지구과학 I 의 Jigsaw II 협동학습이 학업성취도 및 자기 주도적 학습능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Jigsaw II Cooperative Learning upon the Academic Achievement and the Self-directed Learning Ability Applied to Earth Science)

  • This study is the analysis of the effects of Jigsaw II Cooperative Learning upon the academic achievement and upon the ability of self-directed learning, compared to lecturing. It made it experimental target for two male and two female classes of students in the 2nd grade of humanity high school in Ulsan metropolitan area. One male and one female classes conducted Jigsaw II cooperative learning by making up a small group heterogeneously from the aspect of learning ability, and the other male and female classes carried out the lecturing focusing on a teacher. As for the academic achievement of science, Jigsaw II cooperative learning was shown to be effective compared to the lecturing. As for the ability of self-directed learning, Jigsaw II cooperative learning was indicated to be effective compared to the lecturing. As for the ability of self-directed learning for Jigsaw II cooperative learning, it was indicated to be effective compared to the lecturing. Given seeing this, it was identified the necessity for Jigsaw II cooperative learning to be applied to a school field as an alternative plan for the lecturing.

  • 본 논문은 수학 교육방법 개선을 위한 노력의 하나로 학습 모델에 대하여 연구하였다. 그 중 특히 협동학습 유형을 역사적으로 종합 정리하고 협동학습의 이론적 배경과 소집단 협동학습의 필요성 그리고 협동학습과 전통 조별학습의 차이점 등을 조사하였다. 또한 협동학습에서 나타나는 특징과 다양한 협동학습의 유형을 제시하고 그 효과에 대하여 연구를 하였다. 본 연구에서는 역사적으로 수학교육학적 견지에서 의미 있는 협동학습 유형으로 팀보조개별학습(TAI: Team-Assisted Individualization), 직소우(JIGSAW) 협동 학습, 직소우II(JIGSAW II) 협동 학습, 직소우III(JIGSAW III) 협동 학습, STAD(Student Team-Achievement division) 협동학습, 팀경쟁 협동학습(TGT: Teams-Games-Tournament) 등을 집중적으로 연구하였다.

  • This research studied learning model for the purpose of renovation of mathematics teaching methods. Especially, this research classified the types of cooperative learning, the theoretical background for cooperative learning, the need of cooperative learning in school mathematics, and the differences between cooperative learning and traditional small group learning, This research also suggested special features of cooperative learning and various types of cooperative learning models. The main types of cooperative learning which this research supported are TAI(Team-Assisted Individualization, JIGSAW cooperative learning, JIGSAW II cooperative learning, JIGSAW III cooperative learning, STAD(Student Team-Achievement division) cooperative learning, and TGT(Teams-Games-Tournament).

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of cooperative learning applying Jigsaw II on learner's self-regulated learning ability, achievements, self-esteem & cooperation. 12 graders were assigned to experimental group(applying Jigsaw II treatment) & control group(applying traditional instructional treatment). Experimental group was trained to ask comprehension & thought-provoking questions on the material when in tutor role & to explain material to group members when acting as tutee. Tutorial sessions followed over 8-week treatment. As a results, Experimental group outperformed control group on ability to construct learner's self-regulated learning ability, achievements, self-esteem & cooperation both during their tutorial interaction & on written measures.

전문가집단을 활용한 Jigsaw II 협동학습이 과학지식, 탐구능력 및 학습태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Jigsaw II Expert Groupings on Studentis Knowledge, Inquiry Ability and Attitudes at Elementary School Science Study)

  • Recently, introduced open education, there are some models applied several cooperative teaming, but there is no case in applied Jigsaw Ⅱ. So this research is selected objects which are 147 students in the fifth grade in 1999' school year and 143 students in 2000's on Yongwon elementary school. It makes share a partial responsibility for planner, leader, investigator, helper, writer and reporter in the small groups, and apply the Jigsaw Ⅱ model. Qualitative and quantitative analyses show that they have effects of Jigsaw Ⅱ cooperative Learning on Student's knowledge, inquiry ability and attitudes on Elementary School Science Study. The final results are following. The significance of Knowledge has .02 in 1999 and .01 in 2000. Testification of Inquiry ability has 1.75 in 1999 and 2.25 in 2000. The significance of Attitudes has .03 in 1999 and .00 in 2000. Research that has emerged from the cooperative teaming has led us to better understandings of multi purposed roles, interactions, and communities that arise when students work together to team science. Each of students can also cooperative as co-builders, working as equal participants to create a product that is better than that while would have built by either individual alone. Upon asking their intention, cooperative loaming shows more participation.

확장된 TGT 모델을 이용한 웹기반 협동학습 시스템 (A Web-based Cooperative Learning System using Extended TGT Model)

  • 웹 기술과 교육 환경의 급속한 발전으로 웹기반 협동학습 시스템이 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 최근에는 협동학습에 학습의 흥미와 능동적 참여를 높일 수 있는 게임을 접목하는 연구들이 등장하고 있다. 이러한 연구들은 게임을 사용하는 TGT 학습 모델에 기반한 것들로 대부분 시스템 설계 제안 수준에 머물렀으며, 구현 연구도 순수 TGT 모델만을 구현해 여러 문제점들을 가지고 있었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 확장된 TGT 모델을 정의하고 이에 기반한 새로운 웹기반 협동학습 시스템을 제안하였다. 확장 부분은 Jigsaw II 모델의 전문가 학습, STAD 모델의 향상점수 아이디어, 피드백 학습을 위한 학습자의 게임 문제 출제 참여 등을 포함한다. 순수 TGT 모델 기반 시스템에 대한 제안 시스템의 유용성을 검증하기 위해 두 시스템을 실제 중학교 두 반에게 적용하여 실험을 하였으며 그 결과 제안 시스템이 비교 시스템보다 더 나은 결과를 보임을 보였다.
