Developing Digital Contents Using Multimedia Technology (멀티미디어 기술을 활용한 디지털 컨텐츠 개발)

  • The emergence of the new technologies, which are represented by multimedia and the internet, brings the tremendous change in respect of process, record, delivery, and transmission of the knowledge and information. The new digital contents made by these technologies help to improve the acquisition efficiency of the knowledge and information by directly and simultaneously stimulating humans' different senses. This paper concentrates on how the accumulated computer technologies such as multimedia and the Internet can be used to make the effective digital contents. This paper suggests four development method for the digital contents and gives the implemented example for each development method.

  • With advances in smart and ICT(information and communication technology) technologies, our life style has been changing dramatically. Now everybody can enjoy the benefits of such technologies in every aspect of his/her daily life. Currently more and more people are trying to have smart devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs so that smart devices become the bare necessities. New smart technologies have created a new concept called smart learning in education area. As educational smart contents become popular, we need quality standards for the contents. Those standards are essential for evaluating the smart contents and suggesting guidance for future smart contents production. Although there are some standards for the existing e-learning environments, to our best knowledge, there are no standards for educational smart contents in the literature. The purpose of this paper is to develop quality standards for educational smart contents. The proposed quality standards are based on the existing quality standards in e-learning environments and include some characteristics of smart learning. For development of quality standards, wide experts group from academy and industry are selected and surveyed. Their responses are analyzed based on thorough statistical analysis so that final quality standards for educational smart contents are developed.

  • The development of IT related technology has made it possible to offer 'Any Time, Any Where, Any Service' to the users and internet-based service became accessible while on the move through wireless internet service. Moreover, the development of various wireless contents has been provided diverse ioy and convenience to life. However, the existing wireless contents had been subordinate to the wireless internet platform because it had not been set up for a standardized environment. Therefore, repeated developments of contents have been causing waste of resource, time and manpower. This paper aims at suggesting WIPI-bases artificial reefs search contents which have become independent from platform by using JAVA. Artificial reefs facilities are a government project for increasing the revenue of fishermen but only few fishermen know the information about the location of artificial reefs and most of them are not aware of the location of these facilities. There(ore this thesis plans to develop WIPI-bases artificial reefs search contents to provide information such as the location, the depth, and the bottom material to anglers and those fishermen who do not know the location of artificial reefs so that the fishermen can have the opportunity to increase their revenue and also the opportunity to catch a big fish for anglers.

  • The rapid diffusion of using internet and technical development becomes a driving force creating and developing the industries based on internet and made up an electronic commerce market which is a new form of business market. The object of this study is the business form between the consumer and the enterprise having a rapid growth nowadays. We classified enterprises' characteristic factors in internet shopping mall into product's characteristic factors on shopping mall, characteristic factors of the system on shopping mall and characteristic factors of the interaction between customers and shopping mall in the internet shopping mall. And then we investigated how these classified characteristic factors on shopping mall could influence on customer loyalty.

  • Recently, mobile internet technologies are enabling the possibility of radically new computing services which can share information and communicate with others on the move. In this situation, prior studies have attempted to identify of what factors make people use mobile internet. However, prior researches focused on investigating the factors affecting users' adoption to Mobile Internet. In order to offer beneficial materials to mobile internet companies, we investigated important factors to increase mobile users' value from the viewpoints of customer. In particular, this study was progressed how characteristics of mobile contents affect users' intrinsic attributes and how perceived users' network effects affect users' value in the mobile computing environments. To empirically test proposed hypotheses, we have analyzed 285 survey data gathering from mobile internet users and verified hypotheses by using SEM (structural equation modeling). Based on the results of this study, we found that content accessibility and content quality have significant impacts on users' intrinsic attributes such as perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment. In addition, this study also revealed that perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment were positively related to users' emotional value. Moreover, this study found that perceived users' network effects could affect users' monetary value by mediating expected benefits. Based on our findings, we can understand that this perspective can provide a deeper understanding of the mobile users' value adoption by bridging the gap between mobile internet studies and actual practice.

A Study on the Establishment of Evaluation Criterion for the Housing Information Related Internet Web Sites (주거 관련 정보 사이트의 평가기준 설정에 관한 연구)

  • Currently, obtaining information about the housing studies through the internet web sites is one of the outstanding mediums. Those are of the housings, architecture, interior design, furniture products, hotels and its journals, etc., and out of all those informations are the highly expected value of use. But. it may causes the public users to experience a negative effect, because many of those informations provided on the internet web sites related to the housing studies/informations are not providing an equal quality of information. And measuring the quality is also not easy. This study focuses on the establishment of evaluation criterion for the housing information-related internet web sites. In such a vein, it proposes a clear model to evaluate the information qualities with the 43 questionnaires / examining items. To test the questionnaires/rating items, the analysis has been implemented which has shown the reciprocal effect between the 2 major factors. One major factor with 4 variables on the information searches are (1) the accuracy/reliability of contents and techniques, (2) the design of a picture and communication, (3) the readability and security, and (4) the security of private information, and the other factor with 3variables on the additional services are (1) the diversities of contents and ease of orderings, (2) the abilities of search and e-mail, and (3) the events and after services. This study/rating model will provide the users with a fundamental material in evaluating the quality of housing information on the internet web sites.

  • A lot of local colleges are public relation(PR) using on off line media. However, to examine the effectiveness and efficiency can be maximized to promote research is still lacking. This study was presented to the utilization of the Internet media in local colleges. As a result, local college students were used more offline than online media. Add admission period, girls were higher utilization of the internet entrance site. When nonscheduled admission, vocation high school students were more internet media use. Academic high school students used the internet media, when add admission period.

Factors Affecting User's Repurchase Intention towards Chinese Internet Shopping Malls

  • More and more researchers and practitioners in the field of e-commerce are paying attentions to the retention of online customers. However, only a few researches can be addressed in the context of internet shopping mall repurchase intention. This study aims at investigating and delineating the important characteristic factors which affect consumers' repurchase intentions by conducting an empirical analysis. In order to fulfill this purpose effectively, a comprehensive review of previous studies regarding information system success model was performed in order to render a stronger theoretical foundation for our study. Finally, based on the DeLone and McLean (2003) IS success model, information quality, system quality, service quality, customer satisfaction and repurchase intention were employed as five constructs in the research model and hypotheses on mutual relationships between these constructs were established accordingly. Structural equation modeling was employed to analyze the data collected from 204 internet shopping mall consumers in China. Our theoretical model exhibited a good fit with the observed data. The empirical results showed particularly strong support for the effects of information quality, service quality and user satisfaction. The findings of this research contributed to the extension of repurchase intention study in the context of Internet shopping malls. Our research also offered implications for practitioners in regards to devising internet shopping malls so as to increase consumers' repurchase intention to use these services.

Effective Use of Internet Communication Tools in Hotel Marketing (호텔마케팅에서 인터넷 의사소통 도구의 효율적 이용방안)

  • With the introduction of internet applications to the hotel industry hotel customers are very willing to use the electronic communication tools in their both searching information and purchasing behaviors. It is generally agreed that the internet communication tools can be a strategic one for less competitive hotels in the traditional marketing environment. This study found that there are significant differences among several classifications of hotels in the use of internet communications as a marketing tool. The study also found that there are some possibilities for local hotels to overcome the current marketing handicaps with internet communications.

  • As wireless internet market grows rapidly in recent years, demands of various contents in wireless internet is significantly being increased. XHTML with extensibility that can support many kinds of internet web clients and platforms is established in world-wide standards of markup language. XHTML reforming HTML4 in XML 1.0 is recognized that It is the heart of the technology to integrate existing contents and increase the interoperability in wired and wireless internet. XHTML Basic for wireless internet are based on the XHTML. In this paper, we design and implement an document editor for XHTML Basic.'rho wireless internet document editor supports CSS creation that users can display XHTML Basic documents as they want. It also supports WYSIWYG editing that user4 inn make out them without difficulty.
