The aim of this study was to investigate the rheological properties of arabinogalactans (AGs) solution isolated from moth bean (MB), navy bean (NB), and soybean (SB) including monosaccharide compositions, intrinsic viscosity, steady shear and dynamic shear rheological properties. The major monosaccharides in MB, NB, and SB were arabinose (64.8, 51.4, and 42.6%) and galactose (13.4, 19.6, and 46.2%). The yield stresses for 5% (w/v) NB and 2.5% (w/v) SB solutions were assessed as 2.10 Pa and 1.98 Pa, respectively, but in case of MB solution, it was observed to be negligible. While 5% MB solution showed rheopectic property, 5% NB and SB solutions showed thixotropic properties. As a result of frequency sweep experiment, the G' values in 2.5% MB and NB were larger than the G" value showed but 2.5% SB exhibited G" value greater than G'. These results would be useful for future application as a food additive in the food industry.

It's the situation that modern technological civilization shakes the life environment fundamentally without a serious reflection on the dangers. The sense of crisis' brought the rise of modern Ecology in awareness of survivability of the humanity. Because the serious reflection is not just a campaign for environmental protection, but is to establish the values which is possible to coexist and to make harmony between the nature and man, man and man, and to form a healthy relationship through philosophical thought and practice has intrinsic value for human and nature. Under these circumstances, if Yulgok lives now and he is questioned by the ecological theorists of the 21st century that "What do you think about the serious environmental problem of present times?", what really would be his explanation? In the presentation methods of the explanation, will question first what contents western ecologists who study Theory of the environment in technology, Deep Ecology, and Social Ecology propose, then will compare and introduce what similarities and differences from theirs. As a result, we'll be found that Yulgok's thought, moral consciousness, about the nature and humanity as a confucian scholar.

The paper has focused on examining the sense of educational process in the light of Xugua zhuan[序卦傳], the Sequence of the Hexagrams as one among Ten Wings in I Ching, particularly on the 11 Iching-hexagrams from ch'ien[乾] to t'ai[泰]. The process involved in this part of the Book of Change can be recognized as both the micro and macro levels, which can eventually leads us to construct the circular system of thought[環相型]. This gives us a possibility to consider the values of education beyond the dualism such as intrinsic and extrinsic as well as traditional and progressive ones. Particularly some crucial defects from child-centered education have been critically examined so that the concept of education can be taken seriously in the light of the teacher-side. Thus this provides us a necessity to dub 'education' as '敎育', not as '兒育' in the Oriental context. As shown in the paper, the cosmic dual forces of I Ching also enables us to dissolve some conflicts arisen in the educational welfare system and situations, and then shows us why we should respect for the teachers' stances though we have to consider the interests of children to be educated. Thus we need to re-examine the content of the Book in the link with the Western systems of educational theory.

Sinduri beach is a typical sedimentary landform that forms sand dunes due to the influence of the northwest wind in winter. Due to the its large scale and well-developed nature, it has been recognized for conservation value and is currently designated as Natural Monument No. 431, and continuous monitoring is required in terms of the preservation of topographical values. In this study, aerial images, drone images, and drone-based LiDAR data during 36 years were used for long-term topographical change observation of the Sinduri coastal sand dunes located in Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. To implement this, the amount of change in elevation and volume for each period was calculated by applying the difference of Digital Elevation Model (DEM) based on raster calculation using the numerical elevation model generated from the raw data. Also, the amount of change in volume based on probability was calculated using the error propagation law for the intrinsic error of each data source. As a result, it can be seen that from 1986 to 2022, deposition of 35,119 m³ occurred in region of interest A (area: 17,960 m²) and 54,954 m³ of deposition occurred in region of interest B (area: 17,686 m²).

One of the technologies in urban agriculture, hydroponics cultivation, has primarily focused on technological development, resulting in a lack of research on urban agriculture's cultural utilization aspects, encompassing cultural values associated with urban residents' leisure activities. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the participation constraints perceived by school community members when implementing urban farming activities using hydroponics and understand the structural relationships between the variables that influence decision-making from the perspective of leisure activities in urban farming. As a result, participation constraints in urban farming activities utilizing hydroponics were first categorized into intrinsic, interpersonal, and structural factors. Second, the results of hypothesis model verification showed that interpersonal constraints significantly influenced the participants' willingness to participate and their expected behavior. This study found the multidimensional perceptions of school community members regarding hydroponic urban farming conducted in urban spaces, particularly rooftops, and revealed the influence of decision-making factors on participation when conducting urban farming activities using hydroponic cultivation.

As the number of National and UNESCO Global Geoparks has increased, awareness of geological heritage and local government interests have also increased. In this study, data from the geological heritage sites in the Ulsan area were summarized, a practical use plan for geological heritage was prepared based on the assessment results, and the expected effects were also presented. The value for 33 of 112 geological heritage sites identified through literature surveys was evaluated. In terms of the geological heritage types in Ulsan, there were two geological, one geomorphological, and thirty mixed-heritage sites. In the context of the geological heritage of Ulsan, rivers and coastal topography were found to be dominant, and various geomorphological and geological features, such as fossils, folds, faults, shear zones, minerals, and ore deposits are included. Based on the assessment results, there were three, eighteen, nine, and three sites in Classes I, II, III, and IV, respectively. Considering the intrinsic and subsidiary values of geological heritage, the Gangdong Coast, Jujeon Coast, Taehwagang area, Daewangam area, the Daegokri-Cheonjeonri track sites, and Mujechineup are likely to be listed as potential geosites. When the endorsement of the geopark has been promoted alongside these geosites, it can contribute to the sustainable preservation and maintenance of the geosites, satisfy the demand for science education through geo-education, and support the sustainable development of the local economy following the detailed standards for geopark certification in the Natural Parks Act. This is expected to increase the brand value of Ulsan Metropolitan City.

As the transition to the digital age in the late 20th century, the intrinsic value of the craft, the emotional values of human, has been noticed as an alternative to overcome the adverse effects of the modernism of the industrial age. To introduce experimental tries which convergence of contemporary technologies and elements of traditional craft, and to inspire artists and present the new possibility of creation to them who want to take advantage of craft emotion as the elements of creation is the purpose of this study in the current digital technology age. First, the meaning and value of craft in modern times and digital media and hybrid creation environments are theoretically investigated based on previous studies and literature. Second, design cases produced by combining digital technology as a tool and craft elements are classified for substantial understanding of the design. Thirdly, identify the design characteristics presented through case studies and suggest the new possibility of creation. The results of the study are as follows. Reject typical types highlight the functional role and try free express conversion, e.g. form, material, texture, making process etc. Extracts the various elements that can be applied and search combining ways, because the convergence of digital technology and the craft is sufficient to activate the human emotion. Interaction between the craft and the digital medium is made actively. Craft accepts digital form, the craft appeared again as the contents of the digital. the traditional and digital method appropriately fused and utilized depending on the situation in process.

In this study, several important aspects were studied in producing video advertisements based on the lifestyle and SNS status of Generation Z. Generation Z highly values participation and interaction due to the nature of SNS, so SNS advertisements should be produced in a way that induces active interaction with viewers and accepts feedback. Here's a summary of the main parts. It prefers various content formats of Generation Z that consume information. Advertisements should be produced in various formats such as text, images, and videos, and should have flexibility suitable for various platforms. Because each SNS platform has its own characteristics due to platform specialization, this study suggests that advertisements analyze the characteristics of the platform and use the appropriate content strategy for the optimized platform. As an emphasis on value proposition, we propose an advertising format setting to focus on what value the product or brand provides. It is important to clearly emphasize the advantages and intrinsic value of a product or service in video advertising, and in conclusion, we propose to focus on the case of increasing interest by adopting modern and trendy design of storytelling as an attractive and unique design method of aesthetic design and visual effects. Considering these factors comprehensively, the research value of this paper will be able to establish an effective SNS marketing strategy by producing video advertisements that match the lifestyle and SNS usage characteristics of Generation Z.

Thanks to the remarkable success of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) techniques, a new possibility for its application on the real-world problem has begun. One of the prominent applications is the bankruptcy prediction model as it is often used as a basic knowledge base for credit scoring models in the financial industry. As a result, there has been extensive research on how to improve the prediction accuracy of the model. However, despite its impressive performance, it is difficult to implement machine learning (ML)-based models due to its intrinsic trait of obscurity, especially when the field requires or values an explanation about the result obtained by the model. The financial domain is one of the areas where explanation matters to stakeholders such as domain experts and customers. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to incorporate financial domain knowledge into local rule generation to provide explanations for the bankruptcy prediction model at instance level. The result shows the proposed method successfully selects and classifies the extracted rules based on the feasibility and information they convey to the users.

The monthly news and culture magazine, 'Sasanggye,' established by Jang Jun-ha from 1953 to 1970, served as a platform for government criticism and intellectual representation. The magazine created photographic-essays covering a variety of topics and utilized images as a visually impactful tool with news value. This paper aims to critically examine the photographic-essays within 'Sasanggye' as archival records, shedding light on their intrinsic value. Before delving into this assessment, the paper thoroughly explores the developmental process and characteristics of these photographic-essays. And based on the content divisions within the main text, the paper categorized the themes captured in the photographic essays into politics, economics, society, culture, and miscellaneous topics. It then introduced representative photographicessays. From an archival perspective, looking at photographs involves elucidating that photographs carry meanings beyond mere data. The photographic essays in 'Sasanggye' serve as photographic records providing evidence of 1960s Korean society and encapsulating crucial visual information. Furthermore, the photographic essays in 'Sasanggye' hold a historical significance in the aspect of Korean magazine documentary photography. The photo-essays in 'Sasanggye' carry worth in the history of photography and encompass evidential and informational values as photographic records.
