컴퓨터 지원 협동작업(Computer Supported Cooperative Work, CSCW)을 실혐시키는 그룹웨어에 대한 연구는 여러 분야에서 활발히 이루어지고 있으나, 공동 프로젝트 수행시 참여자간 의사 소통에 필요한 정보 공유를 위해 효율적인 자료 기록 및 검색에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 공동 작업시 필요한 자료 공유와 효과적인 검색을 위하여 DBMS 질의를 이용한 자료 기록과 검색 뿐 아니라 규칙 기반의 검색 엔진 설계를 포함하는 지능적인 검색기능을 제공하는 그룹웨어 회의 시스템인 IReRCoS(Record and Retrieval based Conferencing System)를 설계한다. JAVA Applet 인터페이스를 통해 공유 자료 기록 조건과 검색 조건을 입력하고 데이터베이스에 저장된 자료를 MSSQL 질의어 및 JESS의 검색 엔진을 통해 해당 파일을 추출한다. IReRCoS는 지능적인 공유자료 기록 및 검색 기능을 지원함으로써 컴퓨터 기반의 다수가 참여한 공동 작업을 원활히 수행할 수 있는 통합된 그룹웨어 환경을 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다.

본 논문에서는 통계 어플리케이션을 웹 서버에서 내려받기 하여 클라이언트에 저장, 설치하고 stand alone 형태로 운영되도록 개발된 DAVIS에 대하여 개발 기법과 구현된 형태를 연구하고, 서버 기반의 통계 프로그램과 클라이언트 기반의 통계 프로그램에 대하여 고찰한다. 그리고 이들 유형에 대한 장단점을 파악하여 좀 더 발전된 통계학습시스템의 설계 방안을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 클라이언트 요청에 의하여 클라이언트에서 어플리케이션이 실행되고, 통계 데이터는 데이터베이스 서버에서 로드하거나 사용자에 의해 클라이언트에서 입력하는 형태로 설계되어 통계 분석을 수행토록 한다.

In this paper we present 3-D Navigation View, a three-dimensional visualization of indoor environment which serves as an intuitive and unified user interface for our developed indoor location tracking system via Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) in web environment. The extracted user's spatial information from indoor location tracking system was further processed to facilitate the location indication in virtual 3-D indoor environment based on his location in physical world. External Authoring Interface (EAI) provided by VRML enables the integration of interactive 3-D graphics into web and direct communication with the encapsulated Java applet to update position and viewpoint of user periodically in 3-D indoor environment. As any web browser with VRML viewer plug-in is able to run the platform independent 3-D Navigation View, specialized and expensive hardware or software can be disregarded.

Recently, various web page development tools for both the beginner and the experienced user are introduced. These tools allow them to generate web pages easily and quickly. However the web pages generated by the tools have lots of functional limitations. Generally authors must have much knowledge for web authoring tools, HTML, CGI programming to open web sites for special purpose. Especially, most of the lecture supporting web site necessarily requires much effort to construct it as well as special functions using CGI, Javascript, Java Applet, etc. to generate dynamic web pages. In order to solve above mentioned limitations, we design and implement an automatic web site construction system using RASIS based on remote execution technologies.

The area of business applications in the internet are extended enormously in result of fast development of computing and communication technologies, increase of internet use, and use of intranet/extranet in enterprise information system. Widely spread the use of the internet, there are various applications for Business to Business (B to B) or Business to Customer(B to C) model that are based on the intranet or extranet. This paper designed and implemented the Web-based Electronic Bidding System for Business to Business (B to B) model. The technical issues of electronic bidding system in the internet are involved in the connection between web client and server, electronic data interchange for the contract document, and security solution during the bidding and contracting processes. The web-based electronic bidding system in this paper is implemented using Java applet and servlet as a connection interface for web client and server, XML/EDI-based documents for a bid and a contract, and bidding server and notary server for enhancing the security using PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)-based public key cryptography, digital signature and Certification Authority(CA).

Medications or cognitive-behavior methods have been mainly used as a treatment of alcoholism. lately the virtualy technology has been applied to the kink of alcoholic disorders. A virtual environment makes him having ability to over come the drink. In this study, we were implemented by making panorama images and 3D object modules using 3D Studio MAX. VRML, JAVA Applet. And the BAR stimulator that composed with a position sensor head mount display, and audio system, is suggested. To illustrate the physiological difference between a person who has a alcoholism and and without a liquor bottle, heart rate was measured during experiment, and also measured a Person's HR after the virtual reality training. we demonstrated the subjective effectiveness of virtual reality psychotherapy through the clinical experiment.

In this paper, a Web-based management system for the building network is described. A multi-protocol converter based on SoC and embedded Linux is designed. The open source licensing, reliability, and broad hardware support are key reasons for use of embedded Linux in embedded industry. The multi-protocol converter integrates control network of RS-485 and LonWorks devices through TCP/IP protocol for a client with Java applet. The system consists of three-tier architecture, such as a client, a server that is performed on a multi-protocol converter, and control devices. The developed system includes the inverter motor control system with modbus protocol for the RS-485 network. The experiment results show that the multi-protocol converter using embedded Linux is a flexible and effective way to builda Web -based monitoring and control system.

A grid generation program for specific problems is introduced. The program allows users to easily generate grid system for specific geometry such as an airfoil, cylinder, wedge, flat plate, and nozzle. Generating grid system for those problems can be proceeded with minimum user inputs such as geometry-defining parameters and grid-defining parameters. By using this program learning stage for preprocessing of CFD application can be efficiently shorten and novice students can learn and acquire experience by trying out grid generation and CFD solution by themselves.

본 논문에서는 자바 기반의 비디오 스트리밍을 위한 시스템의 설계와 구현에 대해 논한다. 웹 브라우저를 통해 수행되는 애플릿(applet) 형식의 클라이언트는 지역 디스크에 존재할 필요가 없고 플랫폼에 대한 독립성(independence)과 이식성(portability)을 가질수 있다. 본 논문에서는 실험을 통해서 이러한 비디오 스트리밍 시스템의 유용성을 검증했다.

기존의 WebGIS는 구현방법에 따라서 서버중심과 클라이언트중심의 WebGIS모델로 구분할 수 있다. 서버중심의 WebGIS모델은 결과데이터가 이미지(JPG,GIF)로 클라이언트에 전송되므로 사용자는 기본적인 GIS 기능만을 처리할 수 있고, 데이터 확대 시 데이터가 손상되는 문제들이 있다. 클라이언트 중심의 WebGIS모델은 벡터데이터(Java-applet, ActiveCGM) 전송을 위해 고가의 특정 소프트웨어를 구입해야 하고, 플랫폼에 의존적이며, 표준화된 포맷이 아니므로 웹에서 데이터 상호 전송 및 호환의 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 WebGIS모델의 전반적인 분석을 통해서 각기 구축된 WebGIS의 구현방법과 문제점에 대해 고찰해 본다. 그리고 이런 문제점들이 대안인 XML(extensible Markup Language)으로 기술된 GML (Geographic Markup Language)과 SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics)를 이용한 WebGIS에 대한 연구와 향후 우리가 연구해야 할 방향에 대해 모색해 본다.
