Background and objectives : Social phobia is a nervous anxiety characterized by one or more constant fear in social activity or specific situation which causes serious damage to individual's social functions leading to chronic functional impairment when it is untreated. The objective of this study is to report a new finding of a possible subtype of social phobia according to a case survey and study of sufferers found via online support group. Methods : A single case review using survey and interview on patient was employed. Following a no-treatment baseline period for examination and interview, biweekly acupuncture treatment with interview for in-depth examination was delivered for 6months. Also, for in-depth investigation of peripheral vision phobia, survey questionnaire was done by the members of a Korean support group on on-line social group forum. Result : A new type of social phobia which has not yet been reported nor mentioned in any journals, namely called 'peripheral vision phobia' has been identified. Biweekly acupuncture treatment reached a comfort state of mental status on one case of patient with social phobia. Limitation : Due to the shift of environment on patient's part, the termination of the school session at where the phobia occur the most, the reoccurrence of the phobia is yet to be examined. Also, the generalization of the new type of phobia as a subtype only by reviewing one case alone with survey interview of on-line social group has limitation. Conclusion : The result of the case review suggests that 'peripheral vision phobia' is strictly concentrated on malfunctioning of peripheral vision without functional or organic hindrance of pupils or of any parts of eyes including eye muscles due to peripheral vision phobia. PVP is similar to social phobia and it may be a subtype of social phobia, however, since etiology, diagnosis, medical treatment methods are under researched, investigation is yet to be done.

The industrial accidents in the construction business have decreased on the basis of the accreditation of KOSHA 18001, one of the occupational health and safety management system. However, the interest and investment into the KOSHA 18001 has grown down because of the worsened construction business so that the construction companies that maintain the system as a mere formality has begun to be displayed. In this regard, this study performed the interview with the internal and external review board as well as the question investigation from the persons concerned in order to apprehend the current problems in the KOSHA 18001. First of all, the internal reviewers in the KOSHA are lack in the comparison with the number of new and renew accreditation. Secondly, many persons concerned with the KOSHA has required the quantitative criteria for the accreditation. Consequently, the manpower supplement associated with the external reviewers, the grading evaluation would be strong solutions to improve the effectiveness of KOSHA 18001.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the way of reformation of the korean policeman's uniform through the precise investigation and analysis both at home and abroad. The domestic investigation was carried out through the research into the concerned documents on how to emprove the policeman's uniform, the investigation into the focused group interview not only for the policeman but also for policeman's uniform, the analysis on the domestic policeman's service in general and the similar uniforms inside the country. The overseas-research was accomplished by visiting six different countries such as United Kingom, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany and Japan while interviewing and analyzing on their own uniforms respectively. The result of thes survey indicates that Korean Policeman's Uniform is comparatively lacking in dignity, functionability, uniformity and symbolic representation of Korea. In conclusion, this study suggests the way how to improve Korean Policeman's Uniform as follows : 1. To pursue the simplification and the uniformity 2. To give the functionability and flexibility by seasons and functions. 3. To inspire the symbolic character and the dignity of policeman's own.

Electric power is an important element in any modern economy. The availability of a reliable power supply at a reasonable cost is important for the economic growth and development of a country. Electric power utilities throughout the world therefore strive to meet customer demands economically with high quality and reliability. As the power industry moves towards open competition, therefore, there has been a call for a methodology by which to evaluate power system reliability through the use of customer interruption characteristics. This paper presents the results of an investigation and analysis of interruption characteristics of an industrial customer in Korea. This study used a direct visit survey to determine the investigation and analysis of electric service quality and the characteristics of industrial customers in Korea. A customer survey conducted throughout Korea via personal interviews of 660 sample customers is presented here. Variation according to characteristics of interruption such as duration, time of day, frequency and day of interruption was also investigated

The purpose of this study is to analyze the work of the existing manpower dependent cleaning method by investigating the window cleaning site. In this study, detailed work contents were confirmed by on-site investigation and interview with experts, and the relationship, procedure, repetition work, and time required for each work were analyzed. The future analysis results will be used as a basic data for comparative analysis of productivity and economical efficiency with the window cleaning device to be developed.

The purpose of this study was to explore and describe the experience of Dan-Jeon breathing training and of Qi as a essential substance in forming human body. The sample consists of 7 participants who are Dan-Jeon Breathing training in a Training center, Pusan, Korea. They were asked open-ended questions in order for them to talk about their experiences. With permission of the subjects, the interviews were recorded and transcribed. The summarized results of this research are following. 1. The purpose of Dan-Jeon Breathing The interview data was organized by themes into 4 categories : hope for health recovery, a concern about Dan-Jeon Breathing, seeking meaning of life, change of lifestyle 2. The experience of Qi during Dan-Jeon Breathing training The interview data was organized by themes into 3 categories : an autonomic movement of body, spiritual experience, conviction of existence of Qi. 3. The change after Dan-Jeon Breathing training. The interview data was organized by themes into 7 categories : physical health promotion, emotional relaxation, promoting brain function, positive attitude about life, love to others, investigation for self, improvement on Qi feeling..

The focus of this research was to devise a conceptual methodology for drone usage and to assess the viability of safety checklist items specific to drone application in safety oversight. The appraisal was grounded in a focus group interview involving professionals from construction management and safety fields. The proposed process was segmented into four stages: 1) pre-flight phase for flight plan development, 2) drone flight phase for safety condition inspection utilizing checklist items, 3) post-flight phase for visual asset analysis, and 4) documentation and management phase. Furthermore, the research scrutinized the applicability of 32 distinct safety checklist items for drone operations. The primary aim of this investigation was to probe the possible deployment of drones as part of construction safety inspections at work sites. However, it bears mentioning that subsequent research should strive to gather a more extensive sample size through questionnaire surveys, thereby facilitating quantitative analysis. Administering such surveys would yield more comprehensive data compared to a focus group interview, which was constrained by a limited participant count. In summation, this study lays a foundational groundwork for understanding the potential advantages and challenges associated with integrating drones into construction safety management.

This study was conducted to provide an improving direction of K-EIP(Korean Eco-Industrial Park) construction project by company's voluntary participation. For this purpose, we investigated and analyzed the status of domestic eco-industrial park projects from various literatures, foreign EIP cases and FGI(Focus Group Interview). The key issues to construct a voluntary K-EIP are the lack of experts, the difficulties of commercialization financing, and so on. In this study, therefore, the programs to resolve these problems in K-EIP construction project were suggested at the level of government and corporation.

The purpose of this study is to develop a application procedure and survey method for the empirical diagnostic indices system. In order to know the survey method, which has 65 investigation items for 52 indicators, this study not only presented so that the each survey items could be surveyed in at least 1 to 3 steps, but also presented the 4 survey method for each investigation items: preliminary survey, administrative survey, field survey, and interview survey. As a result of applying to 15 sample villages, the period of surveying a village of 100 households was 1.4 days, and it was confirmed that the survey was generally efficient in a short time. As a result of applying the survey system to the sample village, the developed survey system showed the possibility of investigating even the details of rural villages. Therefore, it was judged that it could be used as a basic procedure for a rural village unit survey.

The purpose of this study is to present the form of Korean policeman's headgear which is endowed with traditional Korean characters and a creative property that has distinctive from other headgears. The investigation was carried out through the researh of policeman's headgears in foreign countries such as United Kingdom France Belgium Italy germany and Japan. The dom-estic investigation was carried out through the Focused Group Interview and analysis on the domestic policeman's service and headgear. Lastly the research into the characteristic of Korean traditional headgear's from was carried out. Consequently two types of policeman's head-gear hat and cap were newly developed and the system of practical use was suggested. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Through the use of traditional and formal elements of Korean ancient headgears korean policeman's headgears were improved in distinc-tion and dignity. 2. Through the use of unisexual form police-man's headgears were improved in uniformity. 3. Through the use of transformal accessories policeman's headgear were improved in simplified system. 4. Through the use of newly formed and lighten weighted materials policeman's head-gears were improved in functionability.
