노인의 주관적인 구강건강상태에 따른 총의치 만족도 (Complete denture satisfaction by the subjective oral health state among the elderly)

  • Objectives : This study aims to identify factors affecting satisfaction among the elderly with complete denture to help the elderly with complete denture perform oral hygienic care and to contribute to improvement in oral health. Methods : Interviews were performed with 247 people having complete denture, who were over 65 years and resided in Daejeon and South Chungcheong Province, from March 5 to 31, 2009. Results : 1. As for satisfaction in areas of complete denture by the number of brushing, chewing, pronunciation, and aesthetic functions were all high in over three times of brushing, showing statistically significant differences in satisfaction with chewing (p=0.1825) and aesthetic (p=0.005) functions. 2. As for satisfaction in areas of complete denture by the period of using denture, chewing, pronunciation, and aesthetic functions were all high in less than 7 years, showing statistically significant differences in satisfaction with chewing (p=0.030) and aesthetic (p=0.000) functions. 3. As for satisfaction in areas of complete denture by the subjective oral health state, the better subjective oral health state, the higher satisfaction with chewing, pronunciation, and aesthetic functions, showing statistically significant differences (p=0.000). 4. As for relevance between the subjective oral health state and satisfaction with complete denture, there was 30.1% explanation power in satisfaction with complete denture by the subjective health state. Conclusions : As for satisfaction with complete denture among the elderly, more than three times of brushing and less than 7 years of using denture were related to higher satisfaction; the better subjective oral health state, the higher satisfaction with chewing, pronunciation, and aesthetic functions. Therefore, it is necessary to have the elderly with complete denture receive education about oral hygienic care and perform the care at the same time.

질소분위기 전자빔 조사에 의한 졸-겔 IGZO 박막 트랜지스터의 전기적 특성 향상 (Enhancing Electrical Properties of Sol-Gel Processed IGZO Thin-Film Transistors through Nitrogen Atmosphere Electron Beam Irradiation)

  • 본 연구에서는 졸-겔 IGZO(Indium-Gallium-Zinc Oxide) 박막을 만들고 이에 전자빔을 조사 한 후 박막 트랜지스터로 제작하여 전자빔 조사가 박막 트랜지스터의 전기적 특성에 미치는 영향을 비교 분석하였다. 특히 전자빔이 조사되는 환경을 대기 중과 질소 분위기(<200 ppm O2)로 두고 전자빔 조사 선량 세기를 100kGy와 200kGy로 각각 조사한 후 350℃ 온도에서의 열처리만 진행한 비교군과 비교 분석을 진행하였다. 전자빔 조사에 따른 졸-겔 IGZO 박막의 물성 변화를 분석하기 위해 UV-Visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction(XRD)와 X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)를 분석 결과, 전자빔 조사 전·후의 모든 조건 하에서 가시광 영역에서의 80% 이상의 높은 투과도를 보여줌을 확인할 수 있었고, XRD 분석 결과를 통해 전자빔 조사와 관계없이 비정질 특성을 유지함을 확인하였다. 특히 전자빔 조사에 따라 졸-겔 IGZO 박막에 화학적 조성 변화가 있음을 확인하였는데, 질소 분위기에서 전자빔을 조사하게 되면 M-O결합과 관련된 peak이 차지하는 비율이 높아짐을 확인할 수 있었다. 질소 분위기에서 전자빔이 조사된 TFT들은 on/off 비율, 전자 이동도에서 향상된 특성을 보여주었으며, 시간에 따라 트랜지스터의 특성들(on/off 비율, 문턱전압, 전자이동도, 하위임계값 스윙)의 수치 또한 큰 변화 없이 유지됨이 확인되어, 졸-겔 공정 TFT 제작에 있어서 질소 분위기에서의 전자빔 조사공정이 IGZO기반 박막 트랜지스터의 전기적특성의 개선에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

고압 균질기를 이용하여 형성된 셀룰로오스 나노결정의 결정 구조 및 화학적 결합 특성 연구 (Crystal structural property and chemical bonding nature of cellulose nanocrystal formed by high-pressure homogenizer)

  • 고압 균질기를 이용하여 면 셀룰로오스 원료로부터 직접 셀룰로오스 나노결정을 추출하고 이에 대한 결정 구조 및 화학적 결합 상태에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 형성된 셀룰로오스 나노결정은 나노와이어 형태의 구조적 특성을 가지며, 조밀한 구조의 메쉬 형태로 분포하였다. X-ray diffraction (XRD) 분석을 통해 관찰된 Bragg 결정면의 면간거리 계산을 통해 고압 균질기로부터 추출된 셀룰로오스 나노결정이 셀룰로오스 Iβ 하부 다형체인 monoclinc 결정구조를 갖음을 확인하였다. 셀룰로오스 나노결정에 포함된 비정질 영역을 정량적으로 평가하기 위한 Solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) 분석 결과 셀룰로오스 나노결정의 결정화도 지수는 5 3.06 %로 계산되었다. 형성된 셀룰로오스 나노결정 표면의 O/C ratio는 0.82로 계산되었으며, C-C 결합 혹은 C-H 결합, C-O 결합, O-C-O 결합 혹은 C=O 결합, O-C=O 결합의 화학적 결합이 셀룰로오스 나노결정 표면의 주요 화학적 상태임을 알 수 있었다.

일 지역 고등학생의 건강증진생활양식 수행의 예측요인에 관한 연구 (Factors Influencing Health Promoting Lifestyle in High School Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors influencing health promoting lifestyle in high school students. Method: The study subjects were 477 high school students. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation and Stepwise Multiple Regression with SPSS statistical program. Results: The average item score for health promoting lifestyle was 2.44. The highest subscale score was self actualization (2.85), while the lowest subscale scores were interpersonal relationship (2.82), nutrition (2.57), exercise (2.56) and health responsibility (1.77). There was a significant difference between gender, sleeping hours, perceived health state, economic state, school performance, father's education, mother's education, living together and health promoting lifestyle. The most powerful predictor of health promoting lifestyle was self-efficacy (29.9%). The combination of self-efficacy, family function, activity-related effect, commitment to a plan of action, situational influences and social support accounted for 55% of the variance in the health promoting lifestyle. Conclusion: Self-efficacy was the most powerful variance of health promoting lifestyle. Therefore, health promoting programs that increase self-efficacy should be developed to promote a healthier lifestyle among high school students.

Estimation of Input Material Accounting Uncertainty With Double-Stage Homogenization in Pyroprocessing

  • Pyroprocessing is a promising technology for managing spent nuclear fuel. The nuclear material accounting of feed material is a challenging issue in safeguarding pyroprocessing facilities. The input material in pyroprocessing is in a solid-state, unlike the solution state in an input accountability tank used in conventional wet-type reprocessing. To reduce the uncertainty of the input material accounting, a double-stage homogenization process is proposed in considering the process throughput, remote controllability, and remote maintenance of an engineering-scale pyroprocessing facility. This study tests two types of mixing equipment in the proposed double-stage homogenization process using surrogate materials. The expected heterogeneity and accounting uncertainty of Pu are calculated based on the surrogate test results. The heterogeneity of Pu was 0.584% obtained from Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) spent fuel of 59 WGd/tU when the relative standard deviation of the mass ratio, tested from the surrogate powder, is 1%. The uncertainty of the Pu accounting can be lower than 1% when the uncertainty of the spent fuel mass charged into the first mixers is 2%, and the uncertainty of the first sampling mass is 5%.

전라북도 브랜드 쌀과 국내 및 수입 유통쌀의 품질 특성 비교 (Quality of Jeonbuk-originated Brand Rice Compared with Other Domestic Brands and Imported Market Rice)

  • 전북 유통브랜드 쌀과 국내 및 수입쌀과의 품질특성을 비교한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 전북유통브랜드 쌀의 품종은 일미가 대부분을 차지하였고 그 외 신동진, 일본계 품종, 여러 품종이 섞인 일반계 품종이었다. 2. 전북우수브랜드와 전북 외 우수브랜드 쌀의 시기별 품질변화에서 완전미율과 맛에 영향을 주는 수분함량, 식미값 등은 큰 차이가 없었으나 평균 완전미율은 전북 우수브랜드 쌀 95.3%, 전북 외 우수브랜드 쌀 94.2% 전북일반브랜드 쌀 89.1%였으며 전북우수브랜드 쌀과 전북 외 우수 브랜드 쌀은 동등한 품질을 나타내었다. 3. 국내쌀과 수입쌀의 외관특성 비교에서 국내쌀의 장폭 비는 1.87로 미국산 수입쌀이나 태국산 수입쌀의 2.24, 3.33 보다 작았으며 수입(중국)쌀 장폭비는 1.84로 국내쌀과 같은 단립종의 특성을 나타내었다. 4. 국내쌀의 단백질함량은 6.2%로 미국산 수입쌀 6.1%와 비슷한 함량을 나타내었고 완전미 함량도 90%이상이었다. 5. 전분호화 특성을 알아 본 결과 최고점도는 중국산 찐 쌀이 가장 낮았고 치반점도, 최종점도 등은 태국산 수입쌀이 가장 높았다. 6. 국내쌀과 수입쌀을 비교한 취반특성은 취반미의 식미를 결정짓는 요인 중의 하나인 부착성(Ad)/경도(H)의 비가 국내쌀과 미국산 수입쌀이 높았으며 태국산 수입쌀이 가장 낮았다. 7. 국내쌀과 밥쌀용으로 국내에 유통된 수입쌀 비교에서 외형적 형태는 미국산 수입쌀과 차이가 났지만 품질은 동등하였고 중국산 수입쌀과 찐쌀의 품질과는 차이를 나타내었다.

전북지역 영유아 보육시설의 급식관리 실태평가 (Assessment of Foodservice Management Practices in the Educare Centers in Jeonbuk Province)

  • Foodservice management practices in 52 educare centers in Jeonbuk province were evaluated in order to provide basic informations and guidelines for the standardization of foodservice management and facilities in the educare centers. The survey was conducted using the structured questionnaire. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Only 10% of the centers investigated had the stationed dietitian, therefore most of foodservice management was not conducted by a professional personnel. The average number of kitchen employees was 1.3 and significantly different with type(p<0.05) and size(p<0.001) of the centers, which was not enough to meet the regulation. 2. Menu planning was performed mostly(59.6%) by managers and teachers of educare centers. Food items were purchased(94.7%) and recieved(91.6%) by kitchen employees or center managers and teachers. Produced foods were also evaluated(97.7%) and distributed(100%) by kitchen employees or center managers and teachers depending on their experience without any supervision of the professional personnel for the mass production. 3. Among the centers studied, 84.6% of them conducted nutrition education programs regularly by teachers. About 77.3% of them evaluated that these programs did not accomplish the proper training for good food habit because of the lack of nutritional knowledge(54.5%) and educational media(27.3%). 4. In general, the hygienic maintenance was evaluated as fair state to need the improvement. 5. Kitchen facilities and equipments were similar to those of home cooking and did not meet the standards for institutional practices. Besides, automated machinery and tools for safety, sanitation and improvement of work efficiency were far short. 6. Log book for the foodservice management was not prepared properly, which made the systematic planning and operation of the foodservice facilities difficult.

Molecular Systematics of Korean Cobitids Based on Mitochondrial Cytochrome b Sequence

  • We compared the complete mitochondrial cytochrome b gene sequences of Korean and European cobitids to provide independent evidence for assessment of systematic and biogeographic relationships of species in the genus Cobitis. The data suggested monophyly of the genus Cobitis and the inclusion of Korean Cobitis species within the group having one lamina circularis, a primitive condition. Also, all the phylogenetic analyses using maximum parsimony, maximum likelihood, and neighbor joining methods showed a monophyletic relationship among Cobitis. The basal position of the Caspian C. cf. sibirica reported here reflects the eastern Asiatic origin cf. the European Cobitis and establishes C. cf. sibirica as an independent lineage. The Korean C. pacifica diverged next to C. cf. sibirica in basal group from the genus Cobitis. This result is in agreement with the hypothesized Asiatic origin of some European freshwater fish lineages. The phylogenetic relationships in this study showed a close affinity between C. zanadreai and C. sinensis. Two new species, C. tetralineata and C. pacifica in Korea also are closely related to monophyletic group clustering the type species of the Acanestrinia subgenus (C. elongata) with all the endemic Italian species (C. bilineata and C. zanandreai). This may suggest that the affinity between the Korean and Danubian-Italian imply genetic convergence or genetic plesiomorphic state between allopatric species that are separated for the Miocene. The mtDNA-based phylogeny for the species of the genus Cobitis from Kores and Europe permits phylogenetic assessment of the morphological transitions of Iamina circularis.

중국 신진 패션 디자이너의 작품에 나타난하이브리드 특성 연구 (A Study on Hybrid Characteristics in the Work of Chinese Rising Fashion Designers)

  • Based on the trend of pluralization and globalization the collapse of national borders now is a manifestation of mixed and compromised cultures and societies. It is also emerging as a hybrid fashion in fashion. Hybrid fashion means creating a new image by mixing various cultures beyond the time and space. This study aims to analyze the current state of Chinese fashion design and present its direction by grasping the characteristics of hybrids in the works of rising Chinese fashion designers in the era of pluralization. The research method was literature review and empirical research. According to the selection criteria of new fashion designers, 6 new fashion designers of 5 fashion brands were selected and their total 458 points works were analyzed. The analysis results are as follows. First, most of the time trade-offs were 'past and present' trade-offs that express Chinese traditional culture and the image of the past with modern design. The trade-offs between 'present and future' is expressed by mixing print patterns, colors and light with fractal art. Second, spatial trade-offs was expressed in the way of expressing Chinese themes in the composition of western clothing, expressing the Western themes in oriental colors, and inspired by Japanese culture expressed by deconstructionism, Third, the gender mix mainly used dark embroidery on women's clothing, while the men's wear showed a delicate feminine charm with a surreal pattern on thin and transparent gauze fabric.

Analytical characterization of O3 samples prepared for investigation of tropospheric heterogeneous reactions

  • In this study, ozone (O3) samples were prepared for investigating the heterogeneous reactions between O3 and tropospheric aerosols and were characterized by spectroscopic methods. O3 generated from an ozone generator was purified by selective adsorption on refrigerated silica gel, followed by transfer to a sample bulb. The amount of UV light (λ = 256 nm) absorbed by O3 was measured as a function of time at two different temperatures (room temperature and 50 ℃) and under different irradiation conditions. A correlation plot of 1/[O3] versus time showed that O3 decomposition follows the 2nd order reaction rate under a steady-state approximation. The initial concentration of O3, observed rate constants (kobs), and the half-life of O3 in the sample stored at room temperature were determined to be 2.74 [±0.14] × 1016 molecules·cm-3, 4.47 [±0.64] × 10-23 molecules-1·cm3·s-1, and 9.5 [±1.4] days, respectively. The evaluation of O3 stability under various conditions indicated that special care should be taken to prevent the exposure of the O3 samples to hightemperature environment and/or UV radiation. This study established a protocol for the preparation of highly purified O3 samples and confirmed that the O3 samples can be stored for a day after preparation for further experiments.
