Influences of different seeding dates on growth, seed yield, fatty acid composition and oil content were investigated in flax plants for two years. The results indicated that plant height in early seeding date was higher than that of delayed seeding dates during first season. Furthermore, seeding date also significantly affected the ripened seed rate and the rate increased with the delay in seeding date in first season. Seed yield in the first crop season was significantly higher than the second crop season. Palmitic acid showed variation in different seeding dates. Contrarily, stearic acid was stable and did not changed by different seeding dates. Linolenic acid was found in highest amount in all seeding dates consecutively in two cropping years. Highest oil content was recovered from the seeds of flax sown at 29 Apr. and May 9 in first and second cropping year respectively.

Even though the interest to the mental hospital is recently increased, the mental hospitals are not well developed due to the pending arrangement of the concept of returning to the society and the system of local communities. Also, the hospitalism due to the isolation of patients and the long term stay in hospitals has become an issue. Despite the present circumstances, the prototype of mental health care in many field are investigated and progressively fixed. This study attempts to examine the current status of domestic and foreign mental institution and to establish the design guideline of the wards of the mental hospitals.

Corresponding to the change of the environment of oriental medicine, oriental medicine hospital in today is adjusting between the specific element of oriental medicine and the systematic application of occidental medicine hospital. According to this situation, this study aims to represent the material of the architectural planning of the the oriental medicine hospital. As its method, including the concept of the cooperative examination and treatment between oriental and occidental medicine hospital, the circulation of the patient and staff, and the type of the plane figure of the outpatient department are estimated.

This paper deals with hysteresis losses on the superconducting slap by using type II superconducting theory and classical maxwell equations. Transport current is transmitted to the longitudual direction and applied magnetic field is perpendicular to the slap length and simultaneously parallel to the plat. And the sinusoidal transport currents and the magnetic fields are applied to the slap. Properties of hysteresis loss can be understood, using computer simulation with apply field, transport current and phasor difference. From this result the efficiency and the stability of superconducting system can be enhanced.

Glomus tumors are uncommon soft tissue tumors which usually found in a subungual lesion of hand, producing pain. This uncommon tumors have been reported in other locations, including nasal cavity, stomach, mediastinum, heart, lung, and vagina etc. Especially, it was a very rare case found in an extradigital lesion of foot. Glomus tumors should not be ruled out for an extradigital mass lesion of foot and also any other locations. Although glomus tumors are generally considered a benign lesion, it should be considered that glomus tumors have also reported as a malignant type tumor, even the diagnosis based on histologic features not clinical one.

일반화선형모형에서 회귀함수가 하나의 불연속점을 가질 때, Huh (2009)는 하나의 모수를 가지는 지수족의 가능도함수를 한쪽방향커널을 이용하여 그 불연속점의 위치와 점프크기를 추정하였다. 이 논문에서는 미지의 불연속점 수 q개를 가지는 회귀함수인 경우에, Huh (2009)가 제안한 점프크기 추정량의 점근분포를 이용한 가설검정법을 소개하고, 그 가설검정법을 이용한 불연속점 수를 추정하는 알고리듬을 제안하고, 모의실험을 통하여 추정의 정도를 알아보고자 한다.

본(本) 연구(硏究)는 국산(國産) 장미과(科)의 찔레꽃, 덩굴장미, 해당화, 공조팝나무 및 국수나무에 있어서 목부(木部) 방사조직(放射組織)내에 천공(穿孔)을 지니는 방사조직(放射組織) 구성세포(構成細胞)가 존재(存在)함을 처음으로 보고(報告)하는 것으로 이들 방사조직(放射組織) 세포(細胞)의 천공(穿孔)은 도관요소(導管要素)에 발달(發達)하는 천공(穿孔)과 동일(同一)하게 단일천공(單一穿孔)을 지니는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

It is important to understand flow characteristics and performances of sails for both sailors and designers who want to have efficient thrust of yacht In this Paper the viscous flows around sail-like rigid wings, which are similar to main and jib sails of a 30 feet sloop, are calculated using a CFD tool. Lift, drag and thrust forces are estimated for various conditions of gap distance between the two sails and the center of effort of the sail system is obtained. Wind tunnel experiments are also carried out to measure aerodynamic forces acting on the sails system and to validate the computation. It is found that the combination of two sails produces the lift force larger than the sum of that produced separately by each sail and the gap distance between the two sails is an important factor to determine total lift and thrust.

In use of anaerobic bioconversion shellfish wastes present special problems, since the chitinous structures in the shell faction degrade very slowly in an anaerobic environment. Enzymatic pretreatment method was evaluated for improving the anaerobic bioconversion potential of blue crab processing wastes. An enzymatic pretreatment using chitinase enhanced the ultimate methane yield and biodergradation rate constant for total crab solid wastes by 15% and 19% respectively, above those of the untreated wastes. When the enzymatic pretreatment applied to the shell fraction alone, it resulted in increase of 34% in the ultimate methane yield and 38% in the reaction rate. The results indicate that anaerobic bioconversion of these wastes is technically feasible and enzymatic pretreatment will improve the efficiency of the process.

은행나무와 젓나무재(材)에 있어서의 방사유세포(放射柔細胞)에서 결정(結晶)이 확인(確認)되었는데 은행나무의 집정(集晶)만이 관찰(觀察)된 반면 젓나무에서는 다면체형(多面體形), 주정(柱晶)의 3종류가 관찰(觀察)되었다. 이러한 결정(結晶)은 일반적으로 자주 관찰(觀察)되었기에 수종식별(數種識別)의 한 인자(因子)가 될 수 있는 것으로 여겨졌다.
