병원 종사자의 DISC 행동유형 및 스트레스 대처유형과 직무만족, 직무몰입 간의 관계 (Relation between the DISC Behavior, Coping Type and Level of Stress and Job Satisfaction, Organizational Committment of Hospital Employees)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of DISC behavior pattern, stress-managing method, and the stress level on job attitude of hospital Employees, and to provide suggestions for effective human resources management in hospital settings. First, the research suggested emotional or aversive stress-managing method had significant influence to the stress level, whereas DISC behavior patterns did not. Second, to the job satisfaction, Influence, Compliance and Steadiness of DISC behavior patterns, challenging or aversive stress-managing method, and the stress level showed immediate meaningful effect. Third, for the system immersion, challenging or emotional ress-managing method as well as the job satisfaction showed direct influence. Especially, the challenging method had not only a direct but an indirect effect through mediating job satisfaction.

청년들이 생각하는 좋은 일자리 조건과 직업탐색행동이 취업에 미치는 영향 분석 (Analysis of the Good Job Condition of Which Young People Think and the Impact of Job Search Behavior on Employment)

  • 본 논문은 청년들이 생각하는 좋은 일자리 조건과 직업탐색행동이 취업에 주는 영향을 실증적으로 연구했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 성과변수로는 취업여부와 더불어 구직성과를 설정하였다. 본 연구의 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청년들이 생각하는 좋은 일자리 조건으로는 기업측면에서는 임금·급여, 환경측면에서는 직업안정성, 개인측면에서는 일과 삶의 균형으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직업탐색행동이 취업여부 및 구직성과에 영향을 주는 핵심변인인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청년들이 취업을 준비하는 과정에서 구직스트레스는 취업에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 일에 대한 경험은 취업 및 구직성과를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 청년들의 취업성공률을 높이기 위해서는 무엇보다 청년구직자의 적극적인 직업탐색행동 빈도를 높여주는 다양한 지원이 필요하다. 이를 위해 청년 눈높이에 맞는 맞춤형 청년정책 서비스 모델개발과 체계적인 서비스 제공이 필요함을 시사한다.

A Study on the Research of Job Characteristics on Organizational Commitment, Resilience and Organizational Citizenship Behavior for Korean Government-funded Research Institutes in the Field of Science and Technology

  • Purpose - Government-funded research institutes are important national institutions socially and nationally but academic studies on Korean government-funded research institutes are scarce, especially in areas of human resources and organization. This study investigated the effects of job characteristics on organizational commitment, resilience, and organizational citizenship behavior for organizational members of government-funded research institutes in the field of science and technology. Research design, data, and methodology - Literature review on the effects of job characteristics on organizational commitment, resilience and organizational citizenship behavior for organizational members of government-funded research institutes in the field of science and technology. Based on the review, exploratory propositions were proposed to conduct future empirical study. Result - In this study, based on the results of previous studies, it was presumed that job characteristics would affect organizational commitment, and organizational commitment would affect resilience and organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, proposition on the mediating role of resilience on both organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior was formulated. Conclusion - It was propositioned that job characteristics would affect organizational commitment, and organizational commitment would affect resilience and organizational citizenship behavior. Resilience, along with the direct effect of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior, would play a role in mediating organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior.

The Effects of Job Characteristics on Leadership Awareness and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: Focused on the Role of Motivating Potential Score

  • Purpose - This study aimed to check the influence of job characteristics of members of small and medium businesses on authentic leadership awareness of superiors and organizational citizenship behavior, and if the MPS between awareness of authentic leadership and organizational citizenship behavior mediated. This study aimed to find the influence of job characteristics of SMEs members on leadership awareness and organizational citizenship behavior, and the role of motivating Potential Score. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - Total of 150 valid questionnaires were collected. Frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, simple & multiple regression analysis, and 3-step mediated regression analysis were conducted. Results - The sub-factors of job characteristics all had positive influence on authentic leadership except skill variety and positive awareness on authentic leadership enhances organizational citizenship behavior of members. Also, MPS partially mediates awareness of authentic leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion - Providing skill variety such as expanding jobs to members of SMEs does not have influence of positive leadership awareness of leaders and partial mediation of MPS means that job characteristics along with positive leadership awareness on superiors enhance organizational citizenship behavior and contributes in developing the organization.

병원근로자의 조직시민행동과 조직효과성 관계 연구 (The Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Organizational Effectiveness of Hospital Employees)

  • Background: The organizational citizenship behavior is generally known as the important factor relevant to the organizational effectiveness. This research examined the mediating effect of the organizational citizenship behavior of hospital employees on the organizational effectiveness. Methods: Data were collected from 1,112 employees located in city of Seoul, Kyunggi and Chungnam province through self-administered questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS ver. 20.0, frequency analysis, t-test, analysis of variance, regression analysis, and path analysis. The main findings of the study are as follows. Results: First, it was found that many characteristics variables of personality, job, and relationship together affected organizational citizenship behavior of hospital employees. Especially, the following variables of negative affectivity, desire for growth, job value, job significance, and job security were found to have significant effect on the organizational citizenship behavior of hospital employees. Second, the results of path analysis showed that, through the mediating effect of organizational citizenship behavior, personality variables of positive and negative affectivity, and desire for growth, job characteristics variables of job value, job significance, and job security, and relationship variables of organizational support and task interdependence, had significant total effects on the level of job satisfaction of hospital employees. Conclusion: As a result, the organizational citizenship behavior seems to have both direct and indirect effects on the organizational effectiveness of hospital employees. Based on above findings, some theoretical and practical implications were discussed.

심리적 주인의식과 고용안정이 이직의도 및 혁신행동에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 -경북지역 중소제조기업 종업원을 중심으로- (Effects of Job Security and Psychological Ownership on Turnover Intention and Innovative Behavior of Manufacturing Employees)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the relationships among innovative behavior, turnover intention, and job security. An additional purpose was to examine partial mediating effects on psychological ownership. The baseline of analyzing those relationships in this study is that the role of psychological ownership will be a mediator between job security and turnover intention as well as innovative behavior in the organization. To accomplish these purposes, a model was built among job security as predictor variable, the psychological ownership as mediating variable and turnover intention, and innovative behavior as criteria variables based on the studies conducted in the various areas. The 248 questionnaires surveyed from the area of DaeGu and Kyungbuk were used in the statistical analyses. The detail statistical techniques are such as descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multi regression analysis. The results of the study show that job security had positively significant effect on turnover intention and innovative behavior. In addition, only the psychological ownership of organization-level thinking have partial mediating effects between job security and innovative behavior also job security and turnover intention. The results may indicate that the psychological ownership of organization-level thinking be a key factor to alleviate the turnover intention of employees and to encourage the innovative behavior during their works for the small-medium size companies showing the unstable job security.

  • Since Organ(1977) published a paper on the importance of organizational citizenship behavior, studies of organizational citizenship behavior have increased continuously. An exploratory study on the application strategy of organizational citizenship behavior for human resource management is very scarce. Many organizational researchers so far, have focused on investigating in-job behavior. Yet, from a decade, organizational researchers have recognized that in-job behavior alone can not explain sufficiently job performance or organizational effectiveness. Thus, they have paid attention to extra-job behavior, which is generally called as organizational citizenship behavior. Focusing on the importance of human resource management in organizational citizenship behavior, this paper is to examine an exploratory study on the application strategy of organizational citizenship behavior.

소비자불평행동에 관한 연구 - 불만족의 귀인을 중심으로 (A Study on the Consumer Complaining Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for consumer complaining behavior. For this purpose, questionaire was given to 600 individuals who have resided in Seoul as the housewife consumer and possessed the experience to use the purchased refrigerators within the period of 5 years. 437 data were analyzed by the statistical methods like frequency, percentage, ANOVA, Duncan's Multiple Range Test, X2-test, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were described as follows; 1) Complaining behavior have shown significant differences according to housewife's age, degree of perceived housewife's consumer education, husband's job and housewife's job. 2) The type of attribution of dissatisfaction have shown significant differences according to husband's job, housewife's job and family income. 3) There was significant difference in the complaining behavior according to the type of causal attribution and responsibility attribution. 4) The complaining behavior was influenced by causal attribution of dissatisfaction, responsibility attribution of dissatisfaction, family income, degree of perceived housewife's consumer education, husband's job and housewife's age. And the relative contribution of each variable explaining the complaining behavior was decreased according to the order of variables that were described.

제조업체에서 상사-구성원 교환관계가 부하직원의 직무몰입과 안전행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects Manufacturing Company's Leader-Member Exchange on Employee's Job Commitment and Safety Behavior)

  • In manufacturing company, safety is a important issue because it can cause many cost and problems of company. So reduce safety accident can increase manufacturing company's productivity. Safety accident has close relationship with employee's behavior, which is 'safety behavior'. In this study, researcher try to find out role of leader-member exchange and employee's job commitment effect on safety behavior in manufacturing company. A total of 279 responses were collected from manufacturing company's employees. The result of this empirical study show us that leader-member exchange has positive effect on employee's job commitment and safety behaviot. And job commitment has positive effect on safety behavior. Base on this empirical result, researcher provide critics and manageric implication for manufacturing companies.

  • The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the effect of job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior on customer orientation to investigate the causal relationships among these variables. The questionnaires was administered to 121 fashion product employees of department stores in Gwang-ju city during February $10{\sim}15$, 2006. For analysis of data, frequency, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, regression analysis, and path analysis were applied. The results indicated that job satisfaction of employees significantly influenced customer orientation(p<0.001) and organizational citizenship behavior(p<0.001). The organizational citizenship behavior of employees significantly influenced customer orientation(p<0.001). The job satisfaction had both direct and indirect effects on customer orientation mediated by organizational citizenship behavior.
