In this paper we study a ring over which every left module of finite length has an injective hull of finite length. We consider a ring that is a finite intermediate normalizing extension ring of such a ring. We also consider the subrings of such a ring.

The study aimed to pinpoint the effects of an educational environment based on gamification on developing achievement motivation among first-grade intermediate students. Using an achievement motivation scale, the study adopted a quasi-experimental design with experimental and control groups. The sample consisted of 52 students selected randomly from the first-grade intermediate students. They were studying in public intermediate schools in Jeddah at the time of this study. They were divided into two groups. The control group (n=24 respondent), and the experimental group (n=28 respondent). The results showed statistically significant differences at the level α ≥ 0.05 between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the posttest of the achievement motivation measurement in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended using gamification in designing computer curricula and courses across educational stages in Saudi Arabia. It also recommends training the computer and information technology teachers on using gamification in their teaching.

The multi-stage shape drawing is used to obtain long shaped products with high levels of dimensional accuracy and quality. It is important to design the cross sectional shapes of the intermediate passes to meet the required dimensional accuracy of the final product in the multi-stage shape drawing. Until now, the cross sectional shapes of the intermediate passes have been designed by the experiences. It is still remained unsolved problem to design the cross sectional shapes of intermediate pass drawing dies in the multi-pass shape drawing. In this study, a new technique is proposed to design the cross sectional shapes of intermediate passes. The proposed method is applied to a multi-stage shape drawing for a LM-guide which is one of the representative shape drawing products. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, FE-simulation and experiments have been carried out. The dimensional accuracy of the proposed method is compared with that of the conventional shape drawing process designed by the industrial engineers.

과거 수 십년 동안 강박스 거더 교량은 휨과 비틀림에 대한 저항능력과 미적인 측면에서의 우수성으로 인해 많은 시공현장에서 건설되었다. 그러나 박스거더는 편재하된 하중 상태에서 단면의 뒤틀림과 뒴 현상을 경험하게 되는데 이는 박스거더의 단점으로 작용한다. 그러한 뒤틀림과 뒴 현상에 의해 발생하는 뒤틀림 응력들을 제어하기 위해서 일반적으로 박스거더 내부에 다이아프램을 설치하게 된다. 현재까지 건설된 강박스 거더 교량의 다이아프램의 형태는 충복 형태, 프레임 형태 그리고 트러스 형태 등이다. 본 연구의 목적은 매개변수 연구를 통해서 적절한 다이아프램 강성 비를 산정 하는 것과 산정된 강성 비에 근거하여 내부 다이아프램의 간격과 수를 제안하는 것이다. 대상교량은 단실 단면을 갖는 연속화된 직선 강박스 거더 교량이고, 주요한 매개변수는 단면의 형상, 경간 수, 등가 지간장, 내부 다이아프램 강성 그리고 내부 다이아프램 간격 등이다. 매개변수 연구를 통해서 적절한 내부 다이아프램 강성 비의 산정 그리고 내부 다이아프램의 간격과 수가 제안될 것이다.

The paper addresses the suitability of wind pressure coefficients specified in contemporary design standards and codes of practice for gable roofs of intermediate slope (roof angle $10^{\circ}-30^{\circ}$). In a recent research study, a series of low building models with different roof slopes in this intermediate range were tested in a boundary layer wind tunnel under simulated open country terrain conditions. This was different from the original study in the 70's, which produced the current provisions on the basis of a model tested only for a single roof slope (4:12) in this range. The results of the study suggest that a modification to the American wind provisions would be warranted to make them more representative of the true local and area-averaged wind loads imposed on gable roofs of intermediate slope.

This study examined patterns of engaging in "reading in connection to writing" (hereafter reading-writing practices) in the context of two ESL college composition classrooms. The purpose of this study was to explore whether the L2 proficiency level could be a key construct in explaining similarities and differences in reading-writing practices which students engaged in during the composing process. Multiple sources of data collected over the semester included interview protocols, written products, and observational notes. The results showed that the three proficiency groups under examination differed widely in the ways reading was connected to writing and in the types of intermediate texts produced during the composing process. The students in the high proficiency group produced more intermediate texts through an engagement in reading-writing practices connected to each other. On the contrary, the students in lower proficiency groups engaged in a limited range of reading-writing practices without support of intermediate texts. This study provides insight into the different ways ESL college students coordinate reading and writing while composing essays.

This study was conducted to investigate the feeding efficiency of the cattle egret (Bubulcus ibis) and the intermediate egret (Ardea intermedia) in relation to the stage of rice culture during two breeding seasons, 2006 and 2007, in Asan city, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. Cattle egrets caught mainly small invertebrate prey (insects and spiders, 98.4%) during all stages of rice cultivation, and had a higher prey capture rate in the plowing stage (14.98 prey/min) than in other stages (2.82-3.51 prey/min). Therefore, the biomass intake rate of cattle egrets was highest in the plowing stage. The intermediate egret captured both loaches (43.4%) and small invertebrates (50.6%). The prey capture rates of intermediate egrets increased gradually from the flooding stage (0.38 prey/min) to the planting stage (1.09 prey/min), and decreased in the growing stage (1.04 prey/min). However, intermediate egrets had the highest biomass intake rates in the plowing stage because more loaches were caught in the plowing stage (0.54 loaches/min) than other stages (0.23-0.36 loaches/min). Consequently, both intermediate egrets and cattle egrets had high energy intakes in the plowing stage and rice fields provided an important feeding habitat for both species.

In this study, a method to find the optimal intermediate die geometry for the multi-stage drawing process for the rectangular rod from a round bar is proposed and a program using the proposed method is developed. On the stage of the design of the intermediate die geometry, the virtual die was constructed using the initial billet as a inlet of the drawing die and the final product as a exit of that and the virtual die was divided by the number of pass. Divided die was transformed into the rectangular one which is the intermediate die geometry for the multi-stage rectangular drawing process. In order to verify the application of the proposed method on the real industrial product, the drawing of the rectangular rod from a round which composed two stage has been performed and simulated by the three dimensional rigid plastic finite element method.

When intonation in French is analysed in terms of a multi-dimentional and hierarchical structure, each of the prosodic units such as accent phrases(having different combinations of the basic tonemes L and H), pre-sentencial and post-sentencial long pauses, intonation phrases(containing boundary intonation), as well as intermediate phrases can be considered being realized on a separate tier. Unlike on the tiers where accent phrases and intonation phrases occur, an intonation rhythm consisting of plateaus is realised on that of intermediate phrases. This intonation rhythm consisting of plateaus is one of the significant factors that lead a basic French metrical rhythm. This paper first shows the types of combinations of the basic tonemes L and H found in French accent phrases. Secondly, this paper examines the roles intermediate phrases and plateaus play in French. Finally, this paper argues that intermediate phrases are the metrical units actually adopted as real utterance units in French.

Due to the nature of the long-term project of a Railway business, Many problems have been arisen in the process of delivering products or systems verified by suppliers to the customer's operation site. Unexpectedly, it is often necessary for the verified products to store intermediately at the supplier's site for a variety of reasons, such as delays in business and delays in civil engineering, at the time of sending them to the customer's operation site. In this study, the intermediate storage process for finding and solving problems related to intermediate storage was presented focusing on the Rolling Stock of Railway System by reference to ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015. A suitable intermediate storage process based on the developed product or system's characteristics will allow the verified products or systems to be placed on the customer's operation site and to meet the customer's product or system requirements.
