  • Most web-based learning is furnishing single side and consistent training resource to learner. Research was gone to apply item analysis method or to introduce web-based learning system using studying pattern. But, we need complicated algorithm or parameter setting etc, for apply these method. Therefore, in this research, we design and implement an item selection system in consideration of learner's incorrectness rate and problem frequency selection rate about question of item selection attribute. Also, as that embody business logic about item selection by EJB, efficient system development is available and we improved maintenance and reusability.

  • When designing a test set, we need to consider constraints on items that are deemed important by item developers or test specialists. The constraints are essentially on the components of the test domain or abilities relevant to a given test set. And so if the test domain could be represented in a more refined form, test construction would be made in a more efficient way. We assume that relationships among task abilities are representable by a causal model and that the item response theory (IRT) is not fully available for them. In such a case we can not apply traditional item selection methods that are based on the IRT. In this paper, we use entropy as an uncertainty measure for making inferences on task abilities and developed an optimal item selection algorithm which reduces most the entropy of task abilities when items are selected from an item pool.

  • We have to select business Item at various alternatives through BMO Evaluation Method. This study suggested selection method best business item using Visual Basic Program. Selection item of business item is technically power, capital strength, business administration capability, Maketings, Possible total sales, Goods of future growth, Expectations of competition goods, Creation of goods, and Management. Evaluation of each item value, add total values. It is important that business item selected well for adapted business. It should be able to decide business item using this study's program.

  • One of the most fundamental problems in business is ranking items with respect to profit based on historical transactions. The difficulty is that the profit of one item comes from its influence on the sales of other items as well as its own sales, and that there is no well-developed algorithm for estimating overall profit of selected items. In this paper, we developed a product network based on association rule and an algorithm for profit estimation and item selection using the estimated profit ranking(EPR). As a result of computer simulation, the suggested algorithm outperforms the individual approach and the hub-authority profit ranking algorithm.

  • As consumer's desire becomes various, agility of mold manufacturing is the most important factor for competitive mold manufacturer. Decision making process is required to produce optimal result of CAM systems in using commercial CAM system to generate tool path. The paper proposes a methodology fur computer-assisted tool selection procedures for various cutting type of rough, semi-rough and finish cuts. The procedure provides assistance for machining tool selection by analyzing sliced CAD model section of die cavity and core. Information about machining time for the generated NC-code is used to aid the tool selection. The module is developed with commercial CAM API. This module will be used fur the optimization of tool selection and planning process.

  • The main purpose of this paper is cost reduction in absurd pilot positive expense and human accident prevention which is caused by in the pilot selection process. We use classification models such as logistic regression, decision tree, and neural network based on aptitude test results of 505 ROK Air Force applicants in 2001~2004. First, we determine the reliability and propriety against the aptitude test system which has been improved. Based on this conference flight simulator test item was compared to the new aptitude test item in order to make additional yes or no decision from different models in terms of classification accuracy, ROC and Response Threshold side. Decision tree was selected as the most efficient for each sequential flight training result and the last flight training results predict excellent. Therefore, we propose that the standard of pilot selection be adopted by the decision tree and it presents in the aptitude test item which is new a conference flight simulator test.

A Structure of Personalized e-Learning System Using On/Off-line Mixed Estimations Based on Multiple-Choice Items

  • In this paper, we present a structure of personalized e-Learning system to study for a test formalized by uniform multiple-choice using on/off line mixed estimations as is the case of Driver :s License Test in Korea. Using the system a candidate can study toward the license through the Internet (and/or mobile instruments) within the personalized concept based on IRT(item response theory). The system accurately estimates user's ability parameter and dynamically offers optimal evaluation problems and learning contents according to the estimated ability so that the user can take possession of the license in shorter time. In order to establish the personalized e-Learning concepts, we build up 3 databases and 2 agents in this system. Content DB maintains learning contents for studying toward the license as the shape of objects separated by concept-unit. Item-bank DB manages items with their parameters such as difficulties, discriminations, and guessing factors, which are firmly related to the learning contents in Content DB through the concept of object parameters. User profile DB maintains users' status information, item responses, and ability parameters. With these DB formations, Interface agent processes user ID, password, status information, and various queries generated by learners. In addition, it hooks up user's item response with Selection & Feedback agent. On the other hand, Selection & Feedback agent offers problems and content objects according to the corresponding user's ability parameter, and re-estimates the ability parameter to activate dynamic personalized learning situation and so forth.

Design of Online Assessment Item Management System (온라인 평가 문항 관리 시스템의 설계)

  • This paper presents the online assessment questions management system and method. The proposed system consists of a database to store learner information and zone-specific items grouped by difficulty and item bank. This database includes: an item selection department and authoring assessment to select questions about a particular learner or specific learning item. In this paper, we propose: an item bank database which stores online output assessments; and an online test department to collect and sort learner evaluation data and answer selection order for online tests, click statistics, response time, and analysis unit response patterns department by analyzing the data collected by the online learners' test assessment, learners' level and ability, the diagnosis and assessment of report propensity. The proposed system will diagnose and effectively evaluate the learner's learning levels and learning ability by: answer selection order, number of clicks, and response time reflected in the results of the learners' evaluations.

Longitudinal Study about Science Process Skills Item Forms Transition before and after Scholastic Ability Test for College (과학(科學) 탐구능력(探究能力) 평가(評價) 문항(問項) 유형(類型) 변화(變化)에 관(關)한 종단적(縱斷的) 연구(硏究))

  • This study investigated the literature about science process skills' evaluation to analyse transition of evaluation objectives before and after a Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance. In the literature survey the researcher established a 3 dimensional science assessment framework with X axis as science concept, Y axis as science process skills and Z axis as problem context. In order to analysis and compare each items the researcher selected 210 items from the 1st to the 7th trials and 138 items from the 1st to 4th Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance and sampled 2873 science achievement test items from 10 high schools. In accordance with this taxonomy the researcher analysed and compared science process skills item forms. The following results were drawn : The items were evenly distributed in all the four areas(Earth Science, Biology, Physics and Chemistry) of the science concept domain, but they were heavily concentrated on data analysis and drawing a conclusion in science process domain. In the domain of problem context school context was the majority. In spite of distribution like this the ratio on science process skills measurement items and science achievement test items was increased after the Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance was given. Also the ratio on item expression type was increased. Item form was almost 5 options selection type in the national level test. Although there were 4 options selection type, 5 options selection type, short answer type, essay type in school level test, rising from 33.1% to 65.5% on 5 options selection type is exhibited. This study showed that the school level item form was better various than the nation level. This point like this is the evidence for the improvement toward the science process skills test and influenced by Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance. The ratio on the item which joined with the 3 axes had a mean of 99.3% in nation level test and mean 44.9% in school achievement test level. But the ratio in the school achievement test level increased after the Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance was given. In view of this study we must furthermore study the item types which can evaluate valjdately science process skill's five stage each and evaluation method by the high school students' problem solving patterns and features in scientific inquiry on all science process skills elements.

  • Recently, selects method of waterproofing where is suitable with method and material physical properties, construction technique, Productive technique and specifications and maintenance techniques evaluation for the same evaluation method is coming to be presented. Respects the application which select system is substantial objectively reflects a weight to evaluation item the research for is necessary. This research the evaluation which in order is effective and the decision-making to be possible about technically countermeasures for a quality security from waterproofing materials, method selection processes, clearly responsible dividing of construction and maintenance techniques. A sets weight of evaluation item for right select system, it stratify the causes which affect in priority based on AHP.
