A Design of Hybrid Production System using GT, MRP & JIT (GT, MRP, JIT의 혼합 생산 시스템 구축)

  • Many production management systems for increasing productivity, minimizing inventory, keeping due dates and maximizing use of resources have been proposed, and GT, MRP and JIT are frequently used among these systems. The three systems have merits and demerits through comparing with each other. Because each system has mutual dependence, a hybrid production system Is necessary for using their merits maximally. In this study, a hybrid production system is designed by combining GT, MRP and JIT, which is suitable in the domestic production system and it is presented as followings. -.   • 최근 관심의 대상이 되고 있는 JIT시스템은 간판매수 결정이 그 무엇보다도 중요하다 하겠다. 제1보에 있어서는 단일 제품인 경우에 있어서의 간판매수 결정법을 제안했다. 본 논문에서는, 복수의 제품이 다단계 생산 시스템을 흘러가는 경우, 1) 공정에서의 간판용량이 다른경우 2) 제품에 공통하는 부품의 공정이 있는 경우 3) 공통부품공수가 있지만 제품에 따라 흘러가는 공정이 다른 경우 등을 고려한다. 또한 종래의 코스트 최소화만의 사고를 탈피, 간판매수의 결정에 있어 중요한 요인을 정리 간판매수결정 방법을 제시하는데 있다. 구체적으로, 간판매수의 결정에 있어 중요한 요인으로써 수요, 공정간의 목표, 재고수준, 재고비용, 노무비용, 하청업체의 공급능력, 작업자의 작업시간을 고려한다. 또한, JIT시스템의 전제조건의 하나인 평준화생산을 실시하기 위하여 작업시간에 있어서 기간별 공정별 부하 밸런스를 고려한다. 그리고, 수리계획법의 하나인 다목표계획법에 의한 문제의 형식으로 모델화하고, 모델에 대한 수리적 검증을 실행한다.

  • 본 연구는 JIT생산시스템에서 혼합조립라인에 대한 제품순서게획에 대한 연구이다. 본 연구에서 고려하는 조립라인을 효과적으로 수행하기 위해서는 서로 다른 제품들을 조립하기 위한 제품순서가 결정되어야 한다. 필요한 제품을 적시에 적당한 양만큼 생산하는 JIT생산시스템에서의 제품 순서계획의 목적은 라인에서 소비 되는 모든 부품들의 소비율을 일정하게 유지시키는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 부품소비율을 일정하게 유지시키 면서 동시에 순서계획수립시 계획파괴를 줄일수 있도록 그룹개념을 이용하여 순서계획문제를 정식화하고 이 에 대한 해법을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 해법의 우수성을 평가하기 위해 총변동과 순서계획의 파괴빈도에 대한 실험을 통하여 기존해법과 비교한 결과 본 연구의 해법이 우수한 결과를 제공하였다.

  • The objective of this study is to develope an effectiveness measurement technique for U-shaped JIT production line by computer simulation. A small and medium sized automobile brake master cylinder manufacturing plant is studied for productivity improvement The production line is analysed and improved by applying Low Cost Automation, special jigs and fixtures, and facilities layout changes. An experimental simulation model is built using SIMAN(SIMulation ANalysis) simulation software for the production system analysis.

  • This study aims at establishing JIT production management system to enable manage the resources input into from procurement through construction based on correct identification of the process, an analysis on the amount of input materials and information sharing. This study has focused on the process control and working process of rebar work in domestic apartment house construction where the overall scope of Process from the planning phase to the construction phase has been analyzed in this study. Also construction phase was selected for the application of a sample case. A basic model for JIT production was generated with these processes. Furthermore A questionnaire and the on-site survey with process, checklist and control data were prepared and performed for the application of JIT production management model into rebar work. The governing scopes of JIT production management system include process management, material management, yard loading and moving management and inventory control, and the operation of each control item

  • This study is concerned with the scheduling problem for mixed-model assembly lines in Just-In-Time(JIT) production systems. The most important goal of the scheduling for the mixed-model assembly line in JIT production systems is to keep a constant rate of usage for every part used by the systems. In this study, we develop two heuristic algorithms able to keep a constant rate of usage for every part used by the systems in the single-level and the multi-level. In the single-level, the new algorithm generates sequence schedule by backward tracking and prevents the destruction of sequence schedule which is the weakest point of Miltenburg's algorithms. The new algorithm gives better results in total variations than the Miltenburg's algorithms. In the multi-level, the new algorithm extends the concept of the single-level algorithm and shows more efficient results in total variations than Miltenburg and Sinnamon's algorithms.

  • The tradeoff of Java's portability is the inefficiency of interpretation. Also, the standard Java class library may not support the platform-dependent features needed by your application. Several solutions have been proposed to overcome these problems, such as JNI, JIT, off-line bytecode compilers. In this paper, we present an mixed-mode execution model which Java virtual machine executes together with native code. This execution model and its translator preserves the ability to dynamically load bytecode, and reduce the difficulties of JNI usages. Our system is more efficient than JIT, and helps programmer to write C implementation for the native method without the concept of JNI.

  • In this article, scheduling of a casting sequence is studied in a casting foundry which must deliver products according to the Just-in-time(JIT) production policy of a customer. When a foundry manufactures a variety of casts with an identical alloy simultaneously, it frequently faces the task of production scheduling. An optimal casting schedule should be emphasized in order to maximize the production rate and raw material efficiency under the constraints of limited resources; melting furnaces and operation time for a casting machine. To solve this practical problem-fulfilling the objectives of casting the assigned mixed orders for the highest raw material efficiency in a way specified by the customer's JIT schedule, we implement simple integer programming. A simulation to solve a real production problem in a typical casting plant proves that the proposed method provides a feasible solution with a high accuracy for a complex, multi-variable and multi-constraint optimization problem. Employing this simple methodology, a casting foundry having an automated casting machine can produce a mixed order of casts with a maximum furnace utilization within the due date, and provide them according to their customer's JIT inventory policy.

  • 급변하는 시장환경으로 인한 제조의 복잡성과 동적 특성의 증대로 인해 기업은 재공품의 감소, 납기일 준수를 위한 기술적 방법의 개발과 조화의 중요성을 인식하고 있다. 이에 기존에 사용하고 있는 MRP, JIT의 생산계획 및 통제 방식은 적용하는 데 있어 단점을 지니고 있다. 이에 최근 각광 받고 있는 TOC의 DBR 방식을 이해하고 기존 생산시스템(MRP, JIT)의 단점을 극복하고 동적인 생산환경에서도 효율적으로 생산 가능한 유연한 생산 스케줄링 모델을 개발하고자 한다. 개발된 생산 스케줄링 모델은 동적인 제조환경에서 효율적이고 유연한 생산 계획 및 통제 시스템이 될 것이며, 비용절감과 함께 기업의 생산성을 향상시킬 것이다. 또한, 이런 유연 생산 스케줄링을 증명하기 위해 프로토타입을 통해 그 효과를 증명하여 보기로 한다.

An Integrated Inventory Model for a Vendor-Buyer Supply Chain in a JIT Purchasing (다원자재를 고려한 구매업자와 공급업자간 공급사슬에서의 통합재고모형에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we consider a single-vendor single-buyer supply chain problem where a single vendor orders raw materials from its supplier, then using its manufacturing processes converts the raw materials to finished goods in order to deliver finished goods to a single buyer for effective implementation of Just-In-Time Purchasing. An integrated lot-splitting model of facilitating multiple shipments in small lots between buyer and supplier is developed in a JIT Purchasing environment. Also, an iterative heuristic solution procedure is developed to find the order quantity for finished goods and raw materials, and number of shipments between buyer and supplier. We show by numerical example that when the integrated policy is adopted by both vendor and buyer in a cooperative manner, both parties can benefit.
