Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the color stability of temporary prosthetic materials for dental CAD-CAM. Method: 2 kinds of existing acrylic resin temporary filling materials and 2 kinds of polymer prosthetic materials for dental CAD-CAM were used for testing, and five specimens respectively were absorbed in soy sauce, red pepper paste, and coffee. A Chroma Meter was used as analysis equipment. The color change of the specimens was observed to calculate ${\Delta}E$ value throughout 2 days, 3 days, 4 days, and 5 days and this was analyzed and the following result was obtained. Results: Snap's ${\Delta}E$ value was bigger than Vipi block(p<0.05). Red pepper paste had the largest impact on the color change of resin(${\Delta}E$), followed by soy sauce and coffee(p<0.000). With the passage of time, ${\Delta}E$ value was inversely(-) related and decreased somewhat(p<0.000).

Objectives: This study aims to report the effect of Korean medicine treatments on a patient with secondary dysmenorrhea caused by Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich Syndrome (HWWS). Methods: We treated the patient who had secondary dysmenorrhea caused by HWWS, with acupuncture, herbal medicines, pharmacopuncture and hyperthermia therapy at ⃝⃝Hospital of Korean Medicine from July 9th 2016 to September 8th 2016. We evaluated changes of symptoms by Visual analog scale score (VAS), Multidimensional verbal rating scale (MVRS) and Verbal rating scale (VRS). Results: After treatments, the clinical symptoms such as dysmenorrhea (lower abdominal pain & lower back pain), lower abdominal fullness were significantly improved, VAS was decreased, but the improvement of scores on MVRS, VRS were unclear. Conclusions: This case report shows that Korean medical treatment is effective to treat secondary dysmenorrhea caused by HWWS.

Objectives: This study demonstrated the positive effect of herbal medication on a suspected idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) patient-a 57-year-old male with suspected ITP and a decreased platelet count. Methods: The patient was treated with an herbal medicine named Nokyongdaebo-tang, and its effect was measured with periodic platelet blood tests. Results: Before taking the herbal medicine, the patient's blood platelet count was 98 K/μl, but following treatment, the blood platelet count increased to 201 K/μl and maintained a continuously elevated level. Conclusion: The results indicated that herbal medication may improve the blood platelet count of suspected ITP patients.

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there are differences in physique characteristics between the excellent domestic player groups in each sport player's, to prevent epidemiologic damage of musculoskeletal system and to provide fundamental data to improve performances for players. This study has performed for total 60 student players from Y University in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, consists of 20 Kendo players, 20 Judo players and 20 Taekwondo players. We measured the length and circumference of arm, leg, body using Martin anthropometer to collect the data for 3 groups. There was significant difference in lower left arm length between player groups(p<.01), and Kendo players' right side femoral were longer than other 2 groups for leg length measurement(p<.01). Judo players' circumference for right/left stretched arm/bent upper arm were thicker than other 2 groups(p<.01). Taekwondo players' chest circumference were smaller than other 2 groups(p<.01), and Taekwondo players' right/left femoral circumference were thinner than other 2 groups(p<.05). From this study, it was found that there are physique characteristics differences between the Kendo, Judo and Taekwondo player groups. This indicates that repeated exercise for each sport player causes physique change, and it may cause epidemiologic damage of musculoskeletal system. It is recommended to perform balancing exercise prior to main exercise.
