Chemical investigation of the ethyl acetate extract of Gibberella moniliformis JS1055 endophytic fungus derived from a halophyte, Vitex rotundifolia, led to the isolation of nine compounds including 7-butyl-6,8-dihydroxy-3(R)-pent-11-enylisochroman-1-one (1), 7-butyl-6,8-dihydroxy-3(R)-pentylisochroman-1-one (2), 7-butyl6,8-dihydroxy-3(R)-pentylisochroman-1-one (3), $5{\alpha},8{\alpha}$-epidioxyergosta-6,9(11),22-trien-3-ol (4), ergosterol peroxide (5), tetradecanoic acid (6), 8-O-methylfusarubin (7), nicotinic acid (8) and adenosine (9). They were identified by extensive spectroscopic data analysis including 1D, 2D ($^1H-^1H$ COSY, HSQC, HMBC) NMR, and ESIMS. All the isolates (1-9) are reported for the first time from this endophytic fungus.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the relationships among social discrimination, subjective health, and personal satisfaction based on the country of origin. Methods: The analysis was based on 16,958 immigrants who participated in the National Survey of Multicultural Family 2015 in Korea. This study conducted stratified cross-analysis of social discrimination for the differences in subjective health and personal satisfaction. Multivariate-adjusted odds ratios and 95% confidence intervals for the relationships among social discrimination, subjective health, and personal satisfaction were examined with multivariable logistic regression. Results: There were differences in experience of social discrimination, subjective health status, and personal satisfaction according to the country of origin. Groups without the experience of social discrimination had better subjective health and personal satisfaction than the other groups. Conclusion: This study demonstrates that a discrimination prevention program needs to be developed based on a cultural approach.

In this study, an electro-catalyst of Pt nanoparticles supported by polypyrrole-functionalized graphene (Pt/PPy-reduced graphene oxide [RGO]) is reported. The Pt nanoparticles are deposited on the PPy-RGO composite by chemical reduction of H2PtCl6 using NaBH4. The presence of graphene (RGO) caused higher activity. This might have been due to increased electro-chemically accessible surface areas, increased electronic conductivity, and easier charge-transfer at polymer-electrolyte interfaces, allowing higher dispersion and utilization of the deposited Pt nano-particles. Microstructure, morphology and crystallinity of the synthesized materials were investigated using X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The results showed successful deposition of Pt nano-particles, with crystallite size of about 2.7 nm, on the PPy-RGO support film. Catalytic activity for methanol electro-oxidation in fuel cells was investigated using cyclic voltammetry. The fundamental electrochemical test results indicated that the electro-catalytic activity, for methanol oxidation, of the Pt/PPy-RGO combination was much better than for commercial catalyst.

The purpose of this study was to develop a pre-training program of engineering college students for maximizing the effectiveness of internship or field training. To pursue this goal, literature review was conducted for data collection about college and corporate pre-training program for internship or field training and pre-training program(draft) was proposed. A questionnaire survey was conducted with engineering professors, students and graduates to identify the needs for pre-training program(draft) for internship or field training. Based on the results, the contents of pre-training program for internship or field training were composed of basic liberal arts, basic competency, real information related with corporation or job, and information exchange network. And key consideration for operating the pre-training program for internship or field training were proposed with the management department, regulation for the obligatory participation, meaningful organizing content, feedback of needs.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the current status of team learning in engineering education. For this, literature review and survey were used. The survey was conducted with 16 professors and 627 students in engineering college. Based on the results, team should be organized in consideration of various characteristics and competencies for effective team learning activities in engineering education. And in the team learning operations, it is necessary to make the conditions for students to immerse in team learning through the activation of communication of team members, tightening management of free riding in team learning, and optimizing team learning period. It is necessary to use the team learning evaluation method in harmony with the team, individual and peer evaluation.

This study deals with the disguised voice (or voice disguise) in the field of forensic phonetics. We especially studied the effects of the methods of disguised voice on the aural decision. Within the nonelectronic-deliberate voice disguise area, the methods of disguised voice include use of lowered pitch, pinched nostrils, falsetto, and whisper. Ten (male:5, female:5) Seoul speakers made a recording of 16 sentences. In the aural test, 30 subjects listened normal and disguised voice. And they were asked to make a decision whether speakers identified or not. The result is as follows: The speaker verification of the falsetto and whisper was more difficult than the lowered pitch and pinched nostrils.

The aim of this paper is to analyze vowels in voice imitation and disguised voice, and to find the invariable phonetic features of the speaker. In this paper we examined the formants of monophthongs /a, u, i, o, {$\omega},{\;}{\varepsilon},{\;}{\Lambda}$/. The results of the present are as follows : $\circled1$ Speakers change their vocal tract features. $\circled2$ Vowels /a, ${\varepsilon}$, i/ appear to be proper for speaker recognition since they show invariable acoustic feature during voice modulation. $\circled3$ F1 does not change easily compared to higher formants. $\circled4$ F3-F2 appears to be constituent for a speaker identification in vowel /a/ and /$\varepsilon$/, and F4-F2 in vowel /i/. $\circled5$ Resulting of F-ratio, differences of each formants were more useful than individual formant of a vowel to speaker recognition.

The pathogenesis of pancreatic pseudocyst is still not understood. A 5-year-old, 24-kg intact female Shetland Sheepdog was presented with anorexia and vomiting. Diagnostic imaging tests revealed that the left limb of the pancreas was thickened and contained two cystic lesions ($6.3{\times}5.6{\times}4cm^3$ and $3.5{\times}4.6{\times}5.5cm^3$). During the laparotomy, lesions were opened with de-roofing of superabundant tissue, and omentalization was performed. The dog recovered uneventfully after surgery and was discharged on postoperative day 12. Histopathologically, it was diagnosed as chronic pancreatic pseudocyst. This case report describes the diagnosis and successful omentalization of pancreatic pseudocysts in a dog.

The percentage of 3PL (Third-party Logistics), which uses third party businesses to outsource elements of the company's distribution and fulfillment services, is increasing steadily. To provide 3PL service to the customers, it is needed to estimate the total transportation cost and propose the unit cost to the customers. In this paper, we develop a decision support system for estimation of transportation cost of 3PL provider considering various transportation services, such as direct transportation, multi point visiting transportation, and cross docking. The system supports route planning of vehicles by using algorithms based on tabu search and dynamic programming.

Synchronous primary cancers in the liver and gallbladder have been rarely reported. We report a case of synchronous cancers of hepatic angiosarcoma and gallbladder adenocarcinoma, mimicking gallbladder cancer with hepatic invasion. Additionally, the clinical implications, the radiologic features, and the diagnostic difficulties are further discussed.
