Intelligent shower booth with Aromatherapy (아로마테라피를 지원하는 지능형 샤워부스)

  • 본 논문에서는 현대인들의 일상생활 속 누적된 스트레스를 완화하고 사용자의 편의를 고려한 "아로마테라피를 지원하는 지능형 샤워부스" 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템의 주요 기능은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 적외선 온도 센서와 초음파 센서, 카메라를 통해 사용자의 신체 정보와 기분을 측정한다. 둘째, 측정된 사용자의 신체 정보를 반영하여 Linear actuator를 이용해 샤워기의 높낮이 및 수온을 자동으로 조절한다. 셋째, OpenCV와 앱 내에 만족도 평가를 통해 사용자의 기분에 따라 알맞은 아로마오일을 추천하고 이를 샤워기 필터에 주입한다. IoT기술과 연동된 샤워부스 시스템을 통해 사용자 컨디션에 맞춘 아로마테라피를 지원하여 현대인의 지친 심신 회복과 사용자 편의성이 증대될 것으로 기대된다.

Smart Factory Platform based on Multi-Touch and Image Recognition Technologies (멀티터치 기술과 영상인식 기술 기반의 스마트 팩토리 플랫폼)

  • In this work, we developed a platform that can monitor status and manage events of factory workplaces by providing events and data collected from various types of multi-touch technology based sensors installed in the workplace. By using the image recognition technology, faces of the people in the factory workplace are recognized and the customized contents for each worker are provided, and security of contents is enhanced by the authenticating an individual worker through face recognition. Contents control function through gesture recognition is constructed, so that workers can easily search documents. Also, it is possible to provide contents for workers by implementing face recognition function in mobile devices. The result of this work can be used to improve workplace safety, convenience of workers, contents security and can be utilized as a base technology for future smart factory construction.

The Development of Remote Monitoring System for Storm Overflow Chamber Device (우수토실 일체형 하수유량조절장치 원격관리시스템 개발)

  • This paper propose the remote monitoring system using LoRa networks about storm overflow chamber, which is a device designed to discharge rainwater directly to a sewage treatment plant when it reaches a certain amount of rainfall during precipitation. In this system, when the information produced by the sensor is transmitted to the LoRa network server and updated, the application server can automatically receive data through the implemented communication interface. The application server carries out management functions of storm overflow chamber devices and subscription information, collects measured flow rate and opening-closing information, and provides statistical information using the collected data. The android app performs a firebase-based notification function to prompt the user of malfunctioning of the storm overflow chamber device.

An Energy Control Model of Smart Video Devices for the Internet of Things (사물 인터넷 환경을 위한 스마트 비디오 디바이스의 에너지 제어 모델)

  • In this paper, an architecture of a perpetual smart video device and its energy control model for the internet of things (IoT) are proposed. The smart video device consists of a processor, an image sensor, a video codec, and a network controller. In the proposed energy control model, energy consumed by image sensing, video encoding, and transmission and energy harvested by solar panels are defined as an input and an output of a battery, an energy buffer. Frame rate, quantization parameter, and operating frequency of processor are defined as the energy control parameters, and these parameters control the input and the output energy of the energy buffer, finally control the energy left in the battery. The proposed energy control model is validated by the energy consumption measurement of the smart phone based platform for various combinations of energy control parameters, and can be used for the design of perpetual smart video device.

A Design on Error Tracking System for Enhanced-Reliable IoT Service (사물인터넷 서비스의 신뢰성 강화를 위한 오류 추적 시스템 설계)

  • In this paper, an error tracking platform is designed for enhanced-reliable IOT system. The platform is designed to enhance reliability of IOT system by analysing additional informations(OS, Browser, Device) and by notifying error detection to developers. Especially, in the case of an error in the service which it is difficult for developers to recognize it, The platform also supports notification services through various communication media(Email, Slack, SMS). The common interface is designed to accommodate many languages(typescript, Swift, and Android) in the development process, and the interface allows users to analyze errors that occur on various platforms, including mobile/web/desktop applications. By presenting each error in groups through issues, developers can easily identify issues in the service. The visualizing function is included to recognize various error type by dashboard.

  • HCCL stands for Heterogenous Container Class Library. HCCL is a library that allows heterogeneous types of data to be stored in a container as a single record and to be constructed as a list of the records to be stored in database. With HCCL, encryption/decryption can be done based on the unified data type. Recently, IoT sensor which is embedded in smartphone enables developers to provide various convenient services to users. However, it is also true that infringement of personal information may occur in the process of transmitting sensor information to API and users need to be prepared for this situation in some sense. In this study, we developed a data model that enhances existing security using SEED cryptographic algorithms while managing information of sensors based on HCCL. Due to the fact that the Android environment does not provide permission management function for sensors, this study decided whether or not to encrypt sensor information based on the user's choice so that the user can determine the creation and storage of safe data. For verification of this work, we have presented the performance evaluation by comparing with the situation of storing the sensor data in plaintext.

  • This paper describes the implementation of the accelerated virtual switch using Intel DPDK(Data Plane Development Kit), and evaluates the virtual network functions of the virtual switch which is one of the most important components to build a virtual network for cloud computing. Nowadays, new information service platforms are appeared from the interconnection of intelligent IT systems like IoT(Internet of Things). And many companies want to use the new service platform for their new application service. The companies can apply there new service early which needs small investment and responses adaptively to the fast change of consumer environment. Using cloud computing technology, the new business service can be introduced as a commercial IT service for the time to market. In this study, an implementation and investigation were performed for the accelerated virtual switch, called Intel DPDK virtual switch, which is using multi processors in network interface card for virtual network functions. It can be useful for Internet-oriented companies to leverage the new cloud service and businesses for its creativeness.

  • In this paper, it is a system that informs people who take medication periodically to facilitate the convenience of the elderly and the disabled. It is a system that measures the full weight of pills that need to be taken for a week using a weight sensor, and then determines whether or not the pills are taken by measuring the weight of the reduced pills again when the user takes them. For people with disabilities who are unable to move, it includes the function of automatically transporting medicine to the user-set location at the time of use using a line tracer based autonomous vehicle. It is also configured to inform users who have not taken the pill through an alarm that includes visual and auditory functions at a specific time to inform them of this. This work attempts to help users take their medication without forgetting by segmenting the task performance process of such a system through simulations.

A Convergence Implementation of Realtime Traffic Shaping and IPS on Small Integrated Security Router for IDC (IDC용 소형 통합보안라우터의 실시간 트래픽쉐이핑과 IPS의 융합 구현)

  • Various server-based services such as big data, IoT and artificial intelligence have been made online. As a result, the demand for IDC to support stable server operation is increasing. IDC is a server-based facility with a stable line and power supply facility that manages 20 to 30 servers in an efficiently separated rack-level subnetwork. Here, we need a way to efficiently manage servers security, firewall, and traffic on a rack-by-rack basis. Including traffic shaping capabilities that control routers, firewalls, IPS, and line speeds, as well as VPN technology, a recent interest. If three or five kinds of commercial equipment are adopted to support this, it may be a great burden to the management cost as well as the introduction cost. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to implement the five functions in one rack-unit small integrated security router. In particular, IDC intends to integrate traffic shaping and IPS, which are essential technologies, and to propose the utility accordingly.

  • One of the words frequently mentioned in our society today is the smart machine. Smart machines are machines that contain smart or intelligent functions. These smart machines have recently been applied in our home environment. These are phenomena that occur as a result of smart home. In a smart home environment, smart speakers have moved away from traditional music playback functions and are now increasingly serving as interfaces to control devices, the various components of a smart home. In this study, the technology trends of domestic and foreign smart speaker market are examined, problems of current products are analyzed, and necessary core technologies are described. In the domestic smart speaker market, SKT and KT are leading the related industries, while major IT companies such as Amazon, Google and Apple are focusing on launching related products and technology development.
