The Internet of Things (IoT) era, in which all items used in daily life are equipped with a network connection function, and they are closely linked to increase the convenience of life and work, has opened wide. Robots also need to develop according to the IoT environment. A use of new type of evolved fuzzy machine (EFM) for generating legged robot trajectory in IoT enviornmentms is discussed in this paper. Fuzzy system has been widely used for describing nonlinear systems. In fuzzy system, determination of antecedent and consequent structures of fuzzy model has been one of the most important problems. EFM is described which carries out evolving antecedent and consequent structure of fuzzy system for legged robot. To generate the robot trajectory, parameters of each structure in the fuzzy system are tuned automatically by the EFM. The results demonstrate the performance of the proposed approach for the legged robot.
IoT (Internet of Things) is a collective term referring to application services that provide information through sensors/devices connected to the internet. The real world application of IoT is expanding fast along with growing number of sensors/devices. However, since IoT application relies on vertical combination of sensors/devices networks, information sharing within IoT services remains unresolved challenge. Consequently, IoT sensors/devices demand high construction and maintenance costs, rendering the creation of new IoT services potentially expensive. One solution is to launch an IoT open market for information sharing similar to that of App Store for smart-phones. Doing so will efficiently allow novel IoT services to emerge across various industries, because developers can purchase licenses to access IoT resources directly via an open market. Sharing IoT resource information through an open market will create an echo-system conducive for easy utilization of resources and communication between IoT service providers, resource owners, and developers. This paper proposes the new business model of IoT open market for information sharing, and the requirements for ensuring security and standardization of open markets.
This study propose the traffic shaping scheme on IoT Network. The proposed scheme can be operated on the gateway which called sink node and control the IoT traffic with considering the traffic type(real-time based or non real-time based). It is proved that the proposed scheme shows a efficient and compatible result by the numerical analysis and the simulation on the proposed model. And the efficient of the proposed scheme by the numerical analysis has a approximate result of the simulation.
With the broad adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT) in a variety of scenarios and application services, management and orchestration entities require upgrading the traditional architecture and develop intelligent models with ultra-reliable methods. In a heterogeneous network environment, mission-critical IoT applications are significant to consider. With erroneous priorities and high failure rates, catastrophic losses in terms of human lives, great business assets, and privacy leakage will occur in emergent scenarios. In this paper, an efficient resource slicing scheme for optimizing federated learning in software-defined IoT (SDIoT) is proposed. The decentralized support vector regression (SVR) based controllers predict the IoT slices via packet inspection data during peak hour central congestion to achieve a time-sensitive condition. In off-peak hour intervals, a centralized deep neural networks (DNN) model is used within computation-intensive aspects on fine-grained slicing and remodified decentralized controller outputs. With known slice and prioritization, federated learning communications iteratively process through the adjusted resources by virtual network functions forwarding graph (VNFFG) descriptor set up in software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) enabled architecture. To demonstrate the theoretical approach, Mininet emulator was conducted to evaluate between reference and proposed schemes by capturing the key Quality of Service (QoS) performance metrics.
According to existing study into the remote fault diagnosis procedure, the current diagnostic approach has an imperfect decision model, which only supports communication in a close distance. An Internet of Things (IoT)-based remote fault diagnostic approach for wind power equipment is created to address this issue and expand the communication distance of fault diagnosis. Specifically, a decision model for active power coordination is built with the mechanical energy storage of power generation equipment with a remote diagnosis mode set by decision tree algorithms. These models help calculate the failure frequency of bearings in power generation equipment, summarize the characteristics of failure types and detect the operation status of wind power equipment through IoT. In addition, they can also generate the point inspection data and evaluate the equipment status. The findings demonstrate that the average communication distances of the designed remote diagnosis method and the other two remote diagnosis methods are 587.46 m, 435.61 m, and 454.32 m, respectively, indicating its application value.
The most important point in the QoS management system to ensure the quality of the IoT system design goal is quality measurement system and the quality evaluation system. This research study is a matrix model for the IoT based on key quality measures by diagnosis system structure and function. Developing for the quality metrics measured Internet of Things environment will provide the foundation for the Internet of Things quality measurement/analysis. IoT matrix system for quality evaluation is a method to describe the functional requirements and the quality requirements in a single unified table for quality estimation performed. Comprehensive functional requirements and quality requirements by assessing the association can improve the reliability and usability evaluation. When applying the proposed method IoT quality can be improved while reducing the QoS signaling, the processing, the basis for more efficient quality assurances as a whole.
Recently, the competition among global IT companies for the market occupancy of the IoT(Internet of Things) is fierce. Internet of Things are all the things and people around the world connected to the Internet, and it is becoming more and more intelligent. In addition, for the purpose of providing users with a customized services to variety of context-awareness, IoT platform and related research have been active area. In this paper, we analyze third party instant messengers of Windows 8 Style UI and propose a digital forensic methodology. And, we are well aware of the Android-based map and navigation applications. What we want to show is GPS information analysis by using the R. In addition, we propose a structured data analysis applying the hierarchical clustering model using GPS data in the digital forensics modules. The proposed model is expected to help support the IOT services and efficient criminal investigation process.
Securing objects in the Internet of Things (IoT) is essential. Authentication model is one candidate to secure an object, but it is only limited to handle a specific type of attack such as Sybil attack. The authentication model cannot handle other types of attack such as trust-based attacks. This paper proposed two-phase security protection for objects in IoT. The proposed method combined authentication and statistical models. The results showed that the proposed method could handle other attacks in addition to Sybil attacks, such as bad-mouthing attack, good-mouthing attack, and ballot stuffing attack.
Deep learning with large amount of computations is difficult to implement on micro-sized IoT devices or moblie devices. Recently, lightweight deep learning technologies have been introduced to make sure that deep learning can be implemented even on small devices by reducing the amount of computation of the model. Quantization is one of lightweight techniques that can be efficiently used to reduce the memory and size of the model by expressing parameter values with continuous distribution as discrete values of fixed bits. However, the accuracy of the model is reduced due to discrete value representation in quantization. In this paper, we introduce various quantization techniques to correct the accuracy. We selected APoT and EWGS from existing quantization techniques, and comparatively analyzed the results through experimentations The selected techniques were trained and tested with CIFAR-10 or CIFAR-100 datasets in the ResNet model. We found out problems with them through experimental results analysis and presented directions for future research.
Korea has high quality level of ICT Technologies, however it still have a long way to go before invigoration of ICT in agriculture industry. The government of Korea supply to agriculture ICT systems, however these are the enclosed type and insufficient the level of connectivity, compatibility, and integrity between ICT systems. Farmers can not share crop information and one system can not use with others in combination. Recently, IoT(Internet of Things) become popular to emphasize the vision of a global internet and ICT industry. The IoT is a critical technology that leads future internet generation. We believe that IoT will change status of agriculture industry and appearance of various agriculture business model. Using IoT technology is provided a platform of opportunities to optimize work processes and efficient use of energy, time and labour in farm. It can automatically control temperature, humidity, sunshine system and so on for optimal growth conditions at greenhouse and plant factory. Growth setting can even be controlled and monitored crop condition and disease by a smartphone app or PC. It is possible to improve quality of farming and farm product. We suggest that construction of IoT platform through open API in agriculture industry.
