  • This study aims to use ISM to identify the enablers affecting the acceptance of IoT services. For this purpose, this study conducted an ISM analysis and a MICMAC analysis, extracted the enablers from Internet of Things - An Action Plan for Europe published by the EU for the research, and conducted interviews and surveys. The study found that it would be preferentially necessary to prepare the base for successful IoT services through international cooperation and the security of objective data. In addition, it turned out that it would be necessary to make efforts to spread and develop IoT services by conducting R&D and implementing projects through public-private partnerships and the organization of a consultative group. Lastly, since information security and standardization are the desired objects of the IoT industry, it was found that both the government and the industrial world should focus on them. This study has significance in that it can provide practical implications for the effective acceptance of IoT services.

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is a new paradigm that is revolutionizing computing. It is intended that all objects around us will be connected to the network, providing "anytime, anywhere" access to information. This study introduces IoT with Kolb's learning style in order to enhance the learning experience especially for inclusive education for primary and secondary schools where delivery of knowledge is not limited to physical, cognitive disabilities, human diversity with respect to ability, language, culture, gender, age and of other forms of human differences. The article also emphasizes the role of learning style as a discovery process that incorporates the characteristics of problem solving and learning. Kolb's Learning Style was chosen as it is widely used in research and in practical information systems applications. A consistent pattern of finding emerges by using a combination of Kolb's learning style and internet of things where specific individual differences, learning approach differences and IoT application differences are taken as a main research framework. Further several suggestions were made by using this combination to IoT architecture and smart environment of internet of things. Based on these suggestions, future research directions are proposed.

  • The trend of Internet of things are changed from public and examples of corporate center to B2C service. As you can see, through the practice of domestic and international services Internet of Things, conventional disaster, disasters, such as the case of the public sector, factory automation company now mainly direct B2C (Business to Consumer) services are affecting the individual has spread. In this paper we propose a method of platforms and components, and network configuration plan for exploration robot design based on remote control and monitoring system with IoT.

  • Internet of Things (IoT) is a term that has been introduced in recent years, and it defines objects being able to connect and transfer data through the internet. Although some IoT-related products are currently available in the market, there are still some IoT problems that need to be overcome, such as the technology issues and lack of confidence and understanding of IoT. This study aims to analyze the influential factors in building successful IoT system for smart supply chain. This study develops the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the influential factors in IoT. This study finds that tangible factors (Technology, Value and Connectivity) are more important than the intangible factors (Operation and Intelligence). Finally, this study concludes that after enterprises build a good IoT connectivity system, it is essential to combine this with good IoT technology to create a successful IoT environment. The findings may help practitioners implement IoT in smart supply chains to deal with disruptions, risks and vulnerabilities in the post-pandemic era.

  • Internet of Things (IoT) is considered to be the next wave of Information Technology transformation after the Internet has changed the process of doing business. Since the domain of IoT ranging from the sensor technology to service to the users is wide, the structure of the research domain is not delineated clearly. To do that we suggest to use the Technology Stack Model proposed by Porter et al.(2014) to measure the maturity level of IoT in organizations. Based on the Stack Model, for the general understandings of IoT, we do keyword analyses on the academic papers whose major research issue is IoT. It is found that the current status of IoT application from the perspectives of cloud and big data analytics is not active, meaning that the real value of IoT has not been realized. We also examine the cases which deal with the part of cloud process which is crucial for value accrual. Based on these findings, we suggest the future direction of IoT research. We also propose that IT is to value chain what IoT is to the Stack Model to derive value in organizations.

  • This study investigates the organizational factors including firm size, adaptive capability, absorptive capability, innovative capability, and executive support to determine internet of things, production and services, and organizational performance. Research design, data, and methodology: A quantitative methodology was employed, involving the distribution of surveys to 460 employees occupying managerial and strategic roles. These individuals have accrued a minimum of one year of experience within 20 leading manufacturing and distribution companies in Thailand, each boasting a workforce exceeding 250 employees. Sampling techniques utilized encompass judgmental, quota, and snowball sampling. Furthermore, analysis of the data was conducted through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM). Results: The findings indicate that factors such as firm size, adaptive capability, absorptive capability, and innovative capability exert significant influence on the Internet of Things (IoT). In addition, IoT significantly impacts both production and services. Furthermore, the study highlights the significant influence of production and services on organizational performance. However, the anticipated relationship between executive support and IoT lacks support according to the results. Conclusions: This study highlights the transformative potential of IoT for the manufacturing and distribution sector, paving the way for enhanced efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

  • Recently, the number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has been increasing exponentially. These IoT devices are directly connected to the internet to exchange information. IoT devices are becoming smaller and lighter. However, security measures are not taken in a timely manner compared to the security vulnerabilities of IoT devices. This is often the case when the security patches cannot be applied to the device because the security patches are not adequately applied or there is no patch function. Thus, security vulnerabilities continue to exist, and security incidents continue to increase. In this study, we classified and analyzed the most common security vulnerabilities for IoT devices and identify the essential vulnerabilities of IoT devices that should be considered for security when producing IoT devices. This paper will contribute to reducing the occurrence of security vulnerabilities in companies that produce IoT devices. Additionally, companies can identify vulnerabilities that frequently occur in IoT devices and take preemptive measures.

  • Computing Performance, sensor, storage, memory, and network costs have been steadily declining, and IoT services have recently become more active. The Internet of Things is linked with Big Data to create new business, and public institutions and corporations are hurry to import Internet of things. As the importance of the Internet of things has increased, the number of devices supporting the IoT has rapidly increased. With the development of the Internet of Things, various types of Internet services are being developed. For this reason, there is an increasing demand for IoT service designers and developers for IoT service case automatic search technology. IoT service designers can avoid duplication with existing services through service case retrieval and developers can save cost and time by combining existing reusable service equipment. This paper proposes IoT-Lite ontology for IoT and Semantic Web service to solve the above-mentioned problems. The existing ontologies for IoT, despite its many advantages, are not widely used by developers because it has not overcome the relatively slow drawbacks of increasing complexity and searching for development. To complement this, this study uses the IoT-Lite ontology introduced by W3C as a model and a semantic web service for automatic system retrieval. 3D camera, GPS, and 9-axis sensor, and IoT-Lite designed by IoT-Lite technique are integrated with the semantic technique and implemented directly.

  • In general, IoT(Internet of things) designate the intelligence technologies and services which interact all necessity information between human and things, things and thing and things and systems with all things connecting through the internet based. The smart home in present of IoT environment fuses the daily supplies/equipment which needs to use for the private life with the internet of things that is the fruit of the converged business through all most private consumption related in vastly. The concept of smart home has been built around early 2000s due to the spread of high speed internet and advanced of smart electronics and internet, furthermore influencing by the enhancement of wireless network and smart devices, it is advanced as a smart home within the internet of things environment. Smart home service inside the house which most closely implemented with personal life is being developed and advanced in various forms. These developments may exert a positive effect, but if it does not resolve the security issues for the smart home service, then it may cause a big plague of privacy and personal life.
