크해야하는 번거로움이 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 비효율적인 작업의 효율화를 위해 웨이퍼의 모형을 디지털 컨텐츠화하여 폴리싱 공정에 있어 평탄도를 사람이 아닌 시스템에 의해 자동으로 측정하여 제어하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 제안한 전체 웨이퍼 평탄도 추정알고리즘을 토대로 실제 현장에서 쓰이는 웨이퍼 각 사이트별 평탄도를 측정하기 위한 사이트두께 추정 알고리즘을 제안한다.

질적 간호제공을 위한 간호단위 시범 운영 효과에 관한 임상적 연구 (A Clinical Study for Promoting Quality Nusing Care in a University Hospital)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a new nursing unit which can meet changing health care needs, enhance patients' satisfaction and nurses' job satisfaction, and finally guarantee quality nursing care with present manpower. For this, one medical unit was selected as a unit for quality care. And one medical unit which is similar in staffing and patients' characteristics was selected as a control unit. To assess present problems and identify the remedies to the problems a hospital-wide survey and a workshop were performed. According to the survey results, educational programs and improvement of the facilities and equipment supply system, managereal support for interdepartmental cooperation and intensification of bed-side nursing care were adopted as main principles for operating model unit, This model unit was operated for 3 months from Sep. 1, 1992 to Nov. 30, 1992. To evaluate the effectiveness of the model unit, derect/indirect nursing care hours, patients' satisfaction to nursing care, nurses' job satisfaction, and quality care index were measured. Direct/indirect nursing care hours were compared with that of the control unit, and patients' and nurses' satisfaction and quality care index were measured before and after operating model unit and compared with each other. The results of the study were as follows; 1. In the model unit mean direct nursing care hours per cach shift was 146.88 minutes and indirect nursing care hours was 354.72 minutes. The ratio of the direct nursing care hour to indirect nursing hour was 29.6 ; 70.4 and that of the control unit was 26.9 : 73.1. Direct nursing care hour in model unit was longer than that of the control unit. But, the difference was not significant. In subcategories of direct nursing care, the time spent in mobility and exercise, conservation of body temperature, hygiene, and communication and health education were longer than that of the con" trol unit. 2. Indirect nursing care hour in model unit was shorter than that of the control unit. But, the difference was not significant. In subcategories of indirect nursing care, the time spent in drug management and ward arrangement was shorter than that of the control unit. 3. Patients' satisfaction to nursing care was increased significantly after operating the model unit (T=-3.48, P=-0.002) and satisfaction to subcategories of physical comfort measure, psychological cate, and unit management components were significantly higher than before. 4. In the model unit, nurses' total job satisfaction was increased significantly after operating the model unit(Z=2.1004, P=.0357) and satisfaction to subcategory of satisfaction to administration was significantly higher than before (Z=-2.0732, P=.0382). 5. After operating the model unit, quality care index was increased from 89 to 93. With this results, it can be summarized that all the measures tried for quality care, such as educational programs, managereal support for interdepartmental cooperation, and improvement of the equipment and facility provision resulted in partial increase in direct nursing care hours, nurses satisfaction to their job and patients' satisfaction to nursing care. In can be postulated that managereal support and motivation without proper staff supplementation is not enough for increasing direct nursing care hours. And for the enhancement of the level in clinical nursing, and staff supplement must be considered sincerely and the measures for reducing indirect nursing care hours, such as computerization of nursing care activities, improvement of facilities and equipment and facilities supply system, must be instituted in addition.

수협 마아케팅에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cooperative Marketing of Fishery Products in Korea)

  • In the field of fisheries, there is at the apex Central Federation of Fishery Cooperatives, established under the Fishery Cooperatives Law(1962), It is a multipurpose organization with a membership of 105 cooperatives, 87 regional cooperatives, 15 business-type cooperatives and 3 manufactures' cooperatives. Accordingly, this thesis examines the marketing of fishery cooperatives in Korea, and in particular considers the marketing channel strategy of fisheries products. No company can perform by itself all the activities involved in the production and distribution of its products and services to its final markets. It must work with other firms to get the job done. This thesis tries to attempt to improve the present Korean Fishery Cooperatives marketing activities. The purpose of the operation of fishery cooperatives is to guarantee the profits of fisherman as well as the interests of general consumers by eliminating the inordinate profits of middlemen and by narrowing other market margins. Fishery cooperatives marketing activity functions forming a self-helf organization for economic protection of producers themselves, and acting as a market reformational institution through its transaction by group. The following are the characteristics of fishery cooperatives marketing. \circled1 Fishery cooperatives is organized with an economic factor and a personnel factor. \circled2 Fishery cooperatives is non-profit organization. \circled3 The members of fishery cooperatives is independent constitution of economy, but they are closely connected with the cooperative. \circled4 Fishery cooperatives is a mutual aid organization. The objective of an efficient marketing strategy may be well described by the common saying provides the right product at the right time, the right place, and the right price. But it is quite true that the Korean Fishermen's Cooperative can be said to owe its development to the successful implementation of the marketing system. The use of the marketing system has resulted in the following marketing strategy. 1. The direct marketing system. \circled1 The cooperation between the fishery cooperatives and the other cooperative through the collection and delivery center. \circled2 The selling between the fishery cooperatives and the large scale retailers through the process industry. 2. The vertical marketing system. \circled1The fishermen's cooperative to be nominated by wholesaler in the terminal market. \circled2 Contracted vertical marketing system. \circled3 Abolition of selling by double auction in the landing and the terminal market. 3. The physical distribution system. \circled1 The need for adoption of cold chain system to connect production directly to consumption. \circled2 The need for more expansion of landing markets and terminal market facilities. Solutions to the problems of the Korean fishery are made possible through effective functioning of cooperative marketing activities of fishery products. The marketing concept of fishermen's cooperative lies in the satisfaction of consumer needs. According to the marketing concept fishermen's cooperative should try to satisfy customer's needs through a coodinated set of activities that allows the organization to achieve its goal. Providing satisfaction to customers is the major trust of the marketing concept. To do this, a business must find out what will satisfy customers. With this information the cooperative sells to the greatest possible number of customers through the most efficient sales and marketing channels. Economic rationality of fishermen's cooperative marketing lies in reduction of marketing cost and elimination of intermediate institutions. Cooperative marketing and direct marketing are both indispensable marketing factors for a new cooperative organization among the manu ways. The cooperation between the fishermen's cooperative and the others cooperative, and vertical marketing system are the most necessary ones. Propulsion of cooperative marketing system could not be successful without the support of the marketing instituion's help. Consequently, successful cooperative marketing ought to lead to the necessity not only for the improvement of marketing organization, but for the application of a new marketing concept in the fishermen's cooperative.

경비업법과 청원경찰법의 비교 연구 특수경비원과 청원경찰을 중심으로 (Comparative Study of Security Services Industry Act and Police Assigned to Special Guard Act - Focused on special guards and police assigned to special guard duty -)

  • 1962년에 각종 중요산업시설의 방호에 대한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 청원경찰법이 제정되었으며, 2001년에 경비업법 개정으로 국가중요시설에 대한 효율적인 경비체계의 구축을 위하여 특수경비제도를 도입하였다. 이로써 현행법은 청원경찰제도와 특수경비제도가 이원화되게 되었으며, 이러한 이원화에 따른 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 여러 학자들에 의해 통합의 당위성이 활발하게 논의되었다. 이와 같은 학계의 논의에도 불구하고 청원경찰의 신분보장 규정을 신설함으로써 단일화 주장은 동력을 잃게 되었다. 엄격한 의미에서 청원경찰은 자체경비이며, 특수경비원은 계약경비라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 양자 모두 장단점이 있으므로 이제는 청원경찰과 특수경비원의 단일화를 주장하기 보다는 청원경찰과 특수경비원의 장점을 살려 상호 보완하며 발전할 수 있는 법적 제도적 보장을 하는 것이 바람직할 것이다. 이를 위한 시발점으로 경비업법과 청원경찰법의 불합리한 법조문을 다음과 같이 개정할 필요성이 있다. 첫째, 특수경비원과 청원경찰의 업무수행은 실질적으로 동일하므로 특수경비원과 청원 경찰의 경비대상시설을 동일하게 개정할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 특수경비원의 국가중요시설 경비에 공백이 발생하는 것을 방지할 수 있도록 특수 경비원의 경우에도 청원경찰과 마찬가지로 경비대상시설 범위 내에서는 "경찰관 직무집행법"에 따른 경찰관의 직무를 수행할 수 있도록 개정되어야 할 것이다. 셋째, 특수경비원의 결격사유는 청원경찰과 동일하게 개정할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 특수경비원의 교육기관도 청원경찰의 교육기관과 동일하게 경찰교육기관으로 단일화하는 것이 타당하며, 특수경비원의 직무교육시간도 청원경찰과 동일하게 매월 4시간 이상으로 단축시킬 필요가 있다. 다섯째, 특수경비원의 경우에도 무기사용 요건을 '무기 또는 폭발물'에 한정하지 말고, '무기 흉기 등 위험한 물건'을 소지하고 항거하면 무기를 사용하여 위해를 끼칠 수 있도록 개정하는 것이 타당하다. 여섯째, 청원경찰에 대한 벌칙의 내용과 벌금의 범위 등도 특수경비원에 대한 벌칙 규정과 동일하게 개정할 필요성이 있다. 이상과 같이 일부 조항을 수정하면 굳이 경비업법과 청원경찰법을 단일화하지 않고도 불합리한 점을 시정함으로써 특수경비원과 청원경찰이 각 법률 하에서 상호 경쟁을 통하여 민간경비 산업 전체가 건전하게 발전할 수 있을 것이며, 일반 시민들에게는 양질의 경비서비스를 받을 수 있는 선택의 폭이 넓어질 것으로 기대된다.

충청남도 지리정보체제 구축의 기본방향 (A GIS Developing Strategy for Chungnam Region)

  • 지리정보시스템은 지방정부의 행정에 있어서 공간분석과 정책결정에 매우 유용한 도구로 등장하였다. 충청남도는 지리정보체계의 유용성을 인식하여 그것의 도입과 개발에 박차를 가하고 있다. 그러나, 개발의 초기단계에서 흔히 그러하듯이 기술력과 전문인력의 부족, 재원의 한계로 말미암아 어려움에 봉착하고 있다. 본 연구는 충청남도 지리정보시스템의 추진현황과 여건을 감안하고 여러 나라와 우리나라의 경험적 사례로부터 시사점을 얻어 충남지리정보체계 구축의 과제를 선정하였으며 지역 실정에 맞는 개략적인 지리정보체계의 개념설계를 시도함과 동시에 추진전략을 제시하였다. 지리정보체계를 성공적으로 구축하는 데에는 무엇보다도 다음과 같은 선결조건 흑은 과제의 충족이 요구된다. 첫째, 합리적인 장기계획을 수립하고 그 계획에 의거하여 체계적인 절차에 따라 지리정보계제를 구축하여야 한다. 둘째, 지리정보체계의 추진주체를 선정하고 조직을 정비하는 일이다. 이는 지리정보체계의 구축을 적극적으로 추진하고 책임의 소재를 명확히 할 필요가 있기 때문이다. 가칭 '지역계발정보화 추진위원회'의 구성과 지리정보를 위주로 하는 '지역개발정보센터'의 설립이 요망된다. 셋째, 국가지리정보체계와 기타 국가수준의 응용시스템과의 연계방안과 그들의 수용방안을 모색함으로써 비용과 노력의 중복을 방지하여야 한다. 넷째, 위성측위시스템(GPS)과 같은 신기술을 활용하여 정확한 지도작성을 하는 일이 시급하다. 다섯째, 우수한 인력을 자체내에서 지속적으로 확보하기 위해 인력양성 프로그램을 마련하는 일이 병행되어야 한다.

단순간호활동에 관한 간호사 및 간호조무사의 태도조사연구 (A study on simple nursing activities for the registered nurses and nurse aides in the hospital)

  • Every country in the world has been trying to expand the basic health right for the peoples as W.H.O has established the goal 'health for AU' by the year of 2000. Related to this goal, our government authority has establish the policy 'the insurance of health for all' into effect from July 198\). Recently hospitalshave been making a ceaseless effort for the plan for the rationalization of its management the academic World is making it a subject of discussion by doing the secure of manpower at a resonable level and the increase of productivity by the manpower. As a result of the efforts the study was established to secure the numbers of nursing manpower at a resonable level and use the unskilled persons at the utilizing field and seek the possible area of their activity for more efficient service through the investigation of ablity of simple nursing activities of regiestered nurses and nurse aides for rational function according to the educational levels and talents. The method of study was established by the registered nurses and nurse and nurse aides(R.N 229, N.A 226) who are working in 15 hospitals with over 200 beds. This surrey was conducted from Mar 29, 1989 to April 8, 1989. The method to test the degree of importance, difficulties, and the abillity of performance of a simple nursing activities was classified into 35 activities on the basis of references on this field. The degree of importance was composed from point l(Not so important) to 5(Very important). the degree of difficulties. was composed as follows; very easy - Point 1 very difficult and complicated - Point 5. and the ability of performance was composed from point 1 to 5. The materials gathered through the survey were analyzed with frequency, mean standard deviation, percentage. t-test, Anova, pearson's coefficient of correlation, stepwise multiple regression. factor analysis, discriminant analysis. The obtained results are summarized as follows: 1. The recognition values of the simple nursing activities of each group of registered nurse and nurse aides show; The degree of importance; 4.04 and 4.26 The degree of difficulties; 2.72 and 2.94 The ability of performance; 2.07 and 2.38 The brief summary shows there are little differences between who two groups the simple nursing activities turned out to be easy and simple work. 2. Regardless of the degree of importance, and difficulties, the ability of performance the important in fluencing of the degree of the simple nursing activities between the registered nurses and nurse aides was the order of educational level, hospital career, working career in wards and ages of the registered nurses and ages and hospital creer of nurse aides. The result was that the simple nursing activities could easily be familiar through the training of their working environment and period of experience. 3. Among the 35 simple nursing activities the items capable of resonable entrusting to the nurse aides are 5 that is helping bed-bathing, 8itz Bath, using bed pan, care while delivering patient, accompaying patient when visitor's check. There wasn't and differences between RN and nurse aides in performing the above 5 items. In anywhere. so we can say obviosuly that this nursing activities should be performed under the nursing system of which chief of nurse are supposed to supervise nurse aides as a possible function to be entrusted. In view of the above mentioned results, therefore, this partial functional job of the simple nursing activities can able be entrusted to the nurse aides through the regular training course. In case of these functional activities could be entrusted under, the responsibility of registered nurse, we can able suggest to for that there are the following advantages: 1.. In the nursing activities-affairs, the qualified guarantee of the nursing services can be kept and increased or promotoed with accommodation of the required nursing service and roles being expanded presently. 2. In the productivity of the hospital manpower, therefore, we have comt to view and consider in favourly that when an automational administration times would be come in the near future time to hospital affairs as a reality, to utilize the existing nures aides is better rather than investing so as to develop the other source manpowers or seek its for the efficient business management in the operational strategy or its policy.
