Many IS researchers had the greatest interesting in publication in leading IS journals. Studies of measuring research performance of Information Systems (IS) are the most important research areas. Today, many IS researchers considered Management Information Systems Quarterly (MISQ), Information Systems Research (ISR), and Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS) as the leading IS journals. In this study, we analyzed the published papers of Korean and overseas Koreans related IS researchers in ISR, MISQ, and JMIS from 2001 to 2010. The results of this study appeared the trend of increasing frequency of publication of IS research in south Korea in the leading IS journals such as ISR, MISQ, JMIS. The findings of this research showed the excellent performance of IS researchers and provided valuable information regarding publications performance of IS researchers in leading IS Journals.

Recently, game companies are having difficulties in exactly figuring out the right consumer groups for their games. To solve this problem, a system algorithm which recommends user-customized games based on the user information entered has been proposed in this study. Game developers will be able to clearly determine the consumer group(s) of both on and off-line games through accumulated data while consumers can find the game they desire. It is expected that the gaming culture will advance further with the proposed algorithm.

This document outlines a new color image encryption technology development. After splitting the original image into 240-bit blocks and modifying the first block by an initialization vector, an improved Feistel circuit is applied, sponsored by a genetic crossover operator and then strong chaining between the encrypted block and the next clear block is attached to set up the confusion-diffusion and heighten the avalanche effect, which protects the system from any known attack. Simulations carried out on a large database of color images of different sizes and formats prove the robustness of such a system.

In this paper, the prototyping process for developing syllable-initial consonant-based game 'Korean Guards' is described. Users may effectively learn Korean words using alphabetically sequential approaches, but the easiness of access bestowed on the smart environments and game algorithms could be fully utilized for the functional advantages for educational purposes. This functional game is developed on Android OS and the prototypical outcome is shown.

In this work, the smoothing and the interpolation basis splines are analyzed. As well as the possibility of using the spectral properties of the basis splines for digital signal processing are shown. This takes into account the fact that basic splines represent finite, piecewise polynomial functions defined on compact media.
