전략적 정보제휴의 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study Toward the Determinants off Stratigic Information Partnership)

  • There seems to be a renewed interest in interorganizational relationship to search ofr strategic information partnerships. It is particularly noteworthy that no study has yet reported configurations at the level of interorganizational relationships nor compared such configurations across different types of IOS(interorganizational Infromation System). This paper seeks to uncover dominant configurations of interorganizational relationships across the various types of IOS. We integrate relevant theoretical concepts from transaction cost economics, organization theory and political economy to develop a conceptual model of interorganizational relationships based on the fit between information processing needs and information processing capabilities. We empirically uncover a set of hypothesis toward the patterns of interorganizational relationships. Moreover the implications for further research pertaining to the logic and development of configurations were proposed.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the interorganizational factors that influence both the supplier-buyer's EDI utilization and the business performance in domestic retail industry. In terms of successful supply chain implementation and operation, we deduced the structural factors in the context of the interorganizational characteristics between mass merchandisers and vendors. This study therefore focused on suggesting the ways of managing the partnership in supply chain and conceptualizing the big picture of EDI development model in the scope of a retailer's IT strategy. This paper implicates that it is important to leverage the level of organizational capabilities for the success of supply chain adoption and operation. In the stream of SCM initiatives from the manufacturing industry, retailers should concentrate on improving the interorganizational environment and implementing the effective information technology for supporting business strategy.

  • In this paper, we investigate the inter-organizational information systems effect to supply chain partnerships, and subsequently to the performance. The conceptual model for the causal relationships among interorganizational systems usage, interaction, partnership, and supply chain performances has been developed. Theoretical framework is based on the partnership research in relationship marketing area, and the interaction model from IMP group. The questionnaires are designed to test the hypotheses of the conceptual model. The survey result supports our hypotheses that collaborative IT effects to increase the interaction between the firms, and interaction causes to enhance the partnership quality. Also, the level of partnership shows strong positive correlation with the supply chain performances. Despite the limitations of collected sample data size, our study reveals the fact that inter-organizational information systems contribute to supply chain performance through enhancing the interaction and partnership level between the supply chain partners. Our research result is distinct from the most extant literatures that investigated the firm's collaboration impact on interorganizational systems usage.

  • This paper addresses the need to incorporate the increasing trend of partnership formation among business firms into a framework for interorganizational systems. The existing frameworks for classifying interorganizational systems are either conceptually too complex to be readily applicable to IOS planning or too outdated to explain the emergence of numerous forms of global communication networks. Based upon two dimensions, namely value activity linkage and system support level, we propose a new IOS framework which classifies IOS into four types, including (1) operational cooperation, (2) resource pooling, (3) operational coordination, and (4) complementary partnership. We review select cases that fit into each IOS category and draw characteristics of systems of each category. The paper concludes with suggestions for applying the framework to the development of an IOS-enabled corporate strategy.

  • Given the importance of adoption of the IOS (Interorganizational System) and the “much-slower-than-anticipated” growth of IOS adoption, especially in small- and midium firms, this study aimed to identify the key determinants of small- and midium-sized firms' ISO usage. Based on prior research on IT/EDI adoption in various organizations, the model that incorporates 9 factors that are hypothesized to have influence on the ISO usage decision was developed and empirically tested against data collected from 114 small- and midium-seized firms' top management. The results show that perceived financial costs are found to be major impediments to usage intention, and perceptions of relative advantage, compatibility, risk are also important determinants of ISO usage intention in small- and midium-sized firms. Implications of these findings are duscussed for researchers and practitioners.

한국기업의 EDI 구현 결정요인 (Determinants of EDI Implementation in Korean Companies)

  • The telecommunications of previous years have been utilized for internal usages, but those in current years have widely extended even to usages for Interorganizational Information System(IOIS) beyond its internal uses. Electronic Data Interchange(EDI), a subsidiary form of IOIS which permits interorganizational electronical exchanges of transaction documents through the telecommunications networks between and among computers, is expected to bring forth various innovative results with improved efficiency and productivity through the improvement and simplification of transaction processes, And it became needed and significant to review studies with practical values and necessity. This study is implemented on the basis of a judgement that Korea businesses can improve some of their structural problems of high costs by successfully adopting and implementing EDI system in their organizations. And it's also realized that more studies on the related subjects will benefit and be valuable for various applications. The major objectives of this research is to identify factors influencing in the implementation of EDI system by Korean business entities. Business which already implementation EDI system in their organizations were subjected to the survey. Also, this study intended to identify variables influencing in the implementation of EDI system and further provide directions needed in establishing or managing EDI system.

재해방지정책의 개선방안에 관한 고찰 - 자연재해를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Natural Disaster Response Policy in Korea)

  • Recently, natural disasters happened to the Korea frequently. Disaster in the present society has been changed and increased it impacts and extent of danger as the society develops. So, Korean people feel uneasy about the unpredictable disaster. Therefore the capability of administration system, and cooperation and support between related organization become more necessary. This study aims to find out better ways of disaster management system which can protect people's lives and fortune from all sort of national disasters. To research policy reform, it is necessary to analyze disaster response organization(national disaster prevention countermeasures headquarters and so on), interorganizational relationship, law system etc. Especially, in this study, role appreciation of government was analyzed to get the rational policy reform measure. Suggestion : First, it is necessary Establishing a consolidated organization for disaster managing and united response organization is necessary such as Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA) which controls an over all aspects of disaster management. And it is necessary to develop Integrated Administrative Control System based on comprehensive plan. When the accidents happen, it needs to be many equipments and various specialized personnel. So, to manage a large scale of disaster, it is necessary to have interorganizational network system which many specialized organization including volunteer group are integrated. Also, as soon as the natural disaster happen, many professionals and volunteers are distributed to the spots of disaster in the right man in the right place. Finally, All the citizens have to keep safety rules, and also to take a safe action in ordinary daily life.

조직간 정보시스템 비대칭과 공급망 성과 (Interorganizational Information System Asymmetry and Supply Chain Performance)

  • 공급망 참여자들 사이의 정보공유가 가져다 주는 명확한 효과에도 불구하고 공급망 파트너 사이에 정보자원을 효과적으로 사용한 사례는 흔치 않다. 이와 같은 현상을 설명하기 위해 본 연구는 조직간 정보시스템 비대칭이라는 새로운 개념을 소개한다. 조직간 정보시스템 비대칭은 조직간 정보시스템을 통한 정보투명성에서 공급망 참여자 사이에 비대칭이 있는 것을 의미한다. 조직간 정보시스템 비대칭이 존재하면 조직간 정보시스템은 조직간 정보비대칭을 해소하지 못하고 오히려 이를 고착화시킴으로써 공급망 전체의 비효율을 유발할 수 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 현상이 실제로 나타나는지를 경험적으로 검증한다. 본 연구에서 사용한 데이터는 3종류의 제조업에 속한 중간부품 제조업자와 그들의 공급자들을 대상으로 수집하였다. 데이터 분석 결과, 조직간 정보시스템 비대칭은 전체적인 공급망 성과를 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 조직간 정보시스템 비대칭과 공급망 성과의 관계는 환경불확실성에 의해 조절되는 것으로 발견되었다. 구체적으로 환경불확실성이 높을 때 조직간 정보시스템 비대칭이 공급망 성과에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

사회복지 조직간 협력관리 요인에 관한 탐색적 연구 (A Study on the Management Factor in the Collaboration among Social Service Organizations)

  • 이 연구는 사회복지 조직간 협력에 영향을 미치는 협력관리 요인을 도출하여 그 의미를 찾고, 협력관리요인이 조직간 협력에 영향을 미치는지 검증하였다. 이론 검토를 통하여 공식 비공식 만남, 계약, 협력담당자 선정과 같은 협력관리내용은 기존의 조직요인이나 협력결과와 구분되는 개념으로 인식하였다. 조사 분석 결과, 협력관리 요인이 조직간 협력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타남으로써 조직간 협력관리의 정책수립이나 제도화가 조직간 협력을 더욱 활성화시킬 수 있음을 시사하였다. 연구결과를 통하여, 조직간 협력관리의 기술, 노하우, 이론의 개발을 주장하며, 조직간 협력을 활성화할 수 있는 관리활동을 서비스 조직 및 정부의 정책차원에서 제도화할 필요가 있음을 제안한다.
