본 연구는 최근 안전을 중시하는 사회적 분위기 속에서 건설업체의 안전경영활동과 조직구성원의 안전의식이 실질적으로 안전행동에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하였다. '안전경영'에 대한 개인과 기업들의 인식이 바뀌고 있다. 산업현장에서 안전에 대한 물질적, 의식적 투자가 무의미한 비용이 아니라, 기업 경쟁력을 높이는데 꼭 필요한 요소라는 인식이 확산되고 있다. 최고경영자들은 일선 현장을 찾아 경영의 최우선 가치로 안전경영을 내세우고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 산업현장의 근로자들로부터 받은 설문지 300부를 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 기업(건설업체)의 안전경영활동, 근로자의 안전의식은 조직신뢰에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조직신뢰가 근로자의 안전행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기업(건설업체)의 안전경영활동, 근로자의 안전의식은 안전행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 기업(건설업체)의 안전경영활동과 안전행동, 근로자의 안적의식과 안전행동에 조직신뢰의 매개효과가 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 보면 기업(건설업체)의 안전경영활동과 개인의 안적의식이 안전행동 간에 영향을 미치는 것이 확실하므로 기업(건설업체)의 안전에 대한 투자 등의 경영활동을 지속적으로 이어나가야 한다.

본 연구 목적은 한국과 일본의 문화적 특성이 자국민의 해외여행 행태 및 여행사의 기업전략에 끼친 영향을 밝히는데 있다. 이와 관련하여 본 연구에서는 한국과 일본 관광객의 해외여행 행태, 여행의 진행과정, 여행업의 구조변화, 관광분야 해외직접투자 등에 대해 조사하였다. 한국과 일본의 국제관광에 있어서 뚜렷이 구분되는 특징은 높은 패키지여행 비중, 강한 민족적 연계, 대형 도매여행사 중심의 여행업 구조개편, 해외 현지지사의 설립과 리조트 및 호텔에 대한 해외직접투자 둥으로 요약된다. 호주여행에 있어서 한국과 일본의 이러한 두드러진 특징은 강한 집단의식과 언어 및 음식과 같은 문화적 특성에 의해 영향 받은 것으로 판단된다.

독과점적 지위의 온라인플랫폼 기업이 컨텐츠 공급업체들에 대해 지대추구행위를 행하는 것은 수입국 정부가 불완전 경쟁시장의 수출기업들이 취득하는 독점지대를 최적관세를 통해 가로채는 과정과 매우 유사하다. 소위 전략적 무역정책이라고 일컬어지는 이와 같은 수입국의 최적관세 부과 메커니즘을 온라인플랫폼 기업의 지대추구행동에 적용할 경우, 이를 방지하기 위한 규제개혁 논의에 있어 중요한 통찰을 제공받을 수 있을 것이다. 즉 온라인플랫폼 기업이 R&D투자를 통해 컨텐츠 차별화를 추구하는 독점적 경쟁시장의 컨텐츠 공급업체들에 대해 차별적인 수수료를 부과할 경우, 컨텐츠 공급업체들의 R&D투자를 억제시킴으로써 기업들의 혁신투자를 감소시키게 될 것이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 이윤극대화를 추구하는 온라인플랫폼 기업들은 결코 자발적으로 차별적인 수수료 부과체계를 포기하지는 않을 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 컨텐츠기업들에 대한 동등한 수수료 부과 체계의 도입을 강제할 수 있는 규정의 개정을 제안하고자 한다.

This paper tests existence of precautionary saving motive under health uncertainty, using household level panel data from Korea. For this purpose, this paper considers a dynamic health capital model with health uncertainty and derives testable equations for changes in consumption and medical expenditures. Under this framework, households who face future health uncertainty will exhibit precautionary behavior by depressing consumption or increasing investment in health. To test this hypothesis, the paper uses the conditional variance of health as the direct measure of health uncertainty, obtained by estimating a multinomial logit model. Empirical results using the Korean Household Panel Study (KHPS, 1993 - 1997) suggest that Korean elderly households follow the precautionary behavior to insure against future health risk.

Financial ratio indicators of the 46 sample hospitals provided by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, together with the survey data responded by the 57 sample hospitals, were analysed to identify the characteristics of the red-figured hospitals' financial structure, financial operational efficiency and management decision-making behavior, The financial characteristics identified through the analysis include high dependency to liabilities, high salary expenses and overhead costs, low profitability of the unduly large amount of fixed assets, and low managerial efficieny of inventory. The hospitals, in face of the IMF economic impasse, took the necessary decision-making and counter measures to cut down salary expenses, to increase the number of patient and medical revenue, and to reduce investment to fixed assets. Based on these findings this study suggested that the hospitals should take more active cost containment measures, financial structural reorganization, and developoment of the strategies that can contribute to increase of the number of patient and medical revenue and that do not. require much capital funds.

In the structures with high level of ductility, the earthquake energy dissipation in structural components is an important factor that describes their seismic behavior. Since the connection details play a major role in the ductile behavior of structure, in this paper, the seismic response of 3-, 5- and 8-story steel special moment frames (SMFs) is investigated by considering the effects of panel zone modeling and the influence of forward-directivity near-field ground motions. To provide a reasonable comparison, selected records of both near and far-field are used in the nonlinear time-history analysis of models. The results of the comparison of the median maximum inter-story drift under excitation by near-field (NF) records and the far-field (FF) ground motions show that the inter-story drift demands can be obtained 3.47, 4.86 and 5.92 times in 3-, 5- and 8-story structures, respectively, undergoing near-field earthquakes.

Malicious rumors often emerge online. However, few studies have examined why people spread online rumors. Recognizing that spreading online rumors is not only rational, but also emotional, this paper provides insights into the behavior of online rumor spreading using the cognitive emotion theory. The results show that perceived credibility of online rumors enhances both positive and negative emotions. However, positive emotions affect neither attitude nor behavior, whereas negative emotions affect both aspects of the spreading of online rumors. The results also indicate that prior positive attitude toward object influences negative emotions. Issues involvement moderates the relationship between attitude and behavior.

본 연구는 중국에 대한 지역연구(area studies)의 일환으로, 지금까지 간과되어온 연변조선족 자치주의 주도(州都)인 연길시의 상업 및 서비스업에 대한 우리 기업의 투자입지전략을 모색하기 위하여 지리학적인 관점에서 접근을 시도하였다. 이에 따라 먼저 연길시의 지리적 특성과 상업 및 서비스업의 발전상을 간략히 살펴보고, 다음으로 연길시의 상업 및 서비스업의 지역구조(지역분화)와 지역별 입지특성 및 이용자의 행태적 특성을 분석 고찰하였으며, 마지막으로 이를 기초로 연길시의 상업 및 서비스업에 대한 우리 기업의 투자전략 수립에 유용한 투자정보를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 투자에 적합한 업종으로 백화점, 의류점, 신발점, 화장품점, 가전용품점, 무역기업의 해외사무소, 호텔, 나이트클럽, 한국식 음식점, 노래방, 여행사, 미용소, 비디오감상실, 전자오락실 등을 추천하였으며, 장소적으로는 본 연구에서 밝혀진 연길시의 핵심 상업 서비스업지역 또는 도심지에 투자입지하는 것이 바람직하다고 제안하였다.

본 고는 벤처기업 활성화 측면에서 중요성이 부각되고 있는 국내 엔젤투자가의 현황 및 투자성향에 대한 실태조사결과를 분석한 것이다. 실태조사는 국내 엔젤클럽 중 가장 규모가 큰 서울엔젤클럽에 가입해 있는 엔젤투자가를 대상으로 하였다. 주요 분석내용은 엔젤투자가의 인적사항, 전문성, 투자성향 및 위험선호도, 투자방법, 애로요인 및 정책적 제안사항 등이었다. 결론에서는 엔젤투자 활성화를 위해 정부가 고려해야 할 기본적 정책방안을 제시하였다.

This article describes the theoretical foundations of government policy for hospitals in terms of correcting market failure and enhancing equity. It then discusses the characteristics that desirable payment systems should have, and the effects of the DRG-based prospective payment system on hospital behavior, its financial performance, hospital industry, and health care expenditure. The rationales and impacts of other public policies for hospitals such as antitrust and fair trade regulation, dissemination of practice guidelines and hospital mortality information, regulation of hospital capital investment, and tax policy are also discussed.
