탁아기관의 교사 및 원장을 위한 영양교육훈련 프로그램의 개발 필요성 평가 (Needs Assessment of Nutrition Education Program for Day Care Providers)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the nutrition education and training needs as a basis for program planning for day care providers. A sample of 239 day care teachers responded to a questionnare assessing demographic characteristics, nutrition education experiences, and measuring the level of basic knowledge of food & nutrition. Menu planning was added to the questionnarie for 158 day care center directors. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1) majority(92.5%) of day care teachers and 74.1% of day care directors were interested in receiving nutrition education and training programs. 2) The topics generating the greatest interest for day care teachers were good food habits, food preparation & meal planning and food sanitation. 3) As a result of measuring the level of basic nutrition knowledge, day care teachers possessed the moderate amount of knowledge about five basic food groups, cholesterol, protein containing food, fat, while they possessed the poor knowledge about vitamin and calorie. 4) Day care teachers and directors possessed a certain level of knowledge about what the good snacks are and how to teach the unbalanced diet oriented children, while they possessed a low level of knowledge about children's nutrition requirement.

간호 대학생의 기본간호 임상실습에 관한 자율성, 교수효율성 및 임상실습 만족도 (Autonomy, Teaching Effectiveness, and Clinical Practice Satisfaction for Fundamentals Nursing Clinical Practice in Student Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate autonomy, teaching effectiveness, and clinical practice satisfaction for fundamentals nursing clinical practice in student nurses. Method: The participants were 244 sophomores, who had done the practice for 8 weeks from June 17 ${\sim}.33$ August 23, 2005. Autonomy the Caring Perspective(ACP) devised by Boughn(1995) was used to measure autonomy, Instrument to Measure Effectiveness of Clinical Instructor(IMECL) by Reeve(1994) for measuring teaching effectiveness, and an instrument by Moon(2002) for measuring satisfaction. Results: After practice, the role model was seen as rich in knowledge and experience(48.77%). Desirable categories for instructor were full-time professors with a practice background and head nurses(31.97%). Average score for autonomy was 3.71(${\pm}.33$), for teaching effectiveness, 3.67(${\pm}.48$) and for satisfaction 3.51(${\pm}.38$). Autonomy scores were high for students satisfied with their major(F=5.23, p=.006), and interested In practice(F=4.38, p=.014). Teaching effectiveness scores were high for students satisfied with practice (F=2.57, p=.038). Clinical practice satisfaction scores were high for students interested in practice(F=5.01, p=.007). Relationships between autonomy and teaching effectiveness (r=.174, p=.006), and between leaching effectiveness and satisfaction showed a positive correlation(r=.632, p=.000). Conclusion: Interest in clinical practice courses in first year affect autonomy, teaching effectiveness and satisfaction.

  • 신경망은 비선형 동적 시스템의 식별 및 제어에 대한 기존 방법의 매력적인 대체방법으로서 가능성을 보여주었다. 이 논문의 목적은 신경망의 응용, 즉 미지의 비선형 시스템의 입력 신호에 대한 신경 복원을 제시하고 있다. 이 기본 방법론은 여러 공학분야에서 실질적인 용도로 쓰일 수 있으며, 분명히, 이 제시된 기법의 응용은 시스템 입력을 측정하는 완전한 감지기망이 가능하지 않는 물리적 시스템에 중요할 수 있다. 또한 이 복원기법의 응용은 시스템이 정상적으로 작동할 시에는 중요하지 않지만, 성능저하 또는 시스템 중단을 야기하는 고장 혹은 시스템 이상을 일으킬 시에는 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 미지의 비선형 동적 시스템에 이 방법을 적용한 결과를 제시하고 있으며, 백색/채색 시스템 잡음에 대한 이 기법의 강인성이 평가되었다.

가상환경에서 효율적인 협업을 위한 다중계층 공유모델 (Multi-Layer Sharing Model for Efficient Collaboration in Distributed Virtual Environments)

  • 본 논문은 인터넷 상의 다수의 참여자가 분산가상환경에서 협업을 수행하는 경우 발생되는 전송 메시지트래픽을 조절하는 기법에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 가상환경에서 교환되는 정보의 양을 줄이는 방법을 상태 갱신메시지 필터링 기법이라고 부르며 이는 가상환경의 확장성을 향상시키는데 필수적인 처리과정이다. 대표적인 필터링 방법인 공간분할 기법은 전체 환경에서 작은 관심영역으로 분할하여 일관성이 유지되어야 하는 영역의 크기를 조절하는 방법을 사용하여 메시지 트래픽을 줄인다. 기존의 공간분할 기법은 시뮬레이션 이전에 관심영역에 대한 정보가 결정되어 사용되므로 동적 환경변화에 대한 적응성과 융통성이 부족하다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 관심영역 관리방법을 시스템 수행중에 재구성함으로써 적응성을 높인 동적 관심 영역 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 환경변화요소를 반영하기 위하여 제안된 모델은 관심영역의 다중분할과 다중 일관성 유지 알고리즘의 사용하여 효율적인 시스템 자원 소비를 가능하게 하였다. 제안된 기법의 성능평가를 위하여 가상으로 아바타의 행위를 발생시키고 갱신 메시지 트래픽을 측정하여 기존 모델과 비교하였다. 결론적으로, 제안된 모델은 다수의 참여자의 수용이 요구되는 MMORPG나 가상커뮤니티 시스템의 관심 영역 관리 시스템에 활용될 수 있다.

연예인 모방행동이 청소년의 의복행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Star-Entertainer Imitation Behavior on Adolescents′ Clothing Behaviors)

  • The purpose of this study was to extend the social teaming and imitation theory in an attempt to examine the effect of star-entertainer imitation behavior on clothing behaviors in relation to adolescents' age and gender variables. The research was a survey and the subjects were 895 adolescents in Taejon, Korea. The measuring instruments was serif-administrated questionnaire consisted of star-entertainer imitation behaviors and clothing behaviors. The collected data were analyzed using factor analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test. Results were as fellows: 1) The results of analysing the response of star-entertainer imitation behaviors showed that adolescents had very positive attitudes and high psychological need to identify self with star-entertainers, however, their actual identification behaviors were not very noticeable because of parents' restraint and school regulations on students' appearances and clothing behaviors. 2) The results of analysing the response of clothing behaviors showed four factors such as 'fashion$.$clothing interest', 'psychological dependency on clothing' , 'clothing exhibition', and 'clothing conformity'. 3) Star-entertainer imitation behaviors had significant effects on clothing behaviors; the group with more star-entertainer imitation behaviors showed more fashion$.$clothing interest, higher psychological dependency on clothing and clothing exhibition, and lower clothing conformity than the group with less star-entertainer imitation behaviors. 4) Clothing behaviors showed the differences according as adolescents' age and gender; the female adolescents showed more fashion$.$clothing interest and clothing exhibition than male, the high school and cortege age groups showed higher psychological dependency on clothing than other age groups. It is concluded that the results of this study support social teaming and imitation theory since TV media give strong influence on the TV viewers through presenting various modeling stimuli to adolescents' lives.

  • 스마트기기 대중화에 따른 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 폭발적인 증가로 온라인상의 관계와 활동이 오프라인상의 실생활까지 영향을 미침에 따라 온라인상의 소셜 네트워크 활동에 대한 관심과 중요성이 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 SNS 활동에 영향을 미치는 요소를 대상(object, 사용자(User), 영향력 방향(Influence direction), 영향력 강도(Influence distance) 4가지 요소로 정의하고 SNS 사용자 상호간 영향을 유기적 관점에서 측정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 기존 영향력 측정 요소를 반응횟수, 친구의 수, 접촉횟수 등 정형 데이터와 원인시간과 반응시간의 차이, 호감도, 반응의 유형 등 비정형 데이터까지 확대하여 영향력 방향(Influence Directio)과 영향력 강도(Influence Strength or Distance)의 측정 기법을 정교화 하였다. 또한, 영향력 측정을 위한 data를 수집하고 분석하는 시스템과 facebook으로 수집한 sample data를 이용한 영향력 측정 기법 프로세스를 실험하고 구현 가능성을 설명하였다.

백작약 추출물이 항산화활성, LDL 산화 억제 및 혈전용해에 미치는 영향 (Preventive Effects of Peony Root Extracts on Oxidative Stress, Thrombosis and Atherosclerosis)

  • Objectives: There is currently increased interest in the identification of natural antioxidant compounds derived from various plants. Peony Root (PR) is used worldwide for the treatment of many types of cardiovascular disease including atherosclerosis and hypertension. It has been used in Korean traditional medicine for the treatment of glycosuria, hypertension and cancer. However, to date, no studies concerning the antioxidant properties of PR have been conducted. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the in vitro scavenging activity, inhibitory effect of LDL oxidation of pro-oxidant reactive species and anti-thrombosis effect in response to treatment with PR using various screening methods including biological and non-biological oxidants. Methods: In this study, the antioxidant activity of extract from PR was studied with in vitro methods by measuring the antioxidant activity by TEAC, measuring the scavenging effects on reactive oxygen species (ROS) [superoxide anion, hydroxyl radical] and on reactive nitrogen species (RNS) [nitric oxide and peroxynitrite] as well as measuring the inhibitory effect on $Cu^{2+}$-induced human LDL oxidation and the inhibitory effect on collagen-induced platelet aggregation. Results: The PR extracts were found to have a potent scavenging activity of oxidative stress [DPPH, superoxide anion, hydroxyl radical, nitric oxide and peroxynitrite, etc.] as well as an inhibitory effect on LDL oxidation and on platelet aggregation. Conclusions: The PR extracts have anti-oxidative and anti-atherosclerotic effects in vitro system, which can be used for developing pharmaceutical drugs against oxidative stress and atherosclerosis.

스테레오 영상 인식에 기반한 3D 물체의 부피계측방법 (A Stereo Image Recognition-Based Method for measuring the volume of 3D Object)

  • 본 논문에서는 스테레오 영상 인식에 기반한 직육면체형 물체의 부피를 계측하는 한 방법이 제안된다. 제안된 방범은 두 대의 CCD(charge coupled device)카메라로부터 획득된 영상에 대하여 관심영역추출, 특징 추출, 그리고 스테레오 정합에 기반한 꼭지점 인식의 과정을 통하여 3D 물체의 부피를 계측한다. 제안된 방법은 3D 물체의 특징을 나타내는 꼭지점 후보들을 영상처리과정을 통해 추출한 후, 이들 꼭지점들에 대해서만 스테레오 정합을 수행함으로써 고속의 부피 계측이 가능한 이점이 있다. 실험을 통하여, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법이 직육면체형 물체의 고속 부피계측에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있음이 보여진다.

세종시대 창제된 소간의(小簡儀)의 현대적 개조와 태양의 고도 및 방위각 관측 (Modern Reformation of So-ganui Invented during King Sejong Period and It's Altitude and Azimuth of the Sun Observations)

  • The purpose of this study was to explain how extraordinary the scientific technology or our ancestor was from the modern perspective by remodeling the most unique astronomical instrument, So-ganui (小簡儀), developed in the Sejong Period (世宗時代) after being examined with contemporary and the principles of the science and observational technology would be properly understood and measured directly. When measuring the altitude of the sun and azimuth using So-ganui, it was adjusted with the horizontal coordinate system and measured using Jipyeonghwan (地平環), Ipeunhwan (立運環) and Guyhyeong (窺衡). Based such measuring principles, the measurement accuracy proposed using So-ganui are as follows. The remodeled So-ganui produced approximately ${\pm}0.29$ degrees error on average at high altitude while in measuring the azimuth degrees, there was difference of ${\pm}0.35$ degrees. Since the theoretically, the measurement error for So-ganui was ${\pm}0.5$ degrees, the remodeled So-ganui could accurately measure at the high altitude compared to So-ganui from the Sejong period. In the study, So-ganui, which has disappeared, has been remodeled in modern perspective to be used as the educational material to accurately understand the principles of science and measurement technology from the Sejong period. The findings could contribute to raising the reputation in the astronomical observations from the documents from the Sejong period. Furthermore, this study has materialized the celestial and sky our ancestors have viewed with the observational principles of their times, on the computer screen via a webcam, bringing out interest in the traditional science for the students.

레이저 유도 백열법을 이용한 단기통 커먼레일 디젤 엔진 배기에서의 PM 크기 계측에 관한 연구 (A Study on Measurements of PM Size in a Single Cylinder Common-rail Diesel Engine Exhaust using LII Method)

  • Recently particulate matter(PM) emission regulations are becoming more strict for diesel engines. There is increasing interest for measuring not only concentration but also size of the particles. Laser-induced incandescence (LII) has emerged as a promising technique for measuring particle volume fraction and size. In this study, the Simple Time Resolved-LII method was applied to exhaust of Ethylene diffusion flame and diesel engine exhaust for measuring soot and PM size. The particle size data from LII technique were calibrated using Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope(FE-SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscope(TEM) photographs. In diesel engine experiments for particle size measurement, results from LII measurement are in a good agreement with those from TEM photograph, and difference between two measurements was less than 16%.
