Recently realistic descriptions have been frequently used in anti-smoking campaigns. The same trend can also be seen with regard to posters as a medium of visual communication. It was intended to examine how different types of visual images in anti-smoking campaign posters produced and distributed by the WHO can improve the effectiveness of health communication. This article aims to determine how each of abstract/stylized illustrations and realistic images might affect the three key variables of the Theory of Planned Behavior, which are Attitudes toward the Behavior, Subjective Norms and Perceived Behavioral Control, in relation to quitting smoking. Results showed that realistic images are different in improving the attitudes toward the behavior and subjective norms. However, there are no significant difference between abstract/stylized illustrations and realistic images in Perceived Behavioral Control. The findings of this study suggest that the above-mentioned types of visual information achieve different levels of effectiveness in health communication. It is desirable that more effort be devoted to the interdisciplinary study across the areas of visual design and social psychology, for example, with a view to developing better health communication strategies.

In this paper, parametric structural analysis is presented utilizing the co-rotational(CR) shell analysis utilizing EDISON. CR shell analysis shows faster convergence than the commercial software, NASTRAN, does. The 1st natural frequency of the rear frame is obtained, which is close to that of the engine during high speed cruise. Three cases under two design variables are presented and analyzed. Gusset is shown to be more effective among those which feature the same weight change. The results presented in this paper will be applicable for further researches to improve the durability of a motorcycle rear frame.
This paper presents an optimization process for a catamaran hull form. The entire optimization process was managed using the CAD-CFD integration platform CAESES. The resistance of the demi-hull was simulated in calm water using the CFD solver STAR-CCM+, and an inviscid fluid model was used to reduce the computing time. The Free-Form Deformation (FFD) method was used to make local changes in the bulbous bow. For the optimization of the bulbous bow, the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA)-II was applied, and the optimization variables were the length, breadth, and angle between the bulbous bow and the base line. The Lackenby method was used for global variation of the bow of the hull. Nine hull forms were generated by moving the center of buoyancy while keeping the displacement constant. The optimum bow part was selected by comparing the resistance of the forms. After obtaining the optimum demi-hull, the distance between two demi-hulls was optimized. The results show that the proposed optimization sequence can be used to reduce the resistance of a catamaran in calm water.

Objectives: This study was designed to investigate the current status of the association of job-related information such as employment status, workplace environment, and hazard material exposures with health examination outcomes. Methods: The study used data from KNHANES 2007-2009 representing the three years of 2007-2009, which was conducted annually using a rolling sampling design that involved a complex, stratified, multistage, probability-cluster survey of a representative sample of the non-institutionalized civilian population in Korea. The final analytical sample consisted of 17,240 participants. Information on age, education, smoking history and alcohol intake was collected during the health interview. Job related information consisted of employment status, workplace environment, and hazardous material exposure. The selected indices of health examination were blood pressure, fasting glucose, blood cholesterol, HDL, SGOT, SGPT, and BUN. Results: In multiple logistic regression analysis using hypertension and pre-hypertension as dependent variables and job related categories as independent variables after covariate adjustments, the odds of hypertension and pre-hypertension were significantly lower in those with responsibility and power in their job activities. Interestingly, low odds for hypertension were observed among those who reported that their jobs were fast-paced. Conclusions: This study confirmed that some job-related categories in employment status, workplace environment, and hazardous material exposure had an association with health outcome status. It is worthwhile to comment that high responsibility and power in job activities were revealed as one of the important favorable factors to improve health condition of workers.
The purpose of this study was to investigate significant differences between the application group and nonapplication group of integrated science education in the science class about elementary teachers' perceptions and PCK. The results are as follows. First, no significant differences were found about science teachers' fundamental background variables between the two groups. This results showed that the application of integrated science education didn't have relation with the fundamental background variables. It was found that the application group of integrated science education has a lower frequency than the application group, however, it has been analysed that the application group has been applied at the introduction stage for students' motivation, focused on biology as twice every month. Second, to apply a successful integrated education in the elementary science class, it has analysed that not only teachers should need to understand about application method and concept of integrated science education but also science textbook and teaching-learning material should be developed and diffused in the well-integrated science. Third, it was found that professionality of elementary teachers to teach the scientific content knowledge is not comparatively high and non-application group of integrated science education has a lower PCK than the application group. Therefore, it should be provided that not only training programmes to learn interdisciplinary knowledge related to science, can lead to more understanding about instructional design, teaching strategies and concept for integrated science education should be developed but also chances to participate in various training programmes should be provided to enhance elementary teachers' professionality for integrated science education.

This study presented the route location method by applying AHP and evaluating quantitatively. This study developed the program that can be easily applied to this kind of road design, and built the decision support system for route location. The study results are summarized as follows ; We could quantitatively evaluate the appropriateness of exiting routes by applying the AHP based on GIS. If we apply this to the roads that will be newly constructed, we can make the objective and reliable route location when making road plans and basic designs. We improved the technique of route location by applying the decision support system with third-dimensional data, which considers even the vertical alignment plan, to the existing decision support system with second-dimensional data. And, since we can set those data such as vertical slope, earth-volume, structure size, location and construction cost to independent variables, we can make road designs more scientifically and reasonably.
This research was designed to verify the causal relationships between organization managers' unmet expectations and job burnout and the mediating effects of overcommitment based on the effort-rewards imbalance theory. It was also intended to evaluate the moderating effect of LMXSC on the relationship between overcommitment and job burnout. 172 branch managers working at commercial bank were selected as the target research group. This study was validated by The SPSS 24.0, the reliability was justified through the factor analysis, and the casual relationship was confirmed through the three-step regression. As a result, unmet expectations had a strong positive correlation with job burnout and overcommitment. Overcommitment had a strong positive correlation with the mediating effect between unmet expectations and job burnout. Moderating effects of LMXSC were not significant. This study showed the practical implication between unmet expectations, overcommitment, and job burnout. Additionally it exhibited the job design and management practice in manager groups where the importance of their role has been expanded. Lastly, we found the interdisciplinary implication from making an effort to elaborate the antecedent of variables.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the effect of Desexualization Care guided by dramaturgical interaction on women's embarrassment during cervical cancer screening. Method: This study was carried out in a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized post-test only design. 62 women who had cervical cancer screening were' conveniently recruited from a university hospital health promotion center. Embarrassment was measured under four distinctive sub-dimensions by the method of self-reported questionnaire and blood pressure and pulse rates monitoring. The data of control group had a conventional pap smear were collected in advance and then those of experimental group were gathered after completing data collection in the control group. Women in experimental group were provided with a newly developed cervical cancer screening programme in which interdisciplinary team conducted dramaturgical interaction. Result: There was no significant difference in the scores of VAS between the two groups. The score of physiological response of Embarrassment Measurement Scale was significantly lower in experimental group than in the control group (p <.05), while no significant difference was found in cognitive-emotional, non-verbal and verbal behavioral responses between the two groups. There was also no significant difference in blood pressure and pulse rates between the two groups during cervical s creening. Conclus ion: Desexualization Care guided by dramaturgical interaction during cervical screening was found to have positive effect on physiological response of women's embarrassment. Further research for identifying other main variables which might have influenced on women's embarrassment is needed.

The government has proposed a development model for universities to strengthen the capacity of the College of Humanities as part of the university restructuring policy in line with the trend of the times, and encouraged each university to voluntarily induce the establishment of the humanities development plan through financial support under their own individual conditions. With the decline in the school-age population due to the declining fertility rate, the rapid change in the industrial structure has highlighted the decline in the employment rate of the students of the humanities. Therefore, the government is implementing university grading based on the results of the university structural reform evaluation, and pressing low-grade universities through reduction of capacity and reduction of support. In the course of this change, universities have designated the College of Humanities as the primary target of integration with other majors or and its disintegration. This study examines the direction of the government's attempt to change the humanities in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and suggests a precedent example during the reform of the humanities college. If the humanities college is integrated with practical studies such as management, design, IT, CT, and engineering, the strengths of the humanities can be highlighted. However, the results of this study suggest that many variables such as consideration of students' aptitudes and interests in the integration process of majors, autonomy in major selection, understanding between departments integrated, and demand for a single major before integration or disintegration should be considered. In addition, an example of a local private university shows that the hasty attempt to integrate or disintegrate the humanities can rather lead to various educational harms.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the different consumption patterns of fashion products according to the demographic characteristics and religious variables of Muslim women in Indonesia. The research method consisted of a questionnaire, which surveyed Muslim women in Indonesia, whose ages ranged from teens to 40s. The final questionnaire made use of 301 responses, and the analysis methods included 𝛘2-testing, factor analysis, and ANOVA. The results of this survey are as follows: For differences in average monthly clothing purchase costs, there were significant differences according to age, monthly income, final education, and whether or not the respondent wore a hijab, but there was also significant difference according to marital status and religious faithfulness. Muslim women's clothing purchasing factors were practicality, visibility, fit-to-wear, and design. In terms of the differences in factors which were considered when purchasing clothing, they depended on whether or not the respondent was married, practicality and visibility according to age, visibility according to final education, and religious faithfulness. There were significant differences in practicality and visibility, but not according to monthly income. When accounting for the differences in the places where Muslim women bought fashion products, there were significant differences according to marital status and age. In terms of the differences in reasons for choosing a place of purchase, there were significant differences according to age, monthly income, final education, and the degree of hijab wearing.
