  • WAP을 이용하는 무선인터넷 서비스의 경우, WAP Gateway를 통하여 http 프로토콜과 연동하여 통신한다. 따라서 사용자들은 무선 인터넷 서비스 비용 증가와 함께 WAP Gateway에서 사용자의 정보를 감시할수 있기 때문에 내적 보안의 취약성이 대두되었다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 플랫폼독립적이고, 비용감소, 좀더 강화된 보안성과 다운로드가능한 어플리케이션을 위하여 자바언어을 사용하여소켓통신을 이용하여 유.무선 메시징 시스템(WWMS)은 PC 클라이언트와 Moblie 클라이언트, Mobile 클라이언트와 Mobile 클라이언트, 각각에서 실시간으로 통신할 수있다. 본 논문에서는 J2ME를 이용한 멀티 플랫폼 유.무선 메시징 시스템을 설계하고 구현함으로써, 향후 다양한 Mobile 응용프로그램들을 개발하는데 기초가 될것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 분산 환경에서 이미지 정보를 수집하고 검색하기 위해 다중스레드를 사용한 이미지 검색 에이전트를 구현하였다 본 논문에서 제안한 이미지 검색 에이전트는 정보의 효과적인 검색을 위해 다중스레드를 사용함으로써 처리기의 이용률을 높일 수 있었고 웹상의 정보를 전달받는데 소요되는 대기시간과 처리 시간을 줄일 수 있었다. 이미지 검색을 위한 에이전트는 플랫폼에 독립적인 자바 언어를 사용하여 분산환경에 적합하도록 하였고, 검색한 이미지 저장을 위해 JDBC를 사용하여 데이터베이스에 연결하였다. 또한 이미지 자체는 분산된 에이전트의 데이터베이스에 저장하고 이미지의 인덱스만 인덱스 서버에 저장함으로써 검색 시간을 줄일 수 있었다.

Lead-Frame 에칭공정에서 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 이용한 에칭특성 예측 (The Prediction of Etching Characteristics Using Monte-Carlo Simulation in Etching Process of Lead-Frame)

  • The objective of this work is to simulate the etching characteristics for the optimization on the etching process of Lead-Frame. The etching characteristics such as etching factor, etching uniformity were investigated under different the actual operating conditions. The correlation between the etching characteristics and the spray ones were analyzed to simulate the etching characteristics in the etching process. To improve the etching characteristics in the etching process, effects of the various operating conditions such as pressure, distance from nozzle tip, pipe pitch, and feed speed should be understood in detail. The spray characteristics obtained by experiment using PDA system were simulated by the Monte-Carlo simulation. The etching process model was coded by Java language. It was found that the spray characteristics were correlated with the etching ones and simulation results generally agreed well with the measured results of etching characteristics in the etching process of Lead-Frame. The optimal operating parameters were successfully found under variable conditions.

  • In this paper forest fire statistical information management system is constructed on web environment using web based GIS(Geographic Information System) technology. Though this system, general users can easily access forest fire statistical information and obtain them in visual method such as maps, graphs, and text if they have web browsers. Moreover, officials related to forest fire can easily control and manage all information in domestic by accessing input interface, retrieval interface, and out interface. In order to implement this system, IIS 5.0 of Microsoft is used as web server and Oracle 8i and ASP(Active Server Page) are used for database construction and dynamic web page operation, respectively. Also, Arc IMS of ESRI is used to serve map data using Java and HTML as system development language. Through this system, general users can obtain the whole information related to forest fire visually in real time also recognize forest fire prevention. In addition, Forest officials can manage the domestic forest resource and control forest fire dangerous area efficiently and scientifically by analyzing and retrieving huge forest data through this system. So, they can save their manpower, time and cost to collect and manage data.

  • The explosion of the Internet, and most recently e-commerce, has caused great interest in agent technologies. The development of virtual environments has also increased in the last few years. A growing number of real-time applications use graphics with photorealistic quality, especially in the field of training, but also in the areas of design and ergonomic research. We describe an attempt to develop a framework that provides customers with multimedia information and interactive experiences with a virtual shopping environment. The application presented consists on a virtual visit to a music -store where the user is guided by an intelligent agent named Lizeth which responds in real-time to user's requests with precise information about music, artist's biographies, prices and related products to help the user to make decisions. The potential of UML and the Java programming language is discussed to show their application in the field of intelligent agents as mediators on shopping processes. We conclude that the proposed framework leads to the creation of application with a potentially significant impact in the development of e-commerce systems embedded in virtual environments.

  • The development of web-aware knowledge discovery system has received a great deal of attention in recent years. It plays a key-enabling role for competitive businesses in the E-commerce era. One of the challenges in developing web-aware knowledge discovery systems is to integrate and coordinate and coordinate existing standalone or legacy knowledge discovery applications in a seamless manner, so that cost-effective systems can be developed without the need of costly proprietary products. In this paper, we present an approach for developing a framework of web-aware interoperable knowledge discovery system to achieve this purpose. This approach applies RMI and high-level code wrapper of Java distributed object computing to address the issues of interoperability in heterogeneous environments, which includes programming language, platform, and visual object model. The effectiveness of the proposed framework is demonstrated through the integration and extension of the two well-known standalone knowledge discovery tools, SOM_PAK and Nenet. It confirms that a variety of interoperable knowledge discovery systems can be constructed efficiently on the basis of the framework to meet various requirements of knowledge discovery tasks.

  • Today, according to tremendous development of B2B e-commerce, B2B e-marketplaces which accomplish various types of transactions through a number of buyers and sellers on online are embossed importantly. However, buyers are unable to search correct products because of inconsistency of product information between buyers and sellers. This paper solved this problem as semantic web technology. Semantic Web is an extension of current Web in which information is given well-defined meaning, better enabling computers and people to work in cooperation. The Semantic Web aims at machine-processable information. Its underlying technologies are RDF, RDF Schema, and ontology as the shared formal conceptualization of particular domains. In this paper, we present an implementation of Semantic Web enabled search system for B2B E-Marketplace domains. The system exploits OWL as the standard ontology language proposed by W3C and the Jena which is a Semantic Web toolkit, namely a Java framework writing Semantic Web applications. Finally, we summarize our experiences and discuss future research topics.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 비 시각환경에서 웹 서비스를 위한 언어인 VoiceXML을 기존의 자동응답 시스템에 적용하기위해 VoiceXML문서의 마크-업을 인식하고, 문서가 문서 형정의 (DTD)에 적합한지를 검사하여 적합성이 확인되면 추상구문트리를 생성하는 DI 파서 (Document Instance Parser)와 생성된 추상구문트리를 이용하여, Voice-XML문서를 번역해주는 해석기를 제안하고자 한다. VoiceXML해석기는 DI 파서와 실행기로 구성되어 있으며, DI 파서는 Recursive descent 파싱 기법을, 실행기는 VXML 포럼에서 제안한 FIA (Form Interpretation Algorithm)를 사용하였다. 본 시스템은 VoiceXML 언어를 효율적으로 실행할 수 있는 환경 제공 및 시스템 개발의 편의성과 효율성을 위해 모듈화 설계가 가능한 자바언어를 사용함으로써 이 기종간의 이식성이 뛰어난 특징이 있다.

  • 가변적인 컴포넌트의 재사용성이나 적응성을 높이기 위해 룰 기반 컴포넌트 개발 방법들이 제안되고 있다. 룰 기반 컴포넌트 개발에서 사용하는 룰 엔진들은 룰을 표현하기 위해 추가적인 스크립트 언어가 필요하며 따라서 복잡한 비즈니스 룰을 표현하는데 어려움이 많다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 룰 표현과 성능 향상을 위한 컴파일러 기반의 룰 엔진을 제안한다. 제안한 룰 엔진은 룰의 컨디션과 액션 부분을 표현하기 위해 자바 프로그래밍 언어를 사용한다. 따라서 복잡한 비즈니스 룰을 쉽게 표현할 수 있으며 실행 시에 동적으로 룰의 컨디션과 액션 객체를 생성해서 실행시킬 수 있다. 성능 면에서도 제안한 룰 엔진은 스크립트 기반 룰 엔진보다 우수하다. 성능 실험에 의하면 컴파일러 기반의 룰 엔진 성능은 스크립트 기반 룰 엔진인 JSR-94 보다 2.5배의 높은 성능을 보이고 있다.
