밀리미터파용 세라믹 패키지에서의 기생공진 해석 및 억제 방법 (Analysis and Suppression of Parasitic Resonance in Millimeter-wave Ceramic Packages)

  • 패키지는 외부 회로에 의한 내부 회로의 보호와 함께 내부회로로부터의 누설 전자파가 전체 회로 성능에 영향을 미치지 않도록 하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 유한요소법(FEM : Finite Element Method)을 이용하여 20~40 ㎓까지 전자기적으로 차폐된 밀리미터파 대역용 세라믹 패키지의 광대역 특성을 해석하였다. 해석 결과, 패키지 외부를 전자기적으로 차폐시킴으로써 33.4 ㎓에서 기생공진 현상이 발생함을 확인하였다. 패키지의 이러한 기생공진 현상을 억제하기 위해 세라믹 패키지 벽에 금(Gold)이 채워진 금속봉을 이용하였으며, 그 결과 세라믹 패키지의 상용 대역인 20~40 ㎓에서 공진 현상을 효과적으로 제거할 수 있었다. 따라서 본 해석결과는 전자기적으로 차폐된 밀리미터파 대역용 세라믹 패키지를 이용한 MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) 실장에 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

태극권 수련자의 뇌파와 성격 및 식습관에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Brain Waves, Personality and Dietary Behaviors of Taekukkwon Practicianers)

  • Taekukkwon was practiced far health previously. The experimental group consisted of undergraduate and graduate students practising in the above disciplines at Myong Ji University. The group consisted of three female and three male students and the aim of this research was to measure the brain wave change for opened and closed eyes. The result of this research are as follows. Firstly, when students were subjected to basic open eye brain wave tests, beta-waves displayed for all regions of the brain. In the frontal region fast beta-waves were displayed and in the central region alpha-waves were displayed. Secondly, in the closed eye brain wave tests, the control group displayed beta-waves in some regions and alpha waves in external and internal regions. For all students\` brain-wave patterns, the amplitude of the alpha-wave was low and the frequency was high. In some students theta-waves were displayed. Taekukkwon practice relaxes the mind and body and helps relieve social stress which shows that taichichuan practices is beneficial. Finally, characteristics of the subjects were mostly type A so the personalities of the subjects were fast and aggressive. This research shows a definite link between personality and personal relationships with beta-waves emissions. So, further research is required in the future to investigate this relationship. The subjects consumed too large amount of foods so it was necessary to change their dietary habits taking into consideration on total calories, fats, and protein. It was also necessary to carrying out nutrition education to the students in emphasizing appropriate attitudes in general health and dietary behavior.

  • In this paper, the vibration characteristics of IHTS(Intermediate Heat Transfer System) piping system of LMR(Liquid Metal Reactor) conveying hot liquid sodium are investigated to eliminate the pipe supports for economic reasons. To do this, a 3-dimensional straight pipe element and a curved pipe element conveying fluid are formulated using the dynamic stiffness method of the wave approach and coded to be applied to any complex piping system. Using this method, the dynamic characteristics including the natural frequency, the frequency response functions, and the dynamic instability due to the pipe internal flow velocity are analyzed. As one of the design parameters, the vibration energy flow is also analyzed to investigate the disturbance transmission paths for the resonant excitation and the non-resonant excitations.

금속 함체내부로 입사되는 고출력 전자기 펄스에 대한 전자회로의 민감성 분석 (The Susceptibility of Electronic Circuits inside the Cavity by HPEM(High Power Electromagnetics) Environment)

  • Modern electronic circuits are of importance for the function of communication, traffic systems and security systems. An intentional threat to these systems could be of big casualties and economic disasters. This study has examined susceptibility of electronic circuits inside the cavity by HPEM(High Power Electromagnetics). The UWB measurements were done at an anechoic chamber using a RADAN voltage source, which can generate a transient impulse of about 200 kV. The HPEM wave penetrated inside the metal case appeared to the long damped ringwave of pulse length compared with the incident wave. In addition, the resonant frequency generated inside the metal case occurred primarily in the range of 1~3 GHz. The frequency band of 1~3 GHz was influenced on the electronic circuit, which was confirmed by an external antenna and an internal absorber. The electronic circuit was influenced by HPEM infiltrated into the cavity at the 86 kV/m out of the metal cases. Also in case of an absorber the susceptibility of an electronic circuit was smallest among other cases(aperture, antenna). It is considered that absorber has a function absorbing electromagnetic wave infiltrated into the cavity and simultaneously limiting resonance by varying a boundary condition inside the cavity. Based on the results, electronic equipment systems could be applied to protection that has suited system requirements.

3차원 차분격자볼츠만 모델에의 내부자유도 적용 및 유동소음 모사 (Application of the Internal Degree of Freedom to 3D FDLB Model and Simulations of Aero-Acoustic)

  • A 3-dimensional FDLB model with additional internal degree of freedom is applied for diatomic gases such as air, in which an additional distribution function is introduced. Direct simulations of aero-acoustic by using the applied model and scheme are presented. Speed of sound is correctly recovered. As typical examples, the Aeolian tone emitted by a circular column is successfully simulated even very low Mach number flow. Acoustic pressure fluctuations with the same frequency of the Karman vortex street compared with the pressure fluctuation around a circular column is captured. Full three-dimensional acoustic wave past a compact block like pentagon, furthermore, is also emitted in y direction as dipole like sound.

구형 알루미늄 쉘 내부의 충전 유체에 따른 수중 음향 산란 특성 분석 및 유사 위그너-빌 분포를 이용한 식별 기법 연구 (Analysis of acoustic scattering characteristics of an aluminum spherical shell with different internal fluids and classification using pseudo Wigner-Ville distribution)

  • 표적의 음향 산란 특성은 표적의 재료 특성과 구조적 특성에 영향을 받으며, 이는 음향을 이용하여 수중에서 표적을 탐지, 식별하고자 할 때 매우 중요한 정보가 된다. 특히, 얇은 탄성체의 경우 램파(Lamb wave)에 의해 표적 주변 유체에 산란파가 생성된다. 본 논문에서는 계단 주파수 스윕 사인 파형을 이용하여 수조에서 알루미늄 구의 산란 신호를 측정한 결과를 제시한다. 특히 알루미늄 구의 내부에 물이 채워져 있는 경우와 공기가 채워져 있는 경우에 대하여 산란 신호의 차이를 측정하고 이론 모델과 비교하였다. 또, 내부 물질에 따른 표적 산란 신호 차이를 유사 위그널-빌 분포를 이용하여 분석하고, 유도파의 평균 주파수, 주파수 분포, 에너지의 차이를 비교하였다. 분석 결과, 구의 내부에 물이 채워진 경우가 공기가 채워진 경우에 비해 유도파의 평균 주파수, 주파수 분포, 에너지가 증가하는 것을 확인하였으며 이는 이론적인 예상과 부합한다.

  • A method for partial discharge diagnosis based on UHF narrow band type for GIS has been developed and calibrated. In generally, PD cannot be directly measured under on-line condition, but we can indirectly measure the electromagnetic wave made by PD using the high-frequency antenna. Compared with VHF band, electromagnetic waves of UHF band have a low influence for external noise in high-voltage substation. Therefore, we can detect the real abnormality with several pC in GIS using UHF narrow-band type method. For the case of no internal VHF sensor for GIS of the domestic substation, it has applied to use the external UHF sensor attached in spacer in GIS of existing substation. In this paper, we firstly described the technique of partial discharge measurement using frequency analysis and phase analysis in UHF band. Secondly, we presented the results of sensitivity test, the relationship of dBm-pC and diagnosis result of the cause of PD source by phase analysis. And then, we report the diagnosis result of partial discharge on the real GIS in domestic substation. These results make above method applicable for measurement of quantity and cause of PD for real operation GIS in high-voltage substation.

FeSiCr/폴리머 복합 시트의 전자파 흡수 특성에 미치는 시트 두께의 영향 (Effects of Sheet Thickness on Electromagnetic Wave Absorption Characteristics in FeSiCr/Polymer Composite Sheets)

  • 92.6%Fe-6.5%Si-0.9%Cr(wt%) 연자성 합금 박편을 폴리머 중에 분산시킨 준마이크로파 대역의 전자파 노이즈 흡수용 복합시트를 제조할 때, 시트 두께에 따른 전자파 전력손실(전송손실) 및 전자기적 특성과 내부 미세구조의 변화를 조사하였다. 시트두께 0.3~0.5 mm의 범위에서, 시트가 두꺼울수록 1~5 GHz의 주파수 대역에서 투과 파라미터 $S_{21}$의 값이 현저하게 낮아지면서 전력손실의 크기가 매우 증가하였다. 이 때 복소 투자율 및 자기 손실계수는 시트 두께가 변하여도 거의 비슷한 값을 가져 전력손실의 변화에 별 기여를 하지 못한 것으로 관찰되었다. 한편 복소 유전율은 시트의 두께에 따라 상당한 변화를 보여 1~5 GHz 대역에서 시트 두께가 두꺼우면 유전율 허수부의 크기가 증가하였는바, 내부 미세구조의 변화에 기인하는 것으로 추정되는 이러한 복소 유전율의 변화가 두꺼운 복합 시트의 큰 전력손실 즉 우수한 전자파 흡수 특성의 주된 원인인 것으로 판단되었다.

평판 구조물의 진동 파워흐름해석을 위한 비보존 조인트 개발 (Development of Compliant and Dissipative Joints in Coupled Thin Plates for Vibrational Energy Flow Analysis)

  • In this paper, a general solution for the vibrational energy and intensity distribution through a compliant and dissipative joint between plate structures is derived on the basis of energy flow analysis (EFA). The joints are modeled by four sets of springs and dashpots to show their compliancy and dissipation in all four degrees of freedom. First, for the EFA, the power transmission and reflection coefficients for the joint on coupled plate structures connected at arbitrary angles were derived by the wave transmission approach. In numerical applications, EFA is performed using the derived coefficients for coupled plate structures under various joint properties, excitation frequencies, coupling angles, and internal loss factors. Numerical results of the vibrational energy distribution showed that the developed compliant and dissipative joint model successfully predicted the joint characteristics of practical structures vibrating in the medium-to-high frequency ranges. Moreover, the intensity distribution of a compliant and dissipative joint is described.

A Study on the Evaluation of Mterial Degradaion for 2.25Cr-1Mo Steel using Ultrasonic Attenuation Characterization

  • In significant number of energy-related facilities for like thermal power plant or petro-chemical industry, CrMo steels are widely used energy conversion industries. However, these materials undergo precipitation of carbides or intermetallic compounds into grain boundary and change of internal microstructure such as coarsening of precipitation, decrease of solute elements and impurity segregation under more severe service conditions, which results in deterioration of inherent superior material characteristics. In this study, it was verified experimentally the feasibility of the aging degradation evaluation for degraded 2.25Cr-lMo steel specimens prepared by isothermal aging heat treatment at 63$0^{\circ}C$ by high frequency longitudinal ultrasonic and surface SH wave investigating the change of attenuation coefficient analyzed by spectral analysis. Attenuation coefficient had a tendency to increase as degradation proceeded.
