Three major Asian countries, Korea, China, and Japan, shared 18.3% of global GDP and 14.2% of global trade volume in 2005. When considering this number, cooperation of these three countries is very important. Also, it is needless to say that we need efficient international logistics system in Asia. The key point to realize efficient international logistics system is unit load system utilizing pallets and containers. To build up efficient logistics system among Korea, China, and Japan, we need 'total palletization' with standardized pallets. We may regard 'total palletization' as an 'efficient highway of North-Eastern Asia logistics.' In this study, we will suggest two kinds of effects, which logistics standardization among Korea, China, and Japan will make. One is the effect on economy and trade, and the other is the effect on logistics business and environments.

In this study, we suggest a standardization of the logistics terminologies in Korean Standard to improve its consistency. To support this work, some principles for terminology selection and corrections are studied based on the guideline in international standard. The revised terminologies are summarized in Appendix for 20 logistics-related Korean Standards.

글로벌 경쟁시대로 접어들면서 산업 분야를 막론하고 표준화의 중요성은 날로 증대되고 있다. 세계화가 진척됨에 따라 빠른 속도로 증가하는 국가 간 무역에서도 표준화를 통한 호환성 확보는 수출 경쟁력을 결정하는 필수적인 요소가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 표준 및 표준화에 대한 교육 실태와 표준화 교육이 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향에 대해서 연구하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 우리나라 정보통신 및 전기전자 기업을 샘플로 하여 표준화 교육의 실태를 확인하였다. 또한 기업의 표준 및 표준화 교육에 영향을 미치는 요인을 기업의 특성, 업종, 업력, 그리고 교육에 대한 필요성 인식의 측면에서 확인하였다. 그 결과 기업의 특성과 표준화 교육에 대한 필요성의 인식에 따라서 표준 및 표준화 교육의 수준이 양적으로 달라짐을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 이러한 표준 및 표준화 교육의 실시 수준이 기업의 성과에 어떻게 영향을 미치는 지를 확인하였다. 연구 결과 표준화 교육의 횟수 및 교육 인원은 기업의 R&D 수행과 생산 및 품질 개선으로 대표되는 기업의 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 글로벌 경쟁에서 경쟁력을 확보하기 위한 방편으로 표준화 교육의 중요성에 대해서 확인하였다는 점에서 그 함의를 가진다.

Purpose - The purpose of this research was to examine the regulation and distribution channel of second-hand goods in cross-border trade in order to propose methods of protecting consumers through the international standardization of the intensifying second-hand trade and resource recycling. Research design, data, methodology - This study first defines several concepts relevant to research in international second-hand goods. Second, a questionnaire and interviews were conducted with manufacturers of second-hand toner cartridges and automobile parts to identify the current status of export and manufacturing. Results - The study proposes the international standardization of second-hand goods and waste to protect consumers and promote efficient resource recycling. Conclusions - The results of the study reveal that second-hand goods (except automobiles) do not have an HSK code to use for import/export data collection. Though used car exports are declining, used cars are increasing. Collecting data on used car parts is impossible because the buyers purchase and ship the second-hand parts.

Standards are increasing of importance for New & Renewable energy. The rapid growth of production is one reason for this but standards are equally important in ensuring the quality and reliability of installed New & Renewable energy systems, which have a propound impact on acceptance of the technology in the expanding marketplace. Korea government (Korea Agency for Technology and Standards, KAIST)make and implement a five year plans for promotion of international standardization of this field from 2004. KATS leads the technology innovations and eventually increases the international competitiveness. Strategic collaboration with other countries is also strengthened through Korea's participation in international standards and conformity assessment system such as IECEE(IEC system for conformity and certification of electrical equipment). One of the major goals of the Plan is to facilitate trade between Korea and its trading partners by emphasizing harmonization of its national conformity assessment system with international norms.

본 논문에서는 ITS 분야의 한국의 표준화 역량을 점검하였으며, 아시안 국가들의 ITS 표준화 참여 및 서비스 현황과 한국과의 협력 희망정도를 조사 분석하였다. 그 결과 한국은 ITS 표준화 분야에서 국제적인 역량을 인정받고 있으며, 싱가포르를 제외한 아세안 대부분의 국가들은 ITS 표준화 참여도와 서비스 도입이 미진한 것으로 파악되었다. 또한 아세안 대부분의 나라들이 한국과 ITS 표준화 협력을 희망하고 있으며, 우선적으로 ITS 표준화의 기반인 ITS 시스템 아키텍처 구축을 선호하는 것으로 파악되었다. 또한 표준화 도입 서비스분야로는 아세안 국가 간 물류운송 효율성 제고 등을 고려하여 화물 운송 분야가 우선 적용 서비스 분야로 제시되었다.

RFID 기술은 RFID 통신, 이동통신 및 네트워크 인프라, 그리고 정보 처리 기술이 결합된 대표적인 융합 기술이다. RFID 기술은 사용자의 주변 사물에 대한 정보 소통을 가능케 함으로써, 언제, 어디서나, 원하는 정보 서비스를 제공받을 수 있는 유비쿼터스 정보 사회의 기반 기술이라 할 수 있다. 우리나라는 RFID 기술에 대한 조기 개발 및 표준화 노력을 경주하여, 기술 주도권 확보와 함께 국제 표준화를 선도하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 RFID 표준과 관련이 있는 국제 표준화기구(ISO, IEC, ITU)에 선언된 RFID 표준특허 데이터를 분석하여 RFID 기술 동향에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 특히, 2013년 6월 기준으로 RFID 기술 관련 표준화를 담당하고 있는 국제 표준화기구인 ISO, ISO/IEC JTC1, ITU-T에 선언된 표준특허 906건을 대상으로 분석을 진행하였다.

It is needed to search the electronic commerce standardization and to analysis its policies to meet the international situations strategically and forecast the technology surroundings for electronic commerce. This study aims at searching the current state of electronic commerce standardization and analyzing policies on electronic commerce by the driving subject, that is, government and private organization, major countries, and standard classifications of electronic commerce technologies such as e-documents, e-catalog, e-payment, and e-process. The government and private organizations get information for the current state and policies for standardization on electronic commerce and put them practical use to make policies and strategy applications.

국가지리정보체계의 표준화는 정보의 공동활용 및 상호운용성의 확보 등을 이유로 중요한 존재로 부과되고 있다. 이의 표준화는 현재 구체적으로 추진되고 있는 현재 국제적으로 추진되고 있는 OSE/RM을 참조하여 발전할 수 있으며 이의 구조에 맞는 국가 표준의 제정이 요구된다. 현재 추진하고 있는 국가지리정보체계 표준화는 국가 기본도 표준화와 공통데이터교환포맷 표준화가 있으며 국가 기본도 표준화에서는 지형지물 코드 및 속성 부분데이타 모델링 등을 추진하고 있고 공통데이터교환포맷 표준화에서는 국외표준의 국내수용으로 그 기본 방향을 유지하고 있다.

Medical devices separated by a committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC TC (Technical Committee) 62 medical electrical equipment being promoted by the International standards. Actually, a lot of standards were existed, but many national and international standards for medical devices were lacking in practical standards that can be applied to their development. Most international standards were focused in electrical and mechanical safety of medical devices. Therefore, there were few practical standards which contain essential performance evaluation. Although medical device regulations do not enforce a fixed lifecycle model, activities are presented in a sequential manner, thus hinting at a waterfall process. Meanwhile, for a decade or more, software teams have benefitted from agile development methods. Several medical device manufacturers have adopted agile practices while keeping development in compliance with regulations, but conflicts arise and decisions have to be taken in favor of agility or formality. However, if there are new practical standards of medical devices, it must be possible to promote the medical devices industry in their nation. To do this, there is a need to develop a new standard could apply to the international market through the analysis of the medical device related technology. Consequently, new standards such as NP (New proposal) or NWIP (New Work Item Proposal) should be developed through international standardization of medical device technology.
