As Global industrial structure is diversified, multinational corporations accomplished fast internationalization to introduction of new management policy by development of an IT technology. Enterprise' business environment is changing transcending border. To overcome raging waves of change accident and to be secured enterprise's future, the logistics is recognized the third profit source joining in curtailment of sale enlargement, production cost. To seek cost saving or reform in logistics class that is last area of pursuit of profits within ancient city life in the fast lane from these viewpoint, importance of study that integrates and manages international logistics bases supply neck walk is emphasized. Specially, to meet on in terms of competitive power security regarding curtailment of logistics cost is available through link between logistics bases, various consumer's request, merchandise and service logistics management that supply fixed quantity as is reliable in right place at good season was embossed by point game plan of business management, and SCM efficiency anger of mortification international logistics activity importance of study that see at that dominate competitive advantage point bring. This study analyzes interrelation and presents model for integration of international logistics bases supply network with supply network habit at factor and supply chain, and supply network activity in integration of supply chain process and production. Also, it establishes following method of study to achieve study purpose for actual proof analysis for integration sequence of international logistics bases supply network. Specially, immersion of network and supply network, very high interrelation appeared by thing which is with international logistics base supply network integration. The integration of international logistics base supply network means that the enterprises which give trust and sincerity deal with market environment change positively and can decide proceeding of various cooperative work. Also, it means the possibility by necessity of cooperative relation and interdependence to continuous immersion and normative immersion, for the maintain of long business relations.

The expansion on the scale of international trade and rapid economic growth in Northeast Asia have caused intense competition among global companies for securing international logistics center in Northeast Asia. Analyzing location competitiveness for international logistics center in Northeast Asia, this paper aims to extract implications for enhancing locational competitiveness. Employing the relative importance among location selection factors extracted from AHP analysis in prior study, we evaluated the major five port-cities in Northeast Asia including Busan, Gwangyang, Shanghai, Qingdao and Tokyo. In the evaluations, Shanghai (3.926) ranked as the first, followed by Busan (3.859), Qingdao (3.555), Tokyo (3.013) and Gwangyang (2.915). Furthermore, the causal relationships between determinants for location choice decision (logistics factor, cost factor, market factor, service factor and environmental factor) and dependent variables (competitiveness of international logistics center, potentiality to growth, present intention to move into and future plan to move into) were analyzed to provide implications. Results provide useful insights for further improvements, and helps strategic agenda for future development of port-cities.

Purpose - Given the increasing interest in the Eurasian Initiative, government-wide studies for the construction of the Silk Road Express are currently being conducted. However, the Korean Government has no experience in operating international freight railroads and has not encountered problems in train service plans, international conventions, and customs clearance, which will arise when TKR is connected to TSR, TCR, and TMGR. Research design, data and methodology - Given these conditions, the cases of direct services in international freight railroads between China and Europe are investigated to identify the possible problems in the connection between TKR and continental railroads. This study also identifies the plans for activating Eurasian railroad logistics. Results - For the service of international freight trains, Korea needs to join international conventions, such as OJSD, as a regular member. Furthermore, any relevant international conference after the conclusion of such an agreement is needed for the agreement on train service schedules, fees, and procedures for passing border stations. Conclusions - Customs clearance and relevant documents must be standardized to address the differences in clearance systems between nations.

Purpose - This study is a study to investigate the problem of the selection of means of transportation in international logistics by studying the basics of logistics activities, selection factors of transportation methods, and multimodal transportation. Research design, data, methodology - This study is composed of 5 chapters through literature study. Chapter 1 describes the functions and transportation system of international logistics, Chapter 2 selects transportation, Chapter 3 deals with maritime transportation and multimodal transportation, Chapter 4 describes multimodal transportation in terms of customer service, Chapter 5 addresses the implications and conclusions. Results - When looking at the problem of selecting a means of transportation, it is important that the parties involved in the transportation choose which means of transportation for their convenience and profit during the transportation process. Here, there will be factors to consider, including transportation cost, when selecting a means of transportation, and each means of transportation may have characteristics or advantages and disadvantages. Considering all these points, the adoption of multimodal transportation from a customer service point of view may be the answer. Conclusions - This study pays attention to the academic understanding related to the selection of means of transportation and to how usefully this thesis can be used in the selection of transportation related persons, especially shippers, from a practical level.

Taking advantage of geographical position of Korea located on the main route of world-wide service, Port Logistics Industry can be strategic industry which secures international competitiveness necessary for Korea to be hub of Northeast Asian's logistics. Along with the advent of super large container vessel, world ports environment changed from "milkway" type, which means vessel calls every port for service to "Hub & Spoke" type, which means vessel calls regional central port and feeder service for the rest ports. As environment changes, regional ports in Northeast Asia are competing each other tougher and tougher and introducing or developing port logistics information system based on state-of-the-art technology in order to adapt themselves to new environment, thus to be Hub port. Taking this situation into consideration, we want to define clearly the meaning and scope of port logistics IT and review the global trend of port logistics IT. Finally we want to find future development of port logistics IT which we have to achieve.

The purpose of this study is to consider the problem on pursuit of logistics strategy by our international shipping company in international shipping business under the said circumstance due to the open international shipping market and to suggest the logistics strategy for the consideration of the logistics competition under new international shipping circumstances. The results of empirical analysis are mentioned as follows; First, it shall be considered to maintain the size of company bigger than a certain capability so that it may obtain the superior competition of logistics. Second, as there are the plus correlations between the competition of logistics and the logistic support, it is necessary to pursuit the upgrade service with using EDI system and making up the complex shipping and integrated logistics system in general. Third, with the rationalization of finance policy and the profitable management of shipping company the ratio of net worth can be raised and it can be achieved to make the sound financial structure as reducing the excessive debt ratio. Fourth, it can be effort continuously to perform the investment for the infrastructure of logistics support & the institutional supplement so that it may achieve to increase the efficiency of logistic support at pier and to reduce the cost of logistic support.

Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to suggest the following plans, the first plan is to research the companies which is offering the logistics information on the Web site based on the internet and to investigate the contents of Logistics Information, then the second plan is to give companies which is to get the logistics information on Internet, more efficient ways using internet based logistics information systems.

This study aims to verify the structural relationship among service orientation, employees' satisfaction and business performance primarily on the International Freight Forwarders. For carrying out the study, literature survey relating to service orientation, satisfaction and performance along with empirical analysis was carried out. Results of analyses were found to be as follows: first, International Freight Forwarder's service orientation has had influence on employees' satisfaction second, employees' satisfaction in the freight forwarding companies has had influence on financial performance.
