P2P(peer­to­peer) 방식의 통신 모델의 강점은, 기존의 Server­Client 모델에 비해 Server에 대한 의존도가 낮고, 중앙 집중의 제어를 받지 않는다는 것이다. 그러나, 현재 사용되고 있는 일반적인 P2P 모델들은 서비스의 성격과 시스템 환경이 달라, 서로 호환되지 않는 문제가 있다. 썬 마이크로시스템사에서 제안한 JXTA는 프로그래밍언어와 플랫폼에 독립적으로 개발 가능한 P2P 모델로서 다양한 환경에서 적용이 가능하다. 그러나 이러한 JXTA를 무선환경에서 원활하게 적용하기에는 J2ME Device의 제한된 자원으로는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 J2ME Device를 위해 JXTA기반의 Relay를 사용하여 무선환경에서 유연하게 적용되는 P2P 서비스를 구현하였다.

In general, the wireless services based on markup language and provided with wired network requires dedicated gateway system. But in this case, the serious problems such as security vulnerabilities, damage of contents are occurred to the application. In this paper, to improve above problems, we designed and implemented the new application named "Interacted Wired St Wireless Student Information System" using J2ME(Java 2 Micro Edition) platform and XML(eXtensible Markup Language) to transmit user data safely and support the system extendibility maintaining data format consistency respectively.pectively.

임베디드 자바플랫폼을 정의하는 J2ME는 컨피규레이션에 따라 크게 CLDC와 CDC로 구분된다. CLDC 자바 플랫폼은 저사양 휴대 단말 등에 탑재되어 널리 상용화되고 있으며, CLDC와 비교하여 CDC 자바 플랫폼은 자바2와 호환 가능한 완전한 JVM이 포함되고 고기능의 폭넓은 자바 API의 지원이 가능하므로 홈서버, 디지털 TV, 텔레매틱스 분야 및 고사양 모바일 단말 등에서 제공될 신규 서비스를 위한 자바 플랫폼으로 지목되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 클린룸으로 구현한 JVM과 GNU 프로젝트인 Classpath를 기반으로 구현한 PP 규격의 클래스 라이브러리를 통합한 CDC 자바 플랫폼 개발에 대해 기술한다.

J2ME(Java 2 Micro Edition)는 소비자/임베디드 디바이스 시장을 목표로 한 자바2 플랫폼으로서 이는 컨피규레이션(Configuration)과 프로파일(Profile)로 구성된다. SLDC/ MIDP(Connected Limited Device Configuration/Mobile Information Device Profile)는 그 중에서도 휴대폰과 양방향 페이저 같은 제한된 메모리를 가진 장치 위에서 사용되는 플랫폼이다. 본 논문에서는 J2ME 기반 하에서 CLDC/MIDP를 이용하여 보안모듈을 작성하고 휴대폰에서도 안전한 전자서명 및 전자지불을 가능케 하여 Mobile Commerce의 기초를 이루었다. 여기서 서명은 XML 기반으로 구성되었고, 시스템은 MIDlet으로 구현하였다.

The present experiment was conducted to determine the digestible energy (DE), metabolizable energy (ME) content, and the apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) of energy in growing pigs fed diets containing one of ten cottonseed meals (CSM) collected from different provinces of China and to develop in vitro prediction equations for DE and ME content from chemical composition of the CSM samples. Twelve growing barrows with an initial body weight of $35.2{\pm}1.7$ kg were allotted to two $6{\times}6$ Latin square designs, with six barrows and six periods and six diets for each. A corn-dehulled soybean meal diet was used as the basal diet, and the other ten diets were formulated with corn, dehulled soybean meal and 19.20% CSM. The DE, ME and ATTD of gross energy among different CSM sources varied largely and ranged from 1,856 to 2,730 kcal/kg dry matter (DM), 1,778 to 2,534 kcal/kg DM, and 42.08 to 60.47%, respectively. Several chemical parameters were identified to predict the DE and ME values of CSM, and the accuracy of prediction models were also tested. The best fit equations were: DE, kcal/kg DM = 670.14+31.12 CP+659.15 EE with $R^2$ = 0.82, RSD = 172.02, p<0.05; and ME, kcal/kg DM = 843.98+25.03 CP+673.97 EE with $R^2$ = 0.84, RSD = 144.79, p<0.05. These results indicate that DE, ME values and ATTD of gross energy varied substantially among different CSM sources, and that some prediction equations can be applied to predict DE and ME in CSM with an acceptable accuracy.

WAP을 이용하는 무선인터넷 서비스의 경우, WAP Gateway를 통하여 http 프로토콜과 연동하여 통신한다. 따라서 사용자들은 무선 인터넷 서비스 비용 증가와 함께 WAP Gateway에서 사용자의 정보를 감시할수 있기 때문에 내적 보안의 취약성이 대두되었다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 플랫폼독립적이고, 비용감소, 좀더 강화된 보안성과 다운로드가능한 어플리케이션을 위하여 자바언어을 사용하여소켓통신을 이용하여 유.무선 메시징 시스템(WWMS)은 PC 클라이언트와 Moblie 클라이언트, Mobile 클라이언트와 Mobile 클라이언트, 각각에서 실시간으로 통신할 수있다. 본 논문에서는 J2ME를 이용한 멀티 플랫폼 유.무선 메시징 시스템을 설계하고 구현함으로써, 향후 다양한 Mobile 응용프로그램들을 개발하는데 기초가 될것이다.

In this paper, recognizing the importance of the database query optimization design methods, we implemented mobile database with mobile program (J2ME) which is a useful database procedures. In doing so, we emphasize the logical query optimization which brings mobile database to performance improvement. The research implies that the suggested mobile program (J2ME) would contribute to the realization of the efficient mobile database as the related technology develops in the future.

인터넷의 접속환경이 유선에서 무선으로 급격하게 진행되고 있지만 무선에서 사용되는 인터넷 지원 환경은 Text 기반의 WAP 서비스가 주종을 이루고 있어서 멀티미디어 서비스와 같은 다양한 잇점을 제공하는 새로운 프로그램 개발방식과 구조가 필요한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 Mobile 기기와 웹 서버간의 멀티미디어 및 다양한 컨텐츠 제공이 가능한 J2ME 기반 모바일 서버 연동 기법을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 기법은 현재 많은 무선인터넷 서비스 업체에서 적용하고 있는 VM(Virtual Machine)에 적용시 예상되는 서버 연동 문제를 해결할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

현재 무선단말기를 비롯한 많은 내장형 기기에서 자바 플랫폼을 채택하고 있다. 내장형 기기는 제공되는 메모리 용량의 제약으로 인하여 J2ME 플랫폼을 주로 사용하고 있다. J2ME 플랫폼은 CDC와 CLDC 컨피큐레이션으로 나뉘며. CDC는 JAVA 어플리케이션의 수행에 있어서 JVM보다 적은 동적 수행 메모리를 요구하는 CVM을 채택하고 있다. CDC는 CLDC에 비하여 메모리의 제약이 상대적으로 적은 셋탑박스 등과 같은 내장형 기기에서 주로 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 J2ME 플랫폼의 VM중에 하나인 CVM상에서 어플리케이션 수행에 따른 Generational GC의 특성에 대하여 알아본다. 특히 오브젝트의 life time, 가비지 컬렉션 주기 pause time 및 young generation의 크기에 따른 동작 특성을 중점적으로 고찰한다.
