  • As use of Internet increase, IoT(Internet Of Things), a interaction between connected devices, is widely used throughout industrial area. In this paper, we discussed what to consider when planning framework for contents using user's mobile devices and various sensors in IoT environment and suggest related techniques. Also, using the techniques suggested in this paper, we showed the prototype of the framework. Finally, we showed the possibility of games in the IoT environment by creating game in the IoT environment.

  • IoT(Internet of Things)기술은 현재 핵심 IT 트렌드 중 하나로서 여러 분야에서 앞으로도 지속적인 발전을 통해 수많은 기기가 연결 되어 빠르게 사물인터넷 시대에 도래하게 될 것이다. 이를 위해 세계 각국에서도 활발한 연구를 진행 중에 있는 한편, 아직까지 서비스 제공을 위한 개방형 통일 표준이 확립되지는 않아 이질성의 문제가 발생하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 IoT 여러 분야 중 홈 네트워크에서 사용되는 기기가 IoT화 된다고 가정하고 먼저 구현되어야 할 기본적인 공통 명령 및 데이터타입을 SNMP 프로토콜의 SMI 기반으로 설계하여 제안한다.

Open API-based Conversational Voice Interaction Scheme for Intelligent IoT Applications for the Digital Underprivileged (디지털 소외계층을 위한 지능형 IoT 애플리케이션의 공개 API 기반 대화형 음성 상호작용 기법)

  • Voice interactions are particularly effective in applications targeting the digital underprivileged who are not proficient in the use of smart devices. However, applications based on open APIs are using voice signals only for short, fragmentary input and output due to the limitations of existing touchscreen-oriented UI and API provided. In this paper, we design a conversational voice interaction model for interactions between users and intelligent mobile/IoT applications and propose a keyword detection algorithm based on the edit distance. The proposed model and scheme were implemented in an Android environment, and the edit distance-based keyword detection algorithm showed a higher recognition rate than the existing algorithm for keywords that were incorrectly recognized through speech recognition.

  • In an open, heterogeneous environment based on machine-to-machine (M2M) interactions, service selection is a critical issue and the concept of social trust can be applied to service selection so that IoT devices can make the best choice for interaction. In this paper, we propose a method for evaluating the trust level of the service and for estimating the QoS of the composite service using a profile created based on social trust relationship in IoT environment. As the service selection is made through quantitative evaluation, it is expected that the result of a more reliable service combination can be obtained.

  • IoT is attracting attention as the development of the Internet and the spread of smart devices are rapidly increasing worldwide. As IoT is integrated into everyday life, the market is getting bigger. So, experts predict that IoT devices will grow to more than one trillion in a decade. Techniques related to IoT are also being developed steadily, and studies are underway to develop IoT in various fields. However, vendors launching IoT services do not interact with data from other platforms. Therefore, it is limited to growing into a big market by facing the obstacle called the silo phenomenon. To solve this problem, web technology attracts attention. Web technology can interact with data regardless of platform, and it can not only develop various services using the data, but also reduce unnecessary costs for developers. In this paper, we have studied a web - based open IoT system that can transmit data independently in real time to the IoT platform.

  • The increase in single-person households and the development of Home IoT technology make it important to improve the convenience of the residential environment. In addition, the increase in indoor activities caused by COVID-19 calls for the development of products to make life more convenient for single-person households. This trend of increased indoor activity has made it easier to interact with the current residential environment than before, and as a result, the need to develop technology for Home IoT is emerging. Therefore, the Home IoT system will be developed to monitor the information needed to maintain an ideal indoor environment such as temperature, humidity, and fine dust. The system will also interact with users, and propose a system that improves safety in indoor activities by equipping the home with IoT sensors for preventing safety accidents such as gas leakage and fire.

  • Recently, IoT(Internet of Things) to connect the objects and people has attracted attention. And it is rapidly developing. IoT is to develop, experts are predicting that the device is connected to the Internet to break through around 100 billion within 10 years. However, the current IoT companies are having a difficult state to the other each other IoT platform for interaction between data silos effects. These silos effects will limit the IoT grow to a larger market. Thus, the IoT service supplier shall develop an open platform for interaction IoT data between each IoT platform. These web technologies for current open IoT platform has emerged. If developers are using familiar, easy-to-learn Web technologies, developers can take advantage of a variety of services for the collected data, and found the IoT devices can be bypassed if there is a problem on the network. In this paper, we investigate the data communications technology that can be used in WoT environment to overcome these silos effects. As a result, the polling method that can simply send the IoT information the fastest.

Proposing a Service based on a Social Robotic Figure that Supports Interaction Between Fans and K-pop Stars (팬과 K-pop 스타간의 상호작용을 지원하는 소셜 로봇 피규어 기반 서비스 제안)

  • According to spreading K-pop globally, the market size related to K-pop stars is increasingly growing at home and abroad. Recently, services and products having direct interaction with the star are emerging. This research aims to propose a new service using a smart, connected social robotic figure that can support interaction between fans and K-pop stars. For this study, we begin by exploring literature about K-pop culture. Also, we investigate cases that connect between fans and stars and then build the development directions for a new service. Based on these development directions, we extract feasible technology and its interaction elements through analysing the cases of social robots. Finally, we propose the social robotic figure service in this research. This service proposed in this study can create and enhance diverse bidirectional communication between fans and stars through employing a user-customized, smart, connected figure based on a IoT platform. This research contributes to approaches for sustainable advance of K-pop through applying IoT technology.

A study on the Influence of Usage Intention of IoT Healthcare service for Elderly (노인의 IoT 기반 스마트 건강관리서비스 이용의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was conducted to explain the intention of use of IoT (internet of things) healthcare service for elderly using TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). The exogenous variables were professional support, personalization, interaction, and convenience, The endogenous variables were usefulness and intention. Data were collected from 220 elderly residents aged 65 over in welfare center and were analyzed using structural equation modeling using AMOS 25.0. The result of this study showed that professional support and personalization did not significantly difference perceived usefulness, and there were significant differences interaction, and convenience. Futhermore, perceived usefulness influence intention of use of IoT healthcare service for elderly. IoT health care service for elderly is affected by perceived usefulness. This study systematically verified the elderly's intention of using IoT-based smart healthcare services. The result of this study would be able to be used as basic data for preparing strategies to enhance their intention to use the services.

지능형 IoT서비스를 위한 기계학습 기반 동작 인식 기술

  • 최근 RFID와 같은 무선 센싱 네트워크 기술과 객체 추적을 위한 센싱 디바이스 및 다양한 컴퓨팅 자원들이 빠르게 발전함에 따라, 기존 웹의 형태는 소셜 웹에서 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 웹으로 자연스럽게 진화되고 있다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 웹에서 사물인터넷(IoT)은 기존의 컴퓨터를 대체할 수 있는데, 이것은 곧 한 사람과 주변 사물들 간에 연결되는 네트워크가 확장되는 것과 동시에 네트워크 안에서 생성되는 데이터의 수가 기하급수적으로 증가되는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 보다 지능적인 IoT 서비스를 위해서는, 수많은 미가공 데이터들 사이에서 사람의 의도와 상황을 실시간으로 정확히 파악할 수 있어야 한다. 이때 사물과의 상호작용을 위한 동작 인식 기술(Gesture recognition)은 집적적인 접촉을 필요로 하지 않기 때문에, 미래의 사람-사물 간 상호작용에 응용될 수 있는 잠재력을 갖고 있다. 한편, 기계학습 분야의 최신 알고리즘들은 다양한 문제에서 사람의 인지능력을 종종 뛰어넘는 성능을 보이고 있는데, 그 중에서도 의사결정나무(Decision Tree)를 기반으로 한 Decision Forest는 분류(Classification)와 회귀(Regression)를 포함한 전 영역에 걸쳐 우월한 성능을 보이고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지능형 IoT 서비스를 위한 다양한 동작 인식 기술들을 알아보고, 동작 인식을 위한 Decision Forest의 기본 개념과 구현을 위한 학습, 테스팅에 대해 구체적으로 소개한다. 특히 대표적으로 사용되는 3가지 학습방법인 배깅(Bagging), 부스팅(Boosting) 그리고 Random Forest에 대해 소개하고, 이것들이 동작 인식을 위해 어떠한 특징을 갖는지 기존의 연구결과를 토대로 알아보았다.
