Despite being a key concept of International Relations theory, there is no consensus about what the national interest is. It is almost impossible for political leaders of democratic states to make a crucial decision in foreign policies when considering only the national interest without public support. Rather, we are unable to imagine the national interest without public opinion. In general, international crises galvanize people who held different opinions and unify social cleavages, such as secular-religious identities, into a nation that acts in its national interest. The author proposes a method to operationalize the key concept and describes a relationship between the national interest and religious identities in a democratic state. The selected case is the state of Israel. It is believed that Israel is a good example to think about the association between foreign affairs and political attitudes since it is characterized as a socio-religious divided society and has often waged war against Arab military forces.

Web usage mining is a research field for searching potentially useful and valuable information from web log file. Web log file is a simple list of pages that users refer. Therefore, it is not easy to analyze user's current interest field from web log file. This paper presents web usage mining method for finding users' current interest based on fuzzy categories. We consider not only how many times a user visits pages but also when he visits. We describe a user's current interest with a fuzzy interest degree to categories. Based on fuzzy categories and fuzzy interest degrees, we also propose a method to cluster users according to their interests for user modeling. For user clustering, we define a category vector space. Experiments show that our method properly reflects the time factor of users' web visiting as well as the users' visit number.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the casual relationship among Housing Transaction Index, Jeonse Rental Index and Interest Rate. To analyze the influence of interest rate in more detail, CD Interest rate and Spread are used as variables. Granger Casualty Test is used as a analysis tool, As a result, Spread is the cause variable of the Housing Transaction Index and the Housing Transaction Index is the cause variable of the CD Interest Rate. And also, CD Interest rate influences the Jeonse Rental Index and the Jeonse Rental Index has influence on the other variables.

HJM representation of the term structure of interest rates sometimes produces the negative interest rates with positive probability. This paper shows that the condition of positive interest rates can be derived from the jump diffusion process, if a proper positive martingale process with the compensated jump process is chosen. As in Flesaker and Hughston, the condition is incorporated into the bond price process.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the preference of image for modern application of Korean traditional patterns. A survey was conducted using the random selection among female undergraduate students in Daegu city. The degree of interest and preference in Korean traditional style or something like that measured by 5 scale method. And then they were classified into two groups which were interest/non-interest group, and preference/non-preference group. The image of Korean traditional patterns consisted of semantic differential scales. Frequency, percentage and mean were analyzed, for difference of groups t-test was analyzed. The results were as fellows; 1. For the degree of interest for Korean traditional patterns, it was showed that 53.8% of total respondents took interest and about 40.4% of them had preference for traditional patterns. the correlation coefficient of the degree of interest and preference was 0.782(p<0.01) and showed that the positive correlation was high. 2. Among 20 kinds of Korean traditional patterns, the degree of preference for the patterns of plants and nature was quite high whereas that for the patterns of geometrical things was low relatively. 3. It was evaluated that pattern of nature was fresh, refined and womanly image generally. It was evaluated that pattern of plants was womanly, fresh, weak, light and soft image and that of animals was heavy, splendid, high-class, manly, strong and positive image. It was evaluated that pattern of geometrical things was the most refined image and high-class, rigid and strong. 4. The statistical significance of mean between interest/non-interest group was showed statistically in the patterns of clouds, mountains, lotus, apricot, orchid, dragon, phoenix and bogey. In case of pattern of orchids, the degree of preference was most different between interest/non-interest group. 5. The pattern of plants showed the most different evaluation for images between interest/non-interest group. For refined/old-fashioned polar adjective images, the interest group evaluated the pattern of plants more refined. 6. For pattern of orchids, the difference of degree of preference between preference/non-preference group was most remarkable in Korean traditional patterns. 7. The pattern of geometrical things showed the most different evaluation for images between preference/non-preference group. For warm/cool polar adjective images, the preference group evaluated the pattern of geometrical things cooler.

본 연구의 목적은 수학 학습에 대한 상황적 흥미 요인을 탐색하고, 이 결과를 바탕으로 수학 수업 내의 교수·학습 방법과 교수·학습 활동 및 수업 외의 비교과 활동에 포함되어 있는 상황적 흥미 요인을 밝히는 것이다. 고등학생들을 대상으로 설문을 실시한 결과 수학 학습에 대한 상황적 흥미의 요인은 10개의 세부영역(즐거움, 호기심, 유능감/ 실생활, 타교과, 진로/ 사전 지식, 지식의 축적/ 변환, 해석), 4개의 일반영역(정서, 태도/ 지식, 이해), 2개의 고차영역(정의/인지)으로 추출되었다. 또한 교수·학습 방법과 교수·학습 활동 및 비교과 활동에는 상황적 흥미의 다양한 요인이 포함되어 있음을 밝혔다. 10개의 수학 학습에 대한 상황적 흥미 요인에 개인적 흥미로 발달에 필요한 요인이 공유되어 있었고, 이러한 연구 결과는 수학 학습 흥미 발달에 관한 연구로 확장될 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구는 2022년 8월-9월 C시 소재 일개 대학 간호대학생 291명을 대상으로 정치적 관심, 경제적 관심, 사회문화적 관심과 간호직 유지의도와의 관계를 살펴보았다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 정치적 관심 3.35점(최대 5점), 경제적 관심 3.76점(최대 5점), 사회문화적 관심 4.15점(최대 5점), 간호직 유지의도 3.40점(최대 5점)이었다. 변수들 간의 상관관계에서는 정치적 관심과 사회문화적 기술의 상관계수(r=.385, p<.01)가 높았고, 경제적 관심과 전체 사회문화적 관심이 가장 상관계수(r=.534, p<.01)가 높았다. 간호직 유지의도와의 상관관계는 사회문화적 실천의지(r=.158, p<.01)와 태도(r=.131, p<.01)가 통계적으로 유의하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 간호직 유지의도에 영향을 미치는 변수로 정치적, 경제적, 사회문화적 관심을 포함한 반복연구와 전문 직업으로 간호직을 오랜 기간 유지할 수 있도록 사회문화적 태도와 실천의지를 포함한 체계적이기도 다채로운 교육 프로그램에 대한 추후연구를 제언한다.

본 연구는 초등 수학 교과서 발행 체제 전환이라는 수학 교육의 새로운 변화에 따라 초등 교사들의 수학 교과서에 대한 관심은 어떠한지 알아보았다. 이를 위해 전국의 초등 3-4학년 교사를 대상으로 온라인 설문 플랫폼을 활용하여 설문 조사를 실시하였고 참여자 199명의 응답 데이터를 바탕으로 수학 교과서에 대한 관심을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 초등 교사들의 수학 교과서에 대한 관심도는 정보적 관심과 개인적 관심에서 높게 나타났다. 그리고 교사 개인의 최고점 관심을 보인 단계는 강화적 관심과 운영적 관심 순으로 많이 나타났다. 개인 변인에 따라 수학 교과서에 대한 관심도 차이를 분석한 결과 교사의 수학 교육 연수 경험, 수학 교과서에 대한 만족도, 그리고 수학 교육 전공 여부에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 이를 통해 초등 교사들은 검정 수학 교과서에 대한 특징, 장단점, 자료 등에 관한 정보적 관심이 높음을 알 수 있고 수학 교과서에 대한 개인적 관심이 높게 나타난 것은 검인 정제 전환 목적에 따라 긍정적으로 작용할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 또 교사 개인의 수학 교과서에 대한 최고점 관심 단계 분석 결과 강화적 관심 단계인 교사가 많은 비율을 나타냈으므로 교사의 창의적인 수학 교과서 사용과 재구성을 지원하기 위한 다양한 방안 마련이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

This study aimed to establish the public interest functions of fisheries and fishing villages, which is intended to help introduce and expand the public-purpose direct payment system in the fisheries sector. Firstly, this study looked at trends related to the public interest functions of domestic and foreign cases in similar fields in order to get implications for establishing public service functions in fisheries and fishing villages. Secondly, three criteria were defined for establishing the public interest functions of fisheries and fishing villages. Thirdly, the public interest functions of fisheries and fishing villages were defined through prior research, analysis of overseas cases, and consultation with experts in the fields of fisheries and fishing villages. As a result, the six public interest functions and the 14 detailed functions were defined. Finally, this study established a direction for preserving and improving the public interest functions of fisheries and fishing villages, and presented strategies for achieving them.

The purpose of this study was to examine the elementary pre-service teachers' interest in biological topics and activities. The instrument to survey the interest of them consists of 8 domains containing 27 topic items and 7 domains containing 12 activity items(three-point from 0 to 2 Likert scale). Data were collected from 108 pre-service teachers. The interest level in the topics was high, but the interest level in the activities was average. There was not different between interest levels of females and males in both topic and activity components (p > .05). Among the topics, the 'genetics' domain correlated strongly with the domains of 'nutrition and digestion', 'circulation', 'respiration' and 'nervous system', and the 'respiration' domain correlated with the 'circulation' domain(r >.450, p<.01). The correlation between the domains of 'out-of class experience activity' and 'visual information activity', and 'experimental performance following procedure' and 'discussing and debating'(r >.450, p<.01). This results suggested that the educational contents including learning materials and experiential activities be developed to activate the interest of elementary pre-service teachers in biology.
