전자무역 서비스의 활용 저해요인에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Impeding Factors to Affect e-Trade Service)

  • In order to improve e-Trade service, this paper has deduced impeding factors after review of precedent research on e-Trade and analysis of e-Trade current status. Then an empirical analysis of whether variables deduced are detrimental factors to utilization of e-Trade service has been made on the basis of a research model and relevant hypotheses. The scope of e-Trade service indicated in this paper is limited to use of uTradeHub system. Analytical results for the improvement of e-Trade service clearly indicate that the higher the impeding factor to utilization of the system integration, logistics and customs clearance, marketing and users field, the more necessary the service improvement for invigoration of e-Trade service. However, foreign exchange field does not seem to require attention because SMEs have not active will to do electronic payment through the process of electronic documents.

  • In order to succeed in e-Trade Project in Korea, the related parties endeavor to introduce the e-title registry model such as Bolero model(Title Registry Model) and TEDI model (Repository Service Provider Model). Prior to mentioning the Model of e-Title Registry, desirable Global e-Trade Platform is the platform connecting Global e-Trade Platforms in each country and Bolero's Core Messaging Platform and e-Title Registry must be established in each country. Each e-Title Registry must be connected with another registry. Like Korea, Recognized Electronic Document Repository must be established as proxy for preserving, attesting, carrying out sending and receiving electronic document to prevent from disputes between parties and to carry out notarizing electronic documents and related transaction. The purpose of this paper is to promote the introduction of e-Title Registry in the e-Trade and to streamline the procedures of the electronic bill of lading.

Z세대의 소비 특성이 이커머스 산업에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Generation Z's Consumer Characteristics on the E-commerce Industry)

  • 본 연구는 Z세대의 소비 특성이 이커머스 이용에 미치는 영향을 다각도로 분석하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 통해 이커머스 기업들이 Z세대 소비자를 효과적으로 유치하고, 만족도를 높이며, 지속 가능한 고객 관계를 구축할 수 있는 구체적인 전략을 제시하는 데 기여하고자 한다. Z세대는 디지털 환경에 익숙하고 새로운 기술을 빠르게 수용하며, 강력한 소비 주체로서 주목받고 있다. 온라인 설문조사를 통해 60명의 응답자로부터 수집한 데이터를 활용하여 신뢰도, 타당도 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, Z세대의 소비 특성인 공유 주의적 소비, 가치 지향적 소비, 디지털 친화적 소비, 경험 중심적 소비 중 가치 지향적 소비와 디지털 친화적 소비가 이커머스 이용에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 이커머스 기업이 Z세대를 대상으로 한 마케팅 전략을 수립할 때 디지털 경험을 강화하고, 사회적 책임과 윤리적 가치를 강조하는 것이 중요함을 시사한다. 본 연구는 이커머스 기업이 Z세대 소비자를 유치하기 위한 전략을 수립하는 데 있어 유용한 통찰을 제공하며, 특히 Z세대 내에서 어떤 소비자 군집이 가장 영향을 미치는지 식별하는 데 중점을 둔다. 이러한 연구 결과는 이커머스 시장에서 Z세대의 소비 특성을 더욱 효과적으로 분석하고 대응할 수 있는 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있다.

  • The electronic trade(e-Trade) revolution is changing the international trade processes dramatically. It permits new kinds of interactions among exporting and importing firms as well as internally within the firms. Ever since the Internet became a popular communications medium in the 1990s, lawmakers have struggled to develop rules for determining which courts can hear disputes involving parties in different choice of law and jurisdictions. In conclusion, I suggest an ongoing research agenda for further refining and developing a more comprehensive cosmopolitan approach. Certainly, as these cases make clear, reconceptualizing the principles underlying court to-court relations is essential in a world where the idea of a transnational community of courts is fast becoming one of the dominant realities of twenty-first century law.

  • Although the fast advancing information infrastructure makes the connectivity possible to reach almost anywhere, it does not ensure a successful development of e-commerce for every country. The challenge will not come only from the technology, but also from the people. To examine the effect of cultural differences on the perception for Internet shopping, shoppers from two different countries - the U.S. and Korea - were chosen, and the perception for Internet shopping from each is contrasted.

AraProdMatch: A Machine Learning Approach for Product Matching in E-Commerce

  • Recently, the growth of e-commerce in Saudi Arabia has been exponential, bringing new remarkable challenges. A naive approach for product matching and categorization is needed to help consumers choose the right store to purchase a product. This paper presents a machine learning approach for product matching that combines deep learning techniques with standard artificial neural networks (ANNs). Existing methods focused on product matching, whereas our model compares products based on unstructured descriptions. We evaluated our electronics dataset model from three business-to-consumer (B2C) online stores by putting the match products collectively in one dataset. The performance evaluation based on k-mean classifier prediction from three real-world online stores demonstrates that the proposed algorithm outperforms the benchmarked approach by 80% on average F1-measure.

  • As the global epidemic continues to worsen, the pressure on the supply chain is also increasing. In this context, Internet shopping has ushered in new development opportunities. Under the influence of globalization, the development of cross-border e-commerce (CB-EC) is particularly remarkable. As China is a big manufacturing country, the growth of CB-EC is a significant opportunity for Chinese goods to enter the international market. Therefore, this paper comprehensively analyzes the current situation of the integrated development of China's manufacturing industry and CB-EC from four aspects: the operation mode, development mode, policy environment, and development prospect of CB-EC in China's manufacturing sector. This paper constructs an evaluation system including 19 secondary indicators to rank the CB-EC development environment of 30 provinces in China that have established comprehensive pilot zones of CB-EC.

  • This paper's objective is to provide insights about the problems and expansion strategies of electronic trade. Korean small and medium-sized firms have adopted the Internet since the end of 1990s in order to reshape their competitiveness, and it is now being utilized as a major export marketing instrument to develop new customers, save export transaction costs ad facilitate new work processes. However, at present, the use of the internet in the field of trading is limited to the collection of market information, owing to legal, technical and institutional restraints between countries. In addition to that, because firms have the difficulties in making the trade contract through the e-trade system, the negative recognition on its' utility has been spreaded gradually between companies. This is one of the barriers to block the expansion of e-Trade between Korean firms. Therefore, this paper points out the problems of e-trade in the environmental, institutional and strategic view and provides many considerations for establishing the expansion strategy of e-trade by the Korean government and trade supporting institutions.

  • To meet the demand of Korea's e-trade, global e-trade should be implemented and the global network is absolutely needed for the completion of e-trade. In this regard, this study suggested the concept and effect of global e-trade and analyzed the current status of PAA, ASEM projects which have been processing as pilot projects. Also, it derived tasks for the implementation of global e-trade through SWOT analysis and made up questions to the firms which are participating the pilot projects. Therefore, the four implementation models of global e-trade network are brought up. These models are very similar to each pilot project such as PAA, ASEM, and could be classified by developed and developing countries.

  • This paper intends to develop an performance evaluation framework of e-trade. The Korea e-trade has been largely attracting many research communities because it brings about e-trade platform which is happening at the early stage of information system maturity. It is true that many research works have been focusing on development issues in e-trade but not much works have been done in e-trade performance study. This paper suggests an e-trade performance framework based on both field and literatures surveys. In addition, an factor analysis model has been introduced to determine that the suggested factors are empirically supporting the hypotheses in the model. Since this paper is opening up many research issues in e-trade performance study many research group could participate in this research area.
