This study deals with transfer passengers in hub airports. The research objective is to derive measures for transfer passenger quantity enhancement at Incheon International Airport by applying Analytic Hierarchy Process. In pursuing the above objective, this study conducted a survey to evaluate various selection criteria for choosing transfer airports and ranked attributes in weight order with Analytic Hierarchy Process. Furthermore, based on the trend analysis of Incheon International Airport's transfer passenger movement, this paper analysed main transit routes of Incheon International Airports against competitor airports among the region. The main result found from the study is flight frequency, ticket price and connecting hour were the most important 3 factors when people choose transit airports. Therefore, it is recommended government, airport authority and airlines to cooperate closely to meet the transfer passengers' needs on frequency, price and transit hour of flights.

본 연구는 국내외 경제변화가 인천경제 및 인천국제공항에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증적 분석을 시도하였다. OECD회원국, 인천광역시와 인천국제공항을 연구대상으로 2001년 인천국제공항 개항 이후 11년간의 경제변화를 시계열 자료를 이용하여 다중회귀분석과 경로분석을 시도하였다. 연구결과, 국내외 경제변화는 인천경제 및 인천국제공항의 성장 및 활성화에 정(+)의 영향을 보여주지 않았으며 국제경제요인은 인천경제에 직접적으로 정(+)의 영향을 보였으나 한국경제와 연관된 총 효과는 부(-)의 영향을 보였다. 따라서 인천경제는 국내외 거시경제변화요인에 능동적으로 대응해야 할 뿐 만 아니라 내발적 성장방안이 요구되며 이를 위한 방법론으로 공항도시 조성의 필요성을 제시하였다.

Demand for air transportation in Korea keeps increasing, and the number of airport operations also grows as a result. The major two airports in Korea, Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport, share the metropolitan airspace, which is crowd with air traffic. As air traffic increases in the metropolitan airspace, the demand for the airport operations would outnumber the capacities of these airports. However, there is a room to efficiently manage the shortage of the airport capacity due to the different distributions of operations in these airports. This study presents a dynamic slot allocation that allows exchanging slots according to the traffic demand. The dynamic allocation mitigates the airports' capacity problem but the airspace capacity itself should be increased in order to tackle the problem fundamentally.

To prepare for the ever-increasing demand for air transport, airport operators should be well aware of the timing of the saturation of the facility and increase the capacity of the airport through extension or extension. The capacity of an airport is determined by the smallest value of the facilities that make up the airport, but it is generally customary to determine the capacity of the costly and time-consuming runway as a whole for the airport. For analyzing the capacity of the runway capacity, the study used the most accurate microscopic air traffic simulation, Simmod-PRO, to analyze the saturation time of three runways currently in Incheon International Airport's operation, and calculate the appropriate time for operation of the 4th runway. The study also calculate the relocation of Airport's high-speed exit taxiway for analyzing the increasing of capacity.

The purpose of this paper is to design a survey of passenger satisfaction by using the Likert five-scale for the passengers of Incheon International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport in China, and to combine the actual service situation of the airports in the two countries, using SPSS statistical software. Analyze and process statistics. Using the questionnaire survey method and exploratory factor analysis method, the airport service quality is analyzed to analyze the impact model of customer satisfaction. We will sort out the customer satisfaction with the two airports, compare and analyze the gaps in airport services between the two countries, and identify problems to formulate optimization and improvement plans.

This paper discusses the qualification criteria for international hub airport and suggests the strategies for Inchon International Airport (IIA) to be the hub airport in the East Asia. Recently, many East and Southeast Asia countries have invested on large scale international airports like Chap Lak Kok airport, Pudong airport etc.. as Korea have done on IIA. IIA to be open in 2001 will face a serious competition with these airport. Being a hub airport requires geographic proximity. sufficient volume of local traffic. uncongested infrastructure, a good accessibility to surrounding industrial centers. high quality of service to the airline. In order to promote airlines to land at IIA. Korea Government need to establish Open Sky Policy to many countries and national flag carriers of Korea need to be involved in a global alliance. Developing vicinity of IIA as free trade zone will generated more local traffic which makes IIA as more attractive candidate for airlines. The Korea airspace is one of the most restricted area in the world becuase of the national security. which limits civil aircraft maneuvers. The airspace need to be re-structured to exploit the full capacity of IIA.

An Airport is important space and even stands for the country because diverse people from other countries use a variety of facilities in the gateway to the country. Therefore, It is urgent for those people to increase efficiency and convenience of its usage and also. It's worth accumulating those know-how and technologies. In this situation, Incheon International Airport aiming to be a hub of north-east Asia need to focus more on restructuring general process of passenger's travel based on PI perspectives then simply improving a process of passenger's travel and have been trying to realize the process based on Innovation perspectives with following precess innovation consisting 5 steps And to conclude, this study will help Incheon International Airport to be innovative in a system of passenger's travel service related to a utility of airport and then achieve a hub Airport of North-East Asia.

2001년 인천국제공항의 개장과 함께 과거 우리나라 항공 수출입 관문 역할을 담당하던 김포공항의 항공물류 거점 기능은 급격히 쇠퇴하였다. 그러나 김포공항 지역의 입지적 이점에 힘입어 김포공항 물류단지는 오늘날 수도권의 중요한 도시물류 거점시설로 기능하고 있다. 분석결과 인천공항의 배후물류단지, 수입화물 중심의 부가가치 물류활동 그리고 수도권 지역의 도시물류 배송센터 역할 등은 현재 김포공항 물류단지에서 수행되는 대표적인 기능으로 파악된다. 하지만 도시물류 거점시설로서 공항물류단지의 기능은 향후 운영주체(공항공사)의 수익성 제고 전략에 따라 축소될 우려가 있다. 김포공항 물류단지가 공공 기능을 수행하는 도시물류 거점시설로 지속적으로 발전하기 위해서는 국가 및 지역 단위 물류거점(시설) 개발전략과 체계적으로 연계되어야 하며, 이를 위해서는 관련 법령 및 기본계획의 종합적인 정비가 수반되어야 할 것이다.

본 연구는 아시아 주요공항들의 경쟁력을 서비스 품질에 따라 평가하고자 하였다. 공항 경쟁력을 평가하는 요소는 무수히 많으나, 본 연구에서는 기존 연구를 통해 얻어진 10개의 분석 요인을 기초로 분석대상인 공항의 특성에 맞게 8개로 재설정하여 적용하였다. 조사대상 공항은 세계공항운송통계(WATS)에서 여객수송실적 상위 10개 공항 중 아시아지역에 위치한 공항; 홍콩국제공항(HKG), 창이국제공항(SIN), 나리타국제공항(NRT), 방콕 돈무앙국제공항(BKK), 인천국제공항(ICN) 등으로 한정하였다. 서비스 품질에 대한 평가는 여객을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 뒤, 이를 통해 획득한 기초 자료를 가지고 AHP 분석과 IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) 기법을 통하여 공항들의 경쟁력을 분석하였다. 공항 경쟁력을 분석할 결과, 공항 서비스 품질 요인 중 유형성이 가장 중요한 요인으로 나타났으며, 그 다음으로 편의성, 반응성, 접근성, 경제성 등의 순으로 분석되었다. AHP 분석을 통한 각 공항별 서비스 평가는 홍콩공항이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 인천, 창이, 방콕, 나리타공항 순으로 나타났다. IPA 기법을 적용한 결과, 인천국제공항은 반응성에서 대폭적인 개선이 요구되는 것으로 나타났다.

컨테이너 부산김해공항은 부산 경남 지역의 중요 항공 거점이며, 세계 5대 항만인 부산항과 근접해 있으면서도 그 규모나 역할에 맞지 않게 약소한 실정이다. 현재, 김해공항의 지속적인 취항 노선의 증가 및 이용 항공사가 증가하고 있지만, 포화 상태인 시설 및 군사공항을 겸하고 있어 높은 한계성에 직면하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 부산김해공항의 현 시점 및 개발 계획을 기초로 선용품물류를 중심으로 하여 부산국제공항의 발전을 예상하여, 국제공항의 시설 확충에 따른 물류비용 및 시간의 저감을 고려한다. 또한, 선용품물류를 기준으로 주요 항공노선의 우선순위를 검토하여 부산의 항만물류산업에 기여를 검토하고자 한다.
