This study was attempted to systematically analysis the characteristics and effects of studies that applied animal assisted therapy to elementary students. Literature searches were conducted in 4 domestic academic databases(RISS, KISS, ScienceON, KMBASE). The characteristics of selected 26 studies were individually analyzed and described by publication year, research method, subject characteristics, intervention characteristics, and outcome variables, and the characteristics of the study were systematically summarized. The effect of the assisted therapy was divided into psychological-emotional effect, interpersonal effect, and other effect. Most of the psychological-emotional indicators and interpersonal relationship indicators were found to be effective, and inconsistent results were found for some indicators. It is expected that it can be used as a useful data when conducting assisted therapy studies targeting elementary school students in the future.

Comparing the uses of '-canh-' with the ones of '-ci,'this study suggests that different modal interpretat ions by '-canh-' and '-ci' is based on the interpersonal relationship between speaker and interlocutor. While noting that '-canh-' and '-ci' are the modal indicators denoting degrees of speaker commitment, for making clear the illocutionary force of utterances, it is observed and explained that what the speaker is committed respectively by using '-canh-' and '-ci' is highly sensitive to the relativity of the known/unknown status of the informal ion introduced into discourse contexts .

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to evaluate how advanced practice nurses (APNs) recognized their work by analyzing nursing outcomes. The ultimate goal was to examine the utility of APNs by connecting their work to the outcomes. Methods: Cross-sectional survey was conducted to collect the data from 59 APNs in a tertiary hospital lovated in Seoul, Korea. The questionnaire with 84 outcome indicators for advanced practice nurses was used. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. Results: Among 84 outcome indicators, 11 indicators were associated with the work of APNs. Majority of these findings were included in the categories of clinical results and satisfaction. Items identified to be associated with the work of APNs were different among oncology nursing area, surgical speciality area, emergency care area, and critical care area.
