  • As the e-marketplace becomes the core of management activities, researches on motivation, transaction type, strategy, satisfaction, risk management, performance evaluation, etc. have been actively studied, but the factors influencing actual utilization have not been fully. Especially, the factors that affect the intention of the users are limited without consideration of internal environment, external environment, e-marketplace characteristics such as operating rules, characteristics of the company to be used. In order to derive the determinants of B2B e-marketplace use, this study was conducted to examine the relationship between internal environment, external environment, e-marketplace characteristics as independent variables, intention of use as dependent variable, participation qualification, The results were as follows. First, the previous study limited the determinants of intention to use to either internal or external, but this study presented an integrated model that considers both factors. Second, the characteristics of companies participating in e-marketplace were identified by using participation qualification and activity scope as control variables.

  • In this paper, the optimized design for bow structure was investigated by using EDISON software. Considering the mechanism of the bow, non-linear FEM analysis was essential. The factors of the design are height, width, number of holes and taper value. High performance of the internal energy and lowest mass were main issues. The limit of the von-mises stress was yield strength for the material. Material was chosen by considering typical bow material, Aluminum. Using Taguchi method($L_9$), 9 models were selected and contribution rate was calculated for each factors. Following the contribution rate, 3 factors were fixed and optimized model was predicted. After making optimized model for FEM analysis, the value of internal-energy, mass for FEM model were compared with predicted value, calculated the percentage error and figure out the reliability of Taguchi method.

  • The aims of study were to provide basic data for the internationalization of Contract Foodservice Management Companies (CFMC) and to gain a better understanding of internal push-and-pull factors through in-depth interviews. The interviewees were managers of four large CFMCs and one small-to-medium CFMC. The non-structured interview format employed an interview guide of open-ended questions. All interviews were digitally recorded and notes were taken simultaneously by an interview assistant. The narrative data analysis involved transcription, coding, classification by categories, and content analysis. Eighty-eight codes were generated from the interview analyses, and the subordinate variables uncovered included seven push factors, eight pull factors, one interactive factor, and 10 internal dynamics. These factors will be useful in further studies of the internal operations of specific CFMCs, and more generally, the practical condition of the industry.

  • Background: There have been various results from studies concerning the predictors of recurrence in early-stage nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Therefore, an accurate assessment is needed to guide effective adjuvant therapy. We investigated the predictors of a recurrence in patients with resected, early-stage NSCLC and the risk factors associated with locoregional or distant recurrence. Methods: This retrospective study was conducted on patients at the Pusan National University Hospital from January 2006 to December 2011. Patients with pathological stages I or II were included in this study, as based on the seventh edition TNM staging system. Multivariate Cox proportional hazard models were used to identify factors associated with recurrence. Results: Two hundred and forty-nine patients were included. Among them, 180 patients were stage I, and 69 were stage II. Overall, by multivariate analysis, the independent factors associated with a 5-year total recurrence were the presence of visceral pleural invasion (VPI) (p=0.018) and maximal standardized uptake values (SUVs) of tumors on positron emission tomography (PET) >4.5 (p=0.037). The VPI was the only independent risk factor associated with both locoregional and distant recurrence, in the analysis of the patterns of tumor recurrence and their risk factors. In the subgroup analysis of stage I patients, three variables (male, VPI and resection margin positive) were significantly associated with a 5-year recurrence. Conclusion: The independent factors associated with postoperative recurrence in early-stage NSCLC were as follows: PET SUV >4.5 and the presence of VPI. For patients with those factors adjuvant therapy should be recommended as a more efficacious treatment.

  • As interests in the management of government-owned corporation rise, in these days, debt reduction and normalization of management of those companies have been proceeding under the lead of government. At this point, it is very important to seek internal marketing method for improvement of internal employees' satisfaction, loyalty and organization performance. This study analyzes impact of factors of internal marketing effect on organization satisfaction, loyalty and organization performance in the context of the domestic public companies, the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and the Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-WATER)'s employees empirically. There are some significant differences between the two publics. It is proved that delegation of the authority influences on internal satisfaction and organization performance in the case of KEPCO, and education and training influence on internal satisfaction and organization performance in the case of K-WATER. On the other hand, in the case of K-WATER, any internal marketing factors don't influence on loyalty. The results of this study show somewhat different characteristics depending on the characteristics of firm, however, it is expected that this study can be very useful in regards to similar public enterprises or businesses.
