IoT devices frequently require input resources to communicate with various sensors or IoT platforms. IoT device wastes a lot of time as idle time or waiting time to check the data of the input resource and use the input resource. In addition, IoT devices use various input resources. We compares and analyzes input idle time and input waiting time generated from hardware serial input resource, software serial input resource, digital port input resource, and analog port input resource using Arduino widely used as IoT device. In order to design the IoT device framework, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of input resources and to design them to minimize unnecessary input idle time and input waiting time. The analog input wait time has a much larger input wait time than the digital input wait time, so it must be designed to receive analog information periodically at the appropriate timing. The characteristics of the input resources analyzed in this way help to design an efficient IoT device.

With the rapid development of 5G technology, more and more network functions are interconnected and more popular. In order to effectively manage emerging network concepts, it allows any device object in the real world to be connected anywhere and at any time through the integration of device object recognition, interaction and raw data collection technologies. In addition, IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is an architecture framework for transmitting IP-based information to the device object which can be represented as end user. Therefore, the Internet of Things and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IoT-IMS) communication platform can provide a convenient and fast way for user or device objects to deploy new application services effectively. In particular, in order to collect and manage the device information from IoT effectively in the IoT-IMS communication platform, an IoT Information Gateway (IIG) is proposed. Through the IoT Application Service (AS) scenario, the collected device information can be easily observed and managed in a unified way.

IoT-based services are being released in accordance with the aging population and the demand for well-being pursuit needs. In addition to medical device companies, companies with ideas ranging from global ICT companies to startup companies are accelerating their market entry. The areas where these services are most commonly applied are health/medical, life/safety, city/energy, automotive and transportation. Furthermore, by expanding IoT technology convergence into the area of life care services, it contributes greatly to the development of service models in the public sector. It also provides an important opportunity for IoT-related companies to open up new markets. By addressing the problems of life care services that are still insufficient. We are providing opportunities to pursue the common interests of both users and workers and improve the quality of life. In order to establish IoT-based digital life care services, it is necessary to develop convergence technologies using cloud computing systems, big data analytics, medical information, and smart healthcare infrastructure.
Many countries, especially ICT powers, are supporting IoT-based technology at a national level and this technology is actively being researched in the businesses and research institutes in an aim to develop technology and create an ecosystem. Roads in the Seoul city are building public facilities based on IoT to provide various services and conveniences for the users. However, for the full-fledged introduction and development of IoT, there are many cases where infringement on security and privacy and threat for life and safety happen. Also, as the IoT environment includes various environment technologies such as the existing sensor network, heterogeneous communication network, and devices optimized for the IoT environment, it inherits the existing security threat and various attack techniques. This paper researches the attribute based encryption technology for safe communication in the IoT environment. The data collected from the device is transmitted utilizing the attribute based encryption and by designing the key generation protocol, grades and authorities for the device and users are identified to transmit safe messages.

This paper is a IoT-based radon meter control system and a radon meter control method using it. The IoT-based radon meter control system is control system for controlling a radon meter by network-connecting radon meter and a user terminal. The radon measuring device may be provided with a radon sensor to measure a radon value of a preset management target area, it collect and store numerical data. The radon meter control system monitors the condition of the radon meter, it includes control center configured to deliver radon meter management information generated to a user terminal. Also radon measurements to determine the exact amount of radon gas. Therefore, the situation-specific actions based on radon numbers can be promptly implemented to ensure adequate protection for those who are vulnerable to radon and those who live in the area. Condition monitoring allows the radon meter to respond quickly to failure or failure of the radon meter. In addition, it is possible to secure a baseline of radon's influence and to obtain research data to cope with radon by establishing big data with radon measurements.

The recent efforts in academia and industry represent a paradigm shift that will extend the IoT from the home environment so that it is interoperable with the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). IoV is a special kind of IoT. It allows to connect between vehicle and things located in infrastructure. Furthermore, IoV enable to create new intelligent services through collaboration with existing various services such as smart city and connected home. In this paper, we develop a service in order to realize IoV. To this end, we design a novel vehicle service platform which could automatical controlling the IoT device according to drivers' voice. To show practical usability of our proposed platform, we develop a prototype service could be call car-to-thing (C2T). We expect that our proposed platform could eventually contribute to realizing IoV.
In this paper, we propose a device identification system for network visibility that can maintain the secure internal network environment in the IoT era. Recently, the area of enterprise network is getting huge and more complicated. Not only desktops and smartphones but also business pads, barcode scanners, APs, Video Surveillance, digital doors, security devices, and lots of Internet of Things (IoT) devices are rapidly pouring into the business network, and there are highly risk of security threats. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the device identification system that includes the process and module-specific functions to identify the exploding device in the IoT era. The proposed system provides in-depth visibility of the devices and their own vulnerabilities to the IT manager in company. These information help to mitigate the risk of the potential cyber security threats in the internal network and offer the unified security management against the business risks.

The Internet of Things(IoT) is a new promising technology made from a variety of technology. The IoT links the objects or people, then enabling anytime, anywhere connectivity for anything and not only for anyone. Social networking services have changed the way people communicate. Recently, new research challenges in many areas of Internet of things and social networking services are fired. In this paper, we propose things recommendation method using social relationship in social Internet of Things. We study previous researches about social network service, IoT, and social IoT. We proposed SIoT_FW(Social IoT Friendship Weight) using static and a dynamic social friendship weight. Also, our method considers four social relationships (Ownership Object Relationship, Co-Location Object Relationship, Social Object Relationship, Parental Object Relationship). We presents a music device scenario using our proposed method.

In this paper, among short-range wireless communication technologies such as Beacon, Bluetooth, UWB (Ultra-wideband), ZigBee, NFC (Near Field Communication), Z-Wave, 6LoWPAN (IPv6 over Low power WPAN), D2D (Device to Device), etc., proposed an IoT service platform based on a beacon that can provide indoor positioning. And, a beacon-linked web server was designed by blocking indiscriminate beacon spam signals and applying REST web service technology with flexibility and scalability. Data accessibility between different devices was verified by testing the success rate of data transmission, the success rate of blocking beacon push, the success rate of IoT interlocking processing, the accuracy of location positioning, and the success rate of REST web service-based data processing. Through the designed IoT service platform, various proposals and research on short-distance-based business models and service platforms will be conducted in the future.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an Infrastructure which allows to connect with each device in physical world through the Internet. Thus IoT enables to provide meahup services or intelligent services to human user using collected data from those devices. Due to these advantages, IoT is used in divers service domains such as traffic, distribution, healthcare, and smart city. However, current IoT provides restricted services because it only supports monitor and control devices according to collected data from the devices. To resolve this problem, we propose a design and implementation of personalized IoT service base on service orchestration. The proposed service allows to discover specific services and then to combine the services according to a user location. To this end, we develop a service ontology to interpret user information according to meanings and smartphone web app to use the IoT service by human user. We also develop a service platform to work with external IoT platform. Finally, to show feasibility, we evaluate the proposed system via study.
