This study examines the characteristics of Korean journalism ethics as job ideology by analyzing the specific conditions revealed in the historical process of the construction of Korean journalism ethics, focusing on the change of social relationships which intervene in the construction of journalism ethics. By this interpretation, this study proposes the desirable directions in journalism ethics discussion and practice strategies in the journalism field. Therefore this study analyzed the historical process and the development phase of discourse in journalism ethics in which the job position of Korean journalists have changed. In result, this study found that the discourse of Korean was used for the instrumental and rhetorical means to cope with the outside pressure in the lack of occupational self-control which becomes the premise of ethics. Because of this, the Korean journalism ethics characterize the rhetorical feature of ethical code, the structured separation of practice from cognition, the conceptual confusion of responsibility from ethics.
The purpose of this study was to compare the perception of medical institution certification evaluation, job stress, turnover intention, safety management cognition of a general hospital nurse before and after the medical institution certification system. Data were collected from June 1, 2016 to July 17, 2016. The collected data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and paired t-test using SPSS 21.0. The results of this study showed that there was no significant difference between before and after certification of medical institution recognition, turnover intention, and safety management awareness, but mean score was high and job stress showed significant difference before and after certification.(t = 2.825, p = <. 005). That is, the job stress was higher than that after the authentication. Therefore, in order to reduce job stress of nurses preparing for certification, active and diverse human and physical support of medical institutions that can reduce work burden is needed.
Today, companies are making efforts to improve the performance of workers by utilizing various IT-based mobile and internet devices. In pharmaceutical companies, salespeople are using the e-brochure to search for diverse expertise in real time. Through the e-brochure, pharmacists and doctors can be provided with the information they need, thereby increasing confidence in pharmaceuticals and salespeople. Salespeople can also use e-brochures to improve their work performance and to be more satisfied with their jobs. This study examines which functions of e-brochures satisfy salespeople and what attitudes to the e-brochures they need to have. This paper explains the effect of satisfaction and attitude to the e-brochures on job satisfaction through self-efficacy with statistical analysis. As a statistical result, the functions of e-brochures (professional knowledge, massive amount of data, easy searching, information updates, and the reflection of feedback) and attitudes to the e-brochures (importance, intention to use, belief in improvement, efficacy to use, and negative cognition) influence on self-efficacy of salespeople. Further, self-efficacy has mediating effects on the relationship between the functions of e-brochures / attitudes to e-brochures and job satisfaction. Exceptionally, the mediating effect of self-efficacy was not significant in relation to information updates / reflection of feedback and job satisfaction. These results will explain what functions should be focused for the future development of e-brochures. It will also suggest what attitudes the salespeople should have about e-brochures. Through these efforts, salespeople will be able to utilize new technology of e-brochures to satisfy their jobs and improve their performance.
Despite the growing importance of the logistics industry, it has been socially recognized as a 3D job and is perceived as a field of lower professional identity since the workers themselves think that they are engaged in a less important job. According to the related researches, it shows that professional identity affects the quality of service to customers, and applying it to the workers who are engaged in the logistics industry should be a meaningful subject of research. Therefore, this study intends to look into the impact of professional identity by managers in logistics centers on their service orientation and job engagement. To this end, this study surveyed managers in logistics centers across the country and conducted exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and path analysis through structural equation models. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, among the sub-factors of professional identity, recognition of professionalism did not have a significant effect on service orientation and job engagement, while acquisition recognition and range cognition had significant effects on it. Second, service orientation had a significant effect on job engagement. It believes that this study suggested implications for educational institutions and logistics companies that develop human resources of logistics in the aspect of that it presented the importance of developing human resources of logistics as well as the directivity to where the working environment such as the autonomy in their works and the extension of their authority should take their way.
Purpose: This study was to identify the relations among ADL, self-efficacy, physical activity and cognitive function in elders. Methods: A total of 257 subjects aged between 60 and 92 were selected through convenient sampling. Data were collected with a self-reported questionnaire from November 1 to November 30, 2008. Collected data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 15.0. Results: Differences in ADL, self-efficacy, physical activity, and cognitive functions according to general characteristics were as follows. ADL was significantly different according to age, cohabitation, recognition on health, and successful aging. Self-efficacy was significantly different according to cohabitation, recognition on health, and successful aging. Physical activity was significantly different according to age, educational level, cohabitation, and cognition on health. Cognitive function was significantly different according to age, educational level, job, and recognition on health. The correlation coefficient (r) of the ADL variables was .565 for self-efficacy, .633 for physical activity and .460 for cognitive function. Conclusion: Findings of this study may be useful in understanding the health status of community-dwelling elders and developing more specific health promotion programs.
This study is aimed to investigate ethics cognition to information of youths who are main users of computers, but yet not built up the own ethics and the sense of value, as ethical problems are raised in information-oriented society. The research was focused on youths ethics cognition to information according to contact of multimedia pornography, surreptitious use of others and abusion of indecent languages in chatting. The survey was conducted to 520 students from middle and high schools in Jeju region and analyzed Probit Regression. The major results of this study are as follows; First, most of youths possess own-computers, and use Internet. Second, looking into experiencing or not according to sub-spheres of ethics cognition to information, the experience of contacting multimedia pornography was few. but the primary place of using it was a house. Most of youths approach multimedia pornography in awareness of a ban on youths' contact. The experience of surreptitious use of others was less than other spheres, and mainly only once. The number of youths who have an experience of abusing indecent languages was less than that of youths who don't have, but the frequency of was high when the youths have an experience. Third, the experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a significant difference on personal-relative variables such as gender, age, education levels, number of siblings, academic records, personal expenses, relationship with friends. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a meaningful influence upon family-relative variables such as father's education levels, Job, mother's age, education levels, employment, family type, monthly household expense. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a meaningful influence upon PC-relative variables such as deviation experience in PC rooms, the experience of request for age confirmation(I.D. card), average use hour of PC rooms. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a more meaningful influence on personal-relative variables and PC-relative variables than family-relative variables.
Recently many organizations have adopted 'untact' work due to social distancing caused by Coronavirus-19. To clarify some controversy about the effectiveness from 'untact' work, it is necessary to examine the cognition of organizational members. This study identified issues in 'untact' work from the literature review, analyzed the content of in-depth interviews with workers and managers experiencing 'untact' work, and compared both groups' cognition by applying the co-orientation model. Both groups pointed out the communication difficulty as the top disadvantage and showed no significant differences in job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and work-life balance. However, the two groups showed significant differences in their cognition about performance evaluation (agreement and workers' congruence) and productivity enhancement (workers' accuracy). This paper has an academic contribution in that it has focused on cognitive gaps between workers and managers, urges organizations to devise ways to reduce the gaps, and suggests future studies with quantitative approaches.

International marriage migrants from developing to developed countries are to seek a better economic condition. There are only a few empirical research on comparing and analyzing economic condition of marriage migrants before and after marriage. This study attempted to analyze the relationship between the cognition on the change of economic condition before and after marriage and the socio-economic characteristics of Vietnamese international marriage female migrants. About 80% of interviewees of this study were motivated to marry Korean men for economic reasons; however, their household economic level was relatively low. Reflecting the household economic level, about half the Vietnamese women considered that there was very little difference in the economic condition before and after marriage; while, the percent of women considering the current economic condition as getting better were more than 4 times of that of women considering as becoming worse. The cognition on the economic condition change before and after marriage was positively correlated with the level of education attainment of husbands and themselves, the Korean language ability, state of occupation in Korea, the level of husband's income, involvement of management of living expenses and length of residence in Korea. The occupation in Vietnam and the state of remittance were not significantly related to the cognition on the economic condition change before and after marriage. Vietnamese marriage female migrants were highly motivated to have a job out of home to improve the economic condition of their own family and natal family. Concreted alternative programs should be made to help those women to work out of home.

This study focuses on two analysis: direct cognition of effectiveness of internship practicum, difference of career attitude maturity. The purpose of this experimental case study is to find out the practical problems of Internship education as a field-study of LIS by applying Job-Shadowing Internship methods. The results reveal that 71% of interns responded the positive effects of Job-Shadowing, but the effects to the career attitude maturity was not statistically significant. The implications of the case study are as follows; (1) systematic pre-instruction and orientation from the department are the critical factor of internship, (2) practicum guidelines(PEP), which is provided by the person in charge of tasks in internship institutions is the another important factor, and finally, (3) tools for measuring the effectiveness of internship is required for LIS practicum major course development.
