This study analyzed aspects of multiple intelligences related to rhythm, melody, understanding and representation of traditional Korean music. Subjects were 60 4-to 6-years-old children. Instruments were the Children's Korean Traditional Music (KTM) Ability Test (Park 2006)and Korean Multiple Intelligence Development Assessment Scale-My Young Child (MIDAS-MYC, Shearer, 1996). Data were analyzed by correlations and t-test. Findings were that (1) average scores on KTM rhythm and understandings were higher than melody and representation. (2) Traditional rhythm ability correlated most with linguistic intelligence. (3) Multiple intelligences by representation ability for KTM differed significantly in Linguistic intelligence and relationships to Naturalist, Musical, Logical-mathematical, Interpersonal, and Bodily-Kinesthetic intelligences.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference in perceptions of job applicants on core competency in the recruitment environment based on National Competence Standards(NCS), and also to obtain information relating to the seeking of employment and employment education plans. A survey and paired t-test were conducted on 355 job applicants of vocational colleges and four-year universities. Through these applicants, the difference between the current level and level of importance dependent on areas of core competency was analyzed. In addition, IPA analysis was conducted in order to confirm the educational necessity in this area. As a result, there were significant differences between the current level and level of importance in all 10 areas. IPA analysis confirmed that educational needs are prioritized. As a result, it was found that the areas which should be strengthened in both groups were interpersonal ability, communication ability, numerical ability, problem solving ability, and self-development ability. The area recognized as being in 'a state of excess' was resource management ability. As a result of checking the necessity levels of the two groups, it was found that job applicants of vocational colleges had to strengthen their problem solving ability, and the applicants of four-year universities had to intensify their communication ability, interpersonal ability, and information ability.
This study aims to provide basic data for improved the level of subjective health awareness in the physical and mental aspects of prospective seniors by verifying the effect of self-esteem of pre-elderly on subjective health awareness and the mediating effect of interpersonal skills. For the analysis, data were collected through a survey of 270 prospective seniors aged 55 and over to 64 years old, who participated in the prospective elderly program operated by social welfare institutions in the metropolitan area, from February 16 to March 16, 2023, and SPSS WIN 25.0 and PROCESS MACRO were used. Frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, and correlation analysis were conducted as analysis methods, and the mediating effect of interpersonal ability was verified through structural equation analysis, and the main analysis results are as follows. First, it was found that the self-esteem of the pre-elderly had a positive (+) effect on subjective health perception. Second, interpersonal ability showed a mediating effect in the relationship between self-esteem and subjective health perception of pre-elderly. Based on these results, it is significant in that it presents basic data for a successful and active retirement life in the future old age.

This study examined the effects of emotional clarity and empathic ability on interpersonal competence among nursing college students. The subjects included college students in some provinces. The research period was November and December 2019. Two hundred and eighty five students were analyzed. The data collected were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The findings show that empathy (β=.551, p<.001), emotional clarity (β=.288, p<.001), and satisfaction with college life (β=.092, p<.001) had significant effects on interpersonal competence with an explanatory power of 47.4%. Interpersonal competence had significant positive correlations with empathy (r=.641, p<.001) and emotional clarity (r=.443, p<.001). Therefore, it is important to reinforce the development and application of customized individual counseling programs designed to enhance empathy. This encourages nursing college students to understand emotional clarity, which helps them recognize others' emotions as well as their own and make proper reactions. Accordingly, satisfaction with college life, which adds more vitality to their college life, will increase the interpersonal competence of nursing college students. In the future, repeating and in-depth research should be conducted to include emotional and psychological factors of interpersonal competence. A standardized research tool will be needed to measure interpersonal competence.

This study examined the factors influencing interpersonal anxiety in female interpersonal relationships of female college students to establish baseline data for appropriate interventions. The study participants were 231 female college students in B and K city. The data were collected from questionnaires gathered between September 3rd, 2014 and September 17th of the same year, and analyzed by a t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and Stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS 21.0 Program. According to the results, the participants' social interaction anxiety and interpersonal relations showed a negative correlation and statistically significant differences according to the satisfaction level for the major, perceived economic level, number of friends, boyfriend, and recently experienced emotion. The factors affecting the interpersonal relations was social interaction anxiety and social interaction anxiety; this was explained by 30.1%. Therefore, the collected data are expected to be useful for establishing baseline data for the development of an intervention program that can help female college students lower their social interpersonal anxiety and improve their ability for interpersonal relationships.

This is an empirical study with the purpose of analyzing the effects of interpersonal relationship skills and social support on adaptation to college life targeting freshmen. For the objective and questions of this study, 268 freshmen of D University located in Gyeonggi-do were selected and a survey was carried out. The collected survey data were analyzed using factor analysis, reliability analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant positive correlation among interpersonal relations, social support and adaptation to college life. Second, the factors, forming initial relationships, claiming rights, mental support and dealing with interpersonal conflicts in interpersonal relations, had a significant effect on adaptation to college life. Third, in the area of social support, family support, friend support and instructor support had a significantly positive effect on adaptation to college life. This indicates that interpersonal relations and social support by family, friends and instructors play an important role in adapting to the new environment of college, so it is necessary to develop and adopt various programs that foster interpersonal relation ability for college students to adapt smoothly to college life.
Objectives : This study is aimed to help the dental hygiene department students to improve their adaptive ability to the field work by letting them know the performing levels required of the job world, by renovating the knowledge-centered curriculum, and by finding out the core competencies needed for successfully performing their duties and tasks in the work field. Methods : The survey tool was recomposed through the examination of the preceeding studies on basic vocational competencies and skills, and the survey has been done to 200 dentists in Seoul and Gyunggi provice. Results : 1. As for the job-getting routs, 35.1% of them finds their jobs through the job portal sites, and 21.3% through the recommendation by professors. So we can see the meaningful difference in the employment ways. 2. Dental hygiene clinics think that the purpose of their cooperation with the colleges is mainly to secure human resources by requiring the colleges to give field-centered education the colleges through. 3. The clinics for dental hygienic students' field learning have a great power for hiring the students. So it is necessary to set up a good management system of the clinics for dental hygienic students' field learning in order to reinforce the students' competitive power in getting jobs. 4. The priorities in basic working abilities needed for the task performance are in the order of vocational responsibility, self-managing & developing ability, interpersonal skill, and problem solving ability. 5. The core competencies required of those who graduate from dental hygiene school show the following scores by Likert measurement; good personality and vocational consciousness 2.16(${\pm}.677$), understanding power of major-related knowledge 2.19(${\pm}.723$), field adapting ability 2.31(${\pm}.748$), get-along-with ability 2.32(${\pm}.799$), interpersonal skill 2.42(${\pm}.768$), and self-development ability such as getting certificates 2.43(${\pm}.729$). Among the core competencies, the only meaningful factor which influences on their satisfaction measurement has been identified as the professional ability related to the major. Conclusions : The results suggest that the knowledge and skill related to the major are core competencies of able human resources and closely related with the professionality of the job, and so they are very important. However, job basic abilities are also proved to be important, which reinforce the students' activeness, self-regulation, and creativeness, and help them to pursue their lasting growth in their abilities.

This study aims to draw the implication in improving middle school students' school adjustment and suggest policy methods for their school adjustment depending on the degree of social support. As a result of the research, it was found that middle school students' resilience factors such as self-control ability and interpersonal relationship ability had the influence on their impulse control, self-esteem, communication and self-expansion ability on their social competence. Emotional regulation, impulse control, self-esteem, communication and self-expansion ability had the influence on school adjustment. It was also known that middle school students' social competence had high influence on their school adjustment and their self-expansion ability had the highest influence on social competence. Middle school students' resilience factors such as emotional regulation, empathy and self-expansion ability may be different in their influence on social competence. Impulse control may be different depending on their school adjustment and a degree of social support, and social competence may be different depending on their school adjustment and a degree of social support.

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship among the variables and the influence of academic self-efficacy and critical thinking disposition on the problem solving ability of nursing students. A descriptive research design was employed in this study. The participants were 404 sophomore nursing students in D city, who were surveyed between May 2 and May 20, 2016, using self-report questionnaire. The data were analyzed with SPSS WIN 21.0 using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. Significant correlations among the academic self-efficacy, critical thinking disposition, and problem solving ability were found. In academic self-efficacy and critical thinking disposition, there were significant differences in gender, academic credit, interpersonal relationship, and satisfaction with nursing as a major. The problem solving ability showed statistically significant differences in academic credit, interpersonal relationships, and satisfaction with nursing as a major. The regression model explained 51.7% of the effect on the problem solving ability. Academic self-efficacy and critical thinking disposition were factors influencing the problem solving ability of nursing students. Based on these results, to increase problem solving ability of nursing students, it will be necessary to develop an educational program and strategy for improving the academic self-efficacy and critical thinking disposition.
This paper follows the Walker of Avant approach to concept analysis of the concept of power. For the purposes of the paper, power was defined as the actural or potential ability or capacity to achieve objectives through an interpersonal process in which the goals and means to achieve the goals are mutually established and worked toward. The distinction between the view of power as 'power to' versus 'power over' are addressed in the literature review. King's conceptual framework was used as a guide. The defining attributes of power are: 1. The actual or potential ablity or capacity to achieve objectives or attain goals. 2. An Interpersonal process, 3. Mutual establishment of goals and the means to achieve the goals and 4. Mutually working toward the goals. The antecedents for power were idntified in the literature review: 1. the presence of two or more people 2. acquisition of power skill 3. possession of the power sources 4. an orientation of power as good and 5. self-confidence. The concequences of power are the achievement of objectives or goal attainment. Finally Assumptions and testable hypothesis are proposed.
