  • ZhangSanRoei's "NanKyungHeoJuJenJung" is a book which is composed of 'HeoJu'(collection of traditional explanations) and 'JenJung'(his own ideas). In this research, I considerd of "NanKyungHeoJuJenJung"'s theory of 'meridian' mainly by the original text. ZhangSanRoei said that it is right in the traditional theory that the 12 channel is always arranged 'pulse', and 'kikyung 8 channel' is subsidiary, so both of them are important. But, he was influenced by western medicine, he criticized that 12 channels' lenth is 16zhang2chuk, and are stared in 'Sutaeyinpaekyung' and left kidney right myungmun theory.

  • An integrated approach for prostate cancer detection using proteomic data is presented. Due to the high-dimensional feature of proteomic data, the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is used in the first-stage for data reduction as well as noise removal. After the process of DWT, the dimensionality is reduced from 43,556 to 1,599. Thus, each sample of proteomic data can be represented by 1599 wavelet coefficients. In the second stage, a voting method is used to select a common set of wavelet coefficients for all samples together. This produces a 987-dimension subspace of wavelet coefficients. In the third stage, the Autoassociator algorithm reduces the dimensionality from 987 to 400. Finally, the artificial neural network (ANN) is applied on the 400-dimension space for prostate cancer detection. The integrated approach is examined on 9 categories of 2-class experiments, and also 3- and 4-class experiments. All of the experiments were run 10 times of ten-fold cross-validation (i. e. 10 partitions with 100 runs). For 9 categories of 2-class experiments, the average testing accuracies are between 81% and 96%, and the average testing accuracies of 3- and 4-way classifications are 85% and 84%, respectively. The integrated approach achieves exciting results for the early detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer.

  • This study was performed to investigate the reverse effects of Jen Chung(Ren Thong, Shui Gou, GV-26) electroacupuncture after tiletamime-zolazepam administration in dogs. Seven healthy dogs ranging in weigh from 3.5 to 6.5 kg were used in this experiment. The treatment group was electrostimulated to Jen Chung(+) and Su Liao(Shan Gen, GV-25, -) for 20 minutes after 10 minutes of anesthesia. The control group I was anesthetized with tiletamine-zolazepam. The control group II was electrostimulated to nonacupuncture point for 20 minutes after 10 minutes of anesthesia. Various parameters were evaluated including the onset and recovery time of anesthesia, heart rates, body temperature, respiratory rates and electrocardiogram. The recovery time of the treatment group was shorter than that of the control group I and the control group II(p < 0.05). The treatment group had an increase in the heart rate from 20 minutes to 30 minutes after administration of tiletamime-zolazepam compared to the control group I and control group II(p < 0.05). The decrease in the body temperature was observed in all groups, but the body temperature of the treatment group was higher than the body temperature of the other groups. Respiratory rates gradually increased in all groups, but the treatment group had an increase in the respiratory rates from 20 minutes to 30 minutes after administration of tiletamime-zolazepam compared to the other groups. In the three groups, there was no specific finding on the electrocardiogram. In the result, the electroacupuncture on Jen Chung in dogs was effective for the reversed effects the tiletamine-zolazepam anesthesia 20 minutes after induction.

  • This study was performed to investigate the reverse effects of Jen Chung electroacupuncture at 10 and 30 min after xylazine administration(0.1mg/kg) in goats. In the group of electroacupuncture at 30 min after xylazine administration, MAT and MWT were markedly shorter than in control and in 10 min after xylazine administration. The RR intervals were continuously increased in control and in the group of electroacupuncture at 10 min after xylazine administration, but in the group of electroacapuncture at 30 min after xylazine administration significantly reduced from about 45 min. The frequency(cps) of EEG was recovered to normal pattern after 90 min in the group of electroacupuncture at 30 min after xylazine administration, but considerably delayed in control and in the group of electroacupuncture at 10 min. Respiratory rates tended to be somewhat decreased and then gradually increased in all groups. In control, there were shown cycloapneustic respirations but no in the electroacupuncture groups. It was turned out to be that the electroacupuncture stimulation of Jen Chung at 30 min after xylazine administration was effective for the reverse of the xylazine analgesia.

  • This Articles intend to articulate The Tao(道) and Te(德) in Confucian analects("論語") Tao & Te is key concepts in Confucian analects. Tao is the Way of human life. Te is the incarnation of the Way. Jen(仁) is the universal Virtue of Human beings. Therefore, Confucius said, "If Human beingsa bo the Virtue proper to Humanity, what has to do with the Rites of propriety and Music?". Confucian's Human relationship is altruism(恕). Chu-Hsi and Dasan uphold and reestablished Tao & Te and Jen as maim concept of Confucius Analects. Jen is a practical methodology of Tao and Te. Confucius said, 'Let the will be seat on the path of duty.' 'Let every attainment in what is good be firmly grasped.' 'Let perfect Virtue be accord with. Tao(道), Te(德) and Jen(仁) is Trinity in Confucian Analects. Dasan redefined Tao and Te as his Commentary of Confucian analects("論語古今註"). Dasan interpreted that Te is achieved only by Human beings's behavior. But Chu-Hsi' Te is substance of Mind(心之體). He interpreted Te as an innate idea.
