전기화학적 촉진법에 의한 콘크리트의 염화물이온 확산계수 평가에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Evaluation of Coefficient of Chloride Diffusion by Electrochemical Accelerated Test in Concrete)

  • In this study, to confirm the diffusion coefficient of chloride ion is affected by the concentration of NaCl solution, capacity of voltage, time of an electric current, the diffusion coefficient of chloride ion in concrete was investigated through an electrochemical accelerated test. and the results of these test were compared with the diffusion coefficient of chloride ion by test of sodium chloride solution digestion. As the results of this study, the diffusion coefficient of chloride ion wasn't affected by the concentration of NaCl solution, capacity of voltage, time of an electric current within the range of this study and was similar to the diffusion coefficient of chloride ion by test of sodium chloride solution digestion.

비이온성 계면활성제의 미셀 콜로이드에 의한 $Ca^{2+}$의 은폐에 대한 연구 (The Study for the Sequestration of $Ca^{2+}$ by the Micelle Colloid of Nonionic Sunactants)

  • The effects of $Ca_{2+}$ ion on the formation of micelle colloid of nonionic surfactants, nonylphenol-(ethylene oxide)n [NP-(EO)n: n= 11, 40, 100) were investigated by the iodine solubilization method. The characteristics of spectra depended on the concentration of $Ca_{2+}$ ion and the number of EO unit. Above CMC(critical micelle concentration), the intensity of the CT (charge transfer) band by the addition of $Ca_{2+}$ ion for the NP-(EO)11 and NP-(EO)40 increased and when decreased and for the NP-(EO)In continuously increased. The increase in the intensity of CT band were attributed to the compactness of micelle in the presence of $Ca_{2+}$ ion. These phenomena may be explained by the fact that the linear ethylene oxide (EO) chain, relatively free to assume various configuration in aqueous solution, could form a pseudo-crown ether structures capable of forming complexes with $Ca_{2+}$ ion.

강수 분석자료의 신뢰성 검토에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quality Assuranc of Chemical Analysis Data of Precipitation Samples)

  • In order to ensure that all major cations and anions were accurately measured, the quality assurance checks of chemical analysis data by considering ion and conductivity balance of each precipitation sample were performed. To check the quality assurance of chemical analysis data, precipitation samples were collected by wet- only precipitation sampler at Seoul site and their chemical components were analyzed. By checking the problems for the screening methods of chemical analysis data used until recently, the f value expressed as the ratio of the sum of cations and anions equivalent concentration( $\Sigma $C/$\Sigma $A ) was found to be not ap priorate for data screening. Also, the scattering plot between cation and anion equivalent concentrations in each sample was found to show the general tendency of ion balance but was proved to not quantitate the standard of data screening at a set of samples of various concentration levels.4 more appropriate value was therefore required, h value is defined as (A-C)/C for C≥A and ( A-C)/A for C<4. This value was showed to check the ion balance in a viewpoint of quantitative as well as qualitative and to be useful in applying this expression to a measurement data set. However, the standard o( data screening must vary in response to the ion concentration of sample. In this study, the quality assurance of chemical analysis data was checked by considering both the ion balance evaluating by h value and the electrical conductivity. As these quality assurance checks were applied to Seoul data serf 67 valid samples were obtained. The result of statistical summary in the analytical parameter of precipitation samples collected for a certain period was found to be computed in the precipitation volume- weighted mean( VWM) rather than the arithmetic mean( AM), but PH In the VWM of hydrogen ion concentration. The annual VWM of pH values was 5.0(4.9 ∼ 5.1).

방역작업자의 브롬화메틸(methyl bromide) 노출수준과 생물학적 모니터링 (Environmental and biological monitoring of workers exposed to methyl bromide through quarantine fumigation)

  • This study was performed to estimate environmental and biological monitoring of workers exposed to methyl bromide through quarantine fumigation. Airborne methyl bromide and it's metabolites were analyzed by gas chromatography and ion chromatography, respectively. The results are as followings; airborne concentration of methyl bromide(TWA) was $2.08{\pm}1.56ppm$(N=8). Dispersion and setting/degas groups were $0.67{\pm}0.12ppm$(N=2) and $2.54{\pm}1.53ppm$(N=6), respectively. Bromide ion concentration in serum was $23.40{\pm}14.91mg/{\ell}$(N=10) in the exposed workers and $4.74{\pm}0.82mg/{\ell}$(N=21) in the non-exposed workers. Bromide ion concentration in urine was $35.56{\pm}26.89mg/{\ell}$(N=11) in exposed group and $6.62{\pm}2.31mg/{\ell}$(N=21) in non-exposed group. Good correlation was observed between concentration of serum and urine ($r^2$=0.890 p<0.01). No significant correlations of other determinants were observed. Calculated from a regressive curve, the biological half lifes of serum and urine were 10.7 and 5.9 days. In these results, biological monitoring of bromide ion of serum and urine provided useful information for evaluating exposure of workers to methyl bromide, so that an availability of bromide ion of biological samples was showed as biological monitoring indices for methyl bromide.

  • Based on the 4-compartmental pharmacokinetic model developed in PART1, target-controlled infusion(TCI) pump system was designed and evaluated. The TCI system consists of digital board including microcontroller and digital signal process(DSP), analog board, motor-driven actuator, user friendly interface, power management and controller. It provides two modes according to the drugs: plasma target concentration and effect target concentration. Anaesthetist controls the depth of anaesthesia for patients by adjusting the required concentration to maintain both plasma and effect site in drug concentration. The data estimated in DSP include infusion rate, initial load dose, and rotation number of motor encoder. During TCI operation, plasma concentration. effect site concentration, awaken concentration, context-sensitive decrement time and system error information are displayed in real time. Li-ion battery guarantees above 2 hours without power line failure. For high reliability of the system, two microprocessors were used to perform independent functions for both pharmacokinetic algorithm and motor control strategy.

Eu3+ 함량비가 Y1-xPO4:Eux3+ 적색 형광체의 발광 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Eu3+ Concentration on the Photoluminescence Properties of Y1-xPO4:Eux3+ Red Phosphor)

  • 고상 반응법을 사용하여 $Eu^{3+}$ 이온의 함량비를 변화시키면서 $Y_{1-x}PO_4:{Eu_x}^{3+}$ 적색 형광체를 합성하였다. 모든 적색 형광체의 결정 구조는 $25.88^{\circ}$에 중심을 갖는 (200) 주 회절 피크로 구성되는 정방정계이었으며, 결정 입자의 형상은 $Eu^{3+}$ 이온의 함량비가 증가함에 따라 구형에 근접하고 균일한 크기 분포를 나타내었다. 형광 특성의 경우에, $Eu^{3+}$ 이온의 함량비에 관계없이 모든 세라믹은 파장 593.0과 619.2 nm에 피크를 갖는 각각 적주황색과 적색 형광을 나타내었다. $Eu^{3+}$ 이온의 함량비가 증가함에 따라 여기 스펙트럼의 파장은 약간씩 장파장 쪽으로 이동하면서 흡수 세기는 증가하는 경향을 보였으며, $Eu^{3+}$ 이온의 함량비가 0.15 mol일 때 최대 흡수 및 발광 스펙트럼이 관측되었다.

새로운 HDBPDA와 Dowex 이온교환수지의 이온교환 특성 (Ion Exchange Characteristics of Novel HDBPDA and Dowex Ion Exchange Resins)

  • 새로운 HDBPDA 이온교환수지, {(4, 5) : (13, 14)-Dibenzo-6, 9, 12-trioxa-3, 15, 21, -triazabicyclo [15. 3. 1]heneicosa-(1, 17, 19)(18, 20, 21) triene ion exchange resin : HDBPDA ion exchange resin}의 이온교환용량은 3.8meq/g이었다. 그리고 HDBPDA와 강산성 양이온교환수지인 Dowex 50W-X8(200-400mesh)에 대한 알칼리 및 알칼리 토금속 이온의 분포계수를, 물과 여러 농도의 염산 용액 중에서 측정하였다. HDBPDA 이온교환수지에 대한 금속 이온들의 분포계수는 염산 농도의 영향을 크게 받지 않았으나, 일반적으로 염산의 농도가 감소할수록 점진적으로 약간 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 그리고 물 속에서의 분포계수가 가장 컸다. Dowex 50W-X8에 대한 알칼리 및 알칼리 토금속 이온들의 분포계수는 염산 농도의 감소에 따라 증가하였으며, 특히 알칼리 토금속 이온들의 분포계수가 알칼리 금속 이온들에 비하여 훨씬 더 급격하게 증가하였다. HDBPDA 이온교환수지에 대한 알칼리 및 알칼리 토금속이온들의 분포계수는, 염산 농도에 대하여 직선적으로 변화하였으며, 그 기울기, d log Kd/d log $M_{HCl}$은 약-0.2였다. 그러나 Dowex 50W-X8에 대한 알칼리 및 알칼리 토금속 이온들의 경우, 보통의 염산 농도하에서 그 기울기는 각각 약 -1 및 -2였다. 그러나 매우 묽은 염산 농도하에서는 분포계수와 염산 농도 사이의 직선 관계는 성립하지 않았으며, 그 기울기는 위의 값으로부터 벗어났다.

배양액 내의 마그네슘 이온이 생쥐 초기 배아 발생에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Magnesium Ion in the Culture Medium on the Development of Preimplantation Mouse Embryos In Vitro)

  • Objective: The present study was undertaken to examine the effects of magnesium ion in the culture medium on the development of mouse fertilized oocytes either before or after pronuclear formation, and to investigate whether the effect of magnesium ion is related with the redistributional change of mitochondria. Methods : Fertilized oocytes obtained from the oviducts of mice at 15 hr after hCG injection before pronuclear formation (pre-PN) or 21 hr after hCG injection after pronuclear formation (post-PN) were used. The embryos were cultured for 3 days with basic T6 medium-magnesium free and various concentrations of magnesium ion, 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0 or 8.0 mM, respectively. After culture, the developmental stages of embryos and the number of nuclei were evaluated. To observe the effects of magnesium ion on the mitochondrial distribution, fertilized oocytes were collected at 21 hr after hCG injection and cultured for 6 hr with various concentration of magnesium ion. As a control, fertilized oocytes with pronuclei at 27 hr after hCG injection were used. Results: The concentration of magnesium ion to accelerate the in vitro development of mouse fertilized oocytes appeared to be at 2.0 mM for the pre-PN and the post-PN stage embryos. In the mitochondrial redistribution patterns, the embryos cultured in 2.0 mM concentration of magnesium ion showed the highest percentage (22.6%) of distinct perinuclear clustering pattern comparing to other experimental group. Conclusion: The effect of magnesium ion may be related to the cytoplasmic redistribution of mitochondria. This relationship seems to connect the developmental competence of preimplantation mouse embryos in vitro. These results can suggest that higher concentration of magnesium ion (2.0 mM) than those of conventional culture medium ($0.2{\sim}1.2\;mM$) is more suitable for in vitro culture of preimplantation mouse embryos.

폴리비닐알콜을 이용한 직접메탄을 연료전지용 이온교환막 제조에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Preparation of the Poly(vinyl alcohol) ion Exchange Membranes for Direct Methanol Fuel cell)

  • 본 연구는 직접메탄을 연료전지(Direct Methanol Fuel Cell, DMFC)용 전해질 막으로 이용되는 양이온교환막의 개발에 관한 것이다. 투과증발공정에서 메탄을 Barrier로 잘 알려져 있는 Poly(vinyl alcohol)을 Base polymer로 사용하고 양이온 교환기가 포함되어 있는 Poly(acrylic acid)를 가교제로 사용하여 가교제의 함량변화에 따른 메탄을 투과도(Methanol permeability), 이온전도도(Ion conductivity), 이온교환용량(Ion exchange capacity), 함수율(Water content), 고정이온농도(Fixed ion concentration)를 통해 막 특성을 측정하였다. 메탄올 투과도와 이온전도도는 가교제인 PAA함량이 증가함에 따라 감소하다가 15%이상에서는 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 이것은 가교제의 함량증가로 인한 가교의 영향과 가교제에 포함되어 있는 친수성기의 도입으로 이와 같은 결과가 나타난다고 예상된다. 실험결과를 통해 DMFC에 적용가능성이 있는 막은 $25^{\circ}C,\; 50^{\circ}C$에서의 메탄을 투과도가 $6.49{\times}10^{-8}/cm^2/s,\; 2.85{\times}10^{-7}/cm^2/s$, $25^{\circ}C,\; 50^{\circ}C$에서의 이온전도도가 $2.66{\times}10^{-3}\;S/cm,\; 9.16{\times}10^{-3}\;S/cm,$ 이온교환용량이 1.32 meq/g membrane, 함수율이 0.25 g $H_2O$/g membrane, 고정이온농도가 5.25 meq/g $H_2O$인 PVA/PAA-$160^{\circ}C$ 15% 막으로 예측된다.

콘크리트의 염소이온 확산특성에 미치는 시멘트 종류의 영향 (Influence of Cement Type on the Diffusion Characteristics of Chloride Ion in Concrete)

  • To predict service life of concrete structures exposed to chloride attack, surface chloride concentration, diffusion coefficient of chloride ion, and chloride corrosion threshold value in concrete, are used as important factors. of these, as the diffusion coefficient of chloride ion for concrete is strongly influenced by concrete quality and environmental conditions of structures and may significantly change the service life of structures, it is considered as the most important factor for service life prediction. The qualitative factors affecting the penetration and diffusion of chloride ion into concrete are water-binder(W/B) ratio, age, cement type and constituents, chloride ion concentration of given environment, wet and dry conditions, etc. In this paper the influence of cement type on the diffusion characteristics of chloride ion in concrete was investigated through the chloride ion diffusion test. For this purpose, the diffusion characteristics in concrete with cement type such as ordinary portland cement(OPC), binary blended cement(BBC), and ternary blended cement(TBC) were estimated for the concrete with W/B ratios of 32% and 38%, respectively. It was observed from the test that the difussion characteristics of BBC containing OPC and ground granulated blast-furnace slag was found to be most excellent of the cement type used in this study.
