Recent advances in the internet infrastructure have resulted in a large number of huge Web sites and portals worldwide. These Web sites are being visited by various types of users in many different ways. Among all the web page access sequences from different users, some of them occur so frequently that may need an attention from those who are interested. We call them frequent access patterns and access sequences that can be frequent the candidate patterns. Since these candidate patterns play an important role in the incremental Web mining, it is important to efficiently generate, add, delete, and search for them. This thesis presents a novel tree structure that can efficiently store the candidate patterns and a related set of algorithms for generating the tree structure adding new patterns, deleting unnecessary patterns, and searching for the needed ones. The proposed tree structure has a kind of the 3 dimensional link structure and its nodes are layered.

The article describes the concept of a Web-portal of an educational institution; the technical conditions for the creation of the Web-portal of the educational institution were determined; the features of the use of the Web-portal in the educational process and its organization are revealed. The scientific and practical value of the article lies in the fact that the use of portals in education will improve the management of an educational institution, activate and bring the educational process to the level of modern technologies at all its stages, as well as enhance the interaction of parents and students with employees of the educational institution.

Purpose: This study investigated the linking words of nurse which were presented together with nurse on phrase, clauses or sentence of documents or conversations in the Internet portals and social media. Methods: The linking words with nurse were calculated by the number of presentation on conversations or documents, in Google, Daum, Naver, Twitter and Facebook. The changes of characteristics and the trend of yearly changes of major linking words of nurse were investigated by the type of media. In order to identify the meaning of the words, clustering of the collected linking words by categories was analysed and the characteristics of each cluster were classified. Results: A total number of reviewed linking words was 17,399,711 and the most frequently presenting words were hospital, work and person. The words related to people were the most highly presented and the next were those of emotion, professional and place respectively. Conclusion: With analysing the trends of changes and characteristics of words by yearly base and clusters, we attempted to investigate the image of nurse that the public think and feel about nurse.

With the development of cloud computing, internet technology and Internet of Things(IoT), most of applications are being smarter and changing from native application to SaaS (Software as a Service) application. New versatile SaaS applications are being released through various app portals (e.g. appstore, googleplay, T-Store, and so on). However, a user has a difficulty in searching, choosing an suitable application to him. It is also hard for him to know what functions of each SaaS application are useful. He wants to be recommended something inter-operated SaaS service according to his personality and his situation. Therefore, this paper presents a way of making mash-up of SaaS applications in order to provide the most convenient inter-operated SaaS service to user. This paper also presents SaaS Application Mash-up Framework (SAMF), complex context and rule matrix. The proposed SAMF is a main system that totally manage SaaS application mash-up service. Complex context and rule matrix are key components in order to recommend what SaaS applications are needed and how those SaaS applications are inter-operated. The SAMF collects complex contexts (User Description, Status Description, SaaS Service Description) in order to choose which SaaS applications are useful, analyze what functions to use, how to mash-up.

If a company's actions to save or avoid taxes are judged to be tax evasion rather than legal tax action by the tax authorities, the company will not only pay tax but also non-tax costs such as damage to corporate image and stock price decline due to a series of tax evasion-related news articles. Therefore, this study measures the frequency of occurrence of tax evasion controversial keywords in internet news portal as a factor to measure the severity of the case, and analyzes the effect of the frequency of occurrence on corporate value. In the Korean stock market, we crawl related articles from internet news portal by using keywords that are controversial for tax evasion targeting top companies based on market capitalization, and generate a time series of the frequency of occurrence of keywords about tax evasion by company and analyze the effect of frequency of appearance on book value versus market capitalization. Through panel regression and impulse response analysis, it is analyzed that the frequency of appearance has a negative effect on the market capitalization and the effect gradually decreases until 12 months. This study examines whether the tax evasion issue affects the corporate value of Korean companies and suggests that it is necessary to take these influences into account when entrepreneurs set up tax-planning schemes.

Google, an internet search service with extensive user base, has provided Book Search service. Google has pursued collaboration with publishers and libraries to obtain content for Book Search service; publisher community for the purpose of sourcing the books with copyrights, and the libraries for the purpose of digitizing their collections and also utilizing already digitized resources. Google Book Search Service has evoked significant controversy because of the potential monopoly problems and its risk, accompanied by Google's huge influence and broad user spectrum. This study, thus, suggests the countermeasures that library community should prepare in order to cope with the Google Book Search.

The study aimed to assess the state of electronic security for the website of the Deanship of Library Affairs at Northern Border University, as one of the university's electronic portals, which provides distinguished knowledge services to faculty members, through the Saudi Digital Library, and the integrated automated system for libraries (Symphony) with the definition of cyber security of the university, and the most important threats The study sought to analyze the opinions of a wide sample of faculty members, towards evaluating the state of electronic security for the Deanship of Library Affairs portal, through the use of both the analytical method, as well as the survey, using the questionnaire tool, and the study sample consisted of 95 A faculty member of all academic categories and degrees, and university faculties, and the study concluded that it is necessary to work to overcome the relative slowness of the university's Internet, with the faculty members notifying the information security services through e-mail and SMS service, with the continuous updating of operating systems, Apply and use the latest anti-spyware, hacking, and antivirus software at the university, while conducting extensive research studies towards information security services, and contracting It aims to introduce information security risks, and ways to combat and overcome them, and spread the culture of information security among faculty members.

In this paper, I will discuss how the Internet has spread rapidly in our lives. Large portals and social networks experience service attacks that access personal customers' databases. This interferes with normal service through DDoS (Distribute Denial of Service Attack), which is the topic I want to discuss. Among the types of DDoS, TCP SYN Flooding attacks are rarely found because they use few traffics and its attacking type is regular transaction. The purpose of this study is to find and suggest the method for accurate detection of the attacks. Through the analysis of TCP SYN Flooding attacks, we find that these attacks cause Backscatter effect. This study is about the algorithm which detects the attacks of TCP SYN Flooding by the study of Backscatter effect.

Technology acceptance is one of the most popular research areas. Rapid developments in technology are making human life more comfortable. However, still most of the rural area has been deprived of benefits of technological advancement. Seventy percent population of India resides in rural area. Leveraging the improved penetration of the internet; mobile friendly population in rural India has been increasingly shopping online in the last few years. e-Governance is one of the important vehicles to provide efficient services to the citizens by Governments. One major obstacle is acceptance of e-Governance platforms by the citizens. Considering the increasing trend of using e-Commerce in rural area, this paper attempts to investigate moderating effect of online shopping experience on intention to use e-Governance portals. We surveyed 365 villagers across Maharashtra: one of the leading states in India. The result confirmed online shopping experience moderates the relationship between: 'perceived security & privacy' and 'attitude'; 'perceived security & privacy' and 'intention to use'; 'Perceived usefulness' and 'attitude'; and, 'attitude' and 'intention to use'. In this study definition of moderating variable 'experience' is unique and different than most of the popular studies. We defined experience as: 'prior use of any application of technology similar to the target application of technology'. Whereas prior studies considered experience as prior experience with target application of the technology.

This paper has analyzed how the format of the text page and the contents of space surrounding the text in the news stories of the portal sites are made-up. The result of analysis showed that the formats of the text page in Naver news story were more intricate than those of Daum, Nate and Yahoo. Also, Naver was higher in the number of advertising, the type of advertising, the entertainment contents, and various types of contents than other three portals. Especially, the percentage of new story related to entertainers was the highest. It was the portal site Daum that advertised the news story most of all in its text page. In contrast, it was portal site Yahoo that inserted the advertisements least of all. But from the whole sides, it was found that the formats and contents of the text page of the news story in these three portal sites have similarly been made-up. Consequently speaking, for the serviceability of use in news story, it can be evaluated that the news service method in portal sites is higher than that in press dot coms.
